In late February, Kodak Black and now ex-girlfriend Maranda Johnson welcomed child number four into the world. “2/27 a prince was born”, she wrote on X (formerly Twitter). What was extra special about this birth was that the Florida rapper was able to get permission from the midwife to help deliver the baby on his own. They are currently up to two children together, with two-year-old daughter, Queen Yuri, being their other bundle of joy. However, it seems that the hitmaker is not done extending his legacy. According to HipHopDX, Kodak Black announced that he is expecting baby number five and did so in explosive fashion, literally. Tons of fireworks were shot off in someone’s backyard with big lit up letters spelling out Baby Kapri.

If you’re wondering why Kapri, it ties into Kodak’s surname. The veteran artist does have multiple baby mamas, so you know there’s bound to be at least a little drama involved. However, we would argue that there was quite a bit of it this time around. Jammiah “Maya” Broomfield, one of Black’s multiple co-parents, was the one that revealed that this fifth newborn was coming. However, she was not willing to spill the beans on who the mother was.

This information trickled down to Maranda and she was not happy about the news. In fact, she vandalized some of Kodak’s luxury cars in anger and went sent her over the edge was him being seen with “Maya” in public. Because of this, Maranda then directed her rage toward “Maya”. “You doing all that groupie shit and still don’t got s***. Everything he buy King you sell it to buy drugs. You deadbeat-a** b****. You so proud to get f***ed and sent home. How you a side b**** to yo own bd??”. So, it seems that it isn’t totally confirmed who the baby mama is, but based on Maranda’s actions, there’s a good chance it’s “Maya”. Regardless, congratulations to Kodak!

Wiz Khalifa and Aimee Aguilar are parents! The couple welcomed their first child together, a daughter, on July 17. Khalifa and Aguilar kept the specific details surrounding the birth under wraps, but they’ve since confirmed that their daughter’s name is Kaydence. The happy couple also detailed their experiences on social media. Wiz Khalifa posted a video on Instagram with the caption: “POV thinking about all the outfits I’m about to pick out for my daughter.” Aguilar, meanwhile, divulged some of the complications that arose during the birth on TikTok.

“I gave birth exactly a week ago today, so I am a week postpartum,” Aguilar told followers on July 24. She posed for the camera, but revealed that she’s been unable to exercise sine giving birth to Kaydence. “I ended up tearing,” she explained. “So, during the labor and I pushed her out, I tore. I have stitches down there, so I think I’m going to wait another week or two before I start doing anything strenuous on my body.” Kaydence is Aimee Aguilar’s first child, and Wiz Khalifa’s second. The rapper also has a son named Sebastian with ex-wife Amber Rose.

Wiz Khalifa has been forthcoming about fatherhood, and how it’s changed him as a person. He detailed his co-parenting situation with Rose during a January appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast. “It’s good. It’s fun,” he explained. “Well not fun, but like, I think I’m in a good situation with her as a co-parent. Especially through time. Things have just eased up and become a lot more enjoyable and just regular of a process.” Wiz Khalifa also noted that becoming a parent was difficult early on in his career. He learned how to adjust, and become a better father, as he matured.

“All the irregular sh*t has been worked out,” the rapper explained. “And we’re past everything that I think would cause people to be dysfunctional. So at this point, it’s way easier to just run things smoothly than it is for it not to be smooth.” Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose recently got together to celebrate their son’s 11th birthday. The celebrities threw a massive party with a basketball court and a mural of rappers, and posted photos from the event afterwards. “That’s what I Call a function,” the rapper wrote on his IG.

The reason we say that is because Cash Cobain produced this cut. If you are not familiar with his style, it is very woozy, low-key, and hazy. He also likes to rely more heavily on bass and less drums. That is the case with “Sh**t Up Your Block.”

In the endearing video, the son smiled and cooed at his mother, while she asked “You trying to get Mommy’s phone?” While many loved the child’s reveal and showed love, the couple haven’t shared his name yet.

Later in the clip, their son yawned as he looked out of a car window, and it marks Rihanna’s first TikTok post. She captioned it with “Hacked,” so maybe the little guy is smarter than his age lets on.

Regardless, unnamed sources already gave media outlets some info on the couple’s new baby, even right when he was born. Moreover, People reported that the couple stayed in their Los Angeles home when Rihanna birthed her son.

“Rihanna is doing well. They are very excited to be parents. Rihanna is already a wonderful mom,” a source said upon the baby’s birth.

“Everything Rihanna does, she does it her own way on her own timetable, and having a baby is no different,” another source expressed when they announced the baby was coming. Also, the source said they were incredibly happy from the jump. “They’re just like any other pair of parents-to-be. Yes, they happen to be famous, but they’re just the cutest, giddiest young couple that’s expecting kids.”
