Chlöe Returns With Energetic R&B Banger “Body Do”

Chlöe is an artist who has been expanding into various different avenues. While sister Halle is currently playing Ariel in The Little Mermaid, Chlöe has a role of her own in Swarm. Although there has been a bit of controversy surrounding this new job, there is no doubt she is rolling with the punches. Additionally, Chlöe is dropping a new album called In Pieces on March 31st. This means fans will be getting a brand-new album next week.

Overall, this is a very exciting time for Chlöe. This will be her first solo project; something she has been preparing fans for since 2021. It is an extremely exciting endeavor, and to help drum up excitement for the project, she has come through with a new single. The track below is called “Body Do” and it will be the third song on the album. As you will hear, it is an upbeat R&B banger in which Chlöe demonstrates her growth as an artist.

Chlöe Continues To Expand Her Sound

As for the new album, there will be features from Chris Brown, Missy Elliott, and Future. Moreover, Chlöe recently explained the inspiration behind the new body of work. “But now after healing, doing self-work and shedding this skin of false perfection, I find the beauty in pain,” she revealed. “IN PIECES  is for the ones like me who wear their outer shell so well that you’d have no idea what they’re going through. I hope this project brings healing to those who listen, as it’s been completely therapeutic for me…”

Needless to say, this new album is going to be a very interesting listen. If “Body Do” is any indication of what we can expect, this is going to be a great project. 03 Greedo Celebrates His Freedom With “Bacc Like I Never Left”

03 Greedo, whose real name is Jason Jamal Jackson, came back strong with his song “Bacc Like I Never Left.”  The rapper, who is known for his willingness to experiment with different styles and his introspective lyrics, was sentenced to 20 years in prison on drug and possession charges in 2018. The rapper didn’t let that affect his career and still released music while incarcerated. He was able to cement his position on the hip-hop scene despite being in jail.

His 2019 album “Still Summer in the Projects” was met with widespread critical acclaim. 03 Greedo was released on January 12, 2023, and “Bacc Like I Never Left.” is a celebration of this. The rapper raps about his triumphant return over a spirited beat produced by “Gucci Gang” producer Bighead. He also raps about women, money, and jewelry on the track.

03 Greedo Is Back

Greedo opens the song by saying that he’s back like he never left, a clear reference to the fact that he’s now out of jail. ”Now I’m back like I never left. [?] I step /I got stripes like a f***ing ref, my hood I’ma rep./ Throwing racks, running up a check, still ain’t had no sex” boasts the rapper. The rapper’s boasts don’t end there. In the song’s first verse, he says, “Hopping out the Aston, highest fashion, diamonds flashing. / I’ma need a model who bе posting all my captions.”

He also makes it a point to brag about his gangster exploits in the song’s second verse. “Now I’m back, pulled up with the MAC. / Drummers get you clapped. /In the back of a fucking Lac and this bitch all black. / Don’t get smacked, we don’t get attacked, we ain’t getting jacked.” The first person to report on Greedo’s release was Jeff Weiss on January 8. He tweeted, “Out of respect for Greedo’s right to break the news however he wants to break it, I can’t officially confirm anything. But this Texas parole info is accurate. 03 should be coming home at some point this week. A 5-year nightmare finally coming to an end.” What are your thoughts on 03 Greedo’s new track? Tell us in the comments below.

Quotable Lyrics:

Now I’m back like I never left, pussies in I step
I got stripes like a fucking ref, my hood I’ma rep
Throwing racks, running up a check, still ain’t had no sex
‘Fore I even got released I put some water on my neck

Pi’erre Bourne Shares Highly-Anticipated “Honeyberry 2”

Pi’erre Bourne recently dropped his much-anticipated song, “Honeyberry 2.” The rapper previously produced work for top artists like Playboi Carti, 21 Savage, and Lil Yachty, so it’s no surprise that “Honeyberry 2” has a hard-hitting beat that makes the song instantly memorable. The song is a sequel to the iconic 2017 song, “Honeyberry,” on which the rapper raps about chasing money instead of love.

Both the sequel and the original song explore similar topics. In the new song, the “Drunk And Nasty” rapper details a tumultuous relationship with a woman. With lyrics like “I’m on stage (Stage), she’s outside (Side) /Come backstage (Stage), spend some time (Time)/ If I come back, I’ma hit your line (Line) / Duo Love, hit that b***h two times (Times)/Show me love, sendin’ hearts all the time/Say she in love, but I know she lyin’ (She).” The song also has lyrics that detail being unable to trust the woman in question, with other lyrics that say she may be cheating while she searches for signs of his infidelity. The song acts as both a solid stand-alone as well as a sequel.

The Long Awaited Sequel Is Here

Fans have been waiting for “Honeyberry 2” since the 2019 album, The Life of Pi’erre 4. There was a lot of hype around the original “Honeyberry,” so it’s unsurprising that the sequel was received well. The song was expected to be an addition to Bourne’s latest album, The Life of Pi’erre 5, but wasn’t to the disappointment of some fans.

The song fits the general theme of the album well while still showcasing Pi’erre’s versatility. The song’s outro speaks about the woman’s love being ancient, which adds an additional layer to the song. Other recent songs from Pi’erre, such as “IG,” touch on the topic of unfaithful women, but it’s a testament to his artistry that all of the songs are distinct.

What are your thoughts on this song? And will you be listening to the rest of his album? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below. Do you want to keep up with the hip-hop world? If you do, then you should check out HNHH’s latest releases.

Lil Mosey Celebrates His Freedom With New Single, “Flu Game”

After being acquitted of his recent rape chargesLil Mosey is gracing the scene with more music. With his newfound freedom, the Washington-born entertainer is gearing himself back up for a major return by dropping his newest single, “Flu Game.” Not only is Mosey dodging a prison sentence, but he now gets a chance to redeem his honor in the public eye. The clearing of all charges on March 2nd allowed him to feel confident in dropping his latest track on March 17th.

The highly anticipated song was paired with the release of a music video. In it, Lil Mosey dons a stylish outfit akin to the one Micheal Jordan in his famous 1997 final’s game. The young artist draws lyrical parallels between his struggles with proving his innocence and Jordan’s poor health at the time. Through his heartfelt lyrics, Mosey sings, “Tryna ball like Michael Jordan (Jordan)/ Look at my left wrist, it’s gorgeous (Gorgeous)/ Livin’ the life that I wanted (Wanted)/ .”

Lil Mosey Draws Parallels Between His & Michael Jordan’s Struggles

Throughout his verses, Lil Mosey reflects on the feeling of being trapped in his situation. “They love watchin’ you fall/ And they gon’ try to knock you,” he laments. “When you’re back against the wall (Against the wall).” The verse perfectly encapsulates the feeling of not being able to win. But the track also reflects his feelings of rising above the darkness. He makes a not-so-subtle hint in his last verse, “Winnin’ any case a good feeling.” New listeners might overlook the lyric at first. However, fans of Mosey are definitely going to spot the reference right away.

Lil Mosey teams up with producers SephGotTheWaves, Geo Vocals, and ISM to ensure the song’s excellence. As he spent the last couple of years struggling through a storm, he wanted the best team possible. In his latest Instagram post, he captions a snippet of the video with, “This for my fans, this for the culture!” While he was facing prosecution, Mosey’s biggest fans consistently voiced their support. The artist returns the favor in the best way he can, by continuing to put out great music. Stay tuned to learn more about his upcoming music.

Statik Selektah Drops “Unpredictable” New Song Featuring Method Man, Raekwon, And Ghostface Killah

Statik Selektah is back on the scene this weekend, and he brought Ghostface Killah and Raekwon with him. Titled “Unpredictable,” his new song reunites the Wu-Tang Clan as they channel old-school vibes that have everyone buzzing. Born Patrick Baril, the producer has been active in the music industry since the early 2000s. Even in 2023, he certainly shows no signs of slowing down. Statik has worked with some of the biggest names in the hip-hop world and is known for his traditionalist approach to hip-hop production. This style incorporates classic sounds and samples and can be clearly heard in “Unpredictable.”

As they came up in Staten Island in the 1990s, Wu-Tang Clan asserted themselves as an obvious influence on the music industry. Because of Selektah’s music style, fans are finding the collaboration to be an old-school dream come true. The opening lyrics set the tone for the next three minutes, “Cashmere pea coat/Fella caught a fortune off a c note/Wiggin’ out I’m giving out free smoke/Hater love to doubt Ace.”

Statik Selektah Brings the Wu- Tang Clan Back into the Spotlight

Each member of the Clan gets their own verse, as they delve into explaining what makes each of them so “Unpredictable.” The legendary creatives prove that their quick wit and mic skills are still ahead of the game. Their throwback style matches that of their initial albums from the ’90s, surely bringing back a sense of nostalgia to long-time fans. However, there is still definitely a modern approach to the track that will draw in new listeners.

“Unpredictable” is only a precursor for Statik Selektah’s upcoming project, Round Trip. If the rest of the album is as good as the latest single, then fans can expect an amazing drop. Unfortunately, no official release date has been set yet. Make sure to check back later for any updates on the producer’s forthcoming work.

Quotable Lyrics:

In spite of all my gold they tried to shut down
I’m still worth millies on the bustdown
So savage, total my average that’s GOAT status

Danny Brown & JPEGMAFIA Debut “Lean Beef Patty” From Joint Project

Danny Brown and JPEGMAFIA have had fans excited for new music over the past few years. While JPEGMAFIA dropped off LP! In 2021, it’s been nearly four years since Danny Brown’s last studio album, Uknowhatimsayin? Since then, he’s hinted at a new project, though there hasn’t been much of an update surrounding Quaranta since late December 2022. Still, he hasn’t confirmed a release date just yet but that doesn’t mean we’ll be going empty-handed this year

The XXX rapper and Veteran artist began teasing a joint project as early as last year. However, Danny Brown and JPEGMAFIA finally confirmed a title for their upcoming project: Scaring The Hoes Vol. 1. At this point, there’s a rumored release date slated for next week but neither Danny nor JPEGMAFIA has confirmed it. However, the two slid through this morning with their first offering from the project, “Lean Beef Patties.”

Danny Brown & JPEGMAFIA – Lean Beef Patty

Danny Brown and JPEGMAFIA dropped off the first single from their joint project this morning, “Lean Beef Patties.” The glitchy, electronic-style production undoubtedly leans closer to JPEG’s style but it’s also a sonic territory that Danny isn’t unfamiliar with. The record boasts a sped-up sample of Ginuwine and Mario Winans hook on Diddy’s “I Need A Girl Pt. 2” that they transform into a lo-fi, dance-adjacent banger.

“Lean Beef Patties” is by no means their first collaboration together. JPEGMAFIA played a role on Danny Brown’s last studio album. He produced the Run The Jewels-assisted “3 Tearz” and also contributed a verse on “Negro Spiritual.” Around the time, Danny said JPEGMAFIA was one artist who came after him that he said inspired him. “For a long time, it felt like I was sitting in a class by myself. Then Peggy came along and I felt like we were fighting the same battle when it comes to this hip-hop shit. It’s good to have someone on the front line with you,” he told HNHH. Check out their new collab above.

JELEEL! Gets Braggadocious With Armani White On New Single “GNARLY!”

If you know anything about JELEEL!, you understand that he is easily one of the most energetic new artists in the game. Although you probably know him from his immense TikTok presence, there is no doubt that he is expanding beyond virality. Whenever he gets invited to a massive festival like Rolling Loud, he turns the event into a Project X-style party. Overall, it is impossible not to start a moshpit at a JELEEL! show. His backflips steal the show, and his ability to get the crowd going will leave you mesmerized.

As for his music, the artist is someone who can deliver various different vibes. From emo rock bangers to more melodic hyper-pop aesthetics, JELEEL! is someone who can truly do it all. His fans are always begging for some new music, and more often than not, he delivers. This time around, the Rhode Island native decided to come through with a track dubbed “GNARLY!” which features the likes of Armani White.

JELEEL! & Armani White Deliver “GNARLY!”

Overall, this is a song that taps into JELEEL!’s energetic side. When you listen to this track, you can tell that he was trying to go for something incredibly braggadocios. This ultimately works out well as the song is fun and catchy. Additionally, the production has this skeletal quality to it as we get some hard 808s and haunting winds in the background. It also sounds like a triangle is being played, which adds to the stripped-back feel. Moreover, Armani White adds some great flair to the track, and his chemistry with JELEEL! is palpable.

Once again, JELEEL! has delivered a fantastic offering for his fans. He is always evolving as an artist, and you can’t help but be excited about what else he has in store. Be sure to let us know what you think of this brand-new song, in the comments section down below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from around the music world.

6Lack Teases Forthcoming Album With “Talk Back”

Although 6Lack has mostly kept to himself over the last five years, the 30-year-old artist is preparing to step back into the spotlight. His forthcoming effort, S.I.H.A.L., will release later this month on March 24th, marking his first studio album since his 2018 East Atlanta Love Letter. Just last week, 6Lack dropped a teaser single for the album titled “Since I Have A Lover,” which has also been confirmed as the acronym for the full project. Now, the Altanta-native is back with another taste of what’s to come with his latest track, “Talk Back.”

The Friday (March 10) release of “Talk Back,” proves to be hard-hitting and edgy, as opposed to the soft romantic essence exuded in his last single. Throughout the track, 6Lack alludes to focusing on what matters rather than getting distracted. He notes hate comments, singing “heard ’em talkin’ down that shit just roll off,” and continues to showcase his on-brand unbothered persona while adding a simple, “I do not care.”

6Lack’s Back, “S.I.H.A.L.” To Drop This Month

6Lack also posted another audio on his streaming profiles last week, although not accompanied by any music. Instead, he took a raw approach to address his lack of musical commitment, in what he called “A Letter To My Fans.” In his recognizably soothing voice, the “Prblms” singer says blatantly that “this took longer than I promised, but some promises are meant to be broken.” He clarifies by adding, “when it comes to time and growth, there’s no skipping any part of the process so you just end up repeating lessons that you should have definitely learned from by now.”

While acknowledging the significant time that has rolled by since his second studio album, 6Lack also discloses how he’s been preparing S.I.H.A.L. for the past five years. Just from the two tracks released in anticipation of the project, it’s easy to assume that March 24th will deliver some heat. For more news on hip-hop and pop culture, be sure to check out HNHH.

Quotable Lyrics:

I stopped makin’ excuses and speakin’ on things I don’t know
You should do the same, that should be your one goal

But I’ma use them hundos to buy my block, I’ll see you at the top

Rae Sremmurd Drops “Tanisha (Pump That)” In Anticipation Of Fourth Studio Album

Nearly five years ago, Rae Sremmurd dropped their last studio album, SR3MM. Since then, fans of the duo have sat in heavy anticipation for their next project, with only scattered singles and features to keep them on their feet. But as a new album is rumored to be underway, brothers Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi have joined forces once again to bump up excitement toward their highly-awaited studio effort, SREMM4LIFE.

On Friday, Rae Sremmurd released “Tanisha (Pump That),” produced by Pharrell Williams and Mike Will Made It. The vibey track follows “Sucka Or Sum,” which dropped back in January. “Tanisha (Pump That)” is a danceable number that shows a new side of the brothers. In all, this track is equally laid-back as it is catchy. The effect creates an effortlessly cool number that will likely put Rae Sremmurd on the charts once again.

Rae Sremmurd Have More On The Way

With SR3MM ranking thrice for the 50 Best Albums of 2018 recorded by Billboard, Rolling Stone, and Complex, SREMM4LIFE will hopefully level up the game even further for Rae Sremmurd. The album has been teased with several other releases in 2022, including “Denial,” “Community D**k” featuring Flo Milli, and “Torpedo.” Each single that has been dropped so far showcases a variation in the brother’s undeniably unique style. Simultaneously, the classic Rae Sremmurd flow that fans have fallen in love with remains present.

In addition to dropping their first album in almost five years, Rae Sremmurd has hit the road again to join Post Malone during the Europe leg of his Tweleve Carat Tour. Having not toured since the SremmLive II Tour of 2016-2017, it’s possible that the duo is practicing for a potential SREMM4LIFE tour. While the official release date for SREMM4LIFE has yet to be confirmed, rumors suggest April 7th. We’ll keep you in the loop with Rae Sremmurd updates, and check out HNHH for more hip-hop news.

T.I. shared a preview of his upcoming single, “Active” featuring Kevin Gates on his Instagram account. The song accompanied a video highlighting moments from the Legendz of the Streetz Tour. Beginning back in February, the tour included a handful of other hip-hop heavyweights like Jeezy, 2-Chainz, and Jadakiss. Its last stop will be at the Barclays on April 23rd. T.I., who’s been the topic of various controversies in recent months, says that his “King Of The South” moniker has put a target on his back. He revealed to TMZ that fellow Atlanta rapper Big Boi warned him about labeling himself The King. He cautioned, “Life is a game of chess, and the name of the game is called Kill The King. That’s what you are setting yourself up for.” Thus the ATL actor’s final album.

T.I. told The Breakfast Club that he’s ready to “get the hell outta here”.
