However, fans have remained hopeful that he will eventually be released. Moreover, fans got a gift this past Friday as Young Thug came through with a new album called Business Is Business. This new project features the likes of Travis Scott, Yak Gotti, Drake, 21 Savage, and even Future. Fans were stoked to get this project, and now, they’ve gotten even more.

Last night, Metro Boomin got to release his own version of Business Is Business. This version came with a brand-new tracklist as well as some extra songs. Of course, the song everyone is gravitating toward right now is “Money.” Overall, this is due to the fact that the song comes with features from the likes of Juice WRLD and even Nicki Minaj. Needless to say, this is a song that packs a strong punch when it comes to star power.

Upon listening to the track, you will immediately get hit with an old-timey sample that sticks around the whole track. Some people are going to love this and others are going to hate it very quickly. However, there is no doubt that the song is getting a reaction. As for the verses, Nicki Minaj and Thugger certainly did their thing. Moreover, Juice WRLD sounds great on the song, and this is one of his better posthumous efforts.

Last night, Lil Uzi Vert was at the BET Awards. Overall, it was a huge awards show as some of the biggest stars in all of hip-hop showed up to the stage. Moreover, it was a special time as it was a celebration of the 50th anniversary of hip-hop. It was a fun night, and Uzi was a huge part of it. Lil Uzi Vert Previews Track From “The Pink Tape” At Summer Smash, Stage Dives

Yesterday, Lil Uzi Vert took the stage at Bridgeview, IL’s Summer Smash music festival. The artist previewed a track from their highly-anticipated upcoming album, The Pink Tape. Fans went wild for Uzi’s performance, which also featured them diving into the excited crowd.

Lil Uzi Vert has continued to tease The Pink Tape. Although they’ve not confirmed an official release date, Uzi previously claimed it’d be dropping this month. They said they’d go to great lengths to ensure the album comes out in time, claiming, “Even if I have to drop it myself, it’s coming out at the end of the month.” Some fans were speculating that the artist would release the album on June 23, which is National Pink Day in the U.S. Unfortunately, fans were disappointed when the holiday came and went, with no new Uzi album in sight.

Earlier this month, Uzi shared what was believed to be the cover art for The Pink Tape. They shared the trippy artwork in an Instagram Story, going on to tease some potential collabs. They posted photos of both Playboi Carti and Ken Carson, leading fans to believe they may appear on the new LP. Uzi later claimed that after dropping the official artwork, they plan on destroying their phone. “I think after I drop the cover I’m gonna break my phone and I’m not gonna need a phone anymore. I’m just gonna let it work, I don’t want a phone anymore,” they said. “I’m done with having a phone. I don’t really need a phone. Saweetie Teases New Song With London On Da Track Production In Chicago

It’s been several years of EPs, singles, and other notable moments, yet there’s still no debut album from Saweetie. Of course, she’s spent plenty of time giving updates and timelines on when the album is coming, and why it’s taken so long to release. However, it seems like all of that might change this year after performances and new music teases, plus a couple of notable collaborations and last year’s EP, THE SINGLE LIFE. Recently, at Chicago’s Pride In The Park Festival, the Cali native teased a new track with production from acclaimer beatmaker London On Da Track. Moreover, it’s reportedly titled “Shot O’Clock” and hopefully drops very soon.

In terms of the beat, it’s a classic bounce for Saweetie, harkening to West Coast rhythms and chorus structures. There’s even a Spanish countdown that compliments the beat and melody quite well, on top of sampling Suzanne Vega and DNA’s “Tom’s Diner.” Lyrically, it’s just as boastful, confident, and club-ready as you expect a track from the 29-year-old to be. Her performance on it is sharp, focused, and filled with laidback energy.

However, a bigger story involving her recently actually involved another rapper allegedly throwing a diss her way. Moreover, the “ICY GIRL” seemed to catch a stray from Young Thug on the track “Want Me Dead” off his new album BUSINESS IS BUSINESS– or at least that’s what fans thought. “My n***a ain’t even tryna hit sweetie,” Thugger raps. He took to Twitter to clarify that he said “sweetie” and not “Saweetie.” Regardless, it still caused quite the stir online given the hype around the release and the apparent name-drop. Ultimately, Thug is such an expressive rapper that confusion around his bars is to be expected at this point.

The Weeknd confirmed the title of his collaboration with Lil Baby earlier today on Twitter. The track is set to be part of the soundtrack for The Weeknd’s series alongside Lily-Rose Depp, The Idol. The controversial show has continued to shock viewers with each episode. It’s gotten a good deal of backlash for it’s frequent nudity, depictions of self-harm, and more. Jim Jones Responds To Pusha T Diss On New Song “Summer Collection”

The beef between Pusha T and Jim Jones just kicked into full gear with its first official diss track. Sure, there was Push’s original shots, but those were more like obvious subliminals given the context than anything else. Now, the Dipset member released “Summer Collection” in response for a “From The Block Performance.” In it, he uses the exact same beat that the Virginia native used in his teased disses towards the New York MC on an unreleased Clipse collab with No Malice. Not only that, but he responds to a few of the points that Pusha made on those bars, and comes through with some more aggressive material.

For example, there’s him urging Pusha T to not doubt his VVS diamonds, and him not caring about any of the former G.O.O.D. Music president’s luxury purchases or flamboyant style. Also, he trashed his artistry is catalog, referencing his album My Name Is My Name but saying “we ain’t screaming that.” Another example of that was Jim Jones stating that Push is only a “gorilla” because of all the “apes” that he features on his albums. He didn’t really clarify whether he depends on his features or picks small names, but either way works, right?

However, perhaps the nail in the coffin out of all of his bars were instead directed at his brother No Malice. Furthermore, Jones said that he’s not looking too good right now, and that he shouldn’t bother with a Clipse reunion. Considering how deep Pusha T went at Drake after the latter mentioned the former’s fiancée, this can’t spell out good news for the 46-year-old.
