Amine Buys Nearly $3 Million Home In The Hollywood Hills

Amine reps his city as much as anybody. In his lyrics, song titles, and music videos he’s always talking about the city of Portland. That’s why some recent news about him buying a new home is surprising rap fans. That’s because the home he purchased isn’t in Portland at all, but the Hollywood Hills. According to XXL, he’s nabbed a 3,591 square-foot, three-bedroom, three-bathroom residence in Los Angeles. They also shared some pictures of the stunning residence, check out the full set of photos below.

Amine’s most recent musical effort was a collaboration. He teamed up with producer Kaytranada for a fittingly titled crossover album called Kaytramine last year. In addition to the two talented artists at its core, the album also featured appearances from Freddie Gibbs, Big Sean, Amaarae, Snoop Dogg, and Pharrell. The album spawned hits and fan favorites like “4EVA,” “Rebuke,” and “Sossaup.” The pair played a special five-show summer tour last year to celebrate the release of the album. The tour included dates in both Amine’s native Portland and Los Angeles.

Amine Buys Himself A New Home

Earlier this year, Amine teamed up with RiTchie from Injury Reserve. He’s hearing up to drop his first solo album later this year and has teased it with a series of singles including “Dizzy” which also features a verse from the Portland-rapper. The two have collaborated numerous times before on songs like the single “Campfire” and the Limbo deep cut “Fetus. Amine lent a memorable guest verse to the car-themed banger “Jailbreak The Tesla” from Injury Reserve’s 2019 self-titled album.

Amine’s last solo project was his TWOPOINTFIVE mixtape project in 2021. It served as the sequel to 2018’s ONEPOINTFIVE. Both projects served as shorter splashes of material in the gap between bigger and more substantial solo releases from the rapper. What do you think of Amine’s new house in the Hollywood Hills? NBA YoungBoy’s Utah Mansion Can Be Yours For $5.5 Million

Spending his early 20s on house arrest in Utah hasn’t been easy for NBA YoungBoy, but on the bright side, it’s given him the time and energy to pour into his near-constant music releases. So far in 2024 he’s shown off his skills on singles like “Steppa,” “No Time,” “Closed Case,” “F**k Ni**as,” and “Nose Ring,” and that only covers what we’ve heard from the controversial rapper in February. Besides his bars, YB is also in the news as he reportedly seeks to sell his 8,000-square-foot mansion that provides incredible views of Salt Lake Valley, the Oquirrh Mountains, and the city’s Downtown area.

As Building Salt Lake reports, the four-bedroom, four-bathroom property was listed on Monday (February 26) for $5.5 million. “Designed to blur the lines between indoor and outdoor living, every corner of this home is flooded with natural light, creating an ambiance of serenity and tranquility,” a description beneath the new listing reads. The home was first built in 1999 but has since gone through substantial renovations, now boasting a heated driveway and a five-car garage to keep your whips safe and sound.

NBA Youngboy Is Craving Change Ahead of Spring

“Enjoy resort-style living with a sparkling pool, perfect for lounging on warm summer days or hosting elegant gatherings against the backdrop of the mesmerizing scenery. Experience the epitome of contemporary elegance in this exceptional property, where every detail has been meticulously curated for the discerning homeowner,” realtors further promoted the 24-year-old’s home. He’s set to sit for trial this coming summer, so it’ll be interesting to see where he chooses to shack up with his large family for the time being if his mansion sells quickly.

While NBA YoungBoy keeps his sights set on the future and preparing for his long-awaited trial, one of his children’s mothers has been making headlines for faking her own kidnapping story during a juicy Instagram Live session. Arcola has since confirmed that the entire situation was nothing more than a prank, though not everyone is impressed with her laughing off such a sensitive topic. Read more about that at the link below, and let us know if you’d like to take over YB’s Gravedigger Mountain in the comments.

Kanye West Selling Near-Gutted Malibu Home For $53M

Kanye West appears to be offloading some real estate as he prepares for the release of Vultures. According to Hollywood Reporter, the rapper is selling his Malibu mansion at a loss – a reflection of its near-gutted interior – with the help of Selling Sunset star Jason Oppenheim. Ye’s beach home, which he bought 2 years ago for $57 million, is currently on the market for $53.7 million. Pritzker Prize-winning Japanese architect Tadao Ando designed the beach house which boasts views of the Pacific Ocean from every room.

However, it seems as though Ye removed a significant amount of the interior, which will now require some work. “What’s missing are the interiors,” Oppenheimer told HR. He revealed that it would require several millions of dollars to redesign the inside of the home. “It’s priced to reflect the need for the interior finishes to be replaced. On the positive, it can be brought up to 2024 standards — it was built about 10 years ago.” Fortunately, the concrete design from Ando is intact. The home boasts a sprawling 4,000 square feet and uses 1200 tons of concrete, and 200 tons of steel reinforcement, along with 12 large pylons burrowed 60 feet deep into the sand.

Kanye Gears Up For Vultures Release

In other news, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign appear to have set a release date for their forthcoming album, Vultures. The album is due out on December 31st, although considering Kanye’s track record, that’s subject to change. Over the past few weeks, Ye has heavily hinted at the project’s release, culminating in a few listening parties. Although fans expected the project to drop on Friday (Dec. 15th), Kanye failed to deliver. This happened even after hosting another listening party on Friday that got shut down.

However, during the Miami Vultures rave, Ye brought out a slew of guests who appeared on the project. So far, we know that Offset, Lil Durk, Bump J, Freddie Gibbs, and his daughter, North West contributed to the album. He also previewed a new version of Kanye & Nicki Minaj’s “New Body.” Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like it will make the final cut. Regardless, it seems as though Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign aim to close out 2023 on a high.

Kanye West & Real Estate Agent Dine In Dubai

Kanye West is still in Dubai, and a recent dinner prompted speculation that he might want to purchase a property there. Moreover, he chopped it up over some food with real estate agent Marcel Remus, and the two appeared in a couple of snaps that surfaced online. While the details or nature of this conversation weren’t publicized, there are a couple of different considerations that could inform this meeting. One is that the Chicago rapper is interested in acquiring more real estate, whether that’s in the United Arab Emirates or in other parts of the world. It doesn’t have to be for him, either; he could be figuring out a way to get some other form of permit, ownership, or lease.

Of course, this last possibility points towards an infamous part of Kanye West’s past few years– which is saying a lot. Furthermore, he tried to organize concerts a couple of times already this year, if every single report about it is accurate. However, these efforts dodged Ye at every turn, despite the alleged proximity of his collab album with Ty Dolla $ign and his own solo work. Even though the hate train has died down a bit, he still has a lot to answer and atone for if he is to fully return to the public’s good graces.

Kanye West Enjoys Dubai Dinner With Real Estate Agent

As such, Kanye West’s low-profile stay in Dubai, as well as his international travels over the past year or so, came as no surprise. After all, it’s got to be more private and easy to avoid paparazzi and hecklers overseas… even if they find you anyway. Regardless, he probably got has bigger things on his mind, such as his relationship with his wife Bianca Censori. Apparently, the two recently went through a rough patch, but the 46-year-old and the architect are moving past that.

Meanwhile, his new song “Vultures” got him in more hot water for its references to Jewish women. It seems like this is an inescapable reality in this narrative, which is disheartening to see. Hopefully Ye keeps laying low, especially if he’s just going to keep fanning the flames of his controversies. For more news and the latest updates on Kanye West, stick around on HNHH.

DJ Envy And Cesar Pena Sued For $2 Million Over Alleged Real Estate Scam

DJ Envy and Caesar Pena are facing down even more trouble from their real estate dealings. Across the past few months, stories have emerged from dozens of alleged victims claiming that Pena’s real estate ventures are a scam designed to take money from those who sign up. Envy and Pena have been associated for years often appearing at public speaking events together. As a result, the hip-hop world at large reacted to Envy’s association with something accused of being a scam.

Now, both Envy and Pena are cited in a new civil court lawsuit in New Jersey. According to AllHipHop, three different plaintiffs including a real estate venture and development group filed the suit earlier this month. In it, they claim that the series of “Flipping New Jersey” real estate seminars served as “funnels to draw in victims” for the alleged scam. They’re claiming break of contract, negligent misrepresentation, and a variety of different kinds of fraud which constitute a civil RICO violation. They’re asking for $2 million minimum and to have a jury trial in the case. Check out the full story below.

DJ Envy Names In New Real Estate Lawsuit

“During these private consultations and meet and greets, members of the Pina network attempted to ‘size up’ the financial resources of each attendee and solicited individuals with sufficiently high net worth to “partner” with Pina, DJ Envy, and other members of the network in real estate ‘joint ventures,’” legal documents from the filing allege.

Subsequently, the suit claims, that potential investors would be offered the chance to meet with Pena 1-on-1. The meetings would allegedly cost between $1500 and $2500. If they were sufficiently interested in potentially investing then things would move forward from there. The suit also claims that the inevitable goal of their real estate venture was to take money from investors. Fabolous Recalls DJ Envy Calling Him With Real Estate Opportunity

Fabolous is an artist who has been extremely successful over the years. Although as someone with money, there are those who seek some of that green. Recently, it was revealed that DJ Envy had actually called Fab about potentially investing in real estate. However, as we know now, the real estate investments that Envy was touting weren’t too great. Instead, his business partner Cesar Pina has been arrested on wire fraud charges. Furthermore, some are accusing Envy of being the catalyst for a lot of Pina’s success.

That said, those who were approached by Envy, are now speaking out. For instance, Jeremy Hecht of HipHopDX recently spoke to Fab and asked him about the call with Envy. In the video below, you can see how that conversation went down. In Fab’s mind, he never thought it was a scam or some sort of fraud scheme. Instead, it was just someone presenting an opportunity. Regardless, Fabolous was never all that interested.

Fabolous Speaks

“He was tellin’ me about some real estate stuff,” Fabolous recalled. “I’m just a guy that gotta see things through a little bit more. I don’t just get hyped at … y’know, it be a lotta ‘get money’ — I don’t want to call it a scam or a scheme — but a lotta ‘get money’ ideas that come to you, so I just gotta see ’em through. So even with that phone call, I was like, ‘Aight,’ but I wasn’t like, ‘Sign me up, [who] do I give my money to?’ Y’know what I mean, and I didn’t really hear back from [him].”

As we know by now, Joe Budden was also approached. However, he immediately told Envy he would go to jail for this scheme. Let us know what you think of the DJ Envy situation, in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. Angela Yee Questioned DJ Envy About Real Estate Business In Resurfaced Video

DJ Envy’s major real estate scam has become the story that everyone can’t stop talking about. The Breakfast Club co-host was first swept up in the scandal by some crafty local news reporting last month. But at the time it was unclear what his level of involvement was. Now, it’s become a lot clearer that Envy knew more than he was willing to admit to.

Amid DJ Envy being increasingly named in various lawsuits related to real estate fraud scams, dozens of celebs have spoken out against him. Rick Ross led the way when he and Funk Flex lit into the host. They took aim directly at his shady dealings last month and it hasn’t relented since. It was first addressed on The Breakfast Club earlier this month and that’s when things really started to spiral out of control. One of his primary associates was hit with a fraud charge shortly after. Rumors have swirled about an apparent raid on Envy’s iHeartRadio office and The Breakfast Club even looking for a potential new host. Amid the revelations, fans have been pouring through old clips looking for details that look very different with the newfound context. Check out one of those clips below.

Angela Yee Pressures DJ Envy On Real Estate Scheme

In the clip, DJ Envy explains how he’s trying to give back to the community and educate people. While those comments haven’t aged very well, Angela Yee’s response has. She continually questions him on some of the details with an air of suspicion that seems more than justified in retrospect. It isn’t the only video that fans have been re-examining in the wake of recent news.

There’s another unfortunate clip that fans recently dug up. In that video, Envy offers a free chain to those who would sign up and eventually become victims of the scheme. What do you think of the newly resurfaced video of Angela Yee questioning DJ Envy about his real estate dealings? Let us know in the comment section below.

DJ Envy To Cooperate In Cesar Pina Case, Attorney Calls Radio Host A “Victim”

DJ Envy is currently being investigated as part of the arrest of Cesar Pina. For those who don’t know, Pina stands accused of running a real estate scheme. Overall, it is alleged that Pina committed wire fraud and stole money from investors. Envy was Pina’s business partner and the two could be seen in various videos together. However, Envy has maintained his innocence this whole time. In fact, he believes he is a victim in all of this as Pina made off with his money, as well.

This belief was recently corroborated by Envy’s lawyer, Massimo D’Angelo. While speaking to XXL, D’Angelo explained that Envy believes he is a victim. Furthermore, he intends to cooperate completely with the investigation. “DJ Envy is a victim of the purported fraudulent real estate scheme and sits in the same shoes of the other victims, and, of course, he will assist and cooperate to get his investment back, along with those of the other alleged victims,” D’Angelo said to XXL.

DJ Envy Maintains Innocence

Overall, this statement by D’Angelo is very much in line with everything else that Envy has said in the past. For instance, Envy was on The Breakfast Club where he said all he wanted to do was “uplift” his community. Although his legal representation has told him to stay quiet on all of this, he does seem eager to clear his name. Given his connections to Pina, and the public videos of the two together, a lot of damage has already been done in the public eye.

This is still a developing story with plenty of moving parts. Having said that, be sure to stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. We will always be sure to keep you informed. Additionally, let us know what you think of all this, in the comments below.

DJ Envy Trolled By Fans For Offering Free Chain In Resurfaced Real Estate Investment Clip

DJ Envy is coming under fire on social media for a resurfaced video in which he and his longtime business partner, Cesar Pina, offer a free chain to those who attend a financial advice seminar in Atlantic City. The social media trolling comes after Pina was arrested for wire fraud amid accusations that he de-frauded would-be investors with an alleged real estate Ponzi scheme.

“DJ Envy and his co-defendants were giving their victims chains,” a tweet sharing the video reads. In the clip, Envy explains that he and Pina are “gonna be giving one lucky person one of these chains,” at the event. He continues: “Now, these chains are serious. Whoever we give these chains to, in our camp, or our friends, they own properties and they invest. So, we’re gonna be giving one lucky person one of these chains.”

Pina was arrested by federal agents over the weekend. According to court documents obtained by ABC 7, “Pina and his business partner, a well-known disc jockey and radio personality, operated a company that conducted real estate seminars around the country. Together, they used [DJ Envy’s] celebrity to promote various real estate enterprises that Pina controlled.” Lawyer Alexander Schachtel added: “He also very aggressively and vocally promoted Mr. Pina as his business partner on social media.” Pina has pleaded not guilty and is out on a $1 million bond.

DJ Envy’s Offer

Envy has denied his involvement in the alleged Ponzi scheme. His attorney, Massimo F. D’Angelo, told Billboard in an interview, last week: “Envy had no involvement whatsoever. The only reason he’s being dragged into this is because he’s a public figure.” Be on the lookout for further updates on the case against Cesar Pina on HotNewHipHop.

Funk Flex Implicates Charlamagne Tha God In DJ Envy Real Estate Scheme

DJ Envy is certainly feeling the heat from the feds right now as they continue to investigate his involvement in a messy real estate fraud scheme. The media personality maintains his innocence there, but that hasn’t stopped his contemporaries from laying into him. Most notably, Funk Flex has had his foot on Envy’s neck non-stop as updates on the investigation continue to come out. As Akademiks pointed out in his coverage, the beef is reminiscent of previous spats between Hot 97 and Power 105.1 in the 2010s.

“Imma tell you the question of the day, of the week, of the month,” Flex told listeners earlier this week. “Mr. Real Estate RICO. Did you know that Ceasar was a crook? Or were you too d*mb to know that he was a crook?” Much to people’s amusement, the 55-year-old added bomb sound effects after virtually every statement for dramatic effect.

“Either way, you don’t win,” Flex put Envy on blast for his ignorance. “According to a lot of label people – let me tell you something New York – there’s three people involved. There’s Real Estate RICO, and there’s Lesser Charge Leonard, the pedophile,” he added, seemingly looping Charlamagne Tha God into the situation. “Then you got Ceaser, who was arrested last night by the feds,” Funk further antagonized his nemesis, who’s still waiting to find out what lays in store for his future.

Despite warnings from those around him, DJ Envy still failed to see the red flags in his recent real estate endeavours. As it turns out, Joe Budden once suggested to The Breakfast Club host that he could end up in jail for his actions – caution Envy clearly didn’t take seriously.
