Rolling Loud California 2024 will overtake the same venue, beginning tonight (March 14) with ¥$ (Ye and Ty Dolla Sign). Nicki Minaj is the headliner on Friday, March 15, followed by Post Malone on Saturday, March 16, and a co-headlining set from Future and Metro Boomin on Sunday, March 17.

How Much Are Tickets For The 2024 Glastonbury Festival?

Well, according to Glastonbury Festival, “Tickets for this year’s Festival are sold out, but our prize draw for 20 pairs is raising emergency funds to support people affected by conflict.” You can enter the prize draw here. As of this writing, 22,751 people had entered and donated money, raising over £420,240 (roughly $536,850).

Last November, the UK’s Evening Standard reported, “Standard tickets to Glastonbury Festival 2024 have sold out in less than an hour.” Glastonbury confirmed the tickets had quickly sold out and promised, “There will be a resale of any cancelled or returned tickets in spring 2024.”

Earlier this morning, the first wave of artists performing at the massive Glastonbury Festival in the UK was revealed. As part of the 2024 lineup so far, Dua Lipa, Coldplay, SZA, Shania Twain, LCD Soundsystem, Idles, Disclosure, The National, Janelle Monáe, PJ Harvey, Cyndi Lauper, and many more will be performing.

The festival will be held from June 26 through June 30 this year.

Here’s what to know about how to get tickets.

How To Buy Tickets For Glastonbury Festival 2024

As of right now, tickets for Glastonbury Festival are sold out — and have been for a while. When the tickets went up for sale back in November, music lovers snapped them up within minutes.

“Our thanks to everyone who bought one and we’re sorry to those of you who missed out, on a morning when demand greatly exceeded supply,” the festival informed shortly after, according to The Standard.

However, there is still some hope. Some ticket buyers might not be able to afford it and cancel their tickets when they are set to be charged next month. If this happens, any returned tickets will go back up for sale. Only those who registered before the sale starts will be able to purchase, as Glastonbury is trying to prevent scammers.

Additional information about getting tickets for Glastonbury 2024 can be found on the festival’s website.

Texas’ Governor Proudly Told Artists Boycotting SXSW Over Military Issues To Not ‘Come Back,’ But The Festival Disagrees

SXSW has found itself in a bit of a controversy this year, as some artists have pulled out of the festival due to some of this year’s sponsors, including the US Army. Texas governor Greg Abbott relished in this news, though, tweeting yesterday (March 12), “Bands pull out of SXSW over U.S. Army sponsorship. Bye. Don’t come back. Austin remains the HQ for the Army Futures Command. San Antonio is Military City USA. We are proud of the U.S. military in Texas. If you don’t like it, don’t come here.”

SXSW then issued a statement on social media, making it clear they do “not agree with Governor Abbott,” though. The statement explains their decision to have the Army as a sponsor, and it reads in full:

“SXSW does not agree with Governor Abbott.

We are an organization that welcomes diverse viewpoints. Music is the soul of SXSW, and it has long been our legacy. We fully respect the decision these artists made to exercise their right to free speech.

Across the globe, we are witnessing unspeakable tragedies, the rise of repressive regimes, and the increasing spread of violent conflict. It’s more crucial than ever that we come together to solve these greater humanitarian issues.

The defense industry has historically been a proving ground for many of the systems we rely on today. These institutions are often leaders in emerging technologies, and we believe it’s better to understand how their approach will impact our lives.

The Army’s sponsorship is part of our commitment to bring forward ideas that shape our world. In regard to Collins Aerospace, they participated this year as a sponsor of two SXSW Pitch categories, giving entrepreneurs visibility and funding for potentially game-changing work.

We have and will continue to support human rights for all. The situation in the Middle East is tragic, and it illuminates the heightened importance of standing together against injustice.”

When Does The Pitchfork Music Festival 2024 Lineup Come Out?

pitchfork logo
Pitchfork/Derrick Rossignol

In January, Pitchfork was part of a confusing (and disheartening) merger at Condé Nast that more or less made it one with GQ. Even still, the annual Pitchfork Music Festival will forge on. In July 2023, the festival was held at Chicago’s Union Park and featured Bon Iver, Killer Mike, Perfume Genius, The Smile, Weyes Blood, and so many more.

On Monday morning, March 11, fans received hints as to what will be in store in 2024.

When Does The Pitchfork Music Festival 2024 Lineup Come Out?

It’s coming straight from the source. The festival confirmed on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter), “Our 2024 lineup drops this Wednesday [March 13] at 10 a.m. CT, with GA, PLUS, and VIP tickets on sale at the same time. Let’s gooo.” The post also instructed fans, “Join the text list at the link in bio for lineup clues tomorrow.”

On February 1, Pitchfork announced that Pitchfork Music Festival Chicago would be staged from July 19 to 21, 2024 at Union Park in Chicago. The 2024 ticket pre-sale went live on February 29 at 10 a.m. CST. At the time, Pitchfork advertised, “Secure your 3-Day GA tickets for the lowest price possible at the link in our bio. Payment plans start at just $40 down.”

As mentioned above, tickets will go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, March 13, beginning at 10 a.m. CST. All ticketing information can be found here.

Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, And Jill Scott Will Headline The 2024 Strength Of A Woman Festival

Uproxx attended Mary J. Blige’s inaugural Strength Of A Woman Festival in 2022. The 2024 Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame nominee explained how the event came to be, telling Uproxx, “It was something that just came to us — like, why don’t we do this? Because when we go to the Essence Festival, people are like, ‘I’m going to see Mary.’ So, we’re like, ‘Hmm, well, let me just get my own festival and have everyone come to that festival every year.’”

People will have another opportunity to see Blige at the 2024 Strength Of A Woman Festival And Summit presented by Queen of Hip-Hop Soul and Pepsi in partnership with Live Nation Urban.

“Good Morning NYC!” Blige captioned her Instagram announcement. “We’re proud to present the 2024 Strength Of A Woman Festival And Summit in partnership with @livenationurban. Our purpose is to empower, educate and elevate on May 10-12, Mother’s Day Weekend in New York, NY for the first time. I can’t wait to see you there!”

The 2024 musical lineup features 50 Cent, Jill Scott, Fat Joe, Jadakiss, Muni Long, Lola Brooke, and Funk Flex. As per the press release, the weekend will wrap “with a Gospel Brunch, hosted by Mary J. Blige, and Gospel Concert headlined by The Clark Sisters with Femme It Forward.” Pepsi will also bring food by local Black female restaurateurs to the fan experience through Pepsi Dig In—a platform designed to provide visibility, resources, and awareness to Black restaurateurs.

Pre-sale tickets are available now here, and the general sale is scheduled for Friday, March 8, at 10 a.m. ET.

“I’m so excited to bring our Strength Of A Woman Festival And Summit to my hometown, New York City, a place that has always been a huge source of inspiration for me,” Blige said in a statement. “Having the opportunity to continue to uplift, inspire, and build within my community is the reason I created this festival. I’m so grateful for all the support from our performers, attendees, and, of course, our partners, Live Nation Urban and Pepsi. Nobody does it like New York, so get ready.”
