NBA YoungBoy Sentenced Following Guilty Plea In Drug Fraud Case

NBA YoungBoy has pleaded guilty to 10 counts in connection to his prescription fraud ring case in Utah, accepting a deal that will see him avoid a prison sentence while dishing out a $25,000 fine. All-in-all, he pleaded guilty to two counts of third-degree felony identity fraud, two counts of third-degree felony forgery, and six counts of misdemeanor unlawful pharmacy conduct. Additionally, he entered a “no contest” plea to the remaining 36 charges in the case.

Logan District Judge Spencer Walsh agreed to the suspension of a prison sentence because YoungBoy will still be serving a “substantial” 27 months for a separate federal case out of another county. “I’ve seen so many times where you have young men and women who have a lot of talent and potential. They can be robbed of that potential when they start to really struggle with their addictions,” Walsh said at the hearing. “I don’t want that for you. I’m sure that in your future, once you’re done with your federal prison time, you can be really successful on federal probation and have a really bright future where you can reach your full potential in every aspect of your life. Best of luck to you, Mr. Gaulden.”

YoungBoy had been living under house arrest in Utah at the time of his arrest for the charges. He was allegedly been involved in a shooting in Miami in 2019. After that case, his lawyers argued in 2021 that “moving to Utah would keep YoungBoy out of trouble,” as noted by ABC 4. Back in April, police arrested him for allegedly running a prescription fraud ring out of his home.

Regarding the aforementioned federal case, YoungBoy agreed to serve over two years in prison back in September for a Louisiana gun case. As for his music career, YoungBoy is gearing up for the release of his next album on December 6. The title will be I Just Got a Lot on My Shoulders.

6ix9ine Agrees To Plea Deal After Violating Terms Of Probation

6ix9ine was so close. The rapper was only a few months away from being free of court supervision when he was arrested on October 29. He was penalized for failing multiple drug tests and failing to report plans to travel from his probation officer. 6ix9ine has spent the last week behind bars, but November 6 marked a notable development. Associated Press reports that the rapper agreed to a plea deal that would see him serve an additional month of jail time. The deal has also extended the terms of his probation by a year.

6ix9ine’s plea deal was partially endorsed by a Manhattan federal judge. The deal, which was submitted in written form, suggests that the rapper should serve a month behind bars. Once he is released, he will be relegated to an additional month of home incarceration. From there, a month of home detention and a month of curfew. The plea deal also proposed that 6ix9ine be subject to electronic monitoring when he’s on the outside. The rapper’s sentencing will take place on November 12. Judge Paul A. Engelmayer told the Associated Press that he will administer the sentence as soon as 6ix9ine admits to his violations.

Engelmayer was the judge who previously sentenced 6ix9ine, and he expressed disappointment over the rapper’s inability to stay clean. 6ix9ine apologized to Judge Engelmayer, and asserted he’s not a “bad person” despite his actions. The “GUMMO” rapper has seemingly resolved his probation violation. He has not, however, resolved the lawsuit that was filed against him a month before his arrest. 6ix9ine was sued by his former girlfriend, Yailin La Más Viral, for leveling an “appalling campaign of abuse” against her.

Yailin La Más Viral accused the rapper of physical and emotional abuse. She also claimed 6ix9ine stole money from her and used it to finance his own vices. “[He] used these misappropriated funds to pay for luxury expenses for his own entertainment,” the lawsuit alleged. “[All] while manipulating, shaming and coercing [her] to undergo unnecessary plastic surgery and other cosmetic procedures.” 6ix9ine posted Spanish text addressing the lawsuit on Instagram Live. He implied La Más Viral was trying to manipulate him with “fake press” and “gossip.”

YSL Woody Breaks His Silence On Young Thug’s Release From Prison

After a lengthy and arduous trial, Young Thug accepted a plea deal yesterday and was finally released from prison. The rapper was sent home with 15 years of probation along with various other release conditions. The hip-hop community is celebrating, and his peers couldn’t be happier to see his legal battle come to an end. Recently, for example, YSL Woody hopped online to share his reaction to the exciting news.

“Thank you God [prayer emoji],” he wrote on his Instagram Story last night. Woody has made plenty of headlines in recent months for his controversial role in the trial. In August, he admitted that he falsely incriminated Young Thug in a host of crimes in 2015 simply to get authorities off of his own back.

YSL Woody Thanks God For Young Thug’s Freedom

He’s since called for Young Thug’s release several times and even issued a heartfelt apology for his actions earlier this month. “The pain, the suffering, everything I’ve caused on him and his family,” he began at the time. “I wish I had the mindset and the strength that I have now. I’ll never forgive myself. I took him through a process that I never should have took him through. Even though I know I’m not the cause of it, despite how anybody may feel, it’s wrong.”

One of Young Thug’s release conditions is that he is barred from having any contact with alleged gang members or YSL affiliates, such as Woody. The only exceptions are his brother Quantavious Grier and Gunna, with whom he specifically requested permission to make music again. What do you think of Young Thug finally being released from prison? Are you glad he was finally able to go home? What about YSL Woody’s reaction to the exciting news? Young Thug’s Lawyer Reveals They Turned Down Plea Offer That Would’ve Sent Him Home Today

Young Thug just took a plea deal in his YSL RICO case on Thursday afternoon (October 31), pleading guilty for all charges except the RICO count and the gang leader count, for which he pleaded no contest. Basically, he neither denies nor admits the charges, but agreed to accept them, their sentence, and the fine. While writing this article, the State and the defense are making their cases for their desired sentence, which the judge will eventually make a final decision on in this non-negotiated plea deal. The State requested a sentence of 45 years with 25 years to serve and 20 on probation.

However, Young Thug’s lawyer Brian Steel clarified that they did not accept the State’s previous plea deal offer that would’ve had him go home today (Thursday, October 31) with 15 years of probation. He did not want to testify and did not accept the special conditions the District Attorney insisted on, and thus moved forward with this non-negotiated plea deal. This comes after various other plea developments in the YSL RICO trial. For example, Yak Gotti refused a plea deal.

Young Thug’s Attorney Discusses Previous Plea Offer

Still, various other YSL codefendants took plea deals, so this case began to close up more and more up until this monumental moment. Regardless, we still don’t know exactly what Young Thug’s plea deal will result in as far as a sentence, how it could change the situations of other defendants, and what the implications of this plea deal are. This is still very early in development, and the State went forward with presenting some final arguments about lyrics and alleged text messages. We still don’t know exactly what were the special conditions that Thugger and his legal team denied in their pursuit of a plea deal. Thug’s attorney Brian Steel expressed that they disagree with most of the prosecution’s arguments, and pushed back on some of their evidence and allegations arguing misrepresentation, omitted evidence, and misstatements.

Meanwhile, amid other plea deals, it seems like this case will finally end after making history as the longest criminal trial in Georgia history. We’re sure that Young Thug and company will still have a lot of legal matter to handle in the aftermath if this really is the end, which we don’t even know for sure. But everyone is on the edge of their seats waiting to see what the judge decides and what other developments could emerge. With all that in mind, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest updates.

Yak Gotti Refuses Plea Deal Amid YSL RICO Trial

Only three defendants remain in the YSL RICO case after three others accepted plea deals this week. This leaves Young Thug, Shannon Stillwell, and Yak Gotti left. Today, Yak Gotti’s attorney Douglas Weinstein revealed that his client has rejected a plea deal from the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office, according to FOX 5 Atlanta. He added that he “fully intends to take this to the jury and get our not guilty verdicts and go home.”

The news follows Young Thug’s co-defendant, Quamarvious Nichols AKA Qua, accepting a plea deal earlier this week. He pled guilty to a RICO charge in exchange for most of his other charges including murder getting dismissed. It also comes shortly after two other co-defendants, Rodalius Ryan and Marquavius Huey, entered guilty pleas.

Yak Gotti’s Attorney Says He “Fully Intends” To Receive A Not Guilty Verdict

Ryan is currently serving a life sentence for alleged murder and pleaded guilty to conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act. He was given a ten-year sentence that was commuted to time served. Huey has already been in prison for two years and also pleaded guilty to conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act along with aggravated assault, robbery, gun charges, and more. He got a 25-year sentence, with nine years to be served in prison. The rest of his sentence will be spent on probation with five years suspended.

There have also been rumors of a potential mistrial circulating, as the defense demanded one after a mistake from the prosecution earlier this month. A witness accidentally revealed that one defendant was previously incarcerated which reportedly, the jury was not supposed to know. Judge Paige Reese Whitaker rejected the idea of a mistrial with prejudice, meaning Young Thug and his co-defendants couldn’t be retried. She appeared open to a mistrial without prejudice, but it remains to be seen what will play out. What do you think of Yak Gotti rejecting a plea deal amid the YSL RICO trial? Are you surprised by this or not? What about three of Young Thug’s other co-defendants taking plea deals earlier this week? Young Thug Accepts Plea Deal In YSL RICO Case

Young Thug has reportedly accepted a plea deal in the YSL RICO case, according to reporter Thugger Daily and court footage, and could go home today (Thursday, October 31). It’s unclear what the judge will decide as his sentence, what the plea deal entails, and other details. However, we know that this is reportedly a non-negotiated plea, which reportedly means that the judge will have the final sentencing say. The defense will ask for their ideal outcome, the state will follow with theirs, and then the judge will decide. This comes after various other plea deals in the YSL RICO case following some key deliberations over a potential mistrial and errors by the State.

Speaking of which, the State recommended a 45-year sentence with 25 years to serve followed by 20 on probation. Young Thug also affirmed in court that he was aware of the State’s previous offer that he and his team turned down in favor of this non-negotiated plea. In addition, his legal team clarified that he could have gone home today for 15 years on probation if he successfully completed said probation. Thugger wouldn’t have had to go into custody if he accepted this previous offer in question. If not, he faced probation revocation and 23 years “backloaded” in the Georgia prison system. The Atlanta rapper’s attorney Brian Steel expressed that they “could not come to terms on all the conditions that the District Attorney was insisting upon.”

Young Thug Reportedly Accepts Plea Deal

Furthermore, Young Thug pleaded guilty to all counts in his indictment except the RICO count and the gang leader count. He pleaded “nolo contendre,” which basically means he neither admits nor denies the charges and simply agrees to accept them with the sentence and the fine. The State asked the court to deny this nolo plea and to only accept a guilty or non-guilty plea for those charges. However, the judge admitted this nolo plea.

Also, the State reportedly asked to seize all of Young Thug’s property such as cars and jewelry, which he did not agree with. As this is all still very early in development, it’s unclear what this will result in for the YSL RICO case. But it seems like it’s almost over.

Young Thug Trial: Two More Co-Defendants Accept Plea Deals

The YSL RICO trial is still going strong, and earlier this week, one of Young Thug’s co-defendants decided to take a plea deal. The co-defendant, Quamarvious Nichols AKA Qua, accepted the deal after days of negotiation with Fulton County district attorney Fani Willis. He pled guilty to a RICO charge, and as part of the deal, other charges against him including murder have been dismissed. Now, just a couple of days later, two more of Thugger’s co-defendants have accepted plea deals.

According to AllHipHop, Rodalius Ryan and Marquavius Huey entered guilty pleas on Wednesday (October 30). Ryan, who’s already serving a life sentence for alleged murder, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act. Judge Paige Reese Whitaker handed him a ten-year sentence, which was commuted to time served. Huey has been behind bars for two years and also pleaded guilty to conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act, along with aggravated assault, robbery, gun charges, and more. He was given 25 years, with nine to be served in prison. He’ll spend the rest of the sentence on probation, with five years suspended.

This leaves only three defendants, Young Thug, Yak Gotti, and Shannon Stillwell. This latest development comes amid theories that Judge Whitaker could declare a mistrial. The defense demanded one after the prosecution slipped up, and as a result, a witness said #FreeQua on the stand. The jury was not supposed to know he was previously incarcerated.

At the time, Judge Whitaker refused to grant a mistrial with prejudice, which would mean Young Thug and his co-defendants could not be retried. She did appear open to the idea of a mistrial without prejudice, however, and called out the prosecution for their mistake. What do you think of two more of Young Thug’s co-defendants accepting plea deals earlier this week? Are you surprised or not? Young Thug Trial: Co-Defendant Takes Plea Deal

The controversial Young Thug trial continued today and one of the co-defendants took a plea deal. Quamarvious Nichola, otherwise known as Qua, has decided to take a plea. This decision comes after days of negotiations with Fani Willis and the prosecution. Overall, this is a massive development in the trial. Throughout the last few days, there have been speculations about a potential mistrial and perhaps pleas from every single defendant. However, it appears as though Nichols is the only one getting a plea today.

Diddy’s Attorney Reveals Whether Or Not He’ll Take A Plea Deal

Now that federal officials have arrested Diddy – and after the court denied his bond twice – many wonder how the actual trial will develop. Some, like Katt Williams, think that he will snitch on many of his colleagues to catch a break, but there isn’t anything indicating that. Others are more inclined to believe that Sean Combs and his legal team will fight tooth and nail in court to advocate for his innocence, especially given their statements as of late. Well, thanks to the new TMZ documentary on Tubi, The Downfall Of Diddy: The Indictment, we have an idea of what his legal strategy is when it comes to cooperation.

During the documentary, TMZ Studios spoke to Diddy’s lawyer, Marc Agnifilo. He said that the Bad Boy mogul will not take a plea deal in his case on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Agnifilo also remarked that he will fight this case in court not just for his individual situation, but for others who face similar obstacles. As for why the legal team will not accept a plea deal even if prosecutors offer it, he cited his client’s supposed innocence as the reason why they see no need for it.

In addition, Marc Agnifilo said that Diddy wants to inspire other people that federal officials are prosecuting and lead them to fight back against their perceived persecution. He also posited that the New York businessman is thinking of his family a lot, and wants to prove his alleged innocence and his sense of self to them. He wants to prove he’s still the same man they love deep down. These comments come after Agnifilo characterized the federal indictment against his client as a racially motivated attack against a successful Black man.

Meanwhile, an alleged sex worker’s supposed testimony in front of a federal grand jury could result in new charges and problems for Diddy. However, we still have yet to see what this could result in. Many open questions remain ahead of the trial, which doesn’t have a set timeline at press time. But a plea deal doesn’t look like a likely possibility.
