Marissa Da’Nae Shares Details Of Pregnancy Journey

Marissa Da’Nae has been very public about her pregnancy as of late. Da’Nae, who very publicly broke up with NLE Choppa last year, has been taking to Instagram frequently this week. This was primarily to put Choppa on blast of his absence during her pregnancy. Da’Nae says that Choppa is the father of her child, conceived through IVF.

However, after apologizing for her outburst about her baby daddy, Da’Nae was back to pregnancy posting. However, this time it was a personal reflection of where’s she at with the baby, rather than taking additional shots at Choppa.

Da’Nae Shares Pregnancy Hardships But Has “No Regrets”

Taking to her Instagram, Da’Nae shared two photos that she claims were taken “literally a month apart”. One shows a slim Da’Nae in a cut-away bikini. The other shows Da’Nae in a sports bra and sweats, sporting a prominent baby bump. “I was able to suck in and take pics still a month ago, today can’t suck in nothing,” read Da’Nae’s caption. “I’ve gained 10 pounds in 3 weeks. I get kicked in the my ribs, crazy heartburn, pee a million times a day, the migraines and kiss my ass.” she continued. She also noted that “Ice Cream is my bestie” and that “for somebody to be a pound and some change already, my back hurting badly.”

However, this was just some mild venting for Da’Nae, who opened the caption by saying “no regrets what I did out of love.” The rest of the caption offered words of love to her unborn child. “But it’s just me and my bestie,” the second half of the caption began. No matter wtf is going on in this outside world, you are my world and mean the most to me and even tho this has been a long journey, you have been worth everything. I love you. You always got me.” According to her previous posts, Da’Nae is in the second half of her pregnancy. This would put her at a minimum of five months pregnant. The post was a heartful message from an eager mother-to-be. Furthermore, Da’Nae seems intent on putting the drama to one side for the good of her child.

NLE Choppa Insists He’s Single, Ex-GF Says Otherwise

NLE Choppa’s ex-girlfriend says he isn’t single, but the rapper says that isn’t true. On Thursday, the Memphis rapper made an appearance on The Morning Hustle, a radio show based in Atlanta, and talked about the ongoing issues with his ex-partner Marissa DeNae. He acknowledged her statement that she is pregnant with their child and that he had paid for her IVF treatments, but he maintained that he was still unmarried. NLE Choppa just released his new album, so this interview was part of a promotional press tour. However, given the public state of his former relationship, it makes sense that he can’t escape questions about it.

NLE Choppa hails from Memphis, Tennessee. In recent years, he has garnered significant attention in the music industry due to his breakout hit “Shotta Flow” in 2019. Since then, NLE Choppa has been diligently building his career, earning a dedicated fan base and a strong presence on social media. NLE Choppa has also made strategic collaborations with established artists, showcasing his versatility and potential for long-term success. Most recently, the rapper released his album Cottonwood 2, which features some of the biggest names in the industry.

NLE Choppa’s ex-girlfriend had a lot to say about the rapper in an Instagram story she posted earlier this week. In her posts, she shamed Choppa for “not being there.” However, as the rapper maintains that he is actually single, it appears that his ex may have been saying it for attention. “I Really been trying to hold it down and keep it together,” she wrote. “But I’m honestly just fed tf up. You constantly trying to holla at folks, take folks on dates and etc but you have failed to show up for your child!” She went on to talk about how the rapper paid for IVF but it’s there for appointments.

However, in his interview, Choppa made is expressly clear that he felt he had zero obligation to the woman. “I’m not in a relationship,” the rapper said. “Some people delusional. I am a free man. I am God’s creation. Don’t nobody own me. I ain’t got no cell block number.” Choppa also responded to his ex’s statement about paying for IVF, saying that it was really his way of apologizing for the couple’s previous miscarriage. “[Yeah, I paid for] IVF. I think she worded it wrong,” he said. “I went through IVF because we previously had a miscarriage and that was pretty much my way of another chance at it in a sense.” What do you think? In the brand-new video for “Lock In,” which is included on the deluxe edition of the popular Cottonwood 2 album and landed at #1 on Spotify’s Top Album Chart, NLE Choppa raps over a menacing beat while taking to the streets of London.

The album’s nine brand-new tracks include a remix of the internet sensation “Slut Me Out” with rapper Sexyy Red from St. Louis. The global song topped TikTok’s music chart and most recently debuted in the US Spotify Top 10.

NLE Choppa Shares 9 Songs On “Cottonwood 2 (Deluxe)”

NLE Choppa’s keeping his foot on the gas with the release of Cottonwood 2. Less than a week after his sophomore album dropped, the rapper returned with the official deluxe edition with an additional nine songs. With the original tracklist in tact, Choppa brings on a few more collaborations and solo tracks to extend the project. The Sexyy Red-assisted “Slut Me Out” remix appears on Cottonwood 2. He previously released a video for the record that went viral. Additionally, the tracklist includes “Clyde & Dodo” ft. Gino 2x.

The project also finds NLE Choppa diving deeper into his appreciation for the UK drill scene. He previously made a splash with the release of “In The UK,” an impressive homage to British slang and culture, fused with his Memphis styles. He ups the ante with collaborations alongside ArDee on “Envy,” and Russ Millions for the already-viral record, “Shake It.” Additionally, “God Did” star Fridayy also holds it down with NLE Choppa on “Will Not Lose.”

NLE Choppa Unleashes The Deluxe

The release of Cottonwood 2 already came with a stacked tracklist. NLE Choppa came through with new collaborations alongside features like Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Fivio Foreign, Kevin Gates, and more. The collab with Weezy, specifically, appeared to be something on his bucket list. Just ahead of the release of “Aint Gonna Answer,” Choppa shared a video of himself giving Lil Wayne his flowers. On Wednesday, Choppa appeared alongside Wayne on stage in Boston where he gave him a custom chain.

Hopefully, Choppa plans a tour next. The Memphis-born rapper has shared footage of crowds singing his latest songs back to him word-for-word. NLE Choppa is evidently preparing to elevate his career to new heights, especially after aligning himself with Lil Wayne and exploring international sounds. NLE Choppa Gifts Lil Wayne An Insane Custom Chain At Boston Concert

NLE Choppa and Lil Wayne are forming a tight bond these days. The Memphis rapper hoped that the legendary MC will mentor him in the next chapter of his career, which appears to be the case. During the Boston date of the Welcome To Tha Carter tour, Lil Wayne brought out the Cottonwood 2 rapper to the stage, where they performed their collab record, “Ain’t Gonna Answer.” Before he left, NLE Choppa gifted Weezy in an incredible custom chain as a gift to honor the legacy that he built throughout the years.

“One second, before I head out, right? I wanna show my appreciation for you,” NLE Choppa told Wayne in front of the sold-out crowd. “I remember with the flowers. There was a value with the flower but it was something I really wanted to give you instead of the flowers today, alright? So let me get you right real fast,” he continued. NLE Choppa presented Lil Wayne with a chain inspired by Mount Rushmore that included gold figures that celebrated each era of Weezy’s career, from Tha Block Is Hot to today. 

Lil Wayne & NLE Choppa Perform In Boston

NLE Choppa spurred a viral moment earlier this year when he pulled out a bouquet of flowers, a skateboard, and a personal letter for Lil Wayne. In the note, Choppa explained how much Lil Wayne meant to him as an artist with hopes that they’d develop a little brother-big brother relationship. “I simply wanted to physically gift you these flowers to symbolize my appreciation for you as an artist, an icon, and more importantly, an inspiration,” he wrote in the message. 

Besides NLE Choppa, the Welcome To Tha Carter tour included plenty of guest appearances since it launched earlier this month. In Toronto, Drake popped out as not only a surprise guest but the opening act. He later joined Weezy on stage to perform records like “The Motto.” A week later, Lil Wayne performed at Harlem’s famed Apollo Theater where he brought out Cam’ron to perform “Touch It Or Not” for the first time ever. With a few more dates left, we’re sure that Weezy has more surprises up ​​his sleeve.

Marissa Da’Nae Apologizes After Blasting NLE Choppa

NLE Choppa and Marissa Da’Nae broke up in September 2022. It was an emotional affair, with a tearful video from Da’Nae and a brutally honest response from Choppa. Since then, Choppa has pursued, and been rejected by, both Meagan Good and Ice Spice. Meanwhile, Jela has been fueling rumors by posting some throwbacks of her and Choppa.

However, you can’t keep a good ex down. Today, Da’Nae has come roaring back to relevance with a series of wild accusations. Da’Nae is reportedly pregnant with Choppa’s child and has not taken kindly to his behavior in recent months. Furthermore, she laid down a variety of shocking claims about how Choppa has treated her during the pregnancy.

Da’Nae Goes On Insta Rant About Pregnancy

Taking to Instagram, Da’Nae made a series of incendiary claims. First, she said that she and Choppa “never broke up” and that was only announced so that “y’all would stop sending shit to me and nobody would be in his business anymore.” That was followed by a longer post in which Da’Nae accused Choppa of “constantly tryna holla at folks, take folks on dates and etc but you have failed to show up for your child! That YOU PAID FOR ME TO HAVE!” Da’Nae goes on to claim that “I’ve seen you TWICE MY WHOLE PREGNANCY AND I’M PAST HALF WAY Done!”

Finally, Da’Nae posted an apology of sorts. “I been angry and was angry.” Da’Nae’s final reel addition begins, “I been doing great with handling my emotions, but I failed.” The post goes on to say that Da’Nae will be “going back to putting my energy into my child and I apologize for allowing myself to get so frustrated that I let it run over onto the internet.” Da’Nae concluded the post by saying “I don’t care if you understand, agree, disagree. I was speaking my truth out of hurt and anger but again I am sorry and I should of just kept it to myself.” So while Da’Nae apologized for her explosive rant, she didn’t walk back the claims about Choppa. So what’s the truth? Choppa has been shooting his shot like a man possessed, but is he neglecting some fatherly duties by doing so?
