North West has been in the news quite a bit over these past few days. Overall, a lot of this stems from the fact that she was on her father’s new album Vultures 1. She can be found on the track “Talking” where she delivers her debut rap verse. Although it may not be extremely lyrical, some have seen it as the highlight of the album. After all, North is a lot like her father in many respects, and fans think she can be a superstar one day. If anything, this is her first step to getting on that trajectory.

Vultures 1 has certainly been through the wringer as of late. There has been a whole lot of drama around the album, especially as it pertains to distribution. For instance, the album was taken off Apple Music. However, it was eventually put back on the platform fairly soon after. Now, North West is showing her appreciation towards the album. In a journal, North revealed what she appreciates the most right now. Of course, all of her answers were Vultures 1 related. Moreover, she even delivered a drawing of the album cover.

The drawing itself is pretty good even though it wasn’t meant to be entirely realistic. For the most part, she got the silhouettes correct. Moreover, she revealed that her favorite song on the album is “Carnival.” This track features the likes of Rich The Kid, and even Playboi Carti. Ultimately, it makes up one of the best tracks on the project. However, the reviews for Vultures 1 continue to be mixed. Some are impressed with it, while others see it as a complete waste of time.

Kanye West Brings Out North West On Stage In Chicago

Kanye West brought out his daughter, North, in Chicago for a listening event ahead of the release of his new album with Ty Dolla Sign, Vultures 1, earlier this week. The 10-year-old is featured on her father’s new song, “TALKING,” which made the tracklist for the project.

“I love it here/ We gonna take over the year for another year/ It’s your bestie, Miss, Miss Westie,” North sings during her verse. “Don’t tryna test me/It’s gonna get messy.” When The Neighborhood Talk shared the performance on Instagram, fans had plenty of praise in the comments section, “She is HIM reborn!!!!!!! Sent by his mother. He needed North,” one user wrote. Another added: “I’m not gonna hold ya’ll. North has that IT factor. Mark my words. She will be a force.”

The Chicago concert comes despite West admitting to having trouble booking venues to perform in. He had just taken to social media to complain about being ignored by arenas across the country. “We just sold out United Center in seven minutes, and I just want to express to everybody out there to see if there’s anyone that can help with this,” West said in one clip re-uploaded by a fan account. “It’s the only arena that I had access to in the past year. And when I call, people say there’s no avails for me, and you know why that is. So if there’s anybody out there that can help with this, please.”

North West’s Debut Song ‘Talking/Once Again’ Now Has An Official Video Featuring Her Dad, Kanye

Kanye West may be on the outs with basically the entire entertainment industry (save for a few of his “friends” in the rap world*) at this point, but it looks like he may have found the perfect way back in: Riding on the coattails of his lovable 10-year-old daughter, North West.

North has previously expressed her desire to follow in pops’ footprints, and recently, had been performing her own debut single at his listening events. Now, that song, officially titled “Talking/Once Again,” has a music video, and of course, it features North confidently rapping at the camera as her father lurks nearby, like Puff in all of Biggie’s videos. He doesn’t even have the decency to dance.

*(Let’s be real here: Being friends with characters like Chris Brown, DaBaby, and Marilyn Manson probably isn’t doing him any favors, either.)

If this reads a little cynical, sorry — not sorry. The whole exercise feels this way; in addition to using his kid to Trojan Horse his way back into the spotlight, Kanye also uses the video to push his regressive views on femininity, which reads especially gross after he excoriated his ex-wife for letting their daughter play around with makeup on TikTok, then paraded his new wife/dress-up doll around in a literal plastic bag not a full 48 hours ago.

I have no thoughts on the quality of the song that I care to share but I do feel bad for North. Being the child of divorced parents isn’t much fun and doing it in the spotlight, with access to opportunities few other kids will ever get will probably only exacerbate things. In any event, the song will allegedly appear on Kanye’s new album Vultures with Ty Dolla Sign, but it’s anyone’s guess when that’ll actually come out — if ever. Kanye West has shared a new music video titled, “Talking/Once Again,” featuring both his daughter, North West, as well as his frequent collaborator, Ty Dolla Sign. The track arrives while he and Ty prepare for the release of their new album, Vultures, on Friday.

North previously performed her opening verse on the song at Wynwood Marketplace in Miami back in December. In response to the finished product, fans are proclaiming her and her father the best in the game. “I’ll let you finish, but Miss Westie has one of the best videos of all time,” one fan commented on the music video. Another wrote: “Kanye is literally the greatest. It’s just no way around that.”

The collaboration with Ty Dolla Sign comes as the two prepare to release a new album together, Vultures, on Friday. The tracklist is expected to feature Charlie Wilson, Freddie Gibbs, Quavo, Playboi Carti, Chris Brown, YG, Future, and several more artists. One rapper not making the cut is Nicki Minaj, who rejected West’s request to include “New Body” on the project. “I made that girl rewrite her verse three times for ‘Monster’. I supported her career. So I don’t know what it is. But we going to get this or we just ain’t going to push it,” West remarked in response.

The short comment refers to claims that Kanye West made in 2022 that Kim Kardashian had cheated on him with Chris Paul. No proof that the rumor was true ever emerged, but it is one that has stuck with fans.

Another avenue of comments surrounded North’s apparent readiness to join the NBA. Many fans commented that she had better off-hand control than the Celtics’ Jaylen Brown. Overall, Ye did not take it too well at first. However, he now has a new wife who he seems to love very much. He and Bianca Censori have been everywhere the last couple of weeks, especially with Vultures now on the horizon. As for Kim, she has been doing her own thing, and it seems like she is single.

A few days ago, the two reunited for what was a pretty awkward basketball game. They didn’t seem like they wanted much to do with one another, and the photos that were taken certainly proved that. However, the two got a second chance to reunite recently. According to TMZ, Kim and Ye were out at dinner at Nobu in Malibu. They were not alone, as North and a group of her friends were there, as well. Needless to say, it wasn’t the one-on-one get-together that some KimYe Stans would have been hoping for.

The album was first announced last year with its first planned release date in December.
