Cardi B Watches Yacht Sink on Vacation

Cardi B is sending out an SOS.

The rapper witnessed a yacht sink before her very eyes, capturing the wild moment on social media. Cardi was enjoying her vacation in a beachfront villa on Saturday when she saw the boat go underwater. She filmed the shipwreck while adding her own hilarious commentary in a series of Instagram Stories.

“It’s sinking! Y’all see this?!” said a shocked Cardi before calling for help. “There ain’t no big boat that could save it?”

As the doomed yacht slipped further into the sea, she realized all hope was gone. “It’s gone! Bye bye!”

According to Cardi, no one was on board. “A whole yacht sinked in front of our face,” she captioned her video. “Luckily no one was in there.”

It appears that Cardi was on vacation in Cabo with Offset when it all went down. Their Memorial Day festivities also included a feast of food and a dance party. Offset showed off his moves to Kendrick Lamar’s new song “Rich Spirit” as his wife filmed on her phone.

Cardi, who appeared on David Letterman’s “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction,” recently teamed up with Kay Flock on the drill star’s single “Shake It.”

Next up, she plans to drop her own single from her long-awaited sophomore album. “My next single is super pressure,” she told fans.

A startling noise inside the Barclays Center sent people scrambling to escape what they feared was an active shooter early Sunday morning.

The chaos erupted around 1 a.m. after the boxing match between Gervonta “Tank” Davis and Rolando “Rolly” Romero. Videos posted on social media show terrified people scrambling and looking for cover.

Tennis star Naomi Osaka was at the Barclays, and tweeted that she was “petrified” as people yelled that there was an active shooter.

Rolando Romero went down in round 6 with a power knockout from Gervonta Davis’ left hand.

At least 15 people suffered minor injuries in the panic. Police determined that no shots were fired inside or outside the venue.

Could NYC Mayor Eric Adams Be Eyeing Presidential Bid In 2024?

NYC Mayor Eric Adams reportedly has his sights set on the White House. The New York Post reports City Hall insiders say the 61-year-old Democrat believes the national party has swung too far to the left, and that he has a platform to win the presidency in 2024.

The paper quotes an elected official in Brooklyn with ties to the mayor, who says Adams is “considering a White House run” if President Biden does not seek re-election.

Should Adams run, he would be the fourth consecutive New York City mayor to seek the nation’s highest office, following in the footsteps of Bill de Blasio, Michael Bloomberg and Rudy Giuliani.

According to the New York Post, Mayor Adams commented on the topic previously and said he is not interested in focusing on a presidential campaign.

“That’s a silly, silly story. I never had a conversation about that and I love being mayor, and you can run the country from New York City. I’m the mayor. That’s all I’m focused on.”

Mattel Creates Barbie Modeled After Transgender Actress Laverne Cox

A new Barbie doll is being made in the likeness of transgender actress Laverne Cox.

Mattel said Wednesday it worked directly with Cox to create a Barbie that fit in closely with her style.

The limited-edition Tribute Barbie comes with a red gown, heeled boots, a metallic bodysuit and silver earrings, and will be available Tuesday at Amazon, Walmart, Target and MattelCreations.com for $39.99..

In a statement, Cox said it’s been a dream of hers for years to work with Barbie to create her own doll so that fans can have the opportunity to add a Barbie modeled after a transgender person to their collection.

“It’s been a dream for years to work with Barbie to create my own doll. I can’t wait for fans to find my doll on shelves and have the opportunity to add a Barbie doll modeled after a transgender person to their collection.”

Also included the Barbie Tribute Collection are bridal dress designer Vera Wang wearing a black one-piece outfit modeled after her Spring 2017 collection. Comedian and star of the 1950s television show I Love Lucy, Lucille Ball and Queen Elizabeth II.

In honor of Cox’s Barbie doll, Mattel will make a donation in her name to the nonprofit TransFamilySOS.
