Beyonce Shares “Renaissance” Film Trailer

Beyonce dropped the first trailer for the film in October. In that teaser, she discussed her goals while performing. “When I am performing, I am nothing but free,” she said at the time. “The goal for this tour was to create a place where everyone is free, and no one is judged. Unique. Start over, start fresh. Create the new. That’s what the renaissance is about. At any point, they could close their eyes and be right back there and take it with them.” That trailer also featured an appearance from JAY-Z. Beyoncé Balances Motherhood And Superstardom In Her ‘Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé’ Worldwide Trailer

Beyoncé is always one step ahead. International tickets for her Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé theatrical release are set to go on sale today, November 9, and she commenced the sale by releasing a brand-new worldwide trailer.

In the 98-second clip, the all-time-winningest artist at the Grammys describes how she stays winning, narrating “Welcome To The Renaissance” from her Renaissance World Tour, “I close my eyes and travel through realms of space and time. Reality holds no power or control of my state of mind on my voyage to find a source to charge my inner being. Assembly line frequency as I tap my MPC.”

Then, Beyoncé speaks more directly about the challenges she’s faced, saying, “In this world that is very male-dominated, I’ve had to be really tough. To balance motherhood and being on this stage, it just reminds me of who I really am.”

Presented by Parkwood Entertainment and AMC Entertainment, Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé is due in theaters on December 1. On October 26, The Hollywood Reporter exclusively reported that Beyoncé will hold the world premiere in London on November 30 and the US premiere on November 25 in Los Angeles.

Here’s The Meaning Behind Beyoncé’s Cé Noir Perfume Name

The Renaissance era continues. While Beyoncé concluded her critically-acclaimed Renaissance World Tour earlier this month, this particular chapter in the lore of Beyoncé isn’t over quite yet. This December, Beyoncé will premiere Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé, which will contain footage from the tour, and is also rumored to contain the long-awaited music videos for the Renaissance album.

But between now and then, Bey has unveiled a new fragrance called Cé Noir. She took to Instagram yesterday to share a video of herself unboxing a bottle of Cé Noir.

As the Renaissance album is a celebration of Black culture, it’s only fitting that the perfume is called Cé Noir, which is French for “this black” or “this blackness.” It’s also likely that she added the accent mark on the “e” of “ce” as an allusion to her name.

In the video, she said the perfume took “years of work” to come together, and noted that she has worn it during performances on the Renaissance World Tour.

“I wanted something to be monolithic and I wanted something to have a little bit of intimacy,” said Beyoncé.

Fans can pre-order Cé Noir from Beyoncé’s official website. The perfume will begin shipping in November.

Here’s Where Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance’ Movie Will Be Premiered

Beyoncé is bringing her Renaissance Tour film to theaters this December, with an exclusive concert movie deal with AMC. Before it does, the pop star will be holding two special premieres for it.

The US premiere of Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé will take place in Los Angeles on November 25. Then, the European premiere will be held in London on November 30. Of course, locations for both have not been revealed.

Earlier this month, Taylor Swift held the premiere of her The Eras Tour concert film at AMC at The Grove in Los Angeles, where she selected fans and press to attend. Given both stars have massive deals and films connected to the theater chain and have just been longtime friends, Beyoncé made a surprise appearance to support.

Because of this, it’s possible hers would be held at the same spot.

From there, her movie will be available to watch for fans starting on December 1. As it is an international release, tickets for locations including Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, South America, and the Caribbean, will go on sale starting November 9. Tickets for North America are currently available. More information can be found here.

Will Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance’ Movie Be Available Globally?

Beyoncé attended Taylor Swift’s Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour movie premiere in Los Angeles on October 11. Sure, she was there to support Swift, but she might have also been there to scope out The Grove as a potential site for her Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé premiere.

This morning (October 26), The Hollywood Reporter exclusively shared that Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé will enjoy a US premiere in Los Angeles on November 25 and a world premiere in London on November 30.

“The events will take place days before Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment and AMC Entertainment debut the film in theaters on December 1,” THR relayed. “Tickets for international territories — including Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, South America and the Caribbean — will go on sale November 9 at BeyonceFilm.com.

The December 1 theatrical release is limited to North America, but as evidenced by the aforementioned report, global dates will follow. Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour began in Stockholm, Sweden on May 10 and wrapped in Kansas City, Missouri on October 1.

She announced her Renaissance concert film on October 2 with a two-minute trailer. The video starts with Beyoncé stretching backstage with her daughter-turned-backup-dancer, Blue Ivy, and spending time with her twins, Rumi and Sir. She says, “When I am performing, I am nothing but free. The goal for this tour was to create a place where everyone is free, and no one is judged.”

Beyonce’s “Church Girl” Was Originally Meant For Jay-Z, According To No I.D.

Last year Beyonce dropped Renaissance, the massively successful and even more massively acclaimed dance album. Consequently, she’s spent most of this year on tour for the album playing a series of arena shows. Those shows were a big attractor for celebrities all summer as everyone watched Bey’s performance and fashion evolve throughout the tour. Now, the Renaissance tour is officially wrapped up and news about it has trickled since the announcement of a concert film coming later this year.

Now, a new piece of information about the album itself is emerging. No I.D. recently say down with Stereogum to talk about the dozens of tracks he’s produced for some of the biggest stars in the world. He tells the story of creating the instrumental for Beyonce’s Renaissance track “Church Girl.” That included clarifying that originally it wasn’t meant for Bey at all. “I was at [Jay-Z’s] house one day, and I had some equipment with me, and I just started making a beat. And he was rapping to it. It was for him. And he just put it on the computer. I never thought about it again. I literally forgot about it,” he begins. But much later on he gets a call explaining that Bey had an idea for the instrumental, and the rest is history. Check out the full interview below.

The Beyonce Beat Originally Made For Jay-Z

Beyonce has kept somewhat quiet since then end of the Renaissance tour. She popped up for a surprise appearance last week when she attended the premiere of Taylor Swift’s concert film. Bey and Taylor had quietly been competing all summer on their respective tours but they made sure to show it was all love. Subsequently, Taylor’s “Eras Tour” film was a massive box office success breaking records in its first weekend.

The Renaissance tour film will arrive in a few months. Accordingly, it’s set to his screens across the country on December 1. What do you think of the instrumental for “Church Girl” originally being made for Jay-Z? Let us know in the comment section below.

Beyoncé’s ‘Church Girl’ Beat Was Originally Made For This Rapper

Beyoncé’s recording-breaking album Renaissance was a glowing tribute to the “Cuff It” singer’s late Uncle Jonny, the LGTBQ community, and the Black musical pioneers. Across the body of work, Beyoncé sampled a wide range of musicians, including Donna Summer, Robin S, Teena Marie, and Kelis. One of the most-discussed uses of a classic song came from her track “Church Girl,” which pulled from The Clark Sisters’ 1981 record “Center Of Thy Will.”

However, Beyoncé’s “Church Girl” beat was originally made for someone else. So, who was the instrumental initially intended for? According to the song’s co-producer, No ID, he crafted the beat for his longtime collaborator, Jay-Z. During an interview with Al Shipley for Stereogum, the musician confessed that Beyoncé playfully jacked the beat from her husband.

“I was at [Jay-Z’s] house one day, and I had some equipment with me, and I just started making a beat. And he was rapping to it. It was for him. And he just put it on the computer. I never thought about it again. I literally forgot about it. And then, one day, I just got a call. When you get two to three calls from people in a row, you know it’s something,” said No ID.

He added, “‘Hey, do you have this idea? Beyonce got somethin’ to it. And Jay jokingly tells me, ‘Man, she stole my beat.’ She was like, ‘Remember that idea in the computer that you didn’t finish?”’ And I went to see [Beyoncé], talked about the record, and listened to her album.”

Beyoncé Fans Shared Their Predictions For The Opening Scene In Her Upcoming ‘Renaissance’ Concert Film

Beyoncé recently announced that she will be releasing a concert film of her recent tour, titled Renaissance: A Film By Beyoncé, later this year. While it won’t arrive in theaters until December 1, the fans already have some theories about its format.

Specifically, the Beyhive has sparked an internet discussion over what the opening scene will be. This started after Parkwood, the star’s company, asked for early predictions on Twitter.

Some took the time to share serious thoughts about what they would hope to see. “Yes it starts off with Bey expressing her gratitude being back on the stage and how much she misses the BeyHive then it fades black with the opening credits and in the background, ‘Ladies and gentlemen… Beyoncé,’” one user wrote.

“Some clips from her childhood expanding into her life now as a mother to her kids & to the entire world,” another added. “Her after the last day of filming, then rewinds back to how the concept of the album/tour started.”

Meanwhile, others had jokes about waiting for the album’s visuals. “It will flash ‘YOU ARE THE VISUALS,’” someone else chimed in on Parkwood’s post.
