Lauren London Admits She’s Still “A Mess” Over Nipsey Hussle’s Death While Discussing Her Grieving Process

Lauren London says she’s still dealing with the death of her late partner, Nipsey Hussle, who was shot and killed outside of his store, Marathon Clothing, in 2019. She reflected on his tragic passing during an interview with Radhi Devlukia on the A Really Good Cry podcast, earlier this week.

“I still feel like a mess, that’s the thing,” she admitted, as caught by Billboard, “I guess I have to ask my friends how far I’ve come because I still genuinely feel like I have not arrived anywhere… I feel like I’m really heavy a lot, but again, I have to counter that to just, like, the grace of God, because if it was up to me, I would be sliding in here on my stomach, but I also don’t want to take away from the work that I’ve done from then until now. So, I don’t wanna do that, ’cause I’m good at doing that.” She added that her kids and her community have been an immense help. “God just placed people in my life that can kinda just usher me in and teach me and guide me. I always say the prayer of strangers held me up,” she said.

Together, London and Hussle shared one son and had children from previous relationships. Speaking about their grieving process with Devlukia, London explained that she’s been encouraging the family to express their emotions. “It’s so different with both of them, because one’s 14, the other one’s 7, so you know. I’m always, like, a container for whatever emotion they have,” she said on the show, “I’m just like, ‘It’s OK to feel all these things, you know? I’m holding it for you, I feel you, I understand, I hear you.’ But also, playing his music, I’m always telling them to journal as well, like, write him a letter, tell him how you feel.”

Yung Miami & DJ Akademiks Shockingly Agree To A “Caresha Please” Interview

As social media has proved many times in the past, Yung Miami and DJ Akademiks don’t like each other very much. However, it seems like they might finally bury the hatchet… Or at least, they’re open to the possibility. “Let’s do Caresha please season 2 @Akademiks,” the former City Girl tweeted recently. “I would love a sit down from my POV. Everyone POV is very important!!” “I’m down,” the media personality responded, and you can see many of their fans warn against the meet-up in the replies to their posts below. However, we won’t be the ones to rally against a reconciliation if it all goes down in good faith.

After all, they know all the attention that they bring each other doesn’t have to be mutually exclusive as far as its benefits. Most recently in their saga, DJ Akademiks blasted Yung Miami for her current beef with another former Everyday Struggle cohost and hip-hop media leader. Caresha made fun of Joe Budden’s gold plaque for “Pump It Up” over twenty years after its release. We wonder whether the Slaughterhouse MC would also be down for an interview with her to settle their differences.

Elsewhere, Yung Miami’s last words for DJ Akademiks came in the form of some scathing bars against him on her “50/50 Freestyle.” “N***a d**k small, probably why his ball so pissy,” she raps on the cut. “Meat puller on your knees, how you standing on the business? / Akademiks, you a b***h, why you speaking on women? / Yeah, leave him alone / Mr. Pocket P***y, what you beating on? / You see this face? I ain’t one of them b***hes you can hang up on.”

Meanwhile, DJ Akademiks’ also recently clowned Yung Miami for her alleged involvement in the Diddy scandal and about how she got herself into a bad situation. As you can see, there’s a lot of history that these two could hold grudges over. But it seems like an honest conversation and a big engagement farm might tip the scales towards peace. We’ll see if this actually manifests, and what the nature of their interview would even look like… If it does go down, that is.

2 Chainz’s young son Halo recently “rizzed up” Latto and got her number, but that doesn’t mean she’s safe from his tough questions. Moreover, she was recently a guest on the father and son duo’s Me & Halo podcast, and the eight-year-old didn’t hold back in the interviewer’s seat. “Um, is it true you got beef with Ice Spice?” “Oh my God, here we go,” the Atlanta femcee remarked. “Halo, what in the world?!” his father asked incredulously, albeit with a smile on his face. Whether they scripted this for engagement or not, she gave a pretty diplomatic answer concerning this light rap feud.

“Let me tell you something, Halo,” Latto answered. “I don’t got a problem with nobody ’cause beef is a different thing, you feel me? That’s a whole different type of conversation. I ain’t got no beef with nobody, I don’t got a problem with nobody for real. *laughs* I ain’t got no problem with nobody for real, for real, it ain’t like that.” 2 Chainz joked about Halo being “messy” on a show about love and asked where he even got that information from. Well, it’s likely that Halo might have spotted Latto’s own words on Ice Spice. “If I was to do [a battle], it would have to be with somebody I feel like I’ma go tit for tat with,” she expressed in a recent Billboard interview when asked about the feud. “I really don’t mean it as shade. Would she even want to do that? I feel like she’s doing her in her lane. It’s two different types of vibes. I don’t even think she gives me like, ‘Oh, she wants to engage in an actual rap beef.’ Everybody gon’ take their lil jabs in the music, and it’s not even that serious to me. I feel like you should do that. Continue to! But as far as actual whole diss records to each other, I don’t think she would even want to do that. Would it even make sense?”

Meanwhile, here’s what Ice Spice had to say about Latto during an interview of her own. “I feel like if we ever spoke and I asked her ‘What’s the issue?’” she told Rolling Stone. “It’d be like a blank stare. It’d really be no issue whatsoever. Especially from me. I can understand a friendly competition. But I just feel like at this point it’s a joke that she’s just dragged out. And it’s just not even funny. Like, bro, ‘Think U the S**t’ is from January. You’re going to post a piece of s**t cake to announce something that’s good news for you? But it is kind of a compliment because you’re taking something that’s supposed to be a fun moment for you and you’re making it about me … again.”

Lil Yachty Catches Flack For Disrespecting His Friend Mitch During Key Glock Podcast

Lil Yachty is in some hot water these days, spurred by his regional fashion comments and some other big headlines as of late. But this new instance of backlash rings a bit differently, as it has to do with his personal treatment of his podcast cohost, Mitch. They had a bit of a mini argument during their Key Glock episode, who didn’t really speak on much about this debacle. The awkward moment centered around the Atlanta creative taking responsibility for turning Mitch’s life around, as he questioned what his friend would even be doing today if it wasn’t for him. Mitch conceded that he didn’t want a job back then, but also spoke on his personal growth and how he’s learned a lot about himself.

Furthermore, it seems like they were both making essentially the same point. The difference is that Lil Yachty emphasized his role in Mitch’s growth and seemed to dismiss the notion that he could’ve made a life for himself without him. As such, many fans in the replies of the post below called him out for disrespecting his friend in this way, especially in front of a guest and on a public platform. But the “Sorry Not Sorry” artist has an even bigger relationship in the balance right now… At least, according to some gossip train-riding fans.

Lil Yachty’s Controversial Conversation With Mitch

You may have already heard that the OVO fanbase turned on Lil Yachty when he seemingly unfollowed his friend and frequent collaborator Drake on Instagram. While he seemed to quickly re-follow him within minutes, many still thought that this indicated a rift in their bond. For some fans, the main theory revolves around how Drizzy took Yachty off of their leaked collab “Supersoak,” and the latter was the one who sent the unreleased cut to Kai Cenat in the first place.

Nevertheless, it seems like this is all too murky and speculative for us to conclude that Drake and Lil Yachty are at odds. As such, we can assume that they’re still cool. Most likely, so are Yachty and Mitch, for that matter. But still, fans think that he made a mistake by airing out this dirty laundry on their friendship in this way. Armie Hammer says he’s “grateful” for the cannibalism and abuse allegations he faced in 2021. He discussed the situation and the fallout during a rare interview with the Painful Lessons podcast published on Sunday morning. He hasn’t appeared in any films since 2022’s Death on the Nile.

“Whatever it was that people said, whatever it was that happened, I’m now at a place in my life where I’m grateful for every single bit of it,” Hammer said during the interview. “I’m actually now at a place where I’m really grateful for it because where I was in my life before all of that stuff happened to me I didn’t feel good I never felt satisfied I never had enough I never was in a place where I was happy with myself where I had self-esteem. I never knew how to give myself love. I never knew how to give myself self-validation but I had this job where I was able to get it from so many people that I never had to learn how to give it to myself.”

Multiple women came forward with allegations about the Call Me By Your Name star in 2021, which derailed his acting career. “People called me a cannibal” he recalled. “Like I ate people! What???? You know what you have to do to be a cannibal? You have to eat people!” He added: “It was an ego death, a career death. A neutron bomb went off in my life. It killed off [everything].” Hammer further described his his acting career as “nowhere now” and confirmed he’s working on a screenplay.

Dame Dash Claims He Nearly Started Rapping Amid “Trouble” At Roc-A-Fella

Dame Dash says that he considered turning to rapping himself as Roc-A-Fella struggled during the early stages. Appearing on the Moguls in the Making podcast, the label’s co-founder explained that, had JAY-Z’s “Big Pimpin’” not blown up as it did, he would’ve gotten in the studio.

“In that moment, Roc-A-Fella was in trouble and if that ‘Big Pimpin” didn’t work, I was gon’ start rapping,” he claimed. “[I don’t got bars, but] I would have just did it for the company.” Elsewhere in the interview, he also suggested that JAY-Z was merely pretending to be him on the song. “Everything Jay said, he was pretending to be me,” he claimed.

Dash additionally reflected on the feud between JAY-Z and Nas and claimed there was never any concern over possible violence. In doing so, he compared it to The Notorious B.I.G. and 2Pac. “There was no fear of us getting hurt when it came to Nas. I’m telling you right now, there was no fear of any violence when it came to that,” he insisted. “There was no fear when it came to us of any battle that we had when it came to violence. We were never worried about that. Now, ‘Pac and Biggie, n****s got killed. But n****s get killed in Hip Hop now. They be battling and then they end up dead. Killer Mike Reveals Why He & His Wife Were Secretly Married For Years

Killer Mike recently recalled admitting to his wife Shana’s family that the two were secretly married for years. While appearing on the Off Menu podcast with hosts Ed Gamble and James Acaster, Mike explained how the marriage came to be and why they chose to keep it private.

“Within the first two weeks (of dating) I asked her to marry me and she was like, ‘Get the f*ck out of here. You’re a rapper.’ So, after about four or five years, we got really high in Vegas, and really drunk, and I pled my love to her, and we got married in a f*cking drive-through marriage thing with our cab driver as our witness, and then we didn’t tell anybody we were married for nine years,” Mike told Ed and James. “We’ve been married seventeen years now. So, for nine years no one knew, and then we finally had to tell her family – because her family is from Hilton Head Island (in South Carolina) and they’re very traditional… a tight-knit Black family, similar to mine.”

Afterward, he explained he needed Shana’s family’s blessing to build a property and the truth had to come out. “We were talking about building on some land here, we’d like to put a house here, and they were like, ‘Nah, you’re just f*ckingon our niece. It was conducted on the former NFL star’s hit podcast Club Shay Shay. The chat was a good get for the sports analyst, as GloRilla has a lot of exciting things happening in her career at the moment. But diving back into the Kai Cenat blocking situation, she explained the true intent behind it, according to AllHipHop.

When GloRilla spoke about it being all for show, she was not letting anyone’s imaginations run wild while giving her response. She really seems to be telling the honest truth. “That was a whole joke. With that said, it still weighs on him because Travis Kelce eventually had to find a new home.

The reason for Travis moving into a new home back in October was recently revealed by his sibling who is considering retirement. Instead of hosting, Jason was a guest on Shaquille O’Neal’s show The Big Podcast. According to TMZ, the Philadelphia Eagles center did share how beneficial this has been for himself and his family, and of course, Travis. However, as with all things in life, there are cons as well.
