B. Simone & Pretty Vee Respond To Soulja Boy Following His Heated Rant

If it was apparent by now, Soulja Boy is someone that you have to tread lightly around. The slightest bit of ridicule sets this guy off and B. Simone is someone who learned that the hard way. Just yesterday, a clip from the multi-hyphenate’s podcast, Let’s Try This Again, was making the rounds online after shooting a stray toward the rapper. She was retelling a story from a magazine photoshoot and while she was working, she had a gospel music playlist. B. Simone was saying how no one at the site was ripping her for her taste.

“Nobody said ‘Why are we listening to this? Man, put on Soulja Boy.’ I don’t think anybody’s ever saying put on Soulja Boy… I don’t know why I said that”. Later on, the podcast host made sure to give the “Crank That” MC his props for being a “hip-hop legend” and a “trendsetter”. Like we mentioned, though, all of the buttering up didn’t keep Soulja from firing back. He went off on Simone, essentially calling her ugly, roasting her for her lack of recognition as a musician, and repeatedly pointed out how he had more hair than her.

Well, B. Simone, along with fellow comedian, Pretty Vee, had some words for Mr. Pretty Boy Swag. However, there was nearly not as much malicious intent, especially from Simone. “This is nuts ”, she began. “I literally say “‘We have to put some respect on Soulja Boy name. He is a trendsetter & an innovator in the culture. So I respect Soulja Boy’”. I literally say he’s a hip-hop legend God bless you baby @souljaboy Hope you good But LTTA @letstrythisagain TAP IN Love yall !!!!”. That prompted Soulja to react lightheartedly, “@thebsimone you hurt my feelings ”.

That is when Pretty Vee came in to back up her girl. “Don’t play with me @souljaboy. You better play with them ones like this but not @thebsimone. Again she said what she said, now WHAT ”. Drake seemed to call out Joe Budden in a post on Instagram, Sunday night, following recent criticism from the podcast host. While sharing pictures from his It’s All A Blur tour, Drake noted that he’s appreciative of the life he has and that he isn’t somewhere podcasting.

“I thank god for this life and not having to come to rushed conclusions on Best Buy podcast mics,” Drake wrote. The remark mirrors Drake’s previous criticism of Budden, during which he labeled him a failed rapper.

As for what made Drake so mad, Budden discussed his negative response to For All The Dogs on an episode of his podcast. “He rappin’ for the children. Get the f— away from some of these younger n—as. And stop f—ing these 25-year-olds.”

That person was, of course, Bobbi Althoff. Many are calling her some sort of industry plant. Although, that would be fairly dismissive of everything she has done. So far, she has interviewed Funny Marco, Drizzy, Lil Yachty, Mark Cuban, and even Tyga. Furthermore, she has a plethora of other interviews on the way.

As it pertains to Drake, it had always seemed like the two were on very good terms with one another. They would hang out once in a while and Drizzy would even roast her in her IG comments. Overall, it felt like they were some up-and-coming comedic duo. Unfortunately, it seems as though this has all come crumbling down, extremely fast. On Twitter last night, it was reported by numerous accounts that Bobbi Althoff and Drake unfollowed one another. Moreover, she took down their interview from her YouTube page.

A quick fact check will show that this is, indeed, true. They definitely do not follow one another on Instagram. Additionally, on YouTube, the only trace of the Drake interview on Bobbi’s channel are some “Shorts” that were released prior to the entire interview going live. Needless to say, something very fishy is going on here. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like the internet has found any clarity on the situation.

This could definitely be a real feud brewing between the two or it could just be a random falling out. Drake has had an unfollow spree with other women in the past. Ice Spice being a prime example. Sauce Walka recently appeared on Tony The Closer’s Get Yo Ass Up podcast, where he shared his dating preferences. The Houston rapper said that he doesn’t “date black women,” leading to some intense backlash from viewers. Sauce Walka then took to Twitter to defend his stance.

When Tony The Closer asked Sauce Walka if he dates black women, he responded, “I date all women.” “But,” he continued, “when I date a black woman vs. dating a white woman, I do business. It has to make business sense. You have to understand the type of man that I am, and understand the stuff that I do.” He went on to cite differences he believes black and white women have. The rapper also stated, “I have multiple women in my life. They have to understand that there’s multiple women in my life.”

Sauce Walka went on to say, “So women can choose to not be attracted to broke men with no ambition or stability etc..!? But I can’t choose to be attracted to women who understand incorporation beats independence and teamwork makes the dreamwork!? On all levels of life not jus business unity always wins!” He later claims that he prefers women who “respect the truth that [he’s] not monogomous.”

The Shade Room shared the clip on Instagram alongside his Twitter responses, prompting heated discussion from commenters. One user wrote, “How TF do you come from a BLACK WOMAN but gotta a problem and judgment on the BLACK WOMAN. Ice Cube Shares “One Of The Funniest Stories” About Suge Knight

Rapper Ice Cube recently made an appearance on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast. During the interview, Paul encouraged him to discuss known rival Suge Knight. The artist wasn’t interested in diving too deep into the topic of the music executive, however, he did share “one of the funniest stories” he had heard about Knight.

In the appearance, Paul asked, “Isn’t Suge a little unhinged?” The artist responded, telling the YouTuber, “I don’t know.” Paul then brought up hearing that Knight “ran over someone, twice.” Ice Cube, again, responded with, “I don’t know about that.” Ice Cube went on to share “one of the funniest stories [he] heard” about the now-incarcerated executive. “Suge had an apartment full of producers,” he said. Comedian Kevin Hart discussed his relationship with the rapper during his visit to Impaulsive. “Cube might be one of the most genuine, kindest spirits that you can be around,” he shared. Hart went on, “He wants nothing but good for other people. He loves to see the people around him succeed- he’s such a creative mind.” The comedian claims, “That’s all he does,” saying, “He loves the foundation of creativity.” Hart calls Ice Cube, “One of the most professional people [he’s] worked with on set.”
