Nia Long’s Fake “Son” Arrested For Hitting Stranger With Tent Pole

Last weekend, a man was arrested in Santa Monica for assaulting a stranger in a park with a tent pole. The man told officials that he was Nia Long’s 23-year-old son, Massai Dorsey II. That was later proven to be false. His name is actually Tamir Rasool Morris, and he has no connection to Long or her son.

It’s unclear why he attempted to pose as Dorsey, but it’s possible that he thought being related to a celebrity would lessen his consequences. Unfortunately for him, that was also proven to be false. On top of assault with a deadly weapon, he was booked for false impersonation. Reportedly, he was able to provide authorities with Dorsey’s correct birthday, but was off by two years. They later took his fingerprints, which revealed his true identity.

Man Poses As Nia Long’s Son During Arrest

Authorities think he managed to get Dorsey’s information from social media, and emphasize that Nia Long’s real son wasn’t at all involved. At the moment, the impersonator is behind bars. As for Long, the mother of two recently reflected on the year she’s had, revealing her biggest regret of 2023. According to her, it was losing out on an opportunity to see Usher perform at his iconic Las Vegas My Way residency. Luckily for her, he plans to make a return in the new year.

“My only regret this year is missing @Usher in Vegas (sad eyes emoji),” she Tweeted last week. Usher responded, telling her, “Don’t worry, I’ll be back in Vegas on 2/11 (winky face emoji).” While some fans thought he was hinting at an extension of his residency, the date he provided coincides with the Super Bowl. What do you think of this man hitting a stranger with a tent pole and then trying to pose as Nia Long’s son? Cam’ron Reveals Nia Long Still Hasn’t Opened His Poetic DM

Cam’ron is someone who doesn’t shy away from being a massive troll. Although not everyone is appreciative of his trolling, there are quite a few out there who love it. He is mostly a troll over on It Is What It Is where he has reunited with Ma$e. Ultimately, these two have continued to give us great sports content, and it has been fun watching them. That said, when it comes to their sports show, they also try and stay in tune with popular culture. Something they did with the Nia Long and Ime Udoka situation.

In fact, when Udoka first got in trouble Cam’ron decided that it would be a good idea to send a message to Nia Long. Of course, his intentions in doing this were crystal clear. He was trying to get her attention so that he could someday be with her. Recently, Cam took to social media where he revealed just how long ago it was that he sent the message. Essentially, he did so about a year ago. However, as he notes in the IG caption, she has yet to even open it. At this point, she probably never will.

Cam’ron Shows Off His Prose

As you can see from the above Instagram post, Cam got extremely poetic with this. He serenaded Nia and was very complimentary to her. However, it is easy to see why she may just be a little weirded out by the whole thing. After all, it happened so soon after the stuff with Ime, she probably wasn’t completely over it by then. Either way, you have to appreciate Cam for at least trying here. He shot his shot and he ended up missing like Steph Curry when the game is truly on the line.

Let us know what you thought of Cam’s message to Nia Long? Was this way too much or was it a good attempt at romance? Let us know what you think, in the comments section below. Usher’s My Way vegas residency has recently come to an end, and many people are feeling the sadness of not having had a chance to attend. In an unexpected turn of events, Usher and actress Nia Long found themselves at the center of a Twitter encounter that has left fans guessing about the R&B icon’s next move. It all started when Nia Long shared her only regret of the year on Twitter: “My only regret this year is missing @Usher in Vegas (sad eyes emoji).” Little did she know, Usher himself would step into the conversation. Usher responded to Nia’s regret, stating, “Don’t worry, I’ll be back in Vegas on 2/11 (winky face emoji).” However, the plot thickened as fans dissected the message, realizing that his mention of February 11 coincided with the date of the Super Bowl. The intriguing exchange left fans in a state of curiosity, with many trying to figure out Usher’s intentions. Was he hinting at an unexpected encore in Vegas, or was he slyly redirecting attention to his upcoming Super Bowl halftime show? Nia Long’s tweet resonated with fans who understood the feeling of missing out on Usher’s Vegas residency. After all, there were several, several iconinc moments that came out of his residency. To name a few, the time he had a playful moment with Keke Palmer, the time 21 Savage joined Usher for a rendition of “My Boo,” or the time he brought out Nas to perform with him. Nia Long’s 7 Biggest Movies

Nia Long’s career in the entertainment industry began in the late ‘80s. Since then, the actress has starred in an impressive number of movies and TV shows. From her breakout film role in Boyz N The Hood to 2023’s thriller, Missing, Nia Long has built an extensive catalog over the years. Moreover, her career has also been diverse, spanning various genres. Still killing it almost four decades later, Long is arguably more stunning and versatile than ever. However, it’s no secret that she is still grossly underrated as an actress.

Nonetheless, Nia Long shows no signs of taking her foot off the gas, and it’s always worth recognizing her talents. Even though she’s still everyone’s crush, her star power on screen is undeniable. Throughout her time in the industry, Long has also starred in a number of box office hits. While we wait, with fingers crossed in hopes for more from the actress, here’s a list of her seven biggest films to date.

7. Are We Done Yet? (2007)

With Ice Cube reprising his role as Nick Persons, this family comedy film is a sequel to the 2005 movie Are We There Yet? The story picks up where the last movie left off after Nick marries Nia Long’s character, Suzanne. Along with Suzanne’s two children from a previous marriage, the couple start living together as a family. However, in their cramped apartment, it’s impossible to conveniently accommodate all four of them. As a result, following Suzanne’s revelation that a baby is on the way, the family moves to a bigger home in the suburbs. Unfortunately, what seemed to be the perfect house turns out to be a massive fixer-upper, and is a lot more than Nick signed up for. Are We Done Yet? is a hilarious movie, and was loved by viewers upon its release. The film grossed $58.4 million at the box office.

6. The Best Man Holiday (2013)

Featuring a phenomenal cast of talented stars, The Best Man Holiday is a sequel that goes above and beyond expectations. Over a decade after The Best Man (1999) was released, this comedy-drama sequel reunited the beloved characters from the first film. The story follows the friends, now in their 40s, as they come together for a Christmas celebration at Lance (Morris Chestnut) and Mia’s (Monica Calhoun) house. The reunion brings joy, but it also stirs up old rivalries and unresolved issues. Making $72.8 million at the box office, this sequel grossed more than the original movie.

5. Stigmata (1999)

Stigmata is a supernatural horror film directed by Rupert Wainwright. The main cast consists of Patricia Arquette, Gabriel Byrne, Jonathan Pryce, Nia Long, Rade Šerbedžija, and Enrico Colantoni. After receiving a rosary as a gift from her mother, Frankie (Arquette) begins to experience strange and terrifying phenomena. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she starts exhibiting signs of stigmata, which are the wounds of Christ, such as bleeding from the wrist or feet. In the movie, Nia Long takes on the role of Frankie’s best friend, Donna Chadway. Despite the outrage from several Catholic circles upon the film’s release, Stigmata was a box-office success. It earned $89.4 million, making it one of Long’s highest-grossing films.

4. Are We There Yet? (2005)

Before their big move in Are We Done Yet?, Suzanne’s two kids went on a thrilling and hilarious road trip with their soon-to-be step-father. In this story, Nick (Ice Cube) meets Suzanne (Long), a divorced mother of two. Nick is attracted to Suzanne, but she is hesitant to enter a new relationship. Despite Suzanne’s reservations, Nick offers to drive her children from Portland to Vancouver to spend New Year’s Eve with their mother. However, the trip doesn’t quite go as smoothly as Nick hopes as the kids sabotage him at every turn. However, as the trip progresses, the trio develops a newfound understanding and bond. Are We There Yet? grossed $98 million worldwide.

Jeezy Revealed That He Was Sexually Abused As A Child

In recent years, more and more of hip-hop’s vanguard artists, reaching the nostalgic memoir portion of their careers, have revealed that they confronted sexual abuse in their pasts. Common, Jim Jones, Kevin Gates, and more have come out with their realizations that they weren’t ready for some of the sexual encounters that were forced onto them in childhood and publicly reckoned with the effects that could have on their mature relationships.

Jeezy has added himself to that list, detailing how his trauma affected him in an hour-long interview with Nia Long about his new album, I Might Forgive… But I Don’t Forget. “I think the first [example of trauma] was being left with a babysitter that was a woman that was older than me,” he admits in the video, “And her, you know, touching me and doing things to me that don’t normally happen to kids… I was introduced to sex at a very young age.”

He also talks about his recent divorce from Jeannie Mai after the birth of their child together, saying, “I can tell you that this has not been an easy journey. I can tell you that I’m saddened. I can tell you that I’m disappointed. I can tell you that I’m uneasy, right? But, again, God has put me on a different path, and that path is going to entail for me to take care of myself and to love myself and to be in the best situation that I can thrive as someone who’s been through all of the things that I’ve been through.”

Still, he denies that infidelity plays a part, quoting, “Real n****s don’t cheat,” from the chorus of his new track “Don’t Cheat.”

At one point in the conversation, the two were discussing their recent breakups. Long was married to NBA coach Ime Udoka prior to news of an alleged affair, while Jeezy recently filed for divorce from Jeannie Mai.

“You gotta know when it’s time to be done,” Long said. “And that’s usually not about another person, an affair, or some chick that’s willing to make you feel like a king, because that’s why most men cheat.” In response, Jeezy remarked: “That’s fascinating to me. This is my quote, ‘Real n****s don’t cheat.’ … It’s something in us that makes us want to be right across the board.”

Nia Long on Her Public Breakup: 'I Think I'm Exactly Where I Need to Be'

Nia Long spoke about her public breakup from Ime Udoka in a conversation with Jeezy, centered on their growth in association with Sno’s new album, I Might Forgive… But I Don’t Forget.

“My older son saw me trying to keep the family together but I had to come to a place where loving myself was bigger and more important than saving anybody,” Long said.

She added, “I think I’m exactly where I need to be. Somedays I’m totally good and other days it’s ‘oh my God, this is so much work.’ Other days it’s women shouldn’t have to be this strong.”

From there, Long teared up and stated, “it is what it is.”

You can see the moment and full conversation below.

In August, Nia Long asked for primary custody of the son she shares with Houston Rockets head coach Ime Udoka. According to TMZ, Long claims Udoka is not active in supporting the kid.

A new filing in Los Angeles court shows a request for primary legal and physical custody of their shared 11-year-old son, Kez. Long also asked for Udoka to visit their child in what is “consistent with the child’s best interest.”

Udoka has not yet responded to the request, and a ruling is pending.

In May, Udoka received his new job and many want to know what his former lover, Nia Long, had to say about it. Over the weekend, Long fired off a small statement.

“The best revenge, is no revenge, Move on. Be happy,” Long wrote.

The comment comes after Long thanked Stephen A. Smith for his thoughts about her following Udoka’s hiring.

“If you mention him and another woman, inevitably, she’s going to come up,” Smith said. “How come nobody thought about the sister? How come they just left her out there standing on her own? I will always defend her. I will always defend her on this issue.”

Long’s message to Stephen A.: “Thank you @stephenasmith for your support. TBC… ‘The most disrespected person in America is the black woman’ – Malcolm X.”

The revelation that Jeezy and Jeannie Mai had attempted therapy as a means of salvaging their relationship highlights the complexities that can arise in even the most committed partnerships. While therapy has been a valuable resource for many couples facing challenges, it’s clear that, in some cases, the issues at hand prove insolvable. According to Jeezy, no amount of work was going to save their marriage.

The news of the divorce came in September, where it was revealed that Jeezy was the one who called it quits. While the two have been quiet about the actual reasons for the divorce, fans have speculated online. Earlier this month, Jeezy announced a double album called I Might Forgive … But I Don’t Forget. He might be revealing it all on the 29-track project. However, fans couldn’t help but notice that the 13th song on the album, “Don’t Cheat,” was an interesting title. The song’s lyrics denounce cheating, a topic that, while not explicitly linked to his divorce, has drawn speculations online. Furthermore, Jeezy continued the interview with Long on a positive note. “God has put me on a different path,” he said.
