Denzel Curry Continues Hot Streak Of Bangers With “WOO” Featuring PlayThatBoiZay And Chief Pound

Carol City, Florida rapper and writer Denzel Curry is back with another hard-hitting single. This head-bashing and trunk-knocking track features two other Florida natives. PlayThatBoiZay and Chief Pound bring uncontrollable energy to create “WOO.” This is the fourth offering for Denzel’s upcoming album. However, we have no information on the release date or name of the project yet.

Genius does have a possible title for it, 13LOOD 1N + 13LOOD OUT RELOADED, but it does not seem to be confirmed yet. What has been interesting about these releases from Denzel is that they have been turned into two-packs. The first solo single we heard from this year was “BLOOD ON MY NIKEZ” with Juicy J. That became combined with another track “ICE COLD ZEL FREESTYLE,” featuring ICECOLDBISHOP.

The same thing happens with “WOO.” Before this came out, we heard Curry team up with Kenny Mason on “SKED.” Now, this is a two-pack with these two tracks put together. With all of these recent releases, it seems Zel is turning back to the more aggressive and trap-like sounds we came accustomed to older listens. Imperial, ZUU, and 32 Zel are some examples of this. Hopefully, we get to hear that type of album again soon, because “WOO” is another fun track.

What are your initial thoughts on Denzel Curry’s brand new song with PlayThatBoiZay and Cheif Pound, “WOO?” Is this the best track out of the three singles that have come out? When do you think Denzel’s album will be coming out? We want to hear what you have to say about all of this. With that in mind, be sure to leave all of your thoughts and opinions in the comments section below. Kanye West Fans Thinks He Could Drop An Album Tonight To Compete With Drake

One of the most anticipated albums of the year is right around the corner and fans think Kanye West could try and compete. After an entire summer of teasing, Drake’s For All The Dogs is almost here. Earlier this year he released the song “Search & Rescue” which debuted at number 2 on the Hot 100. He did even better with his next single “Slime You Out.” For the track, he recruited SZA for their first-ever collaboration. Fans rewarded them by sending the song straight to the top of the charts. With its debut at number one, SZA became the first artist of 2023 to reach the top spot on the Hot 100 with two different songs.

Overnight Drake dropped yet another tease towards the album with “8AM In Charlotte.” It featured an elaborate music video and introduction by his son Adonis whose drawing will serve as the album’s artwork. Despite a lack of any real evidence, Kanye West fans think that he might be cooking something. Many people think that certain lyrics in “8AM In Charlotte” were intended as a Kanye diss, which would reignite years-old beef between the pair. Some online believe that the best way West could hit back would be by surprise releasing a new album on the same day as Drake’s. Check out some fan theories below.

Miguel Announces First New Album In Six Years, Shares New Video

R&B fans rejoice, Miguel’s highly anticipated 5th album is on the way. After a prolific streak in the 2010’s dropping 4 albums from 2010 to 2017 the California-based singer has been quiet for a while. Now the critically acclaimed hook artist and collaborator is returning with a new album later this year. While it doesn’t have an official release date yet, it just got a lead single and an accompanying music video.

The track is called “Give It To Me” and the fittingly moody music video has already racked up more than 11k views in less than a day. The track has a sensual energy to it with the lyrics “‘Cause I like what you got Would you give it to me I like what you got I like Imagining everything it could be,” coming on the hook. He also confirmed that the new album would officially be called Viscera. That came after he first announced that new music was on the way back in August with a gnarly stunt. He suspended his body in midair with numerous hooks fed through his back for a listening party that generated plenty of attention. Check out the new song and accompanying video below.

Miguel Teases “Viscera” With New Single

Despite having not released an album in 6 years, Miguel hasn’t been quiet musically. He appeared as a feature on a pair of songs back in August with some high profile artists. The first came alongside Lil Yachty when the duo linked up for the song “Number 9.” Just a week later he collaborated with Jessie Reyez for another sensual anthem called “JEANS.”

Miguel has released two EPs since his last album as well. First came Te Lo Dije in 2019 which was his first Spanish language project. He followed that up with Art Dealer Chic 4 in 2021. He also found himself with a surprise hit when his song “Sure Thing” became a surprise TikTok hit last year. What do you think of Miguel’s new song and video? Drake May Have Dissed Kanye West On “8AM In Charlotte”

Drake surprised all of his fans this morning when he took to Instagram with a new song. “8AM In Charlotte” will be featured on For All The Dogs. Overall, it is a track that fans are going to adore. From the chopped vocal samples to the incredible piano passage, this is a track that was tailor-made for the megastar. For now, the song is an Instagram exclusive and can be found on his page, right now. It is a song that many are praising, and there is no doubt that anticipation is mounting for tomorrow’s huge release.

Of course, many are now looking to dissect some of the bars in this song. According to HipHopDX, there is one passage in the track that seems like a diss toward Kanye West. “You n****s obsessed with me and it’s not on no hetero vibe,” Drake raps. “Handle beef so quiet you think that I’m letting it slide/ Next thing you know we tip-toeing past enemy lines/ Diss me so long ago we making your memories fly/ Conspiracy theories start floating around like the Kennedy guy/ I’ll probably hold a grudge against you guys ’til I’m 75.”

Drake Vs Kanye West Rekindled?

He continues to talk his sh*t with some more bars that could be interpreted as a dig at Ye. “Aye, n****s lying for a living, I couldn’t relate,” he spits “We all gotta lay in the bed we make, but that couldn’t be Drake/ You forced a lot of fake love when real ones stood in your face/ That’s why you got deserted by your n-ggas like pudding and cake/ I got you on camera bowing down but the footage is safe/ Thank God, another USB to put in the safe.”

Pusha T ultimately left GOOD Music and denounced Ye, so that “deserted” bar certainly could be taken as a diss. Moreover, on the song “Circo Loco,” Drake made it seem like his Kanye reconciliation was more of a favor than anything else. It serves as an interesting theory, and only time will tell how Ye feels about all of it. Let us know your thoughts on “8AM In Charlotte,” in the comments section below.

Kevin Abstract Makes His Solo Return With His Latest Track “Blanket”

Kevin Abstract and BROCKHAMPTON called it quits nearly a year ago with their album, The Family. It was an unfortunate and sad end to the group’s tenure together. One of the most entertaining collections of talent in the hip-hop community and BROCKHAMPTON will always be in our hearts. Their legacy is truly special Abstract has not been active since 2022 either. Actually, the last release under his stage name was in 2021.

It was a single with Ryan Beatty titled “SIERRA NIGHTS.” After that, was a single in 2022 called “DEAR MISS HOLLOWAY” with easy life. The track is called “Blanket” and it is just under two minutes. It really is not much of a song, though. The lyrics we have shared below and parts of the chorus, which then go into an incredibly short “verse.” Blanket is also accompanied by an interesting video of Kevin and some imaginary-like creatures as a meteor is approaching Earth. An album is on the way as well, but no word of the name or release date just yet.

SoFaygo And Lil Tecca Are In Sync With “SHOTTA FREESTYLE”

SoFaygo is one of the newest voices adopting elements of artists like Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, Don Toliver, and Travis Scott. He burst onto the rap scene in 2019 with a few singles and an eventual project to follow with WAR. After that, things started to pick up for the then-18-year-old rapper out of Grand Rapids, Michigan. His song “Knock Knock,” began to turn a lot of heads. It is currently his most popular song, with over 240 million streams on Spotify.

Now, he is a signee to Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack record label and is gaining more momentum as a student of his. He just dropped a new single to Soundcloud the other day called “Everytime.” Unfortunately, it has not hit regular DSPs yet, and so has this latest cut. Which is a shame because this one features some great production from Lil Tecca.
