Doja Cat Drops New “Cash Cow” Photo Dump On Instagram

Between releasing her new music, planning a tour and album drop later this year, and interacting with fans excessively on social media, Doja Cat has been busy. Throughout all of it she’s been regularly posting to social media and she just dropped some new pics to her Instagram. The 7 new pics aren’t necessarily the most elaborate. They see Doja sporting a tiny skirt and a crop top that reads “Cash Cow” alongside a trio of close-up pictures on her face.

As is often the case with Doja Cat, people in the comments are divided. Many have often suggested that Doja gets more love when she wears a wig and more hate when her hair is short. That certainly seems to be the case in this comment section where she’s sporting the short cut. “All the men upset she’s not wearing a wig is crazy to me lol,” one of the top comments observes. Others in the comment section aren’t taking things as seriously. “me thinking of a mean comment I can say so doja will pin me and give me ATTENTION,” the most liked comment on the post reads.

Doja Cat’s Latest Instagram Post

Information about Doja Cat’s upcoming new album has been trickling out in the past few weeks. She’s released two new singles in 2023 which are expected to be on the album. “Attention” dropped back in June and spent its first few weeks on the Hot 100 before slipping off the chart. She followed it up just last week with a new song called “Paint The Town Red.” The accompanying music video faced allegations from many of being a satanic ritual and has amassed over 6.5 million views in less than a week. Meanwhile, the song itself has already racked up over 13 million streams on Spotify.

Later this year Doja is taking off on tour. She’s bringing Ice Spice and Doechii along with her. The tour begins in October and hits 24 stops along the way into December. What do you think of Doja Cat’s newest Instagram photo dump? Let us know in the comment section below?

C Dot Castro And Logic Trade Bars On “Masked Up”

C Dot Castro and Logic have some new heat on the street that many fans will eat up. These two have worked together extensively lately, and “Masked Up” is just another banger to add to their collection. For those who do not know, C Dot Castro has been in the underground scene for quite some time. He has put out a good amount of work since the mid-2010’s and he is looking to break free from that.

Additionally, he joined Logic’s own record label, Bobby Boy Records. Other artists on the label include Travis Stacey, JRB, Big Lenbo, Doctor Destruction, John Lindahl, and Kajo. It began in 2019, originally under Elysium, but that has obviously changed. Logic also partnered with Def Jam Records and Universal Music Group to make this happen. C Dot Castro brings a lot of energy to the track, providing the chorus and a full-fleshed out verse.

Are C Dot Castro And Logic A Dynamic Duo?

It makes you wonder if C Dot and Logic should come together for a collab album because their chemistry is so effortless on “Masked Up.” It was difficult to decide who has the better verse because both bring speedy flows and great rhymes. C Dot raps, “Spin it back like a ereh-ereh mix, mm Got that dope when you itch for the quick fix My whole life I’ve been running with misfits My whole life I’ve been up in the trenches.” The “ereh-ereh” bar is fun when you listen to it because C Dot is mimicking what a record sounds like when you push it back and forth.

What are your thoughts on this new track from Logic and C Dot Castro? Who has the best verse on the song? With all of their collaborations out should they drop a collab album? Give us your thoughts on all of the above, below in the comments section. Additionally, be sure to stay locked in with HNHH for all the latest new music and all of the hottest song releases.

Trippie Redd Teases New Single Despite Multiple Album Delays

Despite Trippie Redd’s fifth installment of his ‘Love Letter’ mixtape series being pushed back again, the rapper has chosen to satisfy their fans’ desire for new music with a fresh track. On Monday (August 7), the Ohio native took to Instagram to share a snippet of what he’s been working on. This track draws inspiration from a variety of classic hits like R&B and Funk Band Switch’s “I Call Your Name” and Rich Boy’s 2007 smash single “Throw Some D’s.” In the video, Trippie Redd can be seen vibing out to the unreleased track as the comment section fills with requests to release the song.

Prior to this, Trippie Redd released another track on Friday (August 4), titled “Left 4 Dead.” As usual, his emotional vulnerability seeps through the song. “When sh*t hit the fan, you left me for dead / I miss the tricks she used to do in my bed / You switched so quick I couldn’t even comprehend / You showed me why I can’t be f*ckin’ ’round with love,” Trippie Redd raps on the track. He also released another song with Skye Morales back in June, “Took My Breath Away.”

Initially expected to drop on July 28, Trippie Redd’s A Love Letter To You 5 mixtape has seen a series of delays. The release date was later pushed back to Friday, August 4, though the project has yet to be released. As of today, Apple Music has listed the updated release date as Friday, August 11. As anticipation continues to build among fans, Trippie Redd has not given a direct answer for the delays.

It appears that there may be a glimmer of hope in the near future. Trippie Redd recently announced that he’s going on the road for his Take Me Away tour. It kicks off in Miami later this month. Trippie Redd’s “Love Letter” mixtape follows the release of his fifth studio album, Mansion Musik. That was released this past January. The album features guest appearances from Chief Keef, Future, Lil Baby, the late Juice Wrld, and more.

YK Osiris Says He’s Tired Of “Trash” Rappers, Demands Respect

Controversy has followed YK Osiris for much of 2023 so far. The biggest spark came when he made inappropriate advances on Sukihana while the pair were commentating a basketball game. The resulting clip went viral and caused many to speak out against Osiris’ behavior. Ultimately he had to issue an apology for his actions but it was rejected by many, including Sukihana’s mother, for being inauthentic. It was only after releasing a second apology that the situation began to die down for Osiris.

Since then, it’s been even more strange stories for YK Osiris. He first posted a strange video to his Instagram where he sits against a wall frustratingly stomping his feet. That turned out to be the first piece of promo for his new single “Dear Fans.” The track sees the rapper addressing his die hard fans directly and it was also his first official release as an independent artist. The somber demeanor of the song and YK’s strained vocal performance make his intention clear. Now, the rapper has a message for those who still won’t give him his flowers.

YK Osiris Speaks To “Trash” Rappers

In the video, YK Osiris calls out rappers who he considers trash. He repeatedly demands that they will put some respect on his name. He also uses the video as an opportunity to announce that he has new music coming soon. Fans in the comment section weren’t taking him as seriously as he wanted. “He funny as hell even when he’s not even trying to be 💀” reads the top comment on the post.

Plenty more comments underneath the post express similar sentiments. “His facial expression be giving a 8 yo talking to his big brothers 😭😭😭,” one commenter clowns him for. “He shouldn’t be talking. His career been flopped. And his music been trash,” says another commentor more harshly. It requires scrolling pretty far through the comment section to find any fans expressing support for Osiris and his message. What do you think of YK Osiris’ new message demanding respect from “trash” rappers? Let us know in the comment section below.

Asher Roth Drops New Single “Dimma (Last Chance U)”

Asher Roth has returned with a new single. The Pennsylvania-born rapper reflects on getting older in “Dimma (Last Chance U),” enlisting the help of Swedish producer Guala. The track is grounded by a fuzzy, laid-back beat and guided by introspective bars. A flowery piano accompaniment provides it with a dreamy, nostalgic edge. The 37-year-old spits about writing new music, smacking “a**,” and how life just gets harder when you grow up.

Roth is most well-know for his 2009 Asleep in the Bread Aisle track, “I Love College.” Last month, the rapper dropped “En Gratis,” which also features production from Guala. This latest track also follows his 2022 collaborative EP with Salt Lake City producer Heather Grey, Why’s It So Grey Out?

“Dimma (Last Chance U)”

In July, Asher Roth sat down with Luke Bailey of the Fly Fidelity podcast, sharing some new details of his upcoming EP. Roth revealed that he’d be teaming up with Logic, who will reportedly be producing a lot of it. “He’s just got ridiculous beats, so there may actually be a world where he and I collaborate when he gets off the road and do a little joint,” Roth explained. “I don’t know how much rapping he’ll do, but it’ll be a lot of beats produced by him.

He went on to discuss some of the work he’s dropping ahead of the Logic-produced EP. “Samples are tricky,” he described, “but we will release a handful of more Soundcloud, nostalgic ‘Blog Era’ type joints to grease the wheel. And then, from there, I will release the follow-up to Why’s It So Grey Out? I am very happy with how it’s [turning] out… it’s honest.” Asher Roth is also scheduled to make his way around the U.S. later this month, with stops in Montana, Utah, California, and a slew of dates in Texas.
