Jay Worthy, Kamaiyah, and Harry Fraud are back once again, but this time it is for something bigger. That something is the collaborative album that sees all three of them combine their talents effortlessly. The tape, THE AM3RICAN DREAM, features nine tracks, including production all from Harry Fraud. All three headlining artists are not alone on this journey, though.

There is plenty of extra star power throughout the tracklist. You will see appearances from Guapdad 4000, Buddy, Max B, Ty Dolla $ign, DRAM, and more. Most of the beats here are very boom-bap-heavy and are buttery smooth. It contrasts well with Worthy and Kamaiyah’s sometimes grimy lyrics. Before this project’s release, we only had one single in promotion for it.

That is the first cut on the record, “9AM.” Worthy and Kamaiyah are really good on this one in particular. Jay’s chorus is really catchy and easy to rap along to. TOBi Comes Back After Three Years With New Album “PANIC”

Nigerian-born and Canada-raised, TOBi, is back with a brand new tape for his listeners. They have been clamoring for it and for good reason. It has been three years since the last full-length release from him. That last album was ELEMENTS Vol.1 and before that was his debut in 2019 with STILL. TOBi specializes in the hip-hop, rap, R&B, and soul genres. He does it all with a silky smooth voice on the mic. The anticipation for this latest tape, PANIC, began all the way back in September of last year.

The lead single was actually a song for the Netflix film, Do Revenge. It starred Maya Hawke and Camila Mendes and the movie and track came out on the same day. Following that, we would get seven more singles, so eight in total. Unfortunately, while the songs are well produced and performed with lots of charisma, the hype slowly trailed with nearly the entire album being put out little by little.

It is still a solid effort from TOBi, but there are only four new songs. Those are “Get Yours,” “Time Out,” “Protect You,” and “How Much Longer?” Fans should still enjoy this project given how diverse the sounds are and the messages in the songs. Pewee Longway Returns With New Album “Who Am I?”

One of the OGs of trap rap is Pewee Longway. Growing up in Atlanta, Georgia he familiarized himself with all of the legends of his time and now he continues to carry the subgenre forward. Of course, he has learned so much from his mentor Gucci Mane, who is undoubtedly one of those founding fathers. Pewee famously signed with Guwop’s 1017 label right before he went to prison.

He released many mixtapes and other projects throughout that time. While he is not making a lot of noise in the headlines as of late, that does not mean people are not eager to hear more music. It has been a year since the release of his last album, Live a Lil. On top of that, Peewee’s first solo single did not come until late August.

City Girls Announce New Album And Share A Teaser Trailer

After teasing that they had a project on the way earlier this week, City Girls officially confirmed that their project is on the way. They last released a new album in 2020 with City On Lock but fans won’t have to wait long now to hear another project. The album is called RAW which they helpfully explained stands for “Real A*s Wh*res.” In the video they host a mock press conference answering questions before the media can even ask them.

“Let this serve as a public service announcement. City Girls’ new album RAW out EVERYWHERE 10/20 BITCHES! Pre-Save // Pre-Add Now at link in bio,” the caption of the post reads. Unsurprisingly, the comments are absolutely packed with fans expressing how excited they are. “OMGSHHHHH YAS GURLS PERIODTTTTTTT,” and “IM A MF CITY GIRL” are two of the early top comments on the post. After confirming earlier in the week that the new album was coming this month, it now has an official release date. RAW is scheduled to drop next week on October 20. City Girls Share Details On Their New Album

While they didn’t share an official tracklist for the new project, fans are expecting to see some of their singles from earlier this year. During a performance just earlier this week the group played their newest single “Face Down.” Many are taking that as a strong hint that the song will appear on RAW.

That song followed the release of three other singles earlier this year. The first from the duo was a track called “Act Bad” which also featured Diddy and Fabolous. They followed that up with two more songs released just a day apart called “Pinata” and “I Need A Thug.” None of the tracks have been officially confirmed for the album yet. Abstract New York rapper MIKE is easily having one of the best years out of anyone right now. While some of our readers might not know who he is, MIKE has been dominant in the underground scene. He has landed on numerous projects of similar artists in his lane. One of which was the highly-anticipated release of Earl Sweatshirt and The Alchemist’s collaborative effort, VOIR DIRE.

However, his greatest moment, at least right now from critics and HNHH alike is his recent effort with The Alchemist. Cali and NY came together for an Album of the Year contender with Faith Is A Rock. It came out just a couple of weeks ago and he and his rapping partner, Wiki, were the perfect complements to the sonic backdrops. Last week, Drake dropped off his eagerly-anticipated new album, For All The Dogs. Though it’s been subject to mixed reviews, the LP was expected to be a major commercial success. It includes various high-profile features from an array of artists, like J. Cole, Yeat, Sexyy Red, SZA, and more.

As expected, there’s been a ton of buzz surrounding the project for months now. Fans couldn’t wait to see what kind of beef would be laid out amid the release, and how it would compare to the hitmaker’s other albums. It was projected to sell 400-450k album-equivalent units in its first week. Now, the first week sales are in, and they’re right on par with what was projected.

Drake’s For All The Dogs Sells 411K First Week

Drake’s For All The Dogs sold 411K album-equivalent units in its first week, marking his biggest debut since 2021’s Certified Lover Boy. The album also had one of the biggest opening days for a hip hop release this year on Spotify, garnering around 108.7 million streams. It passed Lil Uzi Vert’s Pink Tape, Lil Durk’s Almost Healed, and more. Travis Scott continues to hold the No. 1 spot with Utopia, which got 128.5 million streams its opening day. For All The Dogs also had the seventh largest opening day in all of Spotify history. Drake passed up major releases like Kanye West’s DONDA, Kendrick Lamar’s Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers, and more.

The release also put Drake over the edge with a Spotify record, as he hit 80 million monthly listeners earlier this week. He’s now the third most listened to artist on the platform, only behind Taylor Swift and The Weeknd. Despite the project’s commercial success, some critics have made their disappointment for the album known. Joe Budden shared his thoughts on his podcast, claiming that the Canadian performer needs to aim for a more mature sound. Consequence Explains How He Secured A YNW Melly Feature

YNW Melly has had quite a bit to worry about that doesn’t have anything to do with music. He’s been in police custody since 2019 and is currently awaiting his second trial for a double murder that took place in 2018. Clearly, he had quite a bit in the vault at the time of his arrest because three albums of material have been released. The most recent Just A Matter Of Slime dropped in 2021 and many fans assumed it exhausted the final things he recorded prior to his legal troubles.

As it turns out he has at least one more featured verse to be released. Consequence recently stopped by XXL to share some details on his upcoming new album. While playing some songs from the project he revealed that YNW Melly appeared on a track from the project called “Overdose.” He explained that he was in Florida for a recording session that included Timbaland, Chief Keef, and others. One of the others was a younger rapper who offended him by asking who he was. “I go in the other room, I start f**king with ‘Overdose’ and Melly had just come back… He literally was just like, ‘Yo, I got you OG yeah,’ wrote the s**t.” Check out the full article below.

YNW Melly’s second trial for double murder was due to start earlier this month, but was delayed. He’s facing a second trial because the first ended in a mistrial after the jury couldn’t come to a conclusive verdict.
