Quavo Pops Out At Usher’s Show With Rumored New Boo

For those not caught up on the rumor mill, Quavo and Lori Harvey recently shut down rumors that they were seeing each other. Moreover, it seems like this came at a pretty convenient but also possibly messy time, because it seems like the former Migo just debuted a new relationship. Recently, he went to one of Usher’s shows with gymnast Erica Fontaine. “I hope you don’t mind if I serenade your lady real quick,” the singer told the Georgia rapper as he approached them in the crowd. While this is still just sheer speculation at the end of the day, it’s also a slightly stronger suggestion of a pairing than whatever got people thinking he and Lori Harvey had something going on.

Of course, this is also notable because of all the serenades that Usher offered to famous women recently. The most notable instance was Keke Palmer getting blasted by her boyfriend Darius Jackson for it, which went down a bit over a week ago. The latest famous female to fall under the R&B star’s spell was Kash Doll. Even though it’s unclear how much this applies to Quavo’s situation, as it’s just a rumor, it’s still at least fun to see the Confessions icon cheekily play into that, even if he might not care what results from it.

Regardless, Quavo has much bigger fish to fry ahead of the release of his next studio album, Rocket Power. Furthermore, he recently released the single “Turn Yo Clic Up” with Future, which caused its own online ruckus due to Fewtch’s lyrics. In addition, through messages to his late rap partner, it’s clear that this whole album and rollout is a tribute to Takeoff’s life and legacy. “Think About You All The Time I’ll Never Forget About You!!!,” the 32-year-old recently expressed on his Instagram Story. “I Miss U So Much And No One Will Take Yo Spot Twin U My Left Hand [left hand emoji] Come On Now!!! OTHERSIDE BOYS.”

Meanwhile, he also recently made up with his fellow former Migo Offset, as they reunited for a performance honoring Take. Considering all the speculated beef that they had and the group’s breakup, this was a very heartening moment for fans. After a lot of pain, struggle, and contention, hopefully this upward trajectory continues for all involved, whether in music, family, or love. Future Seemingly Wants To Revive His Feud With Russell Wilson On Quavo’s ‘Turn Yo Clic Up’

Future and Quavo reignited their creative chemistry on Quavo’s new single “Turn Yo Clic Up,” but that isn’t the only thing being revived. It seems Future’s been carrying a torch for Russell Wilson all this time, and he drops a couple of lines on the song that has fans believing he’s stoking the flames of his one-sided rivalry with his ex-flame Ciara‘s current husband.

In his verse, Future throws out the line, “Big dawg status, bill hopper / I ball in his mall for my brothers / Goyard bag, tote the cutter / I got it out the field, fuck Russell.” The punchline plays on rappers referencing “the field” — i.e. “the streets,” “the mud,” “the trap” — with Wilson’s occupation as quarterback for the NFL’s Denver Broncos. Here’s the track:

Future has seemingly long resented Wilson; after splitting up with Future, with whom she shares one child, in 2014, Ciara moved on with Russell Wilson in 2016. They were married in July of that year, and ever since, it seems Future can’t seem to help throwing petty shots at Wilson, despite co-parenting with Ciara. In 2019, he accused Wilson of “not being a man in that position,” after Ciara responded to him naming her in his song “My Collection. (Seems like she’d stop talking about him if he’d stop talking about her, though. Also, he was the one who allegedly blew it, so he’s kind of throwing stones from a glass house.)

Russell has, thus far, shrugged off Future’s antics — which could all just be pantomime for fans of his “toxic” persona, anyway.

Quavo And Future Demand Listeners ‘Turn Yo Clic Up’ On Their Brash New Single

Quavo’s solo album, Rocket Power, is getting closer and closer to release, and today, the Atlanta rapper shared the next single from it, “Turn Yo Clic Up” featuring fellow ATLien Future. The two rappers have collaborated numerous times in the past on tracks like “Picasso” and “Snitching” and maintain that chemistry here. The song consists of a beat by producers Atake, Basobeats, Macshooter49, and Sluzyyy, with rapid-fire verses from Quavo and Future encompassing shopping sprees, splitting up money with their boys, and the various tools they keep around to deal with their enemies.

Rocket Power will be Quavo’s second solo album and will arrive nearly five years from his 2018 debut, Quavo Huncho. Since that album’s release, Quavo dropped two collaborative projects with his bandmates in Migos: Culture III, the fourth Migos studio album, and Only Built For Infinity Links with the Takeoff. The latter came after a falling out with third Migos member Offset; however, Takeoff’s death has seemingly reunited the remaining members of the trio, who came together to perform a tribute to Takeoff at the recent BET Awards. While that doesn’t mean they’re planning on recording and releasing music together again anytime soon, Offset said the performance “cleared my soul.”

Prior to “Turn Yo Clic Up,” Quavo released the singles “Greatness” and “Honey Bun.” Rocket Power does not have a release date yet. Listen to “Turn Yo Clic Up” above.

Lori Harvey Reportedly Went For Lunch With Quavo

Get the mill ready, because some new rumors are floating around based on just a couple of paparazzi pictures from Backgrid. Moreover, apparently photographers spotted Quavo and Lori Harvey leaving lunch together, and this report sent some fans into a frenzy. Still, rightfully so, others weren’t so quick to jump on the bandwagon, considering that Harvey (as of writing this article and within public knowledge) is still with Damson Idris. Regardless, paparazzi reportedly took a picture of the model leaving West Hollywood restaurant minutes before the former Migo did, and claimed that they went together. While some pointed to the fact that she and Idris haven’t posted up in some time, others pointed out that they could’ve met at Michael Rubin’s 4th of July party.

As such, many wondered why this couldn’t just be a quick bite to eat between two friends, and why it always has to be a fling scandal. That being said, For Harvey is in one boat, whereas Quavo recently went through a lot of rumors like these, so it’s understandable. Furthermore, the Georgia MC’s most recent lunch outing before this one was with Chlöe, which also got fans speculating on what was already heavy gossip. Unfortunately for hopefuls, the singer and actress shut these rumors down- somewhat.

After all, they were on Complex‘s “GOAT Talk” series, where they spoke about their favorite rapper and some differing dating advice. On her end, the Parkwood artist said that the best thing in a relationship is to just “be yourself.” On the wildly different other hand, Quavo said “Don’t trust these h*es,” and Chlöe’s taken-aback reaction prompted him to clarify that he was only joking. Also, they even spoke about maybe going to a strip club in Atlanta together, which seemed quite forward but also comical.

Meanwhile, just over a month ago, Harvey and Damson Idris shared some snaps from their time in London, so it seems like things are still all good. Even though a lack of posts or updates can give fans the wrong impression, an even worse impression to get is that of a simple lunch outing.
