Patrick Beverley Gets Suprised By Rashad McCants On “Gil’s Arena” After Heated Exchange Last Year

Patrick Beverley and Rashad McCants got into the latest episode of Gilbert Arenas’ podcast, “Gil’s Arena.” The two have a history of beef. Last year, when Pat Bev made an appearance on the show, he and McCants got into a heated argument. Beverly claimed to make Rashad McCants quit during a workout in the NBA, and the two got at each other’s throats from there. Now, Patrick Beverley has returned to the program. Now, the two have gone head to head again in another tense meeting.

Prior to making an NBA debut, Patrick Beverley had to put in a lot of work playing abroad. Beverley worked out for a few NBA teams during that period, and it seems like he had an intriguing tryout with Rashad McCants and the Lakers in 2012. The Lakers invited the two in for a tryout while Beverley was attempting to get into the NBA, and McCants was trying to figure out how to stay in it. Both players had very different stories about what transpired during the workout. From Beverley’s point of view, McCants was forced to give up on the exercise and quit because he was determined to do all in his power to make the Lakers squad. Now, they are revisiting their beef.

Patrick Beverley And Rashad McCants Clash Once Again

Patrick Beverley made his appearance on Gilbert Arenas’s show, and everything was going fine. Then the room goes pitch black, and WWE’s The Undertaker’s music starts playing. Rashad Mccants appears and catches Patrick Beverley off guard. The Bucks guard was adamant he knew it was coming. Beverley tried to just ignore the situation by pivoting to some basketball talk, acting as if he was unfazed. Everyone else seemed very interested in the two having an exchange.

“I finished the workout, coach (Darvin) Ham was the person running the workout, he came to me before the season started. ‘Hey man, you remember that workout we had, man? You made him quit.’ I forgot about it. I said ‘Damn, I did make a motherf***er quit,’” Patrick Beverley said in his last appearance in Gil’s Arena. McCants certainly did not forget about the exchange and had a hilarious entrance to unstelle the room. Overall, Patrick Beverley and Rasha dMcCants had a very awkward appearance on Gils show.

Patrick Beverley Suspended Four Games for Game 6 Actions

Patrick Beverley’s season is over, but he has already been suspended for the 2024-25 campaign. According to ESPN, Beverley has been suspended four games for throwing a basketball at fans multiple times during Game 6 of the opening round of the playoffs.

Game 6 was the deciding game in the Milwaukee Bucks series. The Bucks lost to the Indiana Pacers. Later that night, Beverley had a spicy encounter with ESPN producer Malinda Adams, asking her to leave the postgame media scrum for not following his podcast.

Beverley is currently under investigation by the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office for throwing the ball and hitting a fan in the head. Police have placed detectives on the case “who are currently investigating this situation and take all accusations seriously.”

Beverley apologized on his podcast, stating, “I have to be better, and I will be better. That should have never happened. Regardless of what was said, that should have never happened. Simple as that.”

Beverley also issued a direct apology to Adams, which she accepted.

Patrick Beverley Hit With Suspension For Throwing Ball At Pacers Fans

Patrick Beverley has been suspended by the NBA for throwing a ball at fans during the Pacers-Bucks playoffs series. This morning, it was reported that the Indianapolis police department was investigating the incident for potential charges being levied at Beverley. Now, the NBA has handed down its punishment in the form of a 4-gam suspension. The suspension is also a punishment for Beverley’s post-game dismissal of a female reporter from the locker room. Beverley told the reporter to leave the locker room because she did not subscribe to his podcast.

With Patrick Beverley set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer, his future team is a big question. It also stands to reason that his entire NBA future is uncertain. He is an older player with a lot of baggage and teams will ask if he is worth the headache. In the event that he moves on, it becomes apparent that the upcoming suspension will prevent him from making his new team’s debut straight away. An investigation is taking place, and the Indianapolis police are set on following through and doing their due diligence.

Patrick Beverley Suspended For 4-Games

Patrick Beverley did apologize for his acts and labeled them “inexcusable” earlier this week on his podcast, “The Pat Bev Podcast with Rone.” He explained that he did it because the trash talk by fans within the arena went too far. However, he restated that he ought not to have thrown the ball into the crowd. Patrick Beverley will now serve a 4-game suspension for both the act of throwing a ball at fans twice and disparaging a reporter after the game. Beverley might need to take up podcasting full-time. He is an unrestricted free agent after the season. Overall, it’s a big question mark where he will play next.

If he gets a minimum deal again next season—which is expected to be $3.3 million—he would lose almost $90,000 as a result of the ban. This isn’t the first time he has been suspended. During a blowout defeat to the Phoenix Suns in Game 6 of the Western Conference finals in 2021, Beverley shoved Chris Paul in the back as both players were making their way to their benches. As a result, he received a one-game ban while still a member of the LA Clippers. All in all, Pat Bev seems like he can’t handle losing.

Patrick Beverley Investigated By Police After Throwing Ball At Fan

Patrick Beverley’s actions in Indiana have left many surprised and concerned. The Bucks guard, known for his aggressive playstyle, had a night filled with controversies as the Indiana Pacers eliminated his team from the playoffs. Beverley, who often engages in trash-talking, was seen throwing a ball not once but twice at fans standing behind the Bucks bench. His post-game behavior was equally unexpected. He expelled a reporter from the locker room for not subscribing to his podcast. The situation has taken a serious turn, with the police now involved in the ball-throwing incident.

The NBA player is currently being investigated by Indianapolis police. They have stated that they are looking into the ball-throwing incident involving Patrick Beverley. A representative for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department has confirmed that, on May 2, after Beverley threw a basketball at Indiana fans twice during the Bucks’ playoff game against the Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, investigators did in fact file a case report. The representative claims that the report was subsequently sent to investigators. The investigators are currently attempting to obtain additional video from the arena and speak with those who were involved. The representative went on to say that as soon as the investigation is complete, detectives are supposed to forward their results to prosecutors.

Patrick Beverley Has Apolologized For Ball Throwing Tantrum

Patrick Beverley has not yet made any public comments regarding the criminal inquiry, although he did apologize for his acts and labeled them “inexcusable” earlier this week on his podcast, “The Pat Bev Podcast with Rone.” He explained that he did it because the trash talk by fans within the arena went too far. However, he restated that he ought not to have thrown the ball into the crowd. There has still not been a punishment from the NBA, which may be waiting for the criminal investigation to be completed.

Patrick Beverley went too far. When Draymond Green is saying you went too far, you went too far. Beverley has a history of being a sore loser and letting his emotions get the better. Just ask Chris Paul. Hopefully, the investigation isnt too severe as it was just a ball. Overall, it would be a shame for this to get blown out of proportion. The NBA should suspend and fine him and call it a day.

Patrick Beverley Kicks Reporter Out Of Locker For Not Subscribing To His Podcast

Last night, the Milwaukee Bucks were defeated 120-98 by the Indiana Pacers. After eliminating the Bucks, the Pacers will take on the New York Knicks in round two of the playoffs. The Bucks’ postseason run and second half of the season haven’t gone as planned. Injuries to Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard did not help the Bucks’s cause this postseason. Patrick Beverley was called upon to step up with the health of the Bucks two best players in question. Overall Beverley talked a lot of trash on the court and on social media. Furthermore, in last night’s losing effort Beverley got into a tense altercation with Pacers fans. He threw a ball at a fan’s head.

Patrick Beverley is an interesting NBA personality. Overall, he talks a big game and never really backs it up. He is a backup PG with a lot to say and now he has a podcast as a platform. After the game, in the locker room press crum, Beverley was his usual abrasive and delusional self. He stopped a reporter mid-question and asked if a journalist subscribed to his podcast. When they said they didn’t he asked them to leave immediately. Then doubled down and refused to answer questions until the reporter left the locker room. It is a wild and disrespectful move by Beverley who has a history of these types of moments.

Patrick Beverley Refuses To Anser Questions Unless Reporter Subscribes To His Podcast.

Patrick Beverley’s postgame press conference took a turn when he discovered that a certain reporter wasn’t a subscriber to his podcast. He not only told her to stop putting her microphone in his face but also asked her to leave the interview circle. ESPN reporter Malinda Adams was the unfortunate victim of Beverley’s diva act in the locker room. This incident has sparked a wave of reactions from ESPN reporters and those not affiliated, who have come to the defense of their colleague, highlighting the gravity of Beverley’s actions and the need for respect which he clearly did not show last night.

Stephen A. Smith and Kendrick Perkins could not believe Patrick Beverley’s behavior damming his actions last night. Between him throwing the ball at a fan’s head and his interactions with reporters postgame, Beverley will likely face a suspension. Although He is trying to defend himself on Twitter, it doesn’t look like that will get him out of this situation. Overall, Pat Bev is in deep trouble and has eroded any respect he had left in the NBA media.

Patrick Beverley Defends Himself After Throwing Ball At Fan

The Milwaukee Bucks fell to the Indiana Pacers last night 120-98. The Pacers eliminated the Bucks from the playoffs and will meet the New York Knicks in round 2. The Bucks have had a less-than-ideal second half of the season and playoff run. After firing their coach Adrian Griffin with a 33 – 13 record and replacing him with Doc Rivers, the Bucks finished the season 49-33. Damian Lillard and Giannis Antetokounmpo failed to gel and dealt with severe injuries. Giannis did not play in the series against the Pacers due to injury, and Dame missed time with an injury coming back last night, which had no success. The Bucks’ fate was left in the hands of Patrick Beverley, and unsurprisingly, it did not go well.

Patrick Beverley got in an altercation with a fan last night during the Pacers beat down of the Bucks. Tempers flare in the NBA. It’s a common thing to be upset when you lose. Couple that with a rabid fan base and a player known for crossing the line and being too inverted in extracurriculars, and you have what took place last night. Pat Bev threw a ball at a fan after jawing back and forth. The fan threw the ball back, and Beverley and the backup PG returned it even harder than the first time.

Patrick Beverley Defens His Actions

Patrick Beverley can be seen tossing the ball into the Pacers crowd, hitting a fan in the head. The ball is gathered by another fan and tossed back normally to Beverley. Beverley then proceeds to fire the ball at the fan even harder than the first time. Pat and the fans in the section continued to exchange words after the incident. His teammates and staff restrained Pat Bev to de-escalate the situation. It’s a ridiculous moment for Pat Bev, who will more than likely face a suspension for his actions.

Patrick Beverley took to Twitter to defend himself. He says the fans exchanged words with the Bucks bench all night, and all he did was return the favor. He says he warned the fans and asked for help from arena security. Nevertheless, it’s a playoff game. Indiana is always among the most engaged crowds in the NBA, and they haven’t been to the playoffs in a decade. Fans are going to say things to players, but as long as they don’t cross certain lines, it’s fair game. Overall, Pat Bev might be trying to save himself from a suspension.

Patrick Beverley Rips Gilbert Arenas For His Draya Michele Comments

Patrick Beverley has defended Draya Michele and Jalen Green after Nick Young shared a salacious story about the reality star on Gilbert Arenas’ podcast. “Sidenote Yal foul. Not cool, not at all. @GilsArenaShow Yal old asl talking about another man Lady. Not cool gang. @PatBevPod,” Beverley wrote on X, formerly Twitter. However many people in Beverley’s comments tried to defend Young and Arenas, saying the two men were just trying to “warn” Green about Michele.

Michele, who has widely been called a “predator” for the relationship, seemed to address the backlash in a recent social media post. “Get comfortable being misunderstood. Only a fraction of people will be able to truly grasp your essence. You are not on anyone else’s timeline of comprehension. Also, it’s none of your business how others choose to perceive you. Most High sees you clearly – let that be enough,” read a tweet from a self-proclaimed medicine woman that Michele shared to her Instagram story.

London Brown & Joe Budden Go After Draya Michele

Meanwhile, more and more public figures have continued to go after Michele. Actor London Brown aimed his attack at Green by sounding off about Michele’s past. “She’s passed goods, passed around goods. She done top us all off,” Brown said dismissively while primarily attacking Green. Brown is best known for his work in Power Book III. However, he earned his acting start in Ballers.

Meanwhile, Joe Budden called Michele a “predator” amid the rumors that the 39-year-old year might be expecting a child with the 21-year-old Green. “We’ve seen so many NBA stars lose their career, and everything, because of women like this,” Budden said. He also went after co-host MeLyssa Ford, who didn’t appear to have an issue with the relationship. “We don’t have twenty minutes to explain something to you that is right there in front of you,” Budden said dismissively. Despite this, several fans pointed out that Budden was also a predator after impregnating at a woman in her mid-20s when he was 39.

JJ Redick & Patrick Beverley Trade Shots Over Redick’s Doc Rivers Slander

JJ Redick is someone who is very opinionated as it pertains to the sport of basketball. Overall, he had a solid NBA career and had a wild playoff streak that lasted up until the end of his career. Now, he finds himself as a broadcaster with his very own podcast and a recurring spot on First Take. He has done phenomenal work with both, and there is no doubt that he is a fan favorite out there. However, today, he found himself in a bit of trouble thanks to his thoughts on Doc Rivers.

Redick said that Rivers is a bag of excuses and is constantly making up reasons why he doesn’t win. Redick played for Rivers on the Clippers, so he is certainly familiar with the head coach. Consequently, some felt like Redick was just venting about his experiences. One person who didn’t appreciate it was Patrick Beverley, who is being coached by Rivers out in Milwaukee. “This Man Doc actually saved your career. Started you when no one else wanted 2. And u retire go on TV and say that,” Beverley said.

JJ Redick Claps Back

Subsequently, Redick saw the tweet from Beverley and decided that it was time for him to respond. “Pat my guy I had a four year offer with player option for the same money to be a starter for a different team,” Redick said. “FOH “saved my career”.” It was a pretty good response, especially when you consider how Redick was a huge reason why the Orlando Magic were so good during the Dwight Howard years. Either way, it is clear that Beverley just wanted to defend his head coach.

Patrick Beverley to Join Chicago Bulls After Reaching Buyout

The Los Angeles Clippers are currently struggling after the arrival of James Harden. Speaking on Run It Back, FanDuel TV’s NBA-centric morning show hosted by Shams Charania, Chandler Parsons, Michelle Beadle, and Lou Williams, is former Clipper Patrick Beverley who is currently assessing the team’s state.

“They’re going to be an awful regular season team, they going to be a dangerous playoff team,” Beverley said.

You can hear it from Pat below.

On Sunday, the Clippers lost to the lowly Memphis Grizzlies 105-101, which included some horrible moments from James Harden.

Doc Rivers Convinced Patrick Beverley To Sign With Sixers

The Sixers have been pretty quiet during free agency so far. Obviously, there is the whole James Harden re-sign and trade situation being worked on. However, in terms of tangible moves, there just hasn’t been a lot going down in the City of Brotherly Love. At the time of writing (July 5), their sole addition has been veteran Patrick Beverley. The Sixers agreed to a one-year contract worth $3.1 million with the 34-year-old.

Beverley began the 2022-23 campaign on the Lakers before a midseason trade sent him to the Bulls. He averaged 6.2 points and 3 defensive rebounds a game across 62 starts. Many people think he is a good fit for the Sixers, where he will play behind whoever the starting point guard is. Currently, that’s Harden but if he leaves, the Sixers will likely either roll with Beverley or look to swing a big name in return. However, Beverley recently opened up about just what exactly brought him to Philly.

Doc Rivers Brought Beverley To Philly

The Sixers parted ways with coach Doc Rivers after the 2022-23 season after he failed to get them past the second round of the playoffs for the second consecutive season. Despite this, Rivers was the one who would end up landing them Beverley. Speaking on The Pat Bev Show, Beverley said he called up Rivers, who he views as “damn near a father figure”, for advice.

“I might go to Philly. Obviously, you was there. How’d you like the situation?” Beverley said that he asked Rivers. “This is a Hall of Fame coach that just got fired. His response, exact words: ‘I love Philadelphia for you. They need you. You will be great with Joel, James — he respects you, you would be great with him. If I had you last season, we would’ve been a different team.’” Beverley would have likely given the Sixers some much-needed defensive oomph last season. However, it’s doubtful that he would have completely revamped the team. He was 113th in drpg, 69th in bpg, and 97th in defensive win shares. However, hopefully Nick Nurse will find a way to utilize the veteran thanks to Doc Rivers.
