The glamorous backdrop of the Cannes Film Festival took an unexpected turn when an altercation involving some big-name celebrities erupted. According to initial reports, Travis Scott and Tyga had allegedly gotten into a public fight. Naturally, this sparked significant buzz and speculation. This was especially true due to their shared history with reality TV star Kylie Jenner. However, new information has revealed that it wasn’t actually Tyga that Travis had gotten into a scuffle with. So, what really happened?

The Incident At Cannes 

According to a source who spoke to E! News, Alexander “A.E.” Edwards fought with Travis at a party. On May 23, 2024, Travis Scott and Tyga were at “The After” party hosted by Richie Akiva, following the 2024 amFar Gala. Travis, Tyga, and A.E. were all on stage being introduced by the event’s host. The clash reportedly began when Travis allegedly snatched the mic out of Richie’s hand and threw it to the floor. A.E then tried to de-escalate the situation but Travis walked off stage, only to return with rapper and record producer, Southside. According to the source, Southside became aggressive with A.E., which led to him getting punched by A.E. The source stated: “Southside began to become aggressive with people on stage and pushed A.E… Things escalated when Southside decided to not calm down, so A.E. eventually punched Southside.

You may be wondering what all this had to do with Travis Scott. Well, the rapper became part of the incident when he allegedly tried to push A.E. off the stage. On the other hand, Tyga was spotted standing behind the DJ booth, seemingly unfazed by everything going on.  Security eventually intervened and managed to break up the fight without any serious injuries. After the incident, Travis Scott and Southside promptly left while A.E. and Tyga chose to stay and enjoy the party until the early morning, according to the source.

Is Kylie Jenner To Blame?

Videos of the scuffle soon circulated online, showing the chaotic scene and drawing widespread attention. Fans quickly speculated that the brawl began because of Tyga and Travis’s past connection to Kylie Jenner. Tyga and Kylie Jenner dated publicly from 2014 to 2017, during which time their relationship was often in the media spotlight. After their breakup, Kylie began dating Travis in 2017. The couple have two children together and finally split in 2023.

This shared romantic history has occasionally fueled rumors of rivalry between the two rappers. However, there has been no evidence to prove that the scuffle was because of the model. After all, Travis Scott and Tyga have had a few interactions over the years that have not led to fights. Both have also maintained successful music careers and have crossed paths at various industry events. For example, in 2022, Tyga supported Travis by attending Travis’s first performance since his 2021 Astroworld Festival. Altogether, the two rappers are evidently amicable and cordial with each other, at least in public. In the wake of the Cannes incident, neither Travis Scott, Tyga, A.E., Southside, nor Richie have made a public statement.

Jack Harlow Is “Trying To Focus On The Positive” After Having To Cancel Gazebo Festival Over Tornado Warnings

Jack Harlow has had to cancel the final day of his inaugural Gazebo Festival after severe weather hit the Louisville, Kentucky area on Sunday. Organizers confirmed that tornado warnings were enough to bring an early close to the festival. Harlow reacted to the news on his Instagram Story afterward.

“Well. We have to cancel day 2 of @gazebo. We are currently on a tornado watch. I know things cleared up a little bit but the bad weather has damaged the site and there are more storms and dangerous winds on the way. This means everyone on day 2 including myself won’t be performing anymore,” he wrote. “I’m trying to focus on the positive because all I felt was happiness yesterday. I’m grateful for our flawless first day and for the way this city came together. Thank you so much. I’m sorry.”

In a statement from the organizers of the festival, they wrote: “The safety of our patrons, artists and staff is paramount. Due to continuing hazardous conditions throughout the early afternoon and a second wave of weather expected this evening, we have made the very difficult decision to cancel the remainder of Gazebo Festival.” Attendees who bought tickets for Sunday will be receiving a full refund while other fans who grabbed passes for the entire weekend will be getting 50 percent back. In addition to Harlow, the final day was going to include performances from PinkPantheress, Omar Apollo, and Slum Village, among others. SZA, Vince Staples, James Blake, and more artists already made appearances at the event.

Nicki Minaj was not happy with DJ Boof after he shared a picture of himself signing a woman’s chest on his Instagram Story over the weekend. “I’m really famous [cry laughing emoji] They asked me to sign their boobs,” Boof captioned the post. Minaj took to X (formerly Twitter) to scold him for doing so and threaten to fire him if he acts out again. “I promise I’ll fire him if I EVAHHHHH see this again. Df [Da f**k],” she wrote.

When one fan responded that he’s “over here trynna ride the sign my titties wave like,” Minaj joked, “Like??!! It’s clear to SEE boof wanna be ME.” Fans shared plenty of laughs while coming to his defense in the replies. “Let him have his moment,” one user wrote with a number of laughing emojis. The humorous posts come after Minaj dealt with some serious legal trouble in Amsterdam over the weekend as well. While she was trying to travel to Manchester for a show on Saturday night, authorities detained her and accused her of carrying drugs. She recorded the ordeal on Instagram Live while claiming it was an ambush afterward. “They’ve been trying to stop me from coming to every show,” she wrote on X afterward. “They took my bags before I could see them. Put it on the plane. Now saying they’re waiting on customs. This is what it looks like when ppl are paid big money to try to sabotage a tour after all else failed. Everything they’ve done is illegal.”

Multiple Music Festivals, Including Sueños And Jack Harlow’s Gazebo Festival, Ended Early Or Were Canceled Due To Extreme Weather

This weekend was a tough one for music festivals, as two major events ended up getting cut short due to extreme weather conditions.

Jack Harlow’s two-day Gazebo Festival started on Saturday, May 25, but the second day was canceled before it even began. The area of the Louisville, Kentucky festival was put on a tornado watch, and ultimately, Day 2 was called off.

A statement from organizers said in part, “The safety of our patrons, artists and staff is paramount. Due to continuing hazardous conditions throughout the early afternoon and a second wave of weather expected this evening, we have made the very difficult decision to cancel the remainder of Gazebo Festival.”

Chicago’s Sueños Festival suffered a similar fate. The city faced rain and thunderstorms on Sunday the 26th, enough to delay the festival’s start. Doors ended up opening at 4 p.m. local time, instead of at noon as initially scheduled. At about 8 p.m., minutes after Maluma had taken the stage, the festival was evacuated.

It wasn’t just those two parts of the country, either: CenTex Country Music Fest — which was set to go down in Temple, Texas on June 1 — has also been canceled due to damage a May 22 storm caused to the festival grounds.

This all comes after this year’s Lovers & Friends Festival was canceled earlier this month, also for weather-related reasons.

Yung Miami Claims She Lied About Diddy’s Golden Showers

One of the most viral and salacious stories about Yung Miami and Diddy’s previous relationship was her apparent admission on her Caresha Please podcast that she liked golden showers. If you don’t know what those are, it doesn’t take long to connect the dots concerning what that name could mean in an intimate context. Regardless, she’d previously spoken on how she just did that to promote her new card game, and doubled down with a recent tweet. “I was playing!” the Florida rapper tweeted, responding to a fan who brought the golden showers up. “A n***a NEVER EVER PEE’D on me! I did that to promote my card game [dollar sign eyes and tongue face emoji] & it did exactly what I needed to do!!”

Furthermore, a lot of fans had some heavy debate in the comments for two main reasons. The first was frustration, disapproval, or disappointment at Yung Miami apparently lying and clout-chasing for the sake of engagement and promotion. Of course, there’s only so far you can go with this argument before you consider what your favs have lied and been dishonest about for the sake of sales. The second, however, was about her attempts to distance herself from Diddy after she came up in one of his many lawsuits, which some people think is too little too late.

Yung Miami Says She Lied About Getting Peed On By Diddy… Again

Regardless of whether or not Yung Miami is trying to disassociate from Diddy, just doing more engagement promo, or will actually face consequences for the Lil Rod lawsuit, fans probably aren’t done reflecting on this relationship. After all, even the most vague of comments from either side had fans theorizing and speculating on their status, which would flip-flop all the time. On the other hand, this was Sean Combs’ last new romantic relationship before this scandal really erupted, so it’s a fresh comparison point for some. That’s not to insinuate she has faced exactly the same alleged crimes, but fans were still concerned for her.

Meanwhile, Yung Miami became a trending topic when the Diddy and Cassie assault footage hit the Internet, so fans clearly care about her role or implication in the story. We still don’t know exactly how connected they are when it comes to the alleged crimes. Maybe we never will, but we doubt that this is the last that we’ll hear of this former couple. They have captivated far too many people to ignore.

Diddy’s Former Bodyguard Foresees His Arrest For 2Pac’s Murder Coming Soon

Diddy’s former bodyguard, Gene Deal, claims an arrest for the Bad Boy mogul regarding the killing of 2Pac is imminent. During an appearance on The Art of Dialogue, Deal speculated how a federal investigation into Diddy, which included the Homeland Security raids on his properties, last month, could be coming to a close.

“The feds are so deep and involved in this that Diddy just might be called up on that 2Pac sh*t,” Deal alleged. “Once they go through the money trail and find out why certain people were given certain positions, it’s going to be a problem because they’re going to look at all that. Anything they can bring up, they’re going to bring it up.”

From there, he mentioned an alleged million-dollar check handed to Eric Von Zip. He claims it was payment for a hit on the legendary rapper. “When Zip came up with the check for a million dollars, he said it was from Blackground Records and he said that’s who he got that money from. So now, if that’s true, then the feds would have to go in and do a money trace on where did that check come from,” Deal further claimed.

Gene Deal Speaks On Diddy

Deal also mentioned the recent release of footage showing Diddy appearing to assault Cassie at a hotel in 2016. “That’s why that tape of Cassie was released,” he argued. “So, anybody who was willing to try to help him, anybody who was trying to say that he ain’t capable of doing this, he ain’t capable of doing that, they got it right there on videotape.” If Diddy does face criminal charges for any of the allegations, Deal has previously admitted he’d be willing to testify. Kanye West’s Infamous “F*ck Adidas” MBDTF Vinyl Hits Auction Block And The Asking Price Is Out Of This World

Kanye West has made some iconic albums during this time as an artist. Overall, one could make the argument that he has the most classic records out of any artist in hip-hop. Moreover, if you expand outside of the genre, you will be hard-pressed to find any artist with as many classics as him. One of those classics is the 2010 masterpiece My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, which many believe to be his best record. Others look to his original trilogy, while some even believe that Yeezus is his best work.

If you remember, back in February, a fan had him sign a vinyl version of MBDTF. As you can see in the video clip below, he wrote “F*ck Adidas” on it. The vinyl record is now being placed on the auction block through Moments in Time. Of course, there is a bit of a catch here. According to TMZ, the vinyl will be sold for over $500K. They won’t accept any bids below that, which means anyone who wants this piece is going to have to shell out a whole lot of money.

Drake Vs. Kendrick Lamar: DJ Akademiks’ Hate-Botting Theory Trashed By Fans

Overall, the Drake and Kendrick Lamar feud has led to a whole lot of wild conspiracy theories online. Fans have been looking for clues in odd places, and have tried to piece together narratives that may or may not exist. Having said that, there is no denying that as it stands, Drizzy is the loser of the battle. Kendrick took the wind out of Drake’s sails with the song “Meet The Grahams,” and he eventually called game with the song “Not Like Us.”

If you have been going to YouTube, you will notice that a lot of Drake’s most recent songs have been inundated with dislikes. “The Heart Part 6” has over 1 million dislikes right now. Moreover, “Family Matters” has 400K dislikes to 800K likes. Lastly, his new collaboration with Sexyy Red currently stands at 80 percent dislikes on YouTube. In the eyes of DJ Akademiks, this recent trend simply isn’t normal. Instead, it appears like some sort of coordinated attack.

Drake Songs Inundated With Dislikes

“Either n****s hating on Drake or n****s hate botting his latest releases,” Akademiks wrote. “His last 2 releases has more dislikes than likes on YouTube. the heart part 6 and his newest feature on Sexyy redd song . And family matters has over 400k dislikes on YouTube. Very abnormal.” Akademiks makes an interesting point, however, for now, there is no evidence of hate-botting. In fact, fans don’t seem all that convinced that there is something nefarious going on. Instead, they think Ak’s bias is shining through here. Perhaps someday, Ak will be vindicated.
