Bobbi Althoff Seemingly Pulls Up To Kendrick Lamar’s Music Video Shoot In Compton

There are a lot of rumors surrounding a Kendrick Lamar music video shoot in Compton this weekend, and there’s very little concrete information to go by. The big assumption is that this will be for “Not Like Us,” but it’s also possible that it’s for another project or track entirely, so we’ll have to wait and see. However, if it is for the Mustard-produced Drake diss track, it will be one heck of an ironic shoot from what the shindig’s rumored guest list indicates. Moreover, new clips of Bobbi Althoff with YG and a big crowd emerged online which placed her in Compton for this video shoot.

Furthermore, she obviously sticks out like a sore thumb in the clips below, and if she really is going to be in a Kendrick Lamar music video, we’re sure that “Not Like Us” would point out this contrast in quite the ironic or playful manner. But it still seems pretty bizarre, so we’ll need more context by the time (or if) this rumored visual drops. For those unaware, Bobbi Althoff rose to fame as a social media personality and interviewer with an awkward humor and casual demeanor to her. It got her both love and hate all over the Internet, and also landed her an interview with none other than Drake that then resulted in an allegedly soured relationship with a lot of salacious and odd claims emerging about them.

Bobbi Althoff In “Bompton,” Possibly For Kendrick Lamar Music Video Shoot

As such, this all sounds like a recipe for a master Drake troll if this is really Kendrick Lamar’s move and plan for it, albeit one that could blow up in his face easily. Like we mentioned before, we’re going to need to understand the context behind this in a pretty crystal clear manner. Regardless, this is part of the massive hype that “The Pop Out” reignited on Juneteenth in Los Angeles, so we’ll see what happens with the alleged music video. Maybe there’s an inside joke here that we can’t understand yet.

Meanwhile, Drake hasn’t said much about Kendrick Lamar’s recent moves, except a potential message in an IG Story message to his head of security and OVO member Chubbs. The thought of his reaction to Bobbi Althoff possibly linking up with K.Dot is quite comical. Does Drizzy want some due credit for putting Althoff on, or does he expect loyalty from her? Either way, we’d expect a subliminal about her being “not like” them at some point.

Kendrick Lamar Allegedly Filming “Not Like Us” Music Video In Compton Soon

Kendrick Lamar has been dominating 2024 with a plethora of diss tracks, and one earth-shattering feature. Overall, it all started with the song “Like That” in which he threw some shots at Drake and J. Cole. Eminem’s “Houdini” Music Video Gets Approval From Adam West’s Family

Eminem is silly again. The rapper is gearing up for the release of his new album, The Death of Slim Shady, and his new single “Houdini,” lays the groundwork. “Houdini” is a throwback to the old Shady style in every sense of the word. It not only recaptures the sound of the early 2000s (tries to, at least), but it recreates elements of Eminem’s iconic “Without Me” video. In particular, the part where Eminem and Dr. Dre dress up like Batman and Robin.

Em and Dre don’t go for the modern, gritty Batman look, either. Their silly costumes and wall climbing activities are pulled directly from the 1960s TV show starring Adam West. The beloved comedy actor died in 2017, but his daughter, Nina Tooley, had nothing but positive things to say about the tribute. “My dad would have loved the video,” she told TMZ. “I could hear my dad’s distinct chuckle when the rapper was trying to scale a building with the ‘Bat Rope’ just like he and [Burt Ward] did in the series.” This type of response is no surprise to longtime West fans.

Adam West’s Daughter Praised Eminem’s Humor

Adam West was known for having a sense of humor about himself and the Batman TV show. He loved that fans would parody and pay tribute to the show over the decades. He even did so himself when he voiced the Caped Crusader in the 2017 animated film Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders. Eminem has been similarly vocal in his love for superheroes. He got a chance to record the theme song for the blockbuster film Venom. He also praised the likes of Spider-Man and Batman during an interview with Genius.

“I’ve always been into comic books,” the rapper stated. “Spiderman, Hulk, old Batmans, Supermans — mostly vintage Marvel sh*t from before I was born. Just being able to have those pieces of history is crazy.” Eminem then went on to flex his comic book knowledge against other rappers who claim to be experts. “I would not want to face off with somebody comparing comic book knowledge,” he asserted. “But I know a pretty good amount.”

Raye Returns With New 7-Minute Single, “Genesis,”: Stream

Raye has returned with her first single since releasing her project, My 21st Century Blues, last year. On the new track, titled “Genesis,” she reflects on her experiences with loneliness in her 20s, social media, and more. With the release, Raye shared a candid message about her inspiration for the song in a press release. She wrote: “There is a Nina Simone quote, ‘It is an artist’s duty to reflect the times.’ This quote is everything to me and I believe the best way I can try to do this is through my art and my music. There is so much darkness and pain in this world we live in, and I wanted to create something both as deeply personal and as raw as I could find myself to be about my own mind and the world I see around me.”

She continued: “The song is a 7-minute piece that I have crafted and scrutinized over the last year and a half, experimenting with different genres and sonic expressions, beneath all the layers and the lyrics, the underlying message is ‘Let There Be Light.’ It is a prayer and a plea and a cry for help and I really hope this song will be able to bring some hope, the way this music does for me, to those who need it most.” Check out “Genesis” below and be on the lookout for further updates on Raye on HotNewHipHop.

👀 Kaliii & Hunxho Accidentally Spark Romance Rumors While Shooting Music Video

Earlier this week, Kaliii and Hunxho inadvertently left fans suspicious after the two artists were spotted together at a gas station. A nearby fan saw the duo chatting in front of a fridge, photographing them over a rack of Takis. Almost immediately, social media users began to speculate that their outing meant they were more than friends, however, that doesn’t appear to be true.

While supporters are certainly having fun with their theories, it looks as if they were simply at the gas station to shoot for an upcoming collab. Today, Kaliii shared a clip of herself Twitter/X dancing in front of what looks to be the same gas station refrigerator. She urged fans to pre-save her next album, Gas You Up, which will feature Hunxho.

Kaliii Teases Upcoming Hunxho Collab

This isn’t the first time Hunxho had fans thinking he was straying from his girlfriend, Keyshia Cole, however. Last month, the Atlanta rapper teamed up with Gloss Up for her steamy “Come Here” video, which similarly left viewers in shambles. Gloss Up was in no rush to shut them down, instead fueling them with flirty Instagram posts and shady Tweets about his partner. Luckily, it doesn’t seem as though the drama did any real damage to Hunxho and Cole’s bond.

Fans are still skeptical though, and are questioning how Hunxho always finds himself in these situations in The Neighborhood Talk‘s comments section. They’re also curious why he’s working with someone who recently had problems with his partner. “Why every video he in, he gotta be touchy,” one Instagram user asks. “Keyshia Cole strong as hell,” another says. What do you think of Kaliii and Hunxho accidentally giving fans the idea that they’re an item? Are you looking forward to hearing what they have to offer on their upcoming collab?
