Given the artists who are on this song, you can expect that there is a lot of energy in this song. Price is someone known for his laidback yet hungry flows that are paired with some heavy production. On “Million Cash,” that is exactly what we get. However, this time, he has something to prove. Westside Gunn, Conway The Machine, and the Alchemist came through with a project a few years ago called Hall & Nash 2. However, this project never actually made its way to streaming services. Instead, a few songs here and there ended up being released online. Overall, fans were hoping that we would see the day in which the project would get an official release. Well, today was that day as Hall & Nash 2: The Original Version hit streaming services. This has led to a revisit of the project’s nine tracks.

One track that we are taking a look at is none other than “Fork In The Pot.” This is a song that features none other than ScHoolboy Q. Although Q is in a bit of a different lane, he certainly fits in with the artists on display here. Below, you can find the audio and music video to the song, which was released over five years ago. For some, revisiting this track is going to bring about some nostalgia. It also helps that the instrumental here has an 80s twinge to it that brings it to another level.

Earlier today, we mentioned how quite a fair amount of rappers were putting their unique spin on Christmas music. This is not a new trend amongst the hip-hop community, as countless artists have done something to celebrate the most joyous holiday of the year. For 2023 though, there have been some questionable attempts. One of those was RXKNephew’s “HAPPY HOLIDAYS.” That was a spin on Mariah Carey’s classic jam which is beloved and hated by many. Coincidentally, O.T. Genasis must have seen him do this.

The Georgia rapper and the New York native must be competing for who can make a worse rendition of the pop star’s magnum opus. RXKN’s was more cold-blooded and serious. It was hard to tell whether or not he was taking it seriously. O.T. Genasis’s efforts are clear as he hilariously sings along with the same melody.

According to HipHopDX, this is a parody, which makes O.T.’s version more acceptable. It is called “All I Wear For Cripmas,” as the song represents his commitment to the blue apparel-wearing gang. RXKNephew Drops A Head-Scratching “Christmas” Song “HAPPY HOLIDAYS”

The holiday season is still in peak form even after Christmas has come and gone once again. 2024 is just five days away and people are getting ready to start fresh. But before that happens, some artists are wanting to release some more Christmas cheer to keep the vibes up. We have seen quite a few artists take their respective stabs at creating some version of holiday-centric music. Some landed better than others. Unfortunately, RXKNephew is going to receive a lump of coal from HNHH.

He has just come through with “HAPPY HOLIDAYS,” a YouTube exclusive release. RXKNephew hails from Rochester, New York, and we have not covered much of any of his material. He did land on Valee and Harry Fraud’s collaborative tape Virtuoso earlier this year. In addition, Nephew has dropped several projects and singles under his name. We have yet to check all of that out.

But, hearing this as his first song on the site is not a great start. Nephew does his best to rap on top of Mariah Carey’s classic, “All I Want for Christmas Is You.” However, he is so off beat and it just sounds awkward. Pair that with the ultra-aggressive lyrics and you have a recipe for disaster. We do not know if he was trying to make some sort of parody, or if he was trying. Because of that, we are left in disbelief after hearing this.

Flo Milli Taps Bryson Tiller For New Version Of Her Hit Song “Never Lose Me”

Back at the very start of December, Alabama rapper and singer Flo Milli dropped one of her singles that might land on her upcoming album next year. “Never Lose Me” has been becoming a hit amongst her fans and the general public. The reason is because of how catchy and whispy Flo’s melodies are on it. Because of all of the hype surrounding it, she decided to add some new versions.

On Christmas Eve, Milli released an EP with all five renditions. It includes the original, a Lil Yachty feature, sped and slowed down, and a Bryson Tiller appearance. We say that because the album is not on any conventional stream platform. Instead, it lands on M.I.A.’s website, ohmni.com. According to HYPEBEAST, there are rumors that she decided to go this route for the possibility of censorship due to some of the tracks titles and their political messaging. That would include a song like “FREE PALI” for example. One we want to focus on is “AMEN.”

Lil Uzi Vert Drops “Red Moon” Single & Music Video As A Special Christmas Gift

Merry Christmas to all if you celebrate, and even if you don’t, you have plenty of reasons to be happy if you’re a Lil Uzi Vert fan. Moreover, they just released a new single (not on streaming yet) and music video, “Red Moon,” which takes a pretty distinct direction compared to their other work. In fact, this is the track that the Philly superstar previewed just a couple of weeks ago, which samples Drake’s “7969 Santa” featuring Teezo Touchdown and Snoop Dogg off of For All The Dogs. In addition, they had mentioned that they finished filming the music video, and it seems like they couldn’t help but give fans this special present today.

Furthermore, given the “LIR3” text that appears towards the video’s end, it’s fair to assume that this is what truly kicks off the rollout for LUV Is Rage 3. Maybe it’ll be a while before the project drops, but Lil Uzi Vert used “Red Moon” to hint at their artistic direction and mental state. It’s a heart-ached relationship cut that sees them in their feelings, backed by a creative fusion of the aforementioned sample plus alternating trap and drum-and-bass percussion. As for the music video, the 28-year-old sits alone in their hotel room, travels the city around them, and runs on the beach toward the titular red moon.

From a visual standpoint, it’s a pretty simple but nonetheless engaging and creative presentation. After all, sometimes less is more, and seeing this more casual or pedestrian side to an artist is always an interesting perspective for us as fans to contrast with their usual flexing or grandeur. What’s more is that, now that Lil Uzi Vert seemingly doubled down on a soon-to-come retirement, these new songs will probably sting a little bit harsher. We hate to see them go, but we also know that this is by no means the end of their career, success, and fulfillment.

Meanwhile, Travis Scott recently brought the “Sanguine Paradise” hitmaker out for his Philly concert.
