It seems like all is well between Kanye West and Kid Cudi after the two reunited at last night’s Vultures listening party. As Ye and Ty Dolla $ign gear up to drop their forthcoming album, which has faced its fair share of ups and downs, it appears that they’ve revamped the tracklist after its initial debut in Miami earlier this week. In Vegas, where listening session #2 took place, a video surfaced of Ye and Cudi embracing each other with excitement The two rappers have decided to put their differences aside and linked for a new collaboration.

As Ye and Ty Dolla $ign played a few new records from their forthcoming album, alongside North West, they stunned fans when they debuted a new song together featuring Cudi. The record, titled “GUN TO MY HEAD,” was performed by Ye and Ty Dolla $ign, shocking fans once Cudi’s vocals kicked in. Although a new tracklist for the project hasn’t surfaced, it seems like Ye and Ty Dolla $ign pulled out all the stops for their forthcoming project.

Kid Cudi & Kanye West Beef Ends

If you recall, the two had a huge falling out in 2022 that spilled into the public eye. Ye threw some shots during his infamous Instagram tirade while Cudi vowed that he would never work with the “dinosaur” again.” Ultimately, the two made it clear that they still appreciate each other after Ye debuted a new collaboration with his Kids See Ghosts collaborator during his chaotic Vultures listening party last night.

Hopefully, Vultures will hit streaming services soon. As of last night, Ye was still trying to clear verses including one from Nicki Minaj on “New Body.” Unfortunately, Nicki wasn’t necessarily willing to do so, hopping on Instagram Live to shut down Kanye’s request. Tory Lanez Motions To Dismiss His Sentence Due To New Testimony & “Childhood Trauma”

Tory Lanez is seeking to vacate his ten-year sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion, according to new reports from Meghann Cuniff. The reasoning behind this legal filing stems from a new testimony on behalf of his driver and bodyguard Jauquan Smith, who did not testify during his initial trial. While he didn’t see who shot the gun, he claimed to have seen the rapper and singer try to take the weapon away from Kelsey Harris before the shooting. “[Lanez] and Ms. Harris began struggling as Mr. Peterson tried to unarm Ms. Harris,” his statement, filed this week, reads. “I was still pulling [Megan] and did not see who shot the weapon.”

Not only that, but the Canadian artist’s habeas petition for re-sentencing also brings up other factors. For one, he wants the appellate to take into account his “childhood trauma” in their assessment of his case, as he also did with the sentencing judge. In addition, Tory Lanez expressed that deportation should not have become part of this decision due to its discriminatory nature. The specifics of these arguments remain unclear, but these summaries offer some necessary context for what aspects he is dissatisfied with.

Meghann Cuniff’s Update On Tory Lanez Appeal

Furthermore, Cuniff indicated on her social media platforms and articles that authorities will consider Tory Lanez’s petition along with his appellate brief. However, no one expects them to come to a conclusive decision on the matter for a couple of months given some logistic work-arounds. For example, the three-judge panel in this appeal stated that they will consider the petition once they have the entire appellate, which they haven’t filed yet. As of writing this article, it’s due December 26, so the defense still has time to prep it accordingly. Still, we’re sure that the 31-year-old would rather move things along as fast as possible so he can get an answer.

Meanwhile, this follows his attacks against Cuniff in a new promo video. Given how this whole case has progressed since the jury decided on a verdict, we’re sure that it won’t fully be over for years to come. Kid Cudi Reveals “INSANO” Release Date

Kid Cud was supposed to drop his album INSANO back in September. Overall, it was going to be part of a stacked release date. However, numerous artists on that day decided to delay their albums. Polo G also did something similar, much to the chagrin of fans. Regardless, Cudi has continued to release singles and snippets since that time. His supporters have been anticipating a 2024 release, and there have been all sorts of teasers. On social media, Cudi continues to talk about the potential features.

Last night turned out be massive for Cudi. He reunited with Kanye West and is set to be on the album Vultures with Ty Dolla Sign. Furthermore, he made an announcement regarding his upcoming album. Effectively, fans got an official release date. In the tweet below from NFR Podcast, you can see that he is going to drop on January 12th. Interestingly enough, that is not too far away. He will pretty well be releasing his album in exactly four weeks from now. That is an exciting prospect for all of his fans.

Kid Cudi Gives Fans Hope

Additionally, a ton of great features are confirmed so far. Juice WRLD, Travis Scott, Lil Yachty, Pharrell, ASAP Rocky, Pusha T, and even Wiz Khalifa will be on the album. Previously, Cudi said that this project would have over 40 songs on it. At this point, it remains to be seen whether or not that will actually be the case. However, there is no doubt that this is an album that fans are quite excited for. Cudi always brings a unique sound to the table, and his diehards are hoping for something iconic.

Playboi Carti is someone who is constantly being very mysterious. Overall, this has annoyed fans quite a bit. They just want music, however, Carti has forced them to wait. Luckily, it would appear as though the wait is actually almost over. Recently, it was revealed that Carti would be dropping a new album in January. Furthermore, he came through with a track last weekend called “Ur The Moon.” This was all good news, and for fans, the good news keeps on rolling in.

For instance, last night, he dropped another new song called “2024.” He is clearly going in a whole direction with his next album, and fans cannot wait to hear what he has in store for us. This new track is getting rave reviews, and it is clear that fans are in for a real treat, moving forward. Furthermore, Carti took to Instagram and revealed that he sent Drake a message. The two called each other “twin,” with Drake encouraging the artist to call him. He even gave Carti praise for the new track.

Kanye West Asked Nicki Minaj To Clear A ‘Vultures’ Song, Minutes Before He Was Supposed To Release The Album, And She Said No

As of this post, it’s nearly 8 a.m. ET, and Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign have not yet released their collaborative album Vultures, which was expected to drop at midnight ET. Given West’s history of album delays and working on projects until the last possible second, this isn’t particularly surprising. This isn’t even the first time Vultures has faced a delay, as it was reportedly once set to drop on October 13.

As for why the album isn’t out yet, it looks like West was trying to cross some T’s and dot some I’s before the final buzzer.

At 10:23 p.m. ET last night (December 14), 97 minutes before the album was presumably set for a midnight release, West tweeted a screenshot of a text he supposedly sent to Nicki Minaj, which read, “Hi it’s ye. May I call you about clearing new body on the new album.”

As NME notes, Minaj gave Kanye’s request a public “no.” During an Instagram Live broadcast last night, she said, “Child, that train has left the station, OK? No disrespect in any way. I just put out a brand new album. Now why would I put out a song that has been out for three years? Come on, guys. You know?”

In a February 2022 interview, Minaj said of “New Body,” a demo of which leaked back in 2018, “The public adored ‘New Body.’ ‘New Body’ is the biggest hit record that never came out. So what I thought was interesting was that Kanye made me write my ‘New Body’ verse four times over in order to fit into where he was creatively and spiritually in his life. […] I missed it by a year, I guess. Had ‘New Body’ been out when he was not in his gospel era, then it would’ve seen the light of day. But, it didn’t, so it wasn’t meant to be. Everybody knows that’s the hit that got away. […] I think the ship has sailed for ‘New Body,’ everybody has come to love the original way they heard it.”

All that said, it is still December 15 right now, so West and Ty still have well over half a day to get everything in order and release Vultures before the weekend if that’s something they’re committed to doing.

Nicki Minaj Addresses DJ Envy, Disses Him For Alleged Real Estate Scam

Nicki Minaj is someone who has a lengthy list of enemies. Overall, some of this has been self-inflicted. However, there are quite a few out there who just hate blindly. If you were to go on social media, you would see wars between the Barbz and her Antis. For those who may not know, an Anti is Stan Twitter speak for someone who is against a particular artist. The Barbz feel like there are coordinated attacks to take down Nicki, and that is something that has always been a point of contention.

Recently, Nicki claimed that Billboard might be trying to take sales away from her. Of course, this united the Barbz who are doing everything they can to get her numbers up. Furthermore, Minaj also went after none other than DJ Envy of The Breakfast Club. Envy had previously said he doesn’t play Minaj’s music on the radio. Nicki took that as her being blackballed, and she had something to say about it. She even took a swipe at a pending legal situation that allegedly involved Envy.

Nicki Minaj Had Time Last Night

“Remember how cocky dj envy was when he was saying he black balls my music on the radio?” Nicki asked. “Ask yourself how a DJ could get away w/that behavior. Then I remember him selling them busted houses & I have to laugh… We prayed, envy 1 by 1… God will show y’all that you are NOT GOD.” For those who don’t know, Envy has been implicated in the Cesar Pina real estate fraud case. Although Envy says he was a victim, there are some other victims who allege he was complicit in the whole thing.

Whether or not Envy decides to respond to this, remains to be seen. No matter what, it is clear that Minaj is showing very little mercy to those who have wronged her in the past. Nicki Minaj Refuses To Clear “New Body” Verse For Kanye West

It looks like we might end up waiting a while for the long-awaited arrival of Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s Vultures, especially since people, such as Nicki Minaj, only received notifications about clearing samples and verses last night. If you recall, a song called “New Body” emerged during the now-scrapped Yandhi era. Ye and Nicki came through with easily one of their best collaborations since “Monster,” though it required several rewrites. And while Nicki, at one point, urged Ye to release the song in its entirety, she doesn’t seem too keen on dropping the record right now.

A screenshot of an incredibly polite text message from Ye to Nicki surfaced online, reading, “Hi it’s ye… May I call you about clearing new body on my album.” The clock was ticking ahead of the album’s supposed release, even though the pre-save on Apple Music disappeared hours before Vultures was scheduled to drop on DSPs. Additionally, Ye already previewed the song earlier in the week during the Vultures rave in Miami, so naturally, fans have been under the impression that there would be an official release.

Nicki Responds To Ye

Unfortunately, that might not be the case. Nicki later hopped on Instagram Live where she got a few things off of her chest, including the issues with Ye over the song. According to her, it’s a little too late to be releasing a song they recorded years ago. “Now regarding Kanye, chile, that train has left the station,” she said. “Okay, no disrespect in anyway. I just put out a brand-new album. Why would I put out a song that’s been out for three years? C’mon guys.”

So, it looks like we, unfortunately, won’t be hearing “New Body” in its entirety when Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign release, Vultures. However, Thursday night’s listening party seemingly unveiled a new tracklist entirely with even more features including Lil Wayne, Future, and Playboi Carti. On the topic of Carti, Ye also contributed production to the Atlanta rapper’s new single, “2024.” Check out Nicki’s response above.

Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign Rave Shut Down, Lil Durk Saves The Day By Streaming Album From Unknown Location

Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign had a big night planned in Las Vegas. Overall, they were going to come through and showcase their new album, Vultures. Fans were expecting the project to drop as soon as midnight struck. Of course, that has not taken place. Instead, the album is nowhere to be found, and the rave stream was a bit of a disaster. Sure, we got to hear some new songs, but as you are about to see, fans did not get what they bargained for. Instead, they had to wait for a featured artist on the album to save the day.

Essentially, according to the Twitter account Kurrco, the rave was shut down by the authorities. It is unclear as to why this was the case, however, it happened, and fans were pretty upset about it. Luckily, Lil Durk was ready with a spot for all of the artists to congregate at. No one knows where this place was, although we do know that the stream of it was titled “Vultures City.” It was here that we got to hear a ton of new song previews from some extremely massive artists.

Kanye West Gets Saved By Durk

Among some of the features on the album are Playboi Carti, Quavo, Lil Wayne, Lil Durk, Rich The Kid, and even Future. Furthermore, we already know that Lil Baby, Freddie Gibbs, and North West will also appear on the album. These are some massive features, and we’re sure there are more coming our way. However, it still remains to be seen if the album will even come out today. Donda came out on a Sunday back in 2021, so you never really know. Hopefully, we get some clarity, very soon.

Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign Preview “Vultures” Songs With Lil Wayne, Future, Playboi Carti, & More

Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have their new album coming out. Although it was supposed to drop at midnight, fans should have known that it wouldn’t be so easy. Instead, the two are doing their rave in Las Vegas and are trying to get more people excited about the album. Unfortunately, things got shut down in the original locations. Subsequently, Ye had to go to Lil Durk’s spot where we were met with some pretty bad wifi and connectivity issues. Regardless, some new songs were played that should get people hyped.

A few nights ago, we got to see some songs from the likes of Freddie Gibbs, North West, and even Lil Baby. However, on Thursday night, we got to hear some songs featuring others. Below, you can find the previews to some songs that feature the likes of Lil Durk and Future. Meanwhile, there is another song out with Rich The Kid. RTK may seem like a bit of a wildcard as far as features are concerned. However, that is Ye for you. He is always switching things up for the fans.

Throughout the rest of the evening, he revealed a new song with none other than Kid Cudi. It seems like the two have reunited, which is something that has fans more than excited. Moreover, we even have a song with Lil Wayne. Lastly, a song with Quavo and Playboi Carti was also shown off. Ye is bringing out the big guns, and while some fans thought his industry friends would abandon him, it appears that has not been the case. Whether these songs are actually good, remains a different story.

Lil Dicky Is On A Romatic Mission To Become ‘Mr. McAdams’ On A Special Song From The ‘Dave’ Soundtrack

In the third season of FX’s Dave, which premiered this past April, rapper Lil Dicky plays a fictional version of himself, navigating tour life and adjusting to fame. In a special episode this season, Dicky attends the MET Gala for the first time. Feeling like an outsider in the A-list crowd, Dicky steps out of the dining room and into the main hallways for a brief moment, where he meets actress Rachel McAdams.

Over the course of the subsequent episodes, the two develop a fling, inspiring Dicky to write a new single, “Mr. McAdams.”

“Mr. McAdams / Rachel they gon’ call me Mr. McAdams / I’ll take your name girl, facts / It’s insanely farfetched / I ain’t playing, why you think I’ve been rapping / To be Mr. McAdams, say yes,” Dicky rap sings on the song’s chorus.

Getting McAdams for this season of Dave was obviously a big ask. In an interview with Variety, Dicky opened up about taking risks with each episode, and how rewarding it was to watch pan out in real time.

“…I’m excited about where the show can go next,” said Dicky. “There’s so much room to grow for me personally, and for the character in the show and for the stories that we’re telling. And I feel very well-equipped to continue telling those stories.”
