It is the classic question of, “Can you separate the music from the person?” However, there is one thing that is hard to dispute. Breezy has one of the best careers in the R&B genre of all time. The Virginia native has just added to his legacy and discography with his 11th studio album, 11:11. This project had a pretty clever and on-the-nose rollout. Originally, Brown was going to drop the project on Saturday, November 11. It is quite rare for big-name artists to do such a thing, which is why it was no surprise he switched it to today.

Yeat Shares Teaser Trailer For His New Album

Yeat has had a busy few years. In 2022 he dropped his critically acclaimed album Lyfe. Earlier this year he followed it up with a deluxe edition of the album called Afterlyfe. Though he’s dropped a couple singles this year, his biggest track is a team up with Drake on the song “IDGAF.” The track has been a substantial hit for both artists debuting near the top of the Hot 100 and sticking around in the top 10 in successive weeks.

Now, he’s begun teasing his new era with a trailer for the upcoming album. The “Lifestyle Corporation” trailer shows off a series of futuristic animations. It’s back by narration of a corporate police state who is controlling and likely oppressing people’s freedom. In the comments fans quickly called out one particular influence that seems to loom large over the trailer. “Bro read the 1984 by George Orwell and now we got this,” one of the top comments on the post reads. Check out the full trailer and various fan reactions below.

Yeat’s New High Concept Album Trailer

Just last month, Yeat shared his newest single “WTF they on.” He dropped the trippy banger exclusively on YouTube which might explain why it hasn’t caught on quite as much with fans. The track has racked up 700k views on YouTube since it first dropped two weeks ago. It’s unclear whether the song is leftover from previous studio sessions or intended for his new album.

The last single he shared to streaming “bigger then everything” dropped back in March. That track has collected an impressive 25 million streams on Spotify alone since it dropped. While his new announcement doesn’t come with a release date or much of any concrete information, it still has fans hyped for what Yeat is cooking next. What do you think of the trailer Yeat shared teasing his new album? Let us know in the comment section below.

Finesse2tymes Gives Heartfelt Response To Fan Backlash For His Islam Comment

Overnight, Finesse2tymes took to his Instagram story to make a comment about his upcoming album. It wasn’t any kind of formal announcement nor did it really have anything to do with the music on the project itself. “After this album, I’m converting Muslim” he said in an otherwise blank story post. Unsurprisingly, this prompted a variety of reactions online from rap fans online.

Now Finesse is responding to some of the backlash he faced from particularly critical fans. “Y’all always making fun and laughing when a person trying to get they life together, If u struggling and wondering why, it’s because u look down on everybody and u still down yourself,” he responded in the comments of a repost of his original comment. He made a full, heartfelt statement on the importance on mental health and how online trolls are only bullying someone more successful then them. “Mental health awareness is real, And converting to Islam, Muslim, it’s all the same, but y’all look for for any flaw to laugh at someone who’s successful or doing more than u, I understand, god bless u people, inshallah,” he concludes.

Finesse2Tymes Responds To Fan Criticism

Last month, Finesse2tymes dropped a new collaboration. He teamed up with Tee Grizzley for a new single. The track was fittingly titled “Grizzley 2Tymes” and featured an impressive amount of chemistry from the pair. The track is clicking with fans as well racking up more than 1.8 million streams on Spotify in the moth since it was released.

The last single of his own that Finesse2tymes shared came at a fitting moment. In August, he dropped the single “Can’t Go To Jail.” The song hilariously came just a week after he was arrested. The arrest spawned from a federal warrant issued back in 2018. The hilariously timed song featured guest verses from Sett and YTB Fatt. What do you think of Finesse2tymes response to fans criticizing him for saying he’ll convert to Islam? Let us know in the comment section below.

Chris Brown’s New Album Will Be Twice As Long As Originally Promised

Back in August, Chris Brown announced his 11th studio album. For the project he was really leaning into the number 11. The album was called 11:11 and was set to drop on November 11, with 11 tracks. It’s that last detail that he’s now walking back on. After some fans expressed disappointment in the short tracklist given how long Brown’s recent albums have been, he decided to switch things up.

Earlier today he announced the official tracklist for the album which now features 22 songs. It’s still partially a play on the album title since 22 songs is exactly double the original 11. “HEALING ENERGY ON ME” Brown captioned an Instagram post revealing the names of the songs set to appear on the album. One thing he didn’t reveal is the features. While he did show fans which track have guests featured on them he’s keeping it a secret who appears where. Check out the tracklist announcement and fan reactions below.

Jaded Drops November 17

“I wrote our names on the mirror, hopin’ to see it clearer,” Toosii rhymes, seeking clarity amid the slurry of feelings he’s been overcome with. I want you to know, death ain’t my closest fear
I fear losin’ love, ’cause death is the end of the story
