Tom Brady officially retired from football on Wednesday morning. This was a massive announcement that completely shook the football world to its core. Of course, this is one of those things that was expected. Overall, Brady had played 23 seasons in the NFL and was 45 years old. Moreover, his play declined this past year, which meant that retirement was probably the best thing to do for his legacy. Either way, Brady will now get to go down as the greatest football player ever.

While Brady retired as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, there is no doubt that he will mainly be remembered for his time with the New England Patriots. The man helped them win a grand total of six Super Bowls in 20 seasons. Overall, this was an insane output that will forever be remembered by fans. According to CNN, Kraft has revealed that he will offer Brady a one-day contract so that he can retire as a Patriot. When Brady initially left the Patriots, it didn’t seem to be on the best of terms. However, Kraft seems very eager to get Brady back with the team, if only for one day. “Not only do I want it, our fans are clamoring for it,” Kraft said. “To us, he is always has been and always will be a Patriot. We will do everything in our power to bring him back, have him sign off as a Patriot, and find ways to honor him for many years to come.”

Overall, it will be up to Brady as to whether or not this actually happens. At this point, it seems like more of a shot in the dark than anything else. Regardless, there is no doubt that Patriots fans would love this. Hopefully, Brady at least considers it. It would be a great way for him to go out.

Subsequently, fans have begun questioning what Brady will do next. After all, he has played in the NFL for 23 years. That is a very long time and he is probably used to everything that comes with being in the league. Unfortunately for Brady, he will have to unlearn some of his habits from the past. According to TMZ, Brady already has some immediate plans in place. For starters, he simply wants to take a few months off. After his divorce from Gisele, Brady is looking to be a father to his children. Football is a huge commitment, and consequently, he hadn’t seen his kids as often as he would have hoped. Additionally, it seems like his Fox deal will have to wait. Once again, Brady is just living life right now and enjoying his post-NFL world.

Colin Kaepernick got a very rough deal when it comes to his time in the NFL. During his first few years with the San Francisco 49ers, he was the man. Overall, he brought the team to a Super Bowl and even orchestrated a second-half comeback that almost won them the whole thing. However, his career eventually took a turn. The 49ers started to decline and after protesting racial inequality by kneeling during the anthem, Kap found himself out of the league. Today, it is still seen as one of the biggest injustices in the history of the NFL.

Regardless, Colin Kaepernick continues to fight for what he believes in. While he still hasn’t gotten that second NFL opportunity, he still works hard whenever he gets the chance. It is clear to everyone that he remains in good shape, and one can only imagine how he would play if he were back in the league. For now, fans will simply have to dream.

Iconic Colin Kaepernick Jersey Hits Auction

Now, according to Heritage Auctions, a Kaepernick jersey from his 2013 playoff run is being sold at auction. In fact, this is a game-worn and signed jersey from the Divisional Round win against the Green Bay Packers. Overall, Kaepernick was a force in this game. He threw for 263 yards while additionally running for another 181. Moreover, he scored a grand total of four touchdowns. Interestingly enough, Kaepernick even added his stats to his signature on the jersey, which adds something unique to the memorabilia.

As it stands, Heritage Auctions is expecting this to go for a price of $40,000. For now, fans can begin bidding on this, and the auction will eventually end on February 25th. During this appearance, Foster was hit with the allegation that the NFL is rigged and scripted. Of course, this is a notion that has been espoused for years, however, mainly as a joke. In the clip below, Foster decided to take the joke further and offered a deadpan analysis of the league. As you will hear, he agrees that the NFL is rigged and that all players are handed a script at the beginning of the season.

Fans thought that this was pretty funny, and they ultimately went along with the joke. Subsequently, Twitter became filled with hilarious memes about potential scripts. Overall, it made for some great viewing on Twitter. As it turns out, the memes are still being produced right now, and it is probably causing some commotion in the NFL offices.

At this point, everyone knows that the league isn’t actually rigged. It is easily one of the more baseless conspiracies out there. Eagles OL Josh Sills Indicted On Rape & Kidnapping Charges: Details

Josh Sills, an offensive lineman for the Philadelphia Eagles, is now facing some very serious charges ahead of the Super Bowl. According to TMZ, Sills was recently indicted on kidnapping and rape charges. Overall, this is huge news given the fact the Super Bowl is in 10 days.

Officials have stated that Sills was being investigated for an alleged incident that occurred in Ohio back in December of 2019. As per the report, Sills allegedly engaged in non-consensual sex and additionally kept the woman against her wishes.

Although these are some pretty massive chargers, the Eagles have yet to issue a response. For now, it seems like they are waiting for more information, especially given the circumstances. Moreover, it is important to note that Sills is currently a rookie reserve lineman, which means it is uncertain as to what his status will be for next Sunday.

For now, Sills will have to continue cooperating with officials as the case moves forward. On February 16th, Sills will be going t court, which just so happens to be days following the big game.

In the Twitter clip down below, Sharpe can be heard commenting on Brady’s retirement. Overall, Shannon is not surprised by this decision. As he explains, Brady was not great this year, and it was the right call to leave before things get worse.

“It’s tough to walk away from something you love, but I think this is the right thing to do,” Sharpe said.

Although Sharpe made some great points, there was no doubt that Bayless was going to disagree. Bayless felt as though Brady was probably going to come back. However, he was proven wrong. Now, Bayless seems to think this retirement decision is final.

Brock Purdy Hit With Lengthy Recovery Timeline

Brock Purdy and the San Francisco 49ers were desperately trying to get themselves a win on Sunday. However, their hopes were not answered. In the end, they lost by an embarrassing score of 31-7. Overall, it knocked them out of the playoffs as the Eagles are now off to the Super Bowl.

Purdy was hit in the elbow in the first half and could no longer throw the ball. Subsequently, Josh Johnson came in and eventually got hit in the head. From there, Purdy had to come back in, but couldn’t even throw the ball. Needless to say, it was a disaster for everyone.

Brock Purdy Diagnosis

Following the injury, Purdy was evaluated by doctors. Following the evaluation, it was revealed that Purdy has a torn UCL. Consequently, he will now have to be out for a grand total of six months. Furthermore, he may even have to get surgery to repair the damage.

According to Adam Schefter, Purdy is seeking a second opinion on the matter. The 49ers want him to get the surgery, although it looks like Purdy wants an independent doctor. Either way, this is bad news for the quarterback.

Purdy was a great story this season as he came in and went undefeated up until the NFC Championship game. There was this sense that he could go from the last pick in the draft to Super Bowl champion in less than a year. However, he will have to wait until next year to get another chance.
