Post Malone’s Alleged Abusive Text Messages Cause Singer To Take Legal Action Against Lawyers

Recent years have obviously seen Post Malone evolve from a wild party animal and beer-pong champion to more of a family man. The “Congratulations” hitmaker previously welcomed a daughter with his fiancee in 2022. Though he mostly keeps his personal life out of the spotlight, Post has made notable changes for himself that fans are noticing, allowing him to show up as a better father for his little one. Among those bold efforts include losing over 50 pounds, though this ultimately caused trolls to negatively comment on the new dad’s dramatic transformation too.

While he continues to focus his efforts on his other half and their growing girl, Post is now dealing with legal drama from a past relationship as well. As per Radar Online, a law firm called Martorell Law filed a lawsuit against the genre-bending artist and his ex, Ashlen Diaz, in March, after aiding the former in her quest for palimony support. According to the lawyers, the exes worked out a private deal, cutting out the firm’s guaranteed percentage. Because of this, Martorell has been threatening to leak “hard and detailed” evidence proving Posty’s role in “controlling” his ex’s decisions.

On Wednesday (November 8), the 28-year-old filed a motion requesting that the law firm’s latest motion be denied. According to his legal team, any other amendments, “including the ones threatened” this year are “pointless” and “dead on arrival.” From Malone’s perspective, it’s Diaz who should be feeling the legal heat, not him.

Post Malone’s ex isn’t the only person he’s encountered legal troubles with in 2022. As the summer ended, Kodak Black’s lawyer spoke out about the lawsuit his client received from the Stoney hitmaker, labelling it “idiotic.” Read more about that tense situation at the link below, and let us know if you want to read Posty’s alleged abusive texts to his former partner in the comments.

Post Malone Addressed Comments That Seemingly Indicated He Is Moving Out Of Utah

Back in 2017, Post Malone told Rolling Stone that he was getting ready to move to Utah. Since then, he’s been effusive about his love for the state and his home there, but recently, it looked like he indicated he’s moving on. Amid the confusion, though, Malone cleared things up himself.

As Salt Lake City’s FOX 13 notes, during an interview on The Howard Stern Show yesterday (October 17), Malone spoke about his multi-acre property in the Salt Lake area and said he wants “a little bit more” space, adding, “We’re going to expand the Jam Zone a little bit, I guess.”

Stern asked if Malone planned to buy more property around his current spot and Malone replied, “We’re going to go to another state. We have a plan for another state, and we have a plan for a bunker with a bowling alley and a car port and a swimming pool in it. I’m so excited. I’m so excited about it.”

Understandably, this had some people thinking that Malone was packing up and leaving Utah. Last night, those concerns apparently reached Malone himself, as he hopped on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “I’m not moving out of Utah y’all [hearts emoji] just getting some more land [face holding back tears emoji] I love living in this beautiful place.”

Check out some clips from Malone’s Howard Stern interview below.

Post Malone Thinks Taylor Swift Is ‘A F*cking Hell Of A Songwriter’ (And She Loves ‘Better Now’ Too)

Post Malone appeared for a new interview on The Howard Stern Show, during which he reflected on his experience meeting Taylor Swift years ago. The two were backstage at a show, and the pop star revealed she loved his music.

“We were just passing by and she was like, ‘Oh my God! Nice to see you,’” Malone shared. “‘Better Now is f*cking amazing!’”

There was also a video of the supposed moment at the time. “I’m so jealous of that song, that hook,” Swift can be heard saying.

The rapper then shared the rest of what he said to Swift: “I was like, ‘What? That’s f*cking crazy, you’re a great f*cking songwriter! Thank you so very much.’”

Malone also noted that the moment meant a ton to him. “There’s so many beautiful artists in the world and for another artist to acknowledge that is a really, really b*tching thing,” he said. “It’s a really special thing. That was a really cool moment and it was very inspiring.”

Since then, Malone and Swift have hung out again, as he described the pop star as “genuinely one of the most kind and considerate [people]” and “a f*cking hell of a songwriter,” according to Rolling Stone.

Noah Kahan Would Love To ‘Make Some Weird Sh*t’ With Post Malone And The Two Bonded Over ‘Walk Hard’

Noah Kahan recently did a new interview with Billboard, where he opened up about the success of his Stick Season (We’ll All Be Here Forever) album. Most interestingly, he spoke about his collaboration with Post Malone on “Dial Drunk” — and what the rapper was really like behind the scenes.

Kahan described their meeting as “exactly what I wanted an experience with Post Malone to be; he was sitting crossed-legged, drinking Bud Lights [and] smoking cigarettes.”

According to the publication, the two became close because they apparently both really love the movie Walk Hard.

Because of this, Kahan pointed out that “the hang is not over.”

“I would love to get in the room and write music with him [together from scratch],” he added. “What I love about [him] is he is so untethered by genre… I would love to make some weird sh*t.”

Over the past few months, Kahan has seen a surge in popularity after going viral on TikTok. While the album is his third, he made it during the pandemic and truly loved the result.

“There was a feeling in the studio of like, ‘Woah, this is something special,’” he described. “I felt so creatively in control… and I think, at the time, I couldn’t see that as a sign of success or relatability, it just felt so right for me that I was fine with whatever happened.”

Fans can check out Kahan’s collaboration with Post Malone here.

Post Malone Gave His Shoes, Right Off His Feet, To A Young Fan, Boosting The Theory He’s Just One Big Sweetheart

Post Malone is widely seen as a sweetheart. There are so many examples of his endearing personality that somehow a few particularly charming TikToks of him from August 14 flew relatively under the radar.

The TikTok user Nicole.Brach first posted a TikTok showing her doing the cliched prom pose with Malone, writing atop it, “POV: you drove 14 hours to meet Post Malone.” Next, she posted a young boy posing for a photo with Malone, who asks if he wants anything signed. Malone signs the boy’s green checkered Vans before taking off his own white Converse Chuck Taylor All Star sneakers, signing them, and giving them to the boy.

“WE GOT POSTYS SHOES AND HE SIGNED THEM! This man is the most selfless, genuine and kindest soul there is,” Nicole captioned the second TikTok.

One week later, Nicole posted to TikTok that she’d gotten Malone’s signature tattooed on her wrist.

According to the schedule from Posty’s recently wrapped If Y’all Weren’t Here, I’d Be Crying Tour, in support of his Austin album, the TikToks in question were likely from the meet-and-greet for his August 13 show in San Diego, California, but there is no confirmation as to where this took place. The North American trek ended on August 19 in San Bernardino, California.

The Future Of A Post Malone And Bob Dylan Collab Might Be In Doubt, Despite Malone Being ‘In Tears’ Over Dylan’s Contribution

Post Malone is a major Bob Dylan fan and there’s plenty of evidence of that. One of the most-circulated online videos of pre-fame Posty is him covering Dylan’s “Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right.” In 2020, Malone told Uproxx that after his set of Nirvana covers, he’d be keen to put on a performance of Dylan songs. It turns out Malone apparently had the opportunity to collaborate with the folk icon, but it appears the future of the partially finished song is now in doubt.

This is according to a new Rolling Stone interview with producer Michael Cash, who was involved with the project. Cash says he was trying to put together an album of hip-hop artists covering Dylan songs. Dylan apparently approved of Posty and event sent along some unreleased lyrics, which Dylan had titled “Be Not Deceived,” for Malone to build a new song around. Cash says Malone was “literally in tears” when he first heard Dylan’s words.

In March 2021, Malone apparently visited Cash’s studio to record the song, and after getting the track “about 40 percent done,” Malone had to leave. Malone seemingly dragged his feet finishing the song, and according to Cash, Dylan got tired of waiting and retracted permission for Malone to use the lyrics. As Cash put it, “It just seems like nobody really managed expectations, and it just seems like nobody communicated. A really cool piece of music got made, and then it just got weird. It got really weird.”

Malone didn’t offer a comment for the story, but he seemed to address the collaboration during a 2022 interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show, telling the host, “I have not met Bob Dylan but we have been… hmm, I don’t how much I’m at liberty to discuss. We’ve been chatting. He’s always just been a voice in my head. Always just appreciated the music and appreciated the songwriting.”

The Rolling Stone piece dives into more details about the Malone/Dylan story, so check it out here.
