Beyoncé’s Dubai Performance Saw Nia Long, Kendall Jenner, And Chloe X Halle Looking Their Best

Just a few days ago, Beyoncé made her long-awaited return to the stage. Unfortunately for die-hard fans, the performance took place in Dubai. Several security measures were chiefly put in place to prevent any footage from getting out. However, some attendees still found a way to leak their clips, and the response has been nothing short of amazing.

During her first concert in nearly half a decade, Queen B helped celebrate the opening of the luxurious city’s Atlantis The Royal hotel. While walking the carpet beforehand, she donned a beautiful golden gown. When she later arrived on stage, the mother of three went through various glamorous costume changes.

She performed hits like “XO,” “Crazy In Love,” and “Naughty Girl.” Additionally, there were covers of “At Last” and “Ave Maria,” as well as the live debut of several titles. Among them were “BROWN SKIN GIRL,” which included a surprise appearance from Blue Ivy Carter, as well as “BIGGER.”

Aside from wealthy UAE locals, Beyoncé’s show also attracted a diverse crowd of celebrity friends. Both Chloe and Halle Bailey showed up in support of their long-time mentor. The latter’s beau, rapper DDG, also tagged along. He was looking as dapper as ever in an all-black suit and shoes from Balenciaga.

Elsewhere on the blue carpet, Rebel Wilson was seen in a bright green dress alongside her girlfriend Ramona Agruma. Grey’s Anatomy starlet Ellen Pompeo was also in attendance alongside her husband.

When the actress was asked about her plans for her weekend in Dubai she smartly replied, “My plans are Beyoncé. Then recovering from Beyoncé. Beyoncé is a full weekend event – it’s not just the performance, it’s a week of digesting what she did.”

The hotel’s grand opening and subsequent celebration saw Black Panther‘s Letitia Wright taking in the show too. For her part, she donned a vibrant pink dress and carried a small Prada purse in her hands.

Nia Long Says She’s “Single AF” Following Omarion Dating Rumors

Nia Long spoke out shortly after she was spotted with Omarion at the premiere of her new movie, You People.

Netflix debuted Kenya Barris’ new movie, You People, starring Nia Long, Jonah Hill, and Eddie Murphy during an exclusive event in Los Angeles. As the stars strutted across the red carpet, Nia Long and Omarion crossed paths, embraced one another, and took a picture together.

Afterward, Nia Long walks away but she holds onto Omarion’s hand before pulling him in. However, it was Omarion’s smile afterward that left many under the impression that they might be romantically linked. Or, at least, the singer was ready to shoot his shot.

There’s nothing else that indicates they’re dating besides the short video. However, Twitter wasted little time reacting to the short clip Omarion tweeted.

Though many rooted for Omarion, Long made it clear that she’s single.

“Everybody simmer down,” she wrote before making it evidently clear that she’s still on the market. “I’m single AF.”

Long and Ime Udoka announced their split at the beginning of December following his suspension from the Celtics.

During a September press conference, the Celtics announced they suspended Udoka for violating team policies. Later on, reports emerged that he carried out an intimate relationship with a female staffer.

“I think the most heartbreaking thing about all of this was seeing my son’s face when the Boston Celtics organization decided to make a very private situation public,” Long explained.

However, a rep for the couple confirmed that they “remain fully committed to co-parenting their son [Kez],” who they welcomed together in 2011.

Nia Long Names Her Top 5 Rappers Of All Time

Those “Top Rappers” lists certainly get people talking, and Nia Long is sharing her picks. The actress has been engulfed in a busy season as her new movie, You People, creates a buzz. Additionally, Long also stars in MISSING, and while on the red carpet for the film’s Los Angeles premiere, The Source caught up with the actress and asked her about her music tastes.

When questioned about her Top 5 rappers, the veteran entertainer paid homage to several of the culture’s pioneers and influencers.

“Anything Tribe Called Quest,” she began. “Anything Nas. anything Eric B. & Rakim, anything [Queen] Latifah. I gotta give a shoutout to my female rappers.”

She took a moment to think before adding her final choice.

“Man, who else?” she asked herself. “Heavy D.” Of the late rapper Long said, “That’s my guy. I miss him so much.”

Responses to Long’s picks were met with mixed reviews as she chose all east coast artists. However, the actress was praised by some for excluding Biggie and Tupac Shakur, as those names are common.

Also, Long has made headlines recently, and it hasn’t been for her acting career. After 13 years together, the actress and Boston Celtics coach Ime Udoka split following his cheating scandal.

Omarion Was Seen Holding Hands With Nia Long At The ‘You People’ Premiere And The Men Aren’t Doing Okay

Ime Udoka’s reported infidelity and inappropriate behavior may have lost him his job as the Boston Celtics’ coach and disrupted the team’s post-championship-run season, but at least one person seems to have benefitted from his epic fumble. And that person is Omarion.

Yeah, that’s right. Omarion. R&B singin’ in the rain, fake crip-walkin’, former boy band member, meme-sparking Omarion. But how did he benefit, as he is decidedly not an NBA player? Well, this video from the premiere of Netflix’s race relations romcom You People might clear up that question:

Yup. That’s Nia Long. The fantasy of a million millennials (including J. Cole). The inimitable star who had roles in formative pop culture pillars such as Boyz N The Hood, The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air, Friday, and The Best Man. And she is HOLDING. HANDS. with Omarion.

The men, understandably, are not okay.

Omarion himself seems pretty happy about it, just judging from his expression in the video above.

Meanwhile, You People, which stars Jonah Hill and Lauren London and caught some flak online for its similarities to Sidney Poitier’s 1967 Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner (and it’s less-beloved 2005 remake starring Bernie Mac and Ashton Kutcher), is streaming today on Netflix. It’s… decently funny, especially if you’re actually from L.A., where it’s set. Otherwise, maybe just stick to Poitier’s classic.

Nia Long & Yung Miami You People Premiere

Celebrities came out to play this week as they descended on the red-carpet premiere of You People. All eyes were on Nia Long, who also stars in the film along with Lauren London, Eddie Murphy, and Jonah Hill. Despite a rocky season involving her ex Ime Udoka, Long looked vibrant as she posed with her costars.

It wasn’t just the movie’s stars who made appearances. Others, like Yung Miami, also showed up in their designer fits for the occasion. At one point, Long and Miami crossed paths before fawning over the other.

A video was also shared of the ladies having a little private girl talk as well.

Kenya Barris’s You People will reportedly premiere on Netflix on January 27. For weeks, there has been a bit of pushback on the film. Jonah Hill and Lauren London star as an interracial couple looking to get married. However, he must face her parents, played by Long and Eddie Murphy, before exchanging “I Dos.”

EXCLUSIVE: Nia Long Names Her Top 5 Hip Hop Artists Of All-Time

1O4A9765

Nia Long defines black excellence, and she continues to flourish on and off the big screen. Her newest movie, MISSING, sees herself co-starring alongside 19-year-old Storm Reid in a mystery thriller that will have viewers hanging onto the edge of their seats.

As the follow-up to 2018’s Searching, Missing tells the story of a mom named Grace Allen (played by Nia Long), who goes missing after traveling to Columbia with her boyfriend. Long’s daughter in the film, June, is played by Storm Reid, who’s willing to do whatever it takes to locate her mom. This includes using the power of technology and social media to hack into their emails and personal accounts in an attempt to retrace her mother’s footsteps.

The Source was present for the exclusive red carpet premiere and screening for MISSING, which took place at Alamo Drafthouse in downtown Los Angeles. The evening kicked off on a high note as Storm Reid stepped onto the carpet holding hands with Shedeur Sanders, son of University of Colorado’s head coach and former NFL player Deion Sanders. This was the first time the couple had gone public with their relationship.

Nia Long made her grand entrance shortly after, sporting a stunning green sequined dress paired with gold heels. The long-time actress was nothing but smiles and good spirits, even revealing to another outlet that she’d been dating. This was refreshing to hear, especially given the troubling news the month prior when her husband, Ime Udoka, was suspended as head coach of the Boston Celtic after an affair with a staff member. The two share a son named Kez.

Speaking with The Source, Long agreed with Storm Reid, who stated her best memory on set filming MISSED was chatting with Long about boys.

“Oy my gosh, we talked about boys the whole time,” Long states with a laugh. “That’s all we did, is talk about boys. And I heard she has a new boy; I’m excited. He’s cute! I’m like, okay, I taught her well.”

Additionally, The Source asked Long who her top five artists are of all time.

“Ooh, don’t do this to me. Anything Tribe Called Quest. Anything Nas. Anything Latifah, I gotta give a shout-out to my female rappers. Who else? Heavy D. That’s my guy; I miss him so much.”

MISSING hits theaters nationwide on January 20th.

Nia Long Responds To Stephen A. Smith’s Ime Udoka-Celtics Take

Nia Long went through an incredibly difficult personal hardship a few months ago. Of course, this is because she was cheated on by former Boston Celtics head coach Ime Udoka. Udoka cheated with a Celtics staffer, which subsequently led to the team making this a public matter.

In the aftermath of all of this, many felt like the Celtics were wrong to make any of this for public consumption. Consequently, Long felt the exact same way, given that this affected her and her son. Overall, it was just a horrible situation for her family, and there is certainly a lot of trauma associated with it.

Nia Long Responds To Stephen A.

During a recent red carpet event for “The Best Man: The Final Chapters,” Stephen A. Smith was asked about the Udoka scandal. This led to a strong response from the First Take host, who felt that it was bizarre for the Celtics to make this public.

“I know of many instances where individuals have had situations occur within the organization and it was never publicized,” Smith said. “It was never a press conference. It was never anything that was broadcast publically about it. But in this situation, it was. If I’m [Long], I’m furious for a multitude of reasons, obviously. But especially that one.”

Subsequently, Long was asked about Smith’s take on all of this. As you can imagine, she agreed heavily with what Stephen A. had to say.

“Absolutely, 100 percent, he was the first person who said it. I agree with it,” Long replied. “It’s been incredibly difficult for me to manage all of that while working and trying to be a mom and trying to find the humanity in all of it.”

This remains a developing story, so stay tuned to HNHH for all of the latest news and updates. Additionally, let us know what you think about Long and Stephen A.’s remarks, in the comments below.
