Q Da Fool Returns With New Album “King George”

Maryland-based rapper Q Da Fool dropped a new album, called King George. The title references his real name, George J. Hundall III, but also represents how he feels about his abilities. The former Roc Nation signee left the label in 2021 after signing in 2018 and only releasing one album with them. Since leaving, Q Da Fool has released 2-3 albums per year, so the fact that King George is his first new release of 2024 at this point in the year is surprising. King George is 25 songs long and slightly over an hour in runtime. Additionally, the album features appearances from up-and-coming Michigan rapper Veeze, Bobson and Lil Mar.

Q Da Fool has had some legal issues in recent years. He served two years in prison, and after being released in early 2023, got arrested again for “inciting violence.” The charge stemmed from the release of a song that some interpreted as a diss track towards DC rapper Ant Glizzy. Since then, he’s been on probation, which he will be on for five years, as well as a seven-year suspended sentence. In a Rolling Stone profile ahead of the release of Art of Ambition, Q Da Fool was clear in his excitement about getting home and getting back to work. Since starting his career, Q Da Fool has built a strong fanbase early. Though he’s been releasing music since 2015, he is only 27 years old. He still has the chance to be a star one day, but only time will tell. Until then, stream King George below.

Q Da Fool Collabs With Veeze On “Pookie”, Announces New Album Dropping August 2nd

Maryland rapper Q Da Fool has had a rough go of it recently. For two years he was dealing with a prison sentence. Additionally, after coming home in late 2023, he would be arrested again for allegedly “inciting violence” after releasing a single and going on Instagram Live with it. However, he was able to bounce back in December and drop that project he was getting ready during that time called Art of Ambition. In an interview with Rolling Stone surrounding its release, Q Da Fool made it clear just how happy he was to be dropping music again. “As long as I’m putting out good music and grinding, I can’t complain”. Overall, that mentality has led Q Da Fool to dropping “Pookie”.

This is the latest release from him, with “Tarzan” being the most recent single during this prolific run in 2024. “Hey Auntie”, “Wanna Be Down”, “chopt”, as well as a feature for Daimo Dunkin are all other offerings from Q Da Fool during this stretch. Hopefully, the first three of the five, including “Pookie”, will all land on his next album. According to Dirty Glove Bastard, King George is the name of it and it will arrive on August 2. That is incredibly exciting news for all Q Da Fool fans, as he adds to an already stacked weekend release wise. Overall, we do not know a lot of the specifics of King George. What we can say is that Veeze will be on the project. He is the feature on “Pookie” and if you want to check out their collab, check the link below to give it a try.

Q Da Fool Has A Sticky Melody On “Bad To The Bone”

The state of Maryland possesses some solid rap talent. Normally, when you think of East Coast hip-hop, your brain immediately thinks of Florida, New York, maybe even Virginia. But, Q Da Fool is proudly putting the Free State on everyone’s radar. Life for him has seen its rough moments for sure, though. Earlier this year, Q was rumored to be involved with drug-related activities, according to Soul Sanctuary.

They say he was handcuffed “and subsequently convicted” on drug charges. “Specifics of the charges have not been disclosed publicly, but it is believed that his involvement in illicit drug trade led to his incarceration.” He was also dealing with issues back in 2021 as well, around the release of his project, Indicted. Even with the extensive problems, Q Da Fool has been dropping consistently this year.

Q Da Fool Comes Back To Drop Third Tape This Year With “Art Of Ambition”

If there is one thing that Q Da Fool prides himself on, it is his independence. The young and prolific rapper from Maryland is steadfast on this and Revolt TV furthers that. In their piece about his latest record, they mentioned these quotes from Q. “People gotta understand this ain’t no major label behind this.”

He continues, “I do everything myself. I put up the money myself. Me and my men, they helpin’ me, I got my team. It’s just us.” Sometimes that is more gratifying than having tons of labels and executives tell you what to do with your music. His latest record, Art of Ambition stays true to his word.
