Keefe D Claims Diddy Put Hit On Tupac For $1M In New Audio Used In Court

Keefe D’s court case for the murder of Tupac Shakur has plenty of other suspects in its sights, especially from the defense’s side. Moreover, on Thursday (January 11), his lawyers submitted a tape of him claiming that Diddy offered him a million dollars to murder the West Coast legend, according to The U.S. Sun. However, the clip reportedly doesn’t feature the Bad Boy mogul at all, but rather Keefe (real name Duane Davis) laughing about his alleged involvement with Vegas police. Apparently, Sean Combs wanted ‘Pac and Suge Knight taken care of because tensions between the East Coast and West Coast had reached an all-time high.

Furthermore, this follows other accusations that Diddy had something to do with this whole debacle. For example, L.A.P.D. Detective Greg Kading did so back in 2011, also alleging that Suge put out the hit on Biggie Smalls. “We got Keffe D’s back up against the wall,” he recalled to HipHopDX around this time, explaining how they began to put the pieces of the story together. While this is purely speculative, it’s also to show for just how long rumors like these have dominated hip-hop conversations and gossip mills.

“He explained to us that him and his nephew, [Orlando Anderson], and the rest of that little Crip entourage, committed the murder of Tupac out in Las Vegas,” Kading continued of Keefe D and Diddy’s involvement. “Then he explains that the conspiracy to commit the murder of Tupac had developed in Los Angeles during his conversations with Puffy Combs. We realized now that we had some legitimate ownership of [Tupac’s case, too]. Even though the murder took place in Las Vegas, and technically it was their investigation, since the conspiracy to murder happened in our jurisdiction, it gave us a legitimate cause to investigate it.

“Since now we had the star witness, [Keefe D], and now we needed to protect him in order to further the investigation to take it up to where it’s tied to the other conspirators, we needed to really protect that aspect of the case,” he went on. “Because if it got out, ‘Hey, Keefe D’s cooperating,’ or anything like that, well, you can imagine that would’ve interfered with the ongoing investigation.” For what it’s worth, Puff Daddy’s denied any and all accusations when it comes to this. Diddy Won’t Attend Grammys This Year: Report

The various sexual assault allegations against Diddy sent shockwaves throughout the industry, both in his own career and that of so many others. Moreover, as one of music’s most prolific and wide-ranging moguls, it’s clear that this has affected a lot of pop culture these days. One question that folks had, for example, is whether Sean Combs will attend the 2024 Grammys, given his nomination for Best Progressive R&B Album for The Love Album: Off The Grid. It marks his first solo nomination since 2004, in which he won Best Rap Group/Duo Performance for “Shake Ya Tailfeather” featuring Nelly and Murphy Lee.

Now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, Diddy will not attend this year’s ceremony, taking place on February 4. This news allegedly comes directly from one of his representatives, who spoke to the outlet about this decision as he also faces shut-outs from reality TV programs and many more consequences. Furthermore, back in December, the Recording Academy stated to Radar Online that they are “taking this matter very seriously and are in the process of evaluating it with the time and care that it deserves.” If this news is true, then perhaps we will never know how the Grammys’ organizers would’ve truly handled this situation.

Diddy Dismisses Ex-Nanny’s Move To Sanction Him In New Lawsuit Motion: Report

Diddy’s legal trouble turned much nastier this year thanks to accusations of sexual assault, and his other lawsuits still rage on. Moreover, a new development emerged in his ex-nanny Raven Wales-Walden’s case against him for alleged wrongful termination, according to court documents obtained by Radar Online. Specifically, she claimed that Sean Combs and his team refused to provide important legal documentation in this case, asking for compensation in the form of $5,000. “Defendants have been completely evasive in their discovery responses,” Wales-Walden’s lawyer stated concerning this aspect. He provided this paperwork, but blasted these moves in court via his legal representative.

“Instead of filing the Motion and wasting Court and party resources, [Raven] should have consulted with [him] on a production schedule in order to understand when they would be producing the documents they committed to,” Diddy’s affiliate expressed. “Sanctions are not warranted under these circumstances, the documents sought have been produced. The Motion was irrelevant to [Diddy’s] production, and [Raven’s] counsel manufactured a dispute that did not exist.” What remains now is to see whether the court will ask for more from these documents or instead become more cautious with Wales-Walden’s requests.

Furthermore, for those unaware, this case emerged in 2022 when Raven Wales-Walden sued Diddy for wrongful termination. She claims to be a relative of his late ex-partner, Kim Porter, and claims he fired her when he found out she was pregnant out of wedlock in 2020. Puff Daddy sought to dismiss this lawsuit in May of this year with the help of a Los Angeles Superior Court judge. According to him, Wales-Walden did not “satisfactorily perform her job responsibilities, and otherwise conduct herself in accordance with the standards and policies of Combs Defendants.”

Meanwhile, the Bad Boy mogul alleged that he acted through “reasonable steps to prevent and correct workplace discrimination (if any) and to implement internal grievance processes designed to respond to, correct, remedy, or otherwise avoid the alleged harm, if any. [Raven] unreasonably failed to utilize the preventive and corrective measures that the Combs Defendants provided. Reasonable use of such procedures would have prevented at least some of the harm (if any) that [Raven] alleges to have suffered. [She was] not performing all of her job duties as required. There were some days that [Raven] received compensation for work that [she did] not perform. Moreover, his most recent example of this is an old clip of Sean Combs at what appears to be The Breakfast Club in which he makes some poorly-aged comments. Basically, he says that if he owes you something and you bring him receipts proving that to be the case, he will pay you back in 24 hours. For those unaware, the Bad Boy mogul settled his assault lawsuit from Cassie in more or less this same timeframe. As such, Fif is one of many who’ve suggested that this settlement isn’t a good look, and that are looking at old statements from him with new context.

“He ain’t lying bout that one,” 50 Cent captioned the clip of Diddy’s comments in question. “Now here they come in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.” Furthermore, the latest development in these legal troubles is that the New York executive got new legal representation in his other lawsuits on the table. Diddy Gets Letter From Cassie’s Friend Detailing His Alleged Abuse

While Diddy and Cassie settled the sexual assault lawsuit that the latter brought against the former, the story is still not over. On one hand, multiple other alleged victims came forward with legal action of their own against him, which is seemingly spiraling further and further with each passing week. On the other, other tangential figures in the singer’s case came forward with their own testimonies and claims. The latest to do this is Cassie’s friend Tiffany Red, who wrote a letter to Sean Combs published in Rolling Stone. In it, she gives weight to her friend’s claims and further suggests certain patterns when it comes to his allegedly abhorrent behavior.

Moreover, Red explained that she met Cassie in 2015, and that she helped her write songs for her second album, which never came out. They became close, and spoke about the latter’s relationship with Diddy quite often. So, when the three met at Cassie’s surprise 29th birthday party, Tiffany alleged that he didn’t take kindly to her being so close with his artist. When the singer wanted to go to a karaoke bar, Puffy and his crew allegedly tried to convince her otherwise, but they ended up making it shortly after Cassie and company got there. Moreover, this whole situation became a PR nightmare for him as of late, and the sheer number of accusations paint a dark picture of his alleged behavior and attitudes. What’s more is that these cases relate to each other in unique ways, especially when it comes to how they might play out in court. Furthermore, a Jane Doe recently accused Sean Combs and two other men of sexually assaulting her when she was 17. According to reporter Meghann Cuniff, the plaintiff hired the same lawyers that worked with Cassie in the settled lawsuit that kicked this wave off.

“This is now the fifth lawsuit filed against Mr. Combs in the last three weeks,” the latest lawsuit against Diddy reads. “Incredibly, the allegations brought by Ms. Doe are in many ways even more egregious than those brought by his prior victims.” Not only that, but we’re also getting rumors and whispers of how this whole situation is impacting the industry. Diddy’s Former Bodyguard Seems To Retract Claims About His Abuse Of Cassie

Diddy’s former head of security, Roger Bonds, recently dropped some bombshell claims against him amid a whole slew of accusations and lawsuits about his alleged sexual misconduct and abuse. Specifically, Bonds claimed that he witnessed him attack multiple women– including Cassie, whose initial lawsuit is what started this wave in the public. However, things changed quite quickly when it comes to the former bodyguard’s narrative. For example, his Instagram seemed to disappear shortly after he made these remarks. Now, Bonds returned to the platform and seemingly walked back a lot of what he said initially.

“This ain’t about nothing, yo!” Diddy’s former bodyguard began his message online. “I seen Cassie and Diddy fight. Yeah, I seen them fight– just like everybody else fight. Just like I fight, just like y’all fight with y’all man and y’all fight with your girl.” Of course, this runs contrary to his initial statements, which were much more damning and took more accountability for what went down.
