Cardi B has come to Tyla’s defense as she’s been facing backlash on social media for her appearance at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards, last week. While accepting the award for Best Afrobeats Video, she passed the trophy off to Lil Nas X and joked about struggling to carry it while speaking. Fans on social media have been labeling the move “rude” in response.
“Tyla wishes she never won that f*cking VMA award,” Cardi said while discussing the incident on X (formerly Twitter) Spaces. “If she would’ve known that that f*cking VMA award would’ve brought so much hate, so much criticism. I bet for a fact she’ll be crying tonight. The internet is insufferable. The way that you guys will take a picture, take a moment, and make it something that it’s not, and then just crush somebody.” From there, she described the internet’s reaction as “bullying.”

As caught by VIBE, she added: “You gotta worry about motherf**kin’ doing a speech, looking good while you’re carrying a motherf**king’ 10-pound f**kin’ [award] in your motherf**kin’ hand. So I just don’t think you understand how f**king heavy those f**kin’ awards are. Also, I met Tyla in person. I’m 5’3″, so I’m already short, and she’s shorter than me. No lie, she’s shaped really beautifully, but she’s very very skinny. Skinny like, Mariah-type skinny. She has to weigh like 109 pounds. Foolio Murder Suspect Still At Large Months After Shooting
The Foolio murder case remains a pretty open one, especially since the fifth charged murder suspect in this case, Davion Murphy, is still on the run as of Monday, September 17. Moreover, authorities have yet to provide an update on his whereabouts, what they’re doing to improve their search, or what possibilities for escape exist. The last update that we got in the case were pleas from some of the suspects that police currently has in custody. But until they find this fifth suspect or they get to the bottom of the case elsewhere, then this will continue to be a mystery. However, authorities think that Davion is still in somewhere in Jacksonville
Furthermore, police claim that suspects Davion Murphy and his cousin Rashad enlisted in the Top Killers gang, a Jacksonville organization with a rivalry with the Six Block Gang that police claim Foolio belonged to. Rashad still doesn’t have a plea and awaits arraignment later this month. According to alleged court documents reportedly obtained by XXL, two other suspects in this case (Isaiah Chance and Alicia Andrews) pleaded not guilty on August 23. Per local news organization WTSP, the final suspect (Sean Gathright) also pleaded not guilty, although XXL was not able to confirm this.

Foolio Murder Suspect Rashad Murphy Arrested
Isaiah Chance and Alicia Andrews face four counts of premeditated first-degree murder in the Foolio case, whereas Gathright is up against two counts of premeditated first-degree murder, attempted premeditated first-degree murder, and tampering with physical evidence. According to police, all five suspects traveled from Jacksonville to Tampa to attack the rapper as part of the alleged gang war. He was celebrating his 26th birthday in the city. Police claim that Chance and Andrews tracked his movements and that Gathright and the Murphys carried out the shooting.
Meanwhile, many folks still feel a way about Yungeen Ace, Foolio’s rival that chose to disrespect his death. “I think he kept a poker face on when I asked him how’s he feel about the passing of Foolio,” DJ Akademiks theorized during his latest VladTV appearance. “He’s like ‘Nah, it’s f***ed up.’ But is that really his demeanor? He’s probably elated.”

In doing so, he threatened to have sex with both of their mothers while accusing Harris of lying during her viral debate with former President Donald Trump.
“Taylor Swift…go f*ck urself,” Pump wrote at first, as caught by XXL. “Taylor Swift, you have no clue why ur even voting for Kamala. Maybe cuz ur a billionaire and voting for her has 0 impact on ur life. You said do ur research, clearly you didn’t do ur research. Right after the debate u endorse her lol Right after she lied many many times,” he later added. Pump continued in another post: “Lets just b clear wen I said @taylorswift13 should go fu*k herself i acknowledge maybe @tkelce isn’t doing it and will send her a vibrator of her choice if she gets some sense. Like many other of his hip-hop relationships, Drake shares a pretty rocky history with Jay-Z. They’ve sent supposed subliminals at each other, collaborated, and gone back and forth on this dynamic at least twice now. Moreover, many folks think that Kendrick Lamar performing at the Super Bowl halftime show over Lil Wayne is Hov’s way of slighting Young Money (and by extension, the 6ix God) through his NFL partnership. Some folks think that Jay offered it to Drizzy in the past to no avail. But Dame Dash recently threw another wrench into this history, as he claimed that The Boy reached out to him to respond to Dame’s sale offers for his one-third share of Reasonable Doubt.
“As for battle rap, there’s never been a battle rap where, you know, the record becomes a hit, puts another artist in a very uncomfortable position – pause – and then they get to perform it at the Super Bowl,” Dame Dash said of the Toronto superstar’s Kendrick battle and the Super Bowl debate. “I’m thinking, like, what I would do if I was Drake. I’d be like, ‘Well, a big W would be to come to the Super Bowl with one of these Roc-A-Fella chains.’ Drake hollered at me through a DM and made and offer. I’m not quite sure what happened. 50 Cent trolled Desiigner on Instagram on Monday amid his ongoing feud with the rapper. In doing so, he resurfaced the Brooklyn native’s 2017 freestyle for Funkmaster Flex, for which was virally criticized at the time. “Sometimes you don’t have to say anything at all. [anguished face emoji] ok moving right along!” 50 wrote in the caption.
Fans shared plenty of laughs in the comments section, including Bobby Shmurda, who left behind a pair of emojis. One user wrote: “Why Flex sound like he was bout to cry at his decision of letting him ‘come up here.” Another joked: “Looking at this on mute you would think he gave his best bars!” Desiigner seemingly responded to the situation by posting a song snippet on his Instagram page in which he raps, “Talking 50 Cent, I’m talking 50 mill.”
