Back in 2023, Trippie Redd and his older brother were pulled over for tinted windows when police realized that the artist didn’t have a license. The duo was being followed by security, and the car was reportedly hotboxed, which put the officers on edge. As a result, the officer confronting them didn’t hold back. She made it clear that she was incredibly annoyed by the situation, despite him being famous.

“They just heightened us from two to 10. I don’t give a sh*t if that’s your security guard or not,” she explained. “I don’t care if you’re Drake. They cannot come to a traffic stop… So you have no license and you’re driving, that’s one citation. You’re probably gonna be arrested but that’s my discretion.”

Police Officer Confronts Trippie Redd & His Brother

Fortunately, Trippie ended up with a citation, was not arrested, and kept calm throughout the entire exchange based on the footage. His brother Hunter, on the other hand, was arrested for weed found near the passenger seat and brought to a nearby jail. The footage arrives shortly after footage of Playboi Carti and Ken Carson getting pulled over surfaced online, and footage of DaniLeigh getting arrested for a DUI hit-and-run. Bodycam footage isn’t the only thing that has Trippie Redd making headlines these days, however.

Recently, the performer also got back with his ex, Coi Leray. The two of them split up roughly five years ago, which famously inspired his A Love Letter to You 4 track “Leray.” So far, their rekindled romance appears to be going well, as evidenced by a sweet moment they shared onstage last week. The Game Shuts Down Rumors That He’s Beefing With YG And Mustard

The Game loves him a good beef. Hell, he’ll take a bad beef. He spent a couple weeks trying to bait Rick Ross with a diss track, but both parties eventually admitted there was no smoke to the fire. Compton’s own has had bigger fish to fry, anyway. While the West Coast rallied around Kendrick Lamar during the Drake battle, The Game took a more diplomatic stance. Fans accused him of caping for Drake, and he was nowhere to be found when Lamar, YG and Mustard were dancing around at the Pop Out concert. That said, The Game has cleared the air regarding his relationship with his West Coast brothers.

To be fair to YG and Mustard, The Game inadvertently started the beef rumors. He got on Instagram on August 28 and started making cryptic statements about artists he didn’t like. “Rooting for somebody & finding out they secretly hate u is so crazy,” he wrote on his Stories. “Secret haters are clutch.. yall make ballin in yo face worth it.” In the post before, The Game called out YG and Mustard by their birth names, and claimed to be looking for them. “Aye Keenon & Dijon… Jayceon looking for y’all,” he added. “Ghetto name havin n**gas.” It wasn’t a stretch to assume Game was calling the rapper and producer his “secret haters.”

The Game Ranted About ‘Secret Haters’ On Instagram

It’s hard to imagine The Game misreading the situation, but he did clarify that everything was cool. He sent a follow up message after the comment section started buzzing about beef. He even used official artist names this time. “@yg & @mustard My n**gas 5L,” he wrote. “Go twist a backwood before you twist that #Bompton.” There’s evidence to suggest that everything between The Game and the other artists are cool. The Game did recently participate in YG’s peace walk earlier this month. The two also have tons of songs together, with the most recent being 2022’s “Outside.”

Game’s relationship with Mustard is less defined. They have definitely taken different approaches when it comes to Kendrick Lamar’s battle with Drake. Mustard has cut off all ties with the Toronto superstar. He said he would never work with him again. The Game, meanwhile, went on IG Live and dubbed Drake one of the best to ever pick up a microphone. Game drama shouldn’t be high on the importance list for either YG or Mustard, though. Meek Mill might be gassed up. The rapper was clowned for not having hits during a recent podcast, but the internet came to his defense. They asserted that Meek did, in fact, have hits, and that “Dreams and Nightmares” is a hip-hop classic. The rapper weighed in on the discourse himself, so he obviously saw it. Now, however, he’s wanting to take his biggest hit to the biggest political stage imaginable. Meek wants to perform “Dreams and Nightmares” at the upcoming presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.

To be fair to Meek Mill, there’s some geographical context. The presidential debate, which takes place September 10, will be held at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. Meek is one of the city’s most popular rappers. “Dreams and Nightmares” became the unofficial theme song for the Super Bowl run by Eagles in 2023, so maybe the rapper is hoping he can be a good luck charm once again. “Let me do dreams and nightmares at this debate lol,” Meek wrote on Instagram.

Meek Mill Has Been Critical Of Both Candidates

The question, ultimately, is who Meek Mill would be a good luck charm for. The rapper has expressed admiration and criticism for both presidential candidates. He claimed he wanted to sit down with Harris and question her regarding her incarceration policies. “[I’d] ask her 3 questions about black and brown men going to prison,” the rapper tweeted on August 14. “And try to help her understand from a survival standpoint… she may have never had to encounter.”

Conversely, Meek Mill has expressed confusion over how Donald Trump has managed to get away with all the things he’s done. It’s still unclear if the rapper meant it in a complimentive or accusatory way. “Got hit in the head, didn’t flinch,” he tweeted. “He’s been indicted, and he’s still running for president. Who is this guy, Trump? Lil Baby’s Las Vegas trip did not go smoothly. The rapper was arrested after police suspected he had a concealed weapon on him. He got combative with the police, and asserted that he had a permit to carry before switching up and taunting them to perform a search. The footage of the incident made its way to TMZ. Lil Baby can be heard telling Las Vegas PD to search him well because he has a “gun in his nuts.” Now, his mugshot has been officially released to the public. He definitely looks like he’s been through a long ordeal.

Lil Baby’s eyes are unmistakably bloodshot in the mugshot. The rapper looks both exhausted and angry. Both fair under the circumstances, however. Fans on Instagram flocked to the comment section with the usual mixture of jokes and dismay. One user claimed that the mugshot photographer did Lil Baby dirty with the angle. Another lamented the fact that everybody looks bad in a mugshot, regardless of appearance or wealth. “Ion care how much money you got,” they wrote. “Them mugshot folks gon always make you look homeless..”

Despite his combativeness with the police, Lil Baby’s attorney says that he was actually within his legal rights. David Chesnoff issued a statement to the Los Angeles Times stating that Lil Baby does, indeed, have a permit to carry a firearm. “[He has] a valid Georgia Carrying a Concealed Weapon (CCW) Permit,” the attorney wrote. “On his behalf we are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding his arrest in Las Vegas.”

This is not Baby’s first rodeo. He was arrested for reckless driving back in 2019. Two years later, he was detained in France on suspicion of “transporting drugs.” CBS states that Baby was not officially arrested or charged during his detainment. He subsequently paid a fine. The rapper celebrated his freedom on Instagram the next day. “Thank You To Everyone Who (Checked) On Me!! I’m Good,” he wrote. “I’m (On The Way) To The States To Rock My Show At The Pavilion At Pan Am In Indianapolis!!”

In them, the fan tells SZA that they’re failing their geometry class, and asks for her help.

“Lmaooo ma’am I’m a math dummy,” she replied. “I’m not sure what u expected.” While the songstress didn’t appear confident in her ability to provide the fan with any assistance, she proceeded to ask them to be more specific. “Tell me bout the shapes chile,” she wrote, “How can I help.”

SZA Tells Fan They’re “Cooked”

Camron Recalls Bailing Out His Friends For A Staggering Load Of Cash

Cam’ron is a vivid and gifted storyteller, whether it’s in his music or when talking about what part of the United States produces the best lyricists. However, he can also look back at old tales and rejuvenate him with his revealing commentary, as he recently did for his Instagram followers on Wednesday (August 28). Moreover, the Dipset member explained what happened at a traffic stop in New England on a cold night in 2003 while the group toured their debut album, Diplomatic Immunity. Authorities arrested Orlando Young and Piri Pantoja for possessing a firearm without a license and three counts of assault with intent to murder.

“One night, we was just driving down I-91, I believe,” Cam’ron began his story. “The cops pulled the tour bus over like [it was] the end of Set It Off when Cleo was about to run through the barricade with all the cops. They had like 92 cop cars out there! They pull us off the tour bus talking about, ‘Yo, somebody’s car windows got shot out.’ [I said,] ‘I don’t know how that happened, officer’ […] Now, it’s three degrees outside. I’m freezing. I’m looking at n***as like, ‘Y’all know what’s going on? ‘Cause I don’t.’” He said that Juelz Santana probably hid under the bus’ muffler (“That boy know how to hide“) and that the cops told him, Jim Jones, and J.R. Writer to “get their face[s] out their shirts” in spite of the freezing weather.

Cam’ron Tells His 2003 Bailout Story

“Now the car pulls up that got the windows shot out, talking about, ‘Yeah, it was one of them,’” Cam’ron went on. “We like, ‘Nobody got time for this nonsense.’ I’m standing there like it was not one of us. Bus driver looking like, ‘I’ll tell on any of y’all.’ Look at him. ‘I don’t know nobody.’” When cops found weapons in the vehicle, they denied that they were theirs. “Now they lock two of my n***as up, I start talking s**t. ‘I don’t care what the bail is, I’m bailing n***as out.’ The bail was $4.8 million. Oh my God, I was sick. But I bailed n***as out, though, and everybody was good. Peace.”

Furthermore, police claimed that the suspects shot from Cam’ron and Dipset’s tour bus at a car with three females in it. They also hit Monique E. Garnett, the driver, with unlawful firearm and drug possession, plus passenger Keith Blacknell with similar charges. While the Diplomats members did not receive any charges, they reportedly witnessed the gunfire. It’s the kind of thing that probably caused 50 Cent to regret his beef with Cam and others.
