Playboi Carti Posts NBA YoungBoy Wearing Opium Chain On IG Story

Playboi Carti might have just caused the two most volatile and fervent fanbases in hip-hop today to unite. Moreover, the Opium label head just reposted a picture of NBA YoungBoy wearing an Opium chain, who also took the opportunity to promote his Never Broke Again merch. Furthermore, fans lit Twitter and Instagram ablaze with album rumors, clamors for a collab, and a whole lot of hype. Also, Instagram jewelry accounts and other social media pages bolstered these rumors by specifically reporting news of a joint album and Carti gifting the chain to YB. Further down, you’ll be able to see an embed alleging the collaboration, and it’s important to note that these rumors are still unconfirmed.

Of course, this is one of the most elusive rappers today linking with one of the most prolific. As such, a lot of people remain skeptical of the collab chances of seeing the light of day. Still, even a simple Instagram Story post from Playboi Carti is a lot of info by his standards, as album rumors continue to prop up and then dissipate. The one who might confirm these rumors to greater extent is NBA YoungBoy, who hasn’t said much other than plugging the promoted clothing.

Regardless, the possibility of a team-up between these two is quite exciting and has a lot of potential. After all, YoungBoy tried out more rage-inspired sounds on his 2023 project I Rest My Case. As arguably the figurehead and most important innovator in that genre, the Whole Lotta Red MC could add a lot to the Baton Rouge rapper’s development. On the other hand, we could see them try something completely different, or maybe Carti will enter YB’s lane.

Rumors Swirl Online Of Collab Album

Given his recent track with The Weeknd and Madonna, “Popular,” we know that the “King Vamp” artist is one to consistently surprise the fans. If it actually shapes up to be true, this could be a standout moment for hip-hop in 2023. Whether it happens or not, one thing’s for sure: the fanbases’ online energy is enough to light up a stadium. Homixide Gang Accused Of Grooming Underage Girls

Many fans are accusing Homixide Gang, the duo affiliated with Playboi Carti’s Opium label, of grooming underage girls. Moreover, members Meechie and Beno! both stand implicated in fan discussion on social media. Before getting into their testimonies, this is a very delicate situation to address. While no official accusations or legal action sprouted, many social media users shared their testimonies. Meanwhile, information swirling online mostly comes from people witnessing things at live shows. Also, they spread screenshots of Homixide Meechie’s alleged response to the allegations.

Furthermore, one of the shared screenshots displays an alleged DM exchange between Homixide Beno! and a 17-year-old young woman. “Dang I was trying see you but I think your friend was playing,” he allegedly wrote after asking where she was from. “I saw this somewhere else too bruh,” a user wrote on Reddit. “Mfs will defend them cuz they r associated w Cartier and thats the sad part.” Another testified via Instagram DMs to someone who shared the allegations. “THATS WHAT MY FRIENDS ARE SAYING,” they wrote. “LIKE BENOS BEEN FW UNDERAGED GIRLS THIS AINT THE FIRST TIME IVE SEEN SOME SHIT BY HIM.”

“At the Houston show the guy running the merch stand tried to get my friends to get back stage for homixide gang,” they continued. Moreover, another fan wrote their testimony via Reddit. “I was at the show in Indianapolis last night up front,” they began. “Homixide Osama [another Opium affiliate] and the other dude… took two 15 year old girls backstage, and even tried getting my girlfriend (who’s also 15) to go backstage with them. Obviously she said no, but that’s weird as f**k. The girls were obviously underage as well it’s not like they looked old.”

“Yeah fr,” another wrote in response to accusations. “I told security what happened cause sum felt very off about them going back there with them…” Furthermore, Beno! allegedly responded to the allegations via Instagram. “All y’all N***as want to play these games,” he wrote with a slew of laughing emojis.

Again, his alleged comment (as screenshots can be manipulated) isn’t directly linked to these claims. Still, it’s a lot to consider and evaluate, especially in the murky waters of social media. Overall, these are still rumors and unfounded allegations, but the consensus is concerning. Stay tuned to HNHH for more updates on this story that hopefully set the record straight.
