Beyoncé Was Emotional After Breaking The Record For The Most Grammy Award Wins Of All Time
Beyoncé entered the 2023 Grammys today (February 5) already a winner. She’s the most-nominated artist of the night with nine total nods. That put her at 88 total nominations, which tied husband Jay-Z for the most in Grammy history. This made it possible for her to break the all-time record for the most total Grammy wins tonight. The record was 31 career wins, and now, the Grammy Awards have a new all-time champ: With Renaissance winning the Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Music Album, Beyoncé officially earned her 32nd Grammy Award and broke the record.

While announcing the winner, host Trevor Noah made it clear that history had been made. After declaring Renaissance the victor, Beyoncé took the stage for an acceptance speech. She was clearly moved by the moment, as she took a few seconds to collect herself as she stood behind the mic with her record-breaking trophy in hand.
She started, “I want to thank God for protecting me. Thank you, God.” As she continued to speak and thank important people in her life, she appeared to be on the verge of tears as she experienced one of the biggest moments of her career/life.

Beyoncé Ties Record For Most Wins In Grammys History
Beyoncé has officially tied for the most wins in Grammys history after her success at the awards ceremony on Sunday night. Her track “Cuff It” notched her a win for Best R&B Song, while “Break My Soul” helped her win Best Dance/Electronic Recording. Additionally, she won Best Traditional R&B Performance with “Plastic Off the Sofa.”
Despite the historic performance, Beyoncé was unable to accept the awards in person. She was reportedly 45 minutes late to the ceremony while stuck in L.A. traffic. “Beyoncé is on her way. The upside of hosting the Grammys in L.A. is that everyone can be here. The downside of hosting the Grammys in L.A. is the traffic,” host Trevor Noah joked. “Beyoncé is on her way.”
With 31 total Grammy wins, Beyoncé is now tied with conductor Georg Solti. Additionally, she and her husband, JAY-Z, both share the record for the most nominations ever with 88 each. All-in-all, Beyoncé received nominations in nine categories at this year’s Grammy Awards. She is also up for Record of the Year (“Break My Soul”), Album of the Year (Renaissance), Song of the Year (“Break My Soul”), and Best Dance/Electronic Music Album (Renaissance). Elsewhere in the night, Viola Davis achieved EGOT status for her work on the audiobook for her memoir, Finding Me. Kendrick Lamar also took home several awards.
Beyoncé released Renaissance back in July 2022, over six years following her previous solo studio album, Lemonade. The album featured collaborations with Nova Wav, The-Dream, Symbolyc One, A. G. Cook, Honey Dijon, Beam, Tricky Stewart, BloodPop, Skrillex, Hit-Boy, No I.D., and more. It debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, with 332,000 album-equivalent units.
Later this year, Beyoncé will be embarking on her “Renaissance World Tour 2023.” For the shows, she’ll be stopping in Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Washington D.C., and many more cities across the globe. Revisit Beyoncé’s “Break My Soul” below.

Beyoncé Updates A Twista Classic With Her Sexy New ‘Cuff It’ Remix
Beyoncé continues to keep the Beyhive fed. On top of finally announcing the tour dates for her upcoming Renaissance World Tour, she has shared an updated version of a fan-favorite from her Renaissance album.
Today (February 3), Bey dropped a sexy remix of “Cuff It,” which takes the vocals from the original album version, and mashes them up with the instrumental of a raunchy rap classic. On the “Cuff It (Wetter Remix),” Bey sings the song over the instrumental of Twista’s 2009 hit, “Wetter.”
Additionally, she updates the song, with a new opening verse.
As the song begins, Bey sings, “Baby make it rain / Don’t let go till it storms again / I pray this will never end.” Throughout the song, fans can hear new ad-libs and runs over the seductive, guitar-driven beat.
On the bridge, she sings, “I can see the love in your eyes / Boy I know you wanna squeeze it, don’t lie / Double tap when I walk by, f*ck a reply,” in addition to several NSFW ocean-inspired metaphors.
Bey has not said anything regarding the song’s release, however, Twista shared a message via Twitter with a link to the remix, saying, Happy Friday,” followed by three flame emojis.

How Much Are Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance Tour’ Tickets?
It’s hard to believe, but it’s only been two days since Beyoncé officially announced the dates for her global Renaissance Tour this year.
The shows, in support of her 2021 album, will kick off in Stockholm, Sweden in May. She will then continue around Europe before making her way back to North America in the summer.
However, given Ticketmaster making serious headlines after Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour debacle and A-List pop stars commonly being associated with skyrocketed pricing on the tickets, members of the Beyhive are likely wondering how much attending will set them back.
According to National World (and Twitter users), Beyoncé’s ticket prices for the London show are reportedly the following (USD equivalent) and expected to be in a similar range. However, dynamic pricing on Ticketmaster and other fees could increase it depending on implementation.

Beyoncé’s ‘Renaissance’ Tour Announcement Led To Fans Rushing To Buy Her Shimmering Disco Ball Cowboy Hat
Beyonce is heading on a world tour in support of her latest album, last year’s Renaissance. This run is so important that the Senate Judiciary Committee issued a warning to Ticketmaster ahead of the pre-sale to make sure fans could acquire tickets without trouble.
But it’s also so important that an online shop had to shut down because of too many sales. According to TMZ, Abby Misbin, or “Trending By Abby” on Etsy, made so many sales because of the disco ball cowboy hat she made for Beyonce in June after her stylist reached out to her. She usually got 5 to 6 sales a week, but after the announcement of the Renaissance Tour, she made 60 in a day. Because they’re handmade, she can only make two a day. They cost $140.
As for how to scoop up tickets, Ticketmaster recently explained, “Demand for this tour is expected to be high. If there is more demand than there are tickets available, a lottery-style selection process will determine which registered Verified Fans get a unique access code and which are placed on the waitlist. A Verified Fan access code does not guarantee tickets, it just gives you access to join the sale. All tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis. If tickets remain, the lottery-style process will be used to invite more Verified Fans from the waitlist to join the sale.”

Joe Budden Suggests Beyoncé Fans Thought “Renaissance” Was “Mid”
It’s an album that has prompted a highly-anticipated worldwide tour, but Joe Budden claims Beyoncé fans think Renaissance is “mid.” The Hip Hop commentator cracked a few jokes about Drake fans having to “get low” or duck out of sight because he released a “mid” album. During the conversation, he quipped that Bey’s fans know what it’s like because they felt the same way about Renaissance.
“Do you know how tough it was for us Drake fans to go get low for a few months,” Budden said in the clip. “If you don’t, you can just ask the Beyoncé fans right now. Maybe y’all don’t see when the fans collectively go get low, but I do. One of the best in the world, we can’t pop our sh*t, ’cause y’all tellin’ us it’s mid at every turn. Every week, n*ggas asking, ‘Oh, you heard some of that sh*t outside? ‘Cause I haven’t!’ That sh*t was like a stab in the heart.”

Renaissance is Beyoncé’s first solo album since 2016’s Lemonade. It arrived with an epic rollout and dominated the charts—and nightclubs—across the globe. Beyoncé, her team, and her hitmaking collaborators were praised for interpolating Black house, techno, electronic, and dance artists who helped pioneer the genres but were often overlooked. It wasn’t the quintessential R&B-Pop record that people expected, but her core fanbase seemed to understand the message.
The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and this weekend, we’ll learn if it takes home the title at the Grammys. Renaissance is nominated for Album of the Year and Best Dance Electronic Album. These accolades don’t seem lost on Budden, who hopped into The Neighborhood Talk’s comment section to clarify. They shared the clip of his comments on Renaissance, and Instagram users quickly called him out.

“I loved B’s album, if y’all comprehension is off just say that,” Budden wrote. Still, the internet is unrelenting, and the BeyHive is fiercely protective. Check out a few reactions below.
