B. Simone & Pretty Vee Respond To Soulja Boy Following His Heated Rant

If it was apparent by now, Soulja Boy is someone that you have to tread lightly around. The slightest bit of ridicule sets this guy off and B. Simone is someone who learned that the hard way. Just yesterday, a clip from the multi-hyphenate’s podcast, Let’s Try This Again, was making the rounds online after shooting a stray toward the rapper. She was retelling a story from a magazine photoshoot and while she was working, she had a gospel music playlist. B. Simone was saying how no one at the site was ripping her for her taste.

“Nobody said ‘Why are we listening to this? Man, put on Soulja Boy.’ I don’t think anybody’s ever saying put on Soulja Boy… I don’t know why I said that”. Later on, the podcast host made sure to give the “Crank That” MC his props for being a “hip-hop legend” and a “trendsetter”. Like we mentioned, though, all of the buttering up didn’t keep Soulja from firing back. He went off on Simone, essentially calling her ugly, roasting her for her lack of recognition as a musician, and repeatedly pointed out how he had more hair than her.

Well, B. Simone, along with fellow comedian, Pretty Vee, had some words for Mr. Pretty Boy Swag. However, there was nearly not as much malicious intent, especially from Simone. “This is nuts 😂”, she began. “I literally say “‘We have to put some respect on Soulja Boy name. He is a trendsetter & an innovator in the culture. So I respect Soulja Boy’”. I literally say he’s a hip-hop legend 🤔 God bless you baby @souljaboy 🙏🏾 Hope you good 🥹 But LTTA @letstrythisagain TAP IN👏🏾👏🏾❤❤ Love yall !!!!”. That prompted Soulja to react lightheartedly, “@thebsimone you hurt my feelings 😭🤦🏾‍♂️”.

That is when Pretty Vee came in to back up her girl. “Don’t play with me @souljaboy. You better play with them ones like this but not @thebsimone. Again she said what she said, now WHAT 🤬”. I rebuke you in the name of Jesus you living creature 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂”. What are your thoughts on B. Simone and Pretty Vee’s responses to Soulja Boy following his heated clap-back? Does it sound like things are okay between the trio? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Benny The Butcher Praises Hit-Boy In Responses To His Haters

Benny The Butcher has never been shy from responding to haters online, even when they’re his own fanbase criticizing his work. However, in his latest barrage of Twitter replies on Thursday (January 18), he decided to target people disrespecting Hit-Boy’s name, who is one of the most essential producers in his entire catalog. The two brought us the 2020 album Burden of Proof and other collab tracks, and Hit -– along with The Alchemist -– will produce the Black Soprano Family boss’ next project, Everybody Can’t Go. As such, there is no way that he will tolerate attacks on the beatmaker’s talents, or take them seriously.

“It’s gonna be a whole lotta this 1/26 lol That’s why EVERYBODY CANT GO is the perfect title,” Benny The Butcher wrote. Specifically, he included a screenshot of one fan who said an unnamed song would be disappointing based on a snippet because Hit-Boy produced it. When someone else pointed out that it’s The Alchemist (and the critic changed his mind), the other commenter asked why a song’s producer’s name determines whether it’s good or not if you already have an opinion on the beat “That’s the reason I call these fools nerds and say they’re opinions ain’t worth dog s**t.”

Benny The Butcher Defends Hit-Boy

Furthermore, another fan asked the Griselda affiliate to not work with Hit-Boy’s beats and instead focus on his grimy sound. “This is where you wrong…” Benny The Butcher clapped back. “Real Benny fans wanna hear [fire] music…boom bap fans wanna hear wat u described…BURDEN OF PROOF…I kno cuz I’m Benny the butcher.” It seems like the fan was particularly heated that day, because they kept responding to these remarks from the rapper. “Nah Benny this ain’t it your fans opinions matter unless you wanna end up like the rest of these mainstream losers. Majority of your fans became fans when you dropped Plugs I Met. We wanna hear that s**t.”

“No they didn’t…” he retorted. “stop makin up stuff to fit your narrative… like it or not BOP with HIT did more for my career than anything solo I dropped before it gang… I kno cuz I’m Benny himself and look at the numbers & responses everyday. Stop mistaking your opinion for everyone else’s gang.” For more news and the latest updates on Benny The Butcher and Hit-Boy, check back in with HNHH.

Lil Durk Calls Out NBA YoungBoy Over His Address, YounBoy Clears Things Up

The ongoing NBA YoungBoy and Lil Durk beef may not be what most people have made it out to be. Recently, Gillie Da Kid went on his podcast, Million Dollaz Worth of Game, and talked about how he wanted to see both rappers become civil. How he wants to go about it, is seeing them perform at Gillie Fest. According to the clip from his show, provided by HipHopDX, Gillie said this. He goes, “If both of them could hit the stage in the same night, it could show the young’uns that that s*** ain’t that serious. The beef ain’t that serious. None of this drama is that serious.”

NBA said he was more than down to do it, even with his house arrest going on. “Get them to let me out this house and I hit that stage for ya.” However, somehow, some people seemed to think the beef was reinstated after Lil Durk said he was lying about his house address in an Instagram Story. But, due to NBA’s rules regarding his arrest, he is not able to give out his information. He explained this in an IG Story.

“Bro, my [probation officer] gotta approve you, it don’t work like that. You gon’ send my a** to jail.” Additionally, NBA captioned the video, saying, “I love tf out you help me bih @lildurk.” So, it seems all is well between them, but who knows at this point. Hopefully, all of this is true, as rap would be better with these two peaceful with one another.

What are your initial thoughts on NBA YoungBoy and Lil Durk’s recent back and forth on social media? Do you buy that this is all a ruse and it is just to get people talking? Swae Lee & iLoveMakonnen Go Back & Forth After Call-Out

iLoveMakonnen recently ruffled some feathers in the rap game by exposing artists in his DMs after collaborating with NBA YoungBoy. Moreover, he called out Swae Lee, Metro Boomin, and Post Malone for leaving him in the dust until this collab came around. In our original coverage of this post, we mentioned that the Rae Sremmurd member in particular left some comments under his indignant screenshots. However, shortly after, the “Tuesday” MC and singer responded to these with some additional thoughts and concessions. While it doesn’t seem like there’s any real beef here, the alleged ghosting just left hard feelings in its wake.

“Bro I was saying that to you goofy not for any reason besides spreading love,” Swae Lee told iLoveMakonnen. “I’m good in the game. I knew you when you was throwing up on shrooms bro relax tf. I saw you on the TL heard the new jam and privately told you it was hard don’t be that guy. That’s funny though bro fr.” Then, Makonnen responded: “yes it was a beautiful garment and u stay booked busy and werkin it’s no denying. U have nice day, post the link if u like the album rollout. U should’ve been on outside but u was ignoring a n***a.”

iLoveMakonnen Responds To Swae Lee

“We can chop it up anytime you see me though,” Swae Lee wrote in another comment. “I don’t do the public drama s**t stay up.” “Well chop it up.” iLoveMakonnen replied. “It’s love it’s just a conversation. Dont be mad that the only way I get support is if some drama going on. U know the music fire, and u know everybody been tryna deny it. It ain’t no beef. U stay up too.”

Meanwhile, this unfortunately isn’t the first time that something similar has happened to Makonnen. Recently, he explained how his relationship with Drake soured over time. Even though it’s normal for connections to diminish over time in any relationship, it also doesn’t warrant complete ignorance or indignation. Hopefully they can make things up with a collaboration, or more importantly, some quality time as individuals. For more news and the latest updates on iLoveMakonnen and Swae Lee, log back into HNHH.
