Money Man Quickly Follows Up “Red Eye” With New Project “Catch Me If You Can”

New York-bred and Georgia-raised rapper, Money Man, is one of the hardest-working artists in the game. Some people might frown upon musicians who put out too much material. However, there is a crowd that will always be in demand for a continuous output of music. Money Man has the latter of those fans and that is why he is already back with another full-length project.

His last effort was put out on March 17 and that was titled, Red Eye. It was a 15-song, 34-minute-long offering with three features. Babyface Ray, Peezy, and Juney Knotzz were placed on the sparing list of guests. However, this is nothing new for Money Man. For the most part, the melodic trap rapper likes to allow his voice and presence to shine on his albums. That is the case here with his second LP of the year.

Catch Me If You Can only sees BC Marse land on this tracklist. Interestingly, there were no lead singles to this release either. We got some other singles before this, however. “Fear No Man,” and “Gangsta Lean,” look to be tracks appearing on a different release. 2Rare Finally Releases His First Album With “Truth Or Rare”

The wildly entertaining and up-and-coming rapper, 2Rare has just put out his debut album. The Philly native has not been in the game for that long, as he began his career right around 2020. His dreams and aspirations to make it to the NFL changed once he moved across the country to Los Angeles, things changed for him. He began to pursue music and dancing and since then, 2Rare has taken off from that point on. He is already getting massive co-signs from other artists too.

In an interview with XXL, he mentioned some wise advice from longtime Chicago rapper Lil Durk. 2Rare told XXL, “Lil Durk always reminds me, ‘Bro, you got the world, you got the youth, you got the kids, you got the influence.’ So, no matter what you do that’s different from everybody else, keep doing it.” The youngster is also on the 2023 XXL Freshman list.

Durk is featured on the project with him being placed on “Q-Pid.” 2Rare released a ton of lead singles for his debut. “Rare Steppa,” “Rare’s Room,” “Toxic Ish,” “One of One,” “Don’t Run,” and “Rare Story Pt. 2,” all make it on the final product. Unfortunately, it does drop the hype of the listen because half of the album was already out. However, it is the first project of many for the young artist. Doja Cat Is All In For Her Man On “Can’t Wait” From “Scarlet”

Los Angeles rapper and singer Doja Cat’s highly-awaited project, Scarlet, is finally here. There has been so much talk around the album, as people have either been bashing her new direction, or excited for what is to come. Over the coming weeks listeners will assuredely have differing opinions on the LP. But, some are already divided with some saying it a solid listen, while others are calling it “trash” or bad. However, if you have been keeping tabs on Doja’s latest statements about her fans, there is a good chance she will not be phased by the negativity.

She took a pretty big risk on Scarlet with including no features and making a more rap-focused tape. Most people come to her music for the widespread appeal with catchy choruses and beats. While there are some tracks that fit that mold like “Paint The Town Red,” most of the material here boasts more attention on the lyrics. One of the highlights that possesses this trait is “Can’t Wait.”

Flo Milli Refuses To Feel Insecure About Her Skin Tone

Flo Milli has had a pretty prolific 2023. She’s released a number of singles under her own name and appeared on even more as a feature. She recently joined Rolling Stone for a new interview where she discussed the new music she’s released recently, what she has coming next on her new album, and a number of other topics.

One of those topics was the attempts that those online make to prey on her insecurities. She identified colorism as one of the main critiques she faces online, but it doesn’t phase her. “They want me to be insecure about my skin tone, which is never going to happen,” she said. “I want people to understand everybody does not hate themselves. I think I’m a bad b*tch, and there’s nothing you could say that’s going to make me think otherwise. So please stop.” She also clarified that she’s over being compared to other artists. “I was also telling them to stop using my name to degrade other people. September has been full of big news for Flo Milli. After announcing her new album last month, she also announced a tour in support of it a few weeks ago. Milli and Maiya The Don are taking off on a 16-date North American tour starting in October. Tickets for the entire tour are on sale now.

Diddy Plans On Dropping A New Rap Album Next

Last week, Diddy dropped his highly anticipated and feature-packed new project The Love Album: Off The Grid. The album is absolutely stacked with guests including Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, 21 Savage, Summer Walker, Jazmine Sullivan, John Legend, and MANY more. Songs like “Another One Of Me” and “Moments” are already racking up millions of streams proving the legendary rap executive still has pull. Despite declaring that an R&B resurgence was underway following the release of his new album, Diddy intends to shift back to hip hop next.

The news broke via his son King Combs who TMZ caught up with recently. When they asked him about what his dad is working on now, he let some details fly. “I’ma be on the next one,” Combs began. “We doing the Hip Hop album coming soon.” While the interaction is pretty light on details, just the fact that plans for an album are in place should serve as good news for Diddy fans. Diddy’s Next Album Will Be Rap-Focused

Clearly, the music industry still has a lot of admiration for Diddy. Last week, he turned up for a performance at the MTV Video Music Awards but he wasn’t there just to sing. He also received a Global Icon Award from the show. He’s the third artist to receive the award following Foo Fighters taking home the first one in 2021 and Red Hot Chili Peppers following them up in 2022.

Diddy is also undergoing the process of signing publishing rights back to many of his Bad Boy artists. Quavo Promises New Music For The Holidays

Quavo is an artist who has been through a lot over the past calendar year. Back in 2022, his best friend and blood relative Takeoff was killed in a senseless shooting. Overall, it was an event that took a lot of people by surprise. Even now, Takeoff’s passing doesn’t even feel real. It feels like a bad dream that no one has woken up from. However, his friends and family have done an amazing job honoring him over the last year. They understand how important that is, and they have not taken the responsibility lightly.

Recently, Quavo came through with a new album called Rocket Power. Overall, it was a great album that delivered a delicate balance of tracks. On one hand, you had those emotional tributes to Takeoff, while on the other, you had solid bangers that stood on their own. It was a project that resonated with fans and as it turns out, there is more new music on the way. Taking to Twitter, the artist revealed that he has some tracks in the vault that he wants to bring out for the Holidays.

Quavo Stays Working

“Holiday season coming it’s tuff for me but still gonna feed y’all… mixtape vault music sooon then we go back to the moon wit the Rocket,” Quavo wrote. “Jus putting ya down! Ain gon say nomo twin. We gone!” This is a solid promise from the artist, and we’re sure fans are very excited to see exactly what he brings to the table. The note about a mixtape vault is certainly very exciting. Perhaps we will be hearing more posthumous verses from Takeoff, who was on Rocket Power a couple of times.

Moreover, he delivered a dope Spider-Man soundtrack in 2023 that surprised a lot of fans. Now, he is focused on delivering yet another classic for his supporters.

If you have been paying attention, you would know that Metro’s next album will be a collaborative effort with Future. Metro Pluto has been teased extensively at this point, and fans just want it already. However, great art isn’t created in a day. Instead, it has to be nurtured in order to be successful. Metro and Future understand this, and consequently, they have been hard at work to get this project out.

Well, on Friday, Tecca brought out that project, which only contains a total of two features. These are from the previously mentioned Kodak Black, as well as Ken Carson on “Fell In Love.”

Lil Tecca Drops An Array Of Bangers

Throughout this tracklist, you are going to provided with an array of melodic bangers from the “Ransom” rapper. A lot of these beats come from rising superstar producer BNYX, which will definitely get fans excited. The performances are solid throughout, and if you are someone who has always liked Tecca, then this album will be for you. Doja Cat Returns With Four Studio Album, “Scarlet”

Doja Cat has become one of the biggest artists in the world over the last few years. She has done this thanks to a mix of rap and pop. However, in recent months, Doja has been trying to renounce her old pop hits. With her new project Scarlet, she has been promising something completely new and fresh. Something that would reinvigorate her fans and would also have her seen as more of an MC than a singer.

Prior to dropping the album, the artist have us four singles, including “Paint The Town Red,” “Attention,” “Demons,” and “Balut.” On many of these tracks, Doja was rapping while also gliding over production that one would assume is out of her comfort zone. Once the tracklist was revealed, it became clear that she had a statement to make thanks to a 17-song tracklist that did not contain a single feature. On Friday, the album arrived, and it is filled with unique soundscapes.

Doja Cat Is Back

This is an album that is a mix of hardened rap tracks and some sweet r&b/soul songs. “Can’t Wait” and “Often” are two songs that feel like they could be a The Internet album. However, when you listen to songs like “Wet Vagina,” and “Agora Hills,” you are met with bangers that will melt your face off. It’s a great mix and we’re sure Doja’s fans are going to appreciate the artistic growth here.

Killer Mike Reveals How He Got Young Nudy On The Deluxe Version Of “MICHAEL”

Just last week, Atlanta’s very own, Killer Mike put out a deluxe version of his first album in over 10 years. MICHAEL originally came out on June 16, 2023, and it did not let down many people. There are stellar cuts all over this record. Some of them include, “SCIENTISTS & ENGINEERS,” which was the second lead single to the LP. The song features the likes of André 3000, Future, and Eryn Allen Kane.

Tracks like this one have a very uplifting and gospel inspired theme to it. According to Genius, Mike sat down with Zane Lowe, to discuss the inspiration behind it. The annotation says, “Killer Mike called the album both his “come home moment musically,” due to it being influenced by gospel, soul, funk and hip hop, and his “submission to God, like, ‘Okay, you got me.’” It goes on, “He also characterized it as his way of honoring “the civil rights movement, the abolitionist movement, which gave us some of the most beautiful music ever.”

Killer Mike Details How He Got Young Nudy On MICHAEL (Deluxe)

While that is a deep and profound explanation of the record, Mike also sat down for another interview to discuss some of the deluxe. Fader found some footage from Rough Trade N.Y.C. and how he was able to track down Young Nudy for, “ACT UP.” It was a funny and wholesome story as he got a hold of his mom, whom he also went to school with. Mike hilariously retells the story, “So I’m chasing Nudy. Nudy’s a street kid, right? He ain’t got time to sit still for no 40-something-year-old rapper to be calling him, talking about, ‘Will you feature on something that’s gonna be on my deluxe?’” He then calls Nudy’s mom and she said, “‘Yeah, you’re gonna do that and you’re not even gonna charge him.’” Mike was grateful for her and he even said he would repay the favor with a nice purse.
