Lil Baby’s Las Vegas Arrest: New Details Emerge

Lil Baby’s attorneys, Drew Findling and David Chesnoff, say that the rapper has a valid permit to conceal carry and that they are currently investigating his recent arrest in Las Vegas. Despite having a permit in Georgia, the state of Nevada has its own permit for carrying a concealed firearm. “To be clear, Dominique Jones has a valid Georgia Carrying a Concealed Weapon (CCW) Permit,” his lawyers said in a statement. “On his behalf we are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding his arrest in Las Vegas.”

According to TMZ, Baby was caught on video at the encore in Vegas being passed a gun. On Monday night, police brought him to the Clark County Detention Center, where he was being held on $5,000 bail. He ended up paying that off and has another court appearance scheduled for October 1.

It’s not the first time Baby has found himself behind bars. Back in 2014, police arrested him on charges of possession of marijuana with intent to sell. Speaking with Rolling Stone in 2017, he explained how he made a living dealing to several other artists on the Quality Control roster including Migos, Rich the Kid, and more. “Needed the money, more than anything,” he said at the time. “I knew all the drug dealers around my neighborhood. When I was like 10, 11, I was hanging out with a dude who was like 17. He was getting money to buy a car, having his own little spot. So he was a lot of my motivation, too.” After spending two years behind bars, he switched his focus to his music career.

Travis Scott has successfully brought his fan-favorite mixtape to streaming services in DAYS BEFORE RODEO. This 2014 project holds a special place in the hearts of La Flame’s fans for a lot of reasons. It’s got some of his best-ever songs it, it shows the growth and development of the dark, psychedelic sound that they know him for. Additionally, the tape sees Travis at arguably his hungriest and most untamed state yet. When you combine all of the aspects together, you are getting a nostalgic version of the Houston artist that we probably won’t get ever again, given where he is creatively and in hip-hop overall. While that might be sad for some, it makes songs by Travis Scott like “Drugs You Should Try It” all the more special.

When we said DBR has some of his highest creative genius on it, “Drugs You Should Try It” is one of the tracks. Compared to the rest of nocturnal Southern trap you are getting on this project; this song sticks out in a good way. The guitar is such an iconic part of it, as well as the trippy, rapid-fire hi-hats. Furthermore, Scott is at his most vulnerable as he talks about loving someone, as well as all of their druggy escapades together. Ask most hardcore Scott fans and they will have this song in their top five or top 10 all-time for all these reasons listed. Adding to the cult-like aspect of the record, Travis has decided to release a music video for “DYSTI”. Like the content of the song, the visuals are equally woozy and spacey, including shots of La Flame falling down in slow-mo.

Lil Rod Details His Life In Hiding As He Sues Diddy For Alleged Sexual Assault

Lil Rod says that he fears for his life and is in hiding as he attempts to take legal action against Diddy. He detailed his situation during an interview with Rolling Stone published on Tuesday. In doing so, he explained that even his own mother doesn’t know where he’s staying. “There have been too many people trying to figure out where I’m at,” he said. “I moved locations, moved states. Everything is private. My mom doesn’t even know where I live. It’s been like that pretty much all year.”

“I’ve never had so [many threats] hitting me at once,” Rod continued said. “Diddy has a lot of people on his payroll in a lot of different positions. He’s very connected. It’s made me nervous traveling. Going to hotels, I ask if there’s any way to remove my name. [The last time] I landed in L.A., I knew he had connections there. I got off the plane worried. I masked my face and changed my outfits, trying to disguise myself. For sure I was uncomfortable, paranoid, afraid. But I told myself, you can’t keep living like this. I’ve got three therapists.”

Since filing the lawsuit, Rod’s public appearances have been limited, although he did step out with T-Pain for a performance in Los Angeles in June as well as an appearance at 50 Cent’s Humor & Harmony festival in Shreveport in August. He claims that speaking out against Diddy has led to him being blackballed from the industry. In turn, he’s “broke” with “no source of income.”

The interview with Rolling Stone comes after Diddy and his legal team requested a dismissal of the lawsuit on Monday. His lawyers labeled it a “shameless attempt to create media hype and extract a quick settlement.” Diddy’s vehemently denied all of the accusations since they were originally filed. According to a tweet from a user who goes by SOUND, the comedian and rapper turned podcaster are essentially brand ambassadors for PrizePicks. If you don’t know, it’s a daily fantasy sports app/website that allows people to place prop bets on professional and college athletes from numerous leagues. However, you aren’t competing against other players, just the stats. If you pick the correct over or under for an individual’s numbers, then you win money. In the 30-second commercial, both Budden and Druski are trying to decide who they want to place bets on.

Ultimately, they go on to make the correct picks –with help from Joe– and they celebrate by chest bumping each other at the party later on. It’s both funny and cringe-worthy in the best way possible. Lil Woody seemingly tried to bait Young Thug’s lawyer, Brian Steel, into saying the n-word while testifying during the YSL RICO trial on Tuesday. While Steel was reading a quote to Woody, he asked him for clarification on what he meant by “N.” Steel began to spell the word in an attempt to explain but stopped short of laying the entire spelling.

In response to the clip going viral on social media, fans have been having plenty of laughs. “Steel’s too honorable to even spell it [laughing emojis] hesitated on that second g, didn’t even get to the a,” one user remarked. Others joked they wouldn’t have a problem with Steel if he had fallen for it. “I’m gonna go on a limb and say Thug has given Brian a pass AND he’s invited to all the cook outs til the end of time,” one fan wrote. The viral moment is just one of many Woody has had during his time on the stand. There seems to be a little bit of a divide in the Fugees camp and most of the blame is falling on Lauryn Hill. That’s at least what the iconic rapper and singer feels is the case, according to past quotes from her Instagram. “Some media outlet’s penchant for sensationalism and clickbait headlines have seemingly created a narrative that has affected ticket sales for the North American portion of the tour”. That’s what she feels led to her ultimately having to cancel the reunion tour in the states. Her making last minute changes to performances is nothing new, although past injuries have been a consistent sidelining factor. Still, it’s been a constant theme and fellow band mate Pras has taken notice of it as well.

In fact, he was even dissing Lauryn Hill on an unreleased song not too long ago. However, he claims it had nothing to do with her, the timing of it certainly would suggest otherwise. In a clip of the moment circulating on social media, he appears to be in disbelief before demanding to know where the music is coming from. He eventually requests the song be turned off and reaffirms his allegiance to OVO.

In response to one of Drake’s fan pages posting the clip on X (formerly Twitter), fans had mixed responses. Many praised the Jamaican artist for sticking up for his OVO collaborator while others were more critical. The truck is being showcased at the restaurant on West Northwest Highway, which is co-branded with the Dallas Cowboys, through Thursday.

The concert tickets up for grabs are for the Austin and Houston shows, adding to the excitement for fans in Texas, where Malone is a beloved native.
