King Yella Admits To Cocaine Addiction In Unhinged Instagram Rant: Watch

King Yella is one of the blunt rappers on the planet. There isn’t a topic he’s afraid to discuss. He’s been open about his GD affiliations and the attempt he made on his life in 2023. That said, fans were still taken aback by King Yella’s honesty on August 20. The rapper decided to get on Instagram Live and freely talk about the fact that he has a cocaine addiction. Not only that, but King Yella claims that he’s perfectly content with his addiction, and claims to be on cocaine at the time of the video’s recording.

Oftentimes there’s wiggle room with regards to a rapper’s intent. We don’t want to imply or mislead the reader into thinking they are saying something they really aren’t. King Yella requires no such handling. He came right out and advocated for cocaine use during his IG Live. “Ain’t nothing wrong with cocaine,” the rapper stated. “I love cocaine, that sh*t having me blitzed.” The rapper proceeded to get closer to the camera as he talked. He eventually gets so close than the viewer can see up his nostrils. This isn’t an accident. “I’m on coke right now,” King Yella asserted. “I’m coke, I’m a f*cking cokehead. So what?”

King Yella Asked IG Followers To Help Him Score Coke

Like we said, direct. King Yella pivoted from pontificating on cocaine use to asking commenters who has more for him. “Who got the cocaine,” he asked while scanning the comment section. “Yeah, I’m for real. I want some cocaine, n**ga. Y’all know y’all got good cocaine in Miami!” The rapper punctuated his final statement with a snorting sound meant to emulate the sound of, well, snorting coke. The rant goes off the rails from there, with King Yella detailing what he’d like to do while on the white substance. He also voiced a desire to try a “pink” variation that is allegedly in Miami.

In case anyone was unsure of what King Yella was getting at, the caption doubled down. The rapper proceeded to ask viewers if they could help him score since he hadn’t had the drug in a long time. “I need help lately I been off cocaine do y’all have some,” he wrote. Alternatively, and unnervingly, Yella asked whether anybody could help him kick his habit. “Get me some help because that drug feel so great to me I feel like Superman off it,” he concluded. Hopefully help arrives.

Nelly’s “Hot In Herre” Used To Diss Donald Trump During DNC: Watch

The Democratic National Convention had jokes. There were lots of puns and subtle jabs, and not so subtle jabs. All of them were at the expense of Donald Trump. Steve Kerr utilized Steph Curry’s iconic “Night Night” gesture to inform Trump that his campaign was over. A less expected diss, however, came from United Automobile Workers President Shawn Fain. Fain stepped to the stage before removing his jacket and quoting the iconic Nelly single “Hot In Herre.” He not only dropped the title of the song, but referred to the St. Louis rapper as an “American poet.”

Shawn Fain has been a long time supporter of Kamala Harris. His opposition to Donald Trump is not a surprise by any means. What was surprising was the way Fain chose to showcase his disdain. Rather than state the obvious, the UAW President decided to go the comedic route. He removed his jacket to reveal a graphic t-shirt with the text: “Trump is a scab.” The Nelly reference came about as an excuse to remove the jacket. “In the words of the great American poet Nelly,” Fain stated. “It’s getting hot in here.” The shirt (and the quote) drew raucous applause from the DNC audience.

Nelly Criticized Donald Trump’s Presidential Run In 2017

Nelly has actually given his own thoughts on Donald Trump in the past. He famously name dropped the President on his 2000 single “Rid Wit Me,” and told Page Six that he didn’t mind Trump as a celebrity. It was when Trump went into politics that the rapper had a problem. “He doesn’t surprise me as a person,” Nelly told the outlet. “He surprises me as a president because you don’t expect certain things, certain attitudes.” Nelly also lamented the fact that Trump’s politics made it undesirable for him to stay at the Trump Tower. “I’m more or less mad at him because I can’t stay at his hotels now,” the rapper quipped. “I’ve been staying there for 15 years, and now you pull this?”

Nelly has had his own problems as of late. The rapper was arrested for an outstanding traffic warrant on August 8. There were reports that he was going to be charged with possession, due to the fact that four ecstasy pills were found on his person, but he was subsequently released. Nelly bounced back and was welcomed onstage at an MGK concert a few days later. Nelly performed “Air Force Ones” and MGK took time to praise the rapper for his impact on the culture. Not a bad welcome back after a jail stint.

Lil Jon Shocks Fans With Surprise Performance At DNC Roll Call: Watch

Rappers have come out of the woodwork to support Kamala Harris. She’s proven immensely talented with musicians, and day two of the Democratic National Convention bore this out. During the roll call on Tuesday, each U.S. state was introduced by a DJ. Said state would then announce how their delegates would cast their vote. When it came time for Georgia to be introduced, the DJ set turned into a full on performance from Lil Jon. The crunk legend emerged from the audience at the top of United Center Stadium and put on a wildly entertaining show for his home state.

Lil Jon performed his 2014 single “Turn Down for What.” He treated audience members to his signature “YEAHHHH!” catchphrase before turning his focus to Kamala Harris. “Ladies and gentlemen, we are here tonight to officially nominate Kamala Harris for president,” he explained. “We’re not going back!” If Lil Jon using his music to hype up Harris wasn’t enough, he did the same for Vice President nominee Tim Walz. Jon segued into a performance of his 2004 classic “Get Low,” and tweaked the lyrics to reference the VP hopeful’s last name. “To the windowwww,” he rapped. “To the Walz!”

Lil Jon Has Been Openly Critical Of Donald Trump

Lil Jon has been a longtime supporter of Kamala Harris. Interestingly enough, he also has a relationship with Harris’ opponent, Donald Trump. Lil Jon appeared on Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice show back in 2013. He did not enjoy his interactions with the future President. The ATL rapper confirmed that Trump called him “Uncle Tom” during the show’s production. “I addressed Trump immediately when we heard the comment,” Lil Jon explained in a 2016 statement. “I can’t say if he knew what he was actually saying or not. But he did stop using that term once we explained it’s (sic) offensiveness.”

Lil Jon went on to clarify that he does not support Trump’s policies as a politician. “I also want to be clear,” he concluded. “That I don’t agree with many of the statements Mr. Trump has said during his current run for President.” When a Twitter user asked the rapper to offer support for Trump’s second presidential campaign, his response could not have been more clear. “How about f*ck noooooo,” he wrote back.

Nicki Minaj Hints At Upcoming Tour Dedicated To Mixtape Releases

Nicki Minaj may have dozens of classic singles on her albums, but she made a name for herself on the mixtape circuit. She dropped beloved releases like Sucka Free and Beam Me Up, Scotty in the late 00s, before linking up with Young Money. Minaj has rarely looked back at this period of her career, but a new tweet from the rapper suggests that is going to change. She was discussing set list preferences with her fans on social media, and hinted at the possibility of an upcoming mixtape tour.

Nicki Minaj asked what songs her fans wanted to her during her current Pink Friday 2 tour. Of course, fans flooded the comment section with suggestions. When one Barb suggested a song from Minaj’s mixtape days, though, the rapper pushed back against the idea. The reason? She’s saving the song for something down the line. “We’ll save that for the mixtape tour guys,” she wrote. “Another idea I had a while back.” She included a playful gif of Prince with the tweet, suggesting she knew good and well that her fans would freak out over the news. The rapper was right.

Nicki Minaj Added Her Breakout Tape To Streaming In 2021

Nicki Minaj has looked fondly upon her mixtapes in recent years. The rapper released an abbreviated version of Beam Me Up, Scotty on streaming platforms in 2021. She explained her rationale for the drop during an Instagram Live. “This is just to get back to the basics a little bit,” she noted. “To the essence of why I started rapping.” There was also a pointed effort to bring back “mixtape Nicki” on her most recent album, Pink Friday 2. “I’m creating music like how I used to create music,” she told Power 98.3. “When I first started rapping on mixtapes… Being in the moment, staying present in the moment and seeing what happens.”

Nicki Minaj has also flirted with the notion of dropping another mixtape in the vein of her Young Money brother, Drake. Minaj told Paper Magazine that she nearly recorded a joint mixtape with Future back in 2017. Unfortunately, plans for the release ultimately fell through. “It’s very hard to make those types of ideas come to fruition,” she explained. “But when they do come together like the Jay and Kanye West [project], then it’s magic for sure.” Hopefully Nicki Minaj follows through with her mixtape tour plans.

Jennifer Lopez Files For Divorce From Ben Affleck On Wedding Anniversary

Jennifer Lopez decided she’d had enough. The celebrity filed for divorce from Ben Affleck on August 20. TMZ broke the bombshell news, which had been a source of speculation and debate for months. Lopez reportedly handled the divorce proceedings herself, instead of going through a lawyer. She filed in L.A. County Superior Court, and the day she chose is seemingly very intentional. August 20 marks two years to the day that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck got married in a lavish Georgia ceremony. The couple had already tied the knot in a private ceremony, but the Georgia wedding proved to be the one that grabbed the headlines.

There was no prenup between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. TMZ claims that sources close to the couple have confirmed this. This means neither outlined how their shared belongings will be divvied up. Consequently, their belongings over the last two years will become community property. The pop star and actress reportedly waived child support in her divorce proceedings. Lopez requested the same be done for Affleck. The details of the divorce may be surprising, but the divorce itself is not. Rumors have persisted for months that Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were cutting ties with each other.

Jennifer Lopez Does Not Have A Prenup With Affleck

OK Magazine claimed Ben Affleck was expecting a divorce three days before it was official. “Ben’s vowed to let her file for divorce in her own time,” a source told the outlet. “Until that happens, he’ll continue to wear his ring.” The source also noted that the Batman v Superman star was the one who initiated the split in the first place. “Ben is being as respectful of J. Lo as he can right now,” they said. “Since he was the one that left. But he’s moving forward with his life.”

Neither Jennifer Lopez nor Ben Affleck have spoken publicly about their split. Both, however, have been open about the reasons they split in the first place. The couple dated from 2002 to 2004, before calling off their engagement. “I think Jen and I made a mistake in that we fell in love, we were excited and maybe too accessible,” Affleck told the Irish Examiner in 2008. Affleck also admitted to being overwhelmed by Jennifer Lopez’s fame during a 2024 appearance on Hart to Heart. “She’s so famous, and people love her,” he noted. “You know what I mean?”

Beyonce’s New Whiskey Has Already Won Awards Before Its Release

Beyonce is the rare artist who seemingly moves from one success to another. She dominated the 2000s, then switched up her style in the 2010s. More acclaim. Not enough? How many genre experiments in the 2020s that have been met with even more acclaim? Beyonce knows what she’s doing, and her winning streak will seemingly continue with her new whiskey brand. The brand is called SirDavis, and will mark Beyonce’s first venture into the world of liquor. Incredibly, SirDavis is already an award-winning brand.

It’s reasonable to ask how. The common line of thinking is that a whiskey has to be available before it can be entered into competitions, much less win. Beyonce’s team apparently pulled a fast one. In an effort to avoid bias for or against the pop star, her team submitted SirDavis under a pseudonym. SirDavis went to 2023 whiskey contest under the pseudonym “Davis Hogue Distilling Company” and managed to take home multiple awards. It won the Gold Medal at the NY Intl Spirits Competition, Best of Class at the SIP Awards and a prestigious “Highly Recommended” rating at at the Ultimate Spirits Challenge.

Beyonce Named The Brand After Her Great Grandfather

SirDavis may have been sprung on the public, but it’s something Beyonce has been working on for years. At least, that’s what she said in a press release. “I’ve always been drawn to the power and confidence I feel when drinking quality whiskey,” she wrote. “And [I] wanted to invite more people to experience that feeling.” Beyonce partnered with Moët Hennessy to bring SirDavis to life, which is named after her great grandfather, Davis Hogue. “We have crafted a delicious American whiskey that respects tradition,” the pop star added. “But also empowers people to experience something new and unique in the category.”

Beyonce is famous for her strict regimen, which includes drinking a gallon of water a day. She did claim that she was not very much fun to be around when she drank alcohol, though. “Well, I don’t drink often,” she told Chinamail in 2009. “But when I am drunk, I am very quiet and I observe and I go to sleep. I don’t think I am much fun.” Despite her own habits, it’s ultimately fitting that the singer behind “Drink In Love” has a liquor brand of her.

Woody a fool, and he live across the street from me.” No Jumper reshared the message on Instagram on Tuesday.

He recently caught attention for asking the judge if he can show up late for court, firing his own lawyer on the stand, and more. “Like I told you before y’all called me to trial, I have lied,” Woody said. “I made things up. I told you this before y’all brought me in this courtroom, and I’m telling you now. You asked me about 2015. I had got my life together. Y’all are trying to put this on my conscience, y’all are trying to put people’s lives in my hands. I don’t wanna be here. Big Sean Drops Grim Visuals For “Yes” Single

If things check out, we should be receiving Big Sean’s brand-new album Better Me Than You on August 31. Of course, fans were supposed to have their hands on the tape back on August 9. However, thanks to the good old leaking community, Sean decided to make some minor adjustments beforehand. That’s we and a lot of other believe, however the Detroit MC pushed it back due to wanting to plan out concerts and such. That very well may be true, but with leaks ruining so many things from dropping on schedule or at all, we feel that’s what is going on here. Depending on how you look at it, Sean was able to drop another single this past weekend with The Alchemist.

Currently, we are up to four teaser tracks, which also include “Yes”, “Precision”, and “On Up”. Out of all the ones we have heard so far, we feel that Big Sean did his best work on “Yes”, which is single number two. So far, it seems this will be the album’s biggest banger. If that’s the case, we should be in for a solid album from Sean Don. The epic and dark instrumental suits his aggressive and “no f***s given” attitude on the track. His flows and deliveries are also engaging as he hits you with his familiar cool, calm, and collected voice. Additionally, he gets a little more animated and zanier to jolt some extra energy into his already thrilling performance. To give fans more to chew over, Sean teamed up with Lyrical Lemonade to deliver some equally gloomy visuals for “Yes”. They accentuate what the song sets out to be and we encourage you to check out the creative production below.
