Elcamino Makes A Quick Comeback With “They Spit On Jesus”

Buffalo, New York is a city that has plenty to offer in terms of lyrical talents. One of those is Elcamino. He has not been around as long as Benny The Butcher or Westside Gunn, but he has made a name for himself. It all started for him back in 2018 with the release of his self-titled project. It is the current streaming trend in hip-hop to drop constant songs and projects. For some it is annoying, but at least Elcamino has the standout production and bars to back it up.

Earl Sweatshirt & The Alchemist Share Full Version Of “Voir Dire” To Streaming

Earlier this year, rapper Earl Sweatshirt and producer The Alchemist teamed up for an entire new project called VOIR DIRE. It wasn’t the first time they had ever collaborated, in fact, Earl made an appearance on Alc’s Flying High EP earlier this year. Though the project was short, fans were pretty excited for it as both names are pretty beloved in the underground rap scene. Unfortunately, not many people heard the album when it first dropped.

The reason VOIR DIRE went under the radar is because it was originally dropped exclusively on NFT-based music streaming platform Gala. This was met with backlash from fans who didn’t want to make an account on a crypto music website just to hear the album. Thankfully, the pair eventually came through for their fans promising not just that the album would come to streaming, but that it would have new tracks when it did. Those new songs round the album out to 11 tracks and just under half an hour with two features from Vince Staples and another from MIKE. Check out the entire album tracklist below.

Earl Sweatshirt & The Alchemist’s Album Hits Streaming

Starting tonight, Earl and The Alchemist are going on tour in support of the album. They’re playing a series of 11 shows this month stopping all across the country alongside MIKE and Black Noi$e.

Earl Sweatshirt has been playing shows on his own all year. During one now notorious August show he teased fans in attendance with a Frank Ocean appearance, which obviously didn’t end up happening. Some fans online thought the tease was funny while others interpreted it as just cruel and tried to call Earl out. What do you think of the new full version of VOIR DIRE on streaming? Let us know in the comment section below.

Lil Wayne’s “Tha Fix Before Tha VI” First Week Sales Revealed

Last week, Lil Wayne dropped off his new album, Tha Fix Before Tha VI. The project includes features from Fousheé, Euro, and Jon Batiste. The 10-track effort was intended as something to hold fans over ahead of the eagerly-anticipated release of Tha Carter VI.

Tha Fix Before Tha VI is also his first solo project since his 2020 mixtape, No Ceilings. Fans were looking forward to hearing the project, which features his September release, “Kat Food.” Now, the album’s first week sales number are in. It’s been revealed that Tha Fix Before Tha VI sold 19K album-equivalent units.

Lil Wayne’s Tha Fix Before Tha VI Sells 19K First Week

The number has come as somewhat of a shock to some fans, who would have expected the icon to sell far more. With that being said, plenty of others note that he didn’t do much in terms of promotion for the project. Instead, many think he’s been focusing his attention on hype surrounding Tha Carter VI. Despite countless fans coming to Wayne’s defense, the project has managed to spark some concern surrounding what’s to come on the next installment of Tha Carter series.

One person who seems to be into the Louisiana-born performer’s new releases is Eminem. The hitmaker took to social media to compliment a few of Lil Wayne’s lyrics from his verse on YG and Tyga’s track “Brand New” from Hit Me When U Leave The Klub: The Playlist. “‘Got a bunch of zeros like a bag of new funyuns!!’ F*CK why didn’t I think of that????” Eminem Tweeted last week. As expected, this prompted countless responses from fans, dropping their own favorite Lil Wayne lyrics in his replies. What do you think Lil Wayne’s new album? Are you surprised by its first week sales? Share your thoughts in the comments section down below, and keep an eye on HNHH for more updates on Lil Wayne.
