Keanu Reeves recently spoke out in a Reddit AMA that he took the red pill. He didn’t literally consume it, but the actor acquired the red pill from the set. The iconic Matrix series had many memorable lines and props. However, there are hardly any props that are as memorable as the blue and red pill. In the Reddit AMA, fans were able to ask the well-known actor questions about his career and experience working in films. They also got the chance to ask personal questions, such as Keanu Reeve’s preferences for food and other things.
In the recent AMA, Keanu Reeves opened up about a little-known fact from his time working on the famous series. The Hollywood superstar reveals that he is now in possession of the infamous “red pill” from the set. This red pill is a reference to a pivotal moment in The Matrix, where the lead character, Neo, is given a choice between taking a red pill or a blue pill. The red pill represents a willingness to see the truth. The blue pill, on the other hand, allows Neo to wake up and attend his old life as normal.
One of the questions asked by a fan was whether or not the actor ever stole something from the set. In Keanu fashion, he cheekily responded that he was in possession of the red pill. However, the movie star clarifies that he did not steal it. Instead, it was given to him by the directors of the movie. In a role as life-changing as Neo was, it is no surprise that Keanu Reeves wants something to remember it by. The first Matrix film came out in 1999, and the red pill has been in Keanu’s possession ever since.
Keanu Reeves also talks about other items in his possession. He also has the watch and wedding ring from the John Wick series. Along with those, he kept the sword from 47 Ronin. Keanu has one of the most devoted fan bases that an actor can hope to have. People admire his ability to remain down-to-earth despite his massive stardom. The actor continues to show his humility even as he is answering the onslaught of questions brought to him on the Reddit AMA.
Boosie Badazz is branching out beyond music these days. He undoubtedly made a mark on hip-hop throughout his tenure in the industry. However, he also shown that he’s quite a savvy business person. The rapper’s passion for real estate has been well-documented in the past. It’s not uncommon for Boosie to show off the many renovations at the Boosie Estate. However, he also leaped into the world of film on a smaller scale. Still, it appears that he’s looking to expand his resume and empire further.
In the past two years, Boosie’s ramped up his efforts in film. He launched My Strugglein 2021 which follows the story of a rapper who continues to “trip over his own shoelaces,” per IMDB. Then, he explored the phenomenon of Atlanta’s infamous Water Boys in the film, Water Boyz. Most recently, he dropped the movie Where’s MJ? – a comedy that arrived just in time for the holiday season. It seems that now, he’s gearing up for a bigger and more challenging role that will take him out of his comfort zone.
Boosie Badazz’s L.A. Accent
It seems like Boosie Badazz just landed a new movie role where he’ll depict a Los Angeles native. The rapper took to Instagram this week alongside his friend where he showcased his accent, which produced hilarious results. “You’ll die right now, n***a. On the dead homies, Cuh!” he said as he continued to play up to the West Coast stereotypes. “Working on my Cali role, man. Trying to get my shit together,” he said as he reverted back to his usual voice.
At this point, he began asking his friend about the specific lingo that he needs to use to master his role. After his friend said that he should use “on the dead homies” more often, Boosie wrapped his hands around one another and began to further channel his inner L.A. gang member. “On the dead homies, cuh. I’m hurtin’ right now, n***a,” he said. Check out the full clip above and sound off with your thoughts on Boosie’s L.A. accent in the comment section below. Is Boosie’s accent convincing?
Be prepared to take a journey with Keke Palmer as the multihyphenate entertainer has teased a new project. These days, Palmer’s life has done a 180 now that she’s welcomed her baby boy into the world. She shared the good news of her pregnancy while hosting Saturday Night Live months ago, and more recently, she praised single parents after her first few days with her newborn. Becoming a mom isn’t the only new arrival from Palmer; she shared the first trailer for her docu-film earlier today titled Big Boss.
“I grew up in a very spiritual home. Went to church every Sunday,” Palmer explains in the clip. “I was always in practice as a child. Yet, still curious about what the ‘word’ actually meant. They always said the ‘word’ is meant to be lived. I never knew why until I started living.” A montage of images from the actress’s childhood intermingled with scenes from the docu-film was showed, beginning with a nine-year-old Palmer slating her name.
Keke Palmer Struggled With Self-Worth
“Overcoming this inner narrative that tells me no matter how far I’ve come, I’m still not good enough. Being different is one thing. Feeling lonely? That’s another.” She added that she didn’t need to “be accepted by the cool kids or the elitist. I just need to be accepted by me.” In the caption, she called the project a “musical narrative that chronicles my experience in the music industry.”
Palmer hasn’t been shy about sharing the ups and downs of her career—including the negativity she receives from trolls and critics. In December, she posted a photo of herself at a read-through for Saturday Night Live. Naysayers hopped online to spew hate about her not wearing makeup. “I just saw a few comments of ppl saying I was ugly cause I wasn’t wearing any makeup. And I really want y’all to get the help y’all need because makeup isn’t real,” Palmer wrote. “I’m beautiful in real life, because of who I am, not what I look like.”
She further added, “I wish I could bottle how I feel about myself and sell it. Because some people take comments to heart and these ppl just say anything. I mean truly it’s insane to say anyone is ugly, but especially me. .” Check out the trailer for Big Boss above.
Jonathan Majors has only starred in 13 feature films and a handful of television roles. He hasn’t really been in the mainstream for acting but for a few years. Nevertheless, with every outing, he proves that he’s a force to be reckoned with in Hollywood.
The up and coming actor is in the midst of what might be one of the most successful runs in recent memory. Beginning with his surprise appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe television show Loki, the actor has been in six major projects in about a year and a half.
If there was any doubt as to whether or not the sheer volume would cause Jonathan Majors’ performances to suffer, that should be put to rest. He’s been working incredibly hard, but all his performances are incredible.
The actor hasn’t been around long, but he’s already made a huge imprint on cinema. His future is painfully bright and he reminds people every single time he’s on screen: this is someone to watch.
Jonathan Majors’ performances: Marvel hit a home run
Majors was a relative unknown to mainstream audiences when he appeared in the Loki finale. He stepped into the role and delivered an exceptional performance. Alongside one of the most popular Marvel characters in Loki, He Who Remains stood out.
His dialogue, mannerisms and facial expressions captured audiences and didn’t let them go. Most fans of the show and the franchise were upset that Marvel didn’t reveal Majors to them until the final episode.
Fortunately, the actor is about to be the MCU’s next big bad. He’s replacing Thanos and he might end up appearing more often than the Mad Titan did. He then appeared in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and is set to appear in Loki, Season 2 and be the major villain in Avengers: Kang Dynasty in 2025.
Critics and audiences alike aren’t sure on Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. Most critics disliked the movie and while a lot of the audience enjoyed it, no one was particularly thrilled with it.
One thing everyone can agree on was that Majors‘ performance was incredible. For critics, that’s largely the only positive to take away from the movie. The plot was muddled, the dialogue was rough and the editing and pacing were frustrating at times.
Still, Majors shone throughout and gave audiences a reason to see what was otherwise a disappointing entry in the largest franchise of all time.
He was menacing and commanded attention every time he was on screen. The writing and dialogue was questionable, but Majors made everything work. Every line he delivered was perfectly, which can’t be said of veteran actors Paul Rudd, Michelle Pfeiffer or Michael Douglas.
JonathanMajors is a powerhouse performer
By the time he appeared again as Kang the Conqueror in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he had been in several other projects. He appeared in the Netflix Original The Harder They Fall, which was critically loved.
There, Majors played an outlaw in the old West who wanted to track down and take revenge on an older outlaw for killing his father. It was a different project for Majors, but a powerhouse performance nonetheless.
The film was filled with iconic actors, such as:
Idris Elba
Zazie Beets
Lakeith Stanfield
Damon Wayans
Danielle Deadwyler
Regina King
Delroy Lindo
Yet, it was Majors and his incredible performance that rose above the rest.
The Last Black Man in San Francisco: A forgotten gem of a performance
Long before he was in the MCU or playing the outlaw Nat Love, Majors breakout role arguably came in The Last Black Man in San Francisco. This was not a movie a ton of people saw when it came out as it settled into a more niche audience.
That’s a shame, because it could be the best Jonathan Majors’ acting performance of his young career. In it, he plays a devoted friend trying to balance the line between his friend’s hopes and dreams and the reality of their situation.
Looking back at the 2019 film, it’s easy to see why everyone wants to get their hands on the actor now. It was obvious then that he was a force to be reckoned with on the screen. He displayed all the emotions and the struggle his character was experiencing with pristine accuracy.
To some people, that story and the characters in it aren’t entirely relatable. There aren’t too many people who have experienced losing their childhood home to gentrification, but Majors and company made the story feel like anyone could step into it.
JonathanMajors’ most recent outing might be his best
If the MCU wasn’t enough, Jonathan Majors recently stepped into the iconic Rocky franchise and provided it with easily its best antagonist. The Rocky and Creed enemies are usually one-dimensional and fairly static.
Not Majors’ Damian Anderson. Creed III works for a lot of reasons, but Majors’ pitch-perfect performance is a big reason why. There’s a palpable and understandable rage behind Anderson, but there’s also a patient cleverness to his character.
One could argue that it’s his best performance to date. It’s also most the interesting. It’s the most layered character he’s played and the most understandable, all while being a villain.
Throughout his career, he’s already played a lot of different characters. Each one of them has been so different, yet they’re all incredible performances. Since he’s just 33, audiences everywhere should expect a long and fruitful career full of awards.
Ask ten people who the best rapper of all time is and it’s possible you’ll get ten different opinions. It’s a question that’s been pondered and debated for decades, and one that has only subjective answers. Still, Jonathan Majors couldn’t help but be taken aback by Creed III co-star Michael B. Jordan’s take on the conversation.
On a new episode of Complex’s “GOAT Talk” series, the question of who the best rapper ever is came up. Both actors hesitated and contemplated the tough question, with Majors saying it’s between Jay-Z and Tupac. Eventually, Jordan worked up the courage to declare, “Drake, fight me.”
Majors was shocked, as he burst out into boisterous laughter after responding, “You said Drake?!” Jordan continued, “Jay-Z, Drake? Yeah, it’s tough! It’s tough!” After some more discussion (in which Majors made Jay-Z his final pick), Jordan elaborated, “This is what it is: to have an artist, rapper to rap about things I’ve been through, situations that I can relate to the most… literally, like it literally, [I listen to his music and I think], ‘Oh, I’ve been through that. Oh, I’ve thought that.’ So how it relates consistently, I gotta go there.”
The conversation wrapped up with Majors concluding that he picks Jay-Z for similar reasons.
Yesterday (March 7), Nick Cannon and Kevin Hart announced Who’s Having My Baby? with a trailer. What is it? It looked like an upcoming game show on E! hosted by Hart, in which Cannon looks for a new woman to impregnate and add to the whopping 12 children he already has.
Now, Who’s Having My Baby? is a ridiculous concept for a game show, but in some ways, it seemed somewhat plausible. Cannon has been eager to joke about his prolific paternity and Hart previously got in on the fun by sending Cannon a condom vending machine. Furthermore, perhaps impregnation wasn’t the literal goal of the game show, and the promo was just a clickbait-y sort of introduction for a show with a less atypical premise. E! getting in on the video made everything seem more real, too:
We’re def not kidding around! So excited for this!
Ultimately, though, it does appear that Who’s Having My Baby? is fake, at least in terms of it being a genuine game show. Variety reports that the idea is “actually a gag, orchestrated by comedian Kevin Hart, as a sketch for an upcoming, not-yet-announced project,” which could be announced as soon as today, per “insiders.”
Neither Cannon nor Hart have yet to drop the bit and reveal the show isn’t real, but it appears an announcement on that front is coming soon.

Halloween is still many months away, but a recent horror arrival on Netflix has left some viewers feeling “scarred for life” after watching. The British flick is called The Strays. According to many Twitter users, it has an eerily similar feeling to Jordan Peele’s fan favourite, Get Out. It previously premiered on the streamer at the end of February and has managed to keep the internet talking in the weeks since.
The Nathaniel Martello-White-directed project follows Neve (played by Ashley Madekwe), a light-skinned Black woman living in a suburban English town. She works as a deputy headmistress and is married to Ian (Justin Salinger), a white man. For the most part, Neve seems to avoid embracing her biracial status. When two strangers arrive in town, however, her picture-perfect life begins to unravel in ways you could never imagine.
The Strays Trailer
In the Netflix trailer for The Strays, the troubled woman nearly crashes her car, containing her two children, upon seeing the mysterious figures. Later in the clip, we see Neve and Ian entertaining guests while a creepy man watches on from the pavement outside. “What’s that at the window? Someone’s there, can’t you see?” she asks. Surprisingly, the other guests are left confused, asking the hostess, “What’s wrong with you tonight?”
Easily one of the streamer’s most chilling arrivals so far this year, The Strays has plenty of people speaking their minds on Twitter. “Guys I’m watching ‘The Strays’ on Netflix and I’m just thinking about how Jordan Peele has quite literally created his own film genre,” one user pointed out. “‘Get Out’ literally has sons now I’m actually so shocked lol.”
Twitter Reacts to Netflix’s New Horror Film
“I can honestly say this is the wildest f*cking movie I’ve ever seen,” another person wrote. “Just finished watching ‘The Strays’ on Netflix and I think I’m [scarred] for life because what the hell did I just watch!” someone else vented after viewing the film. The Creedverse moves from Philadelphia to Los Angeles for the latest installment of its series. Creed III was a major hit its opening weekend just a few days ago, and we’re hearing more from its stars about the ins and out of production. Tessa Thompson portrays Bianca, Adonis’s (Michael B. Jordan) significant other, and throughout the film, the growth of their relationship and need to therapy is a core theme. There is one thing, a minor exclusion, that Thompson told The Hollywood Reporter she insisted on.
“I said to them, ‘I’m not saying jawn in this movie because we’ve heard it, we’ve done it. I want to break new territory,’” the actress said. “Not saying ‘jawn’ was also a way of saying inside of the filmmaking that you are going to witness someone that is constantly evolving.” This was important for both Thompson and Jordan, maintaining believability with the maturation of their characters.
Tessa Thompson Helped Michael B. Jordan Calm Down
As the director, Jordan was often running from in front of the camera to looking at the monitor to make sure the scene was set. It was a feat that many actors have tackled, but not all were as successful as Jordan. With nearly a decade of working together, Thompson was impressed with her longtime friend and costar. “Because we are so close in our way and have worked together for so long, I could tell when he was stressed in a moment,” Thompson added.
“I would look at him and he would just give me a face. I would just look at him and think, ‘Oh, he’s having a moment.’ And he then would just say to me, ‘Yeah.’ And I would be like, ‘All right, take a breath.’ And he’d take a breath. So that would be a moment where he would let the air out, but never in a frustrated way. It was just in a, ‘OK, you see me, you know me. This is a moment.’ And I found that so deeply impressive. I also felt really lucky to get to be that kind of support. He was just so tremendous with the crew and everyone.”
Working Through Therapy
In another interview, the actress revealed that she and Jordan attended couple’s therapy in real life. However, they did it while in character, although Thompson further said it helped them process their real relationship issues from their pasts.
Jonathan Majors is undoubtedly turning into one of the biggest stars of the year, in part to his excellent performance as Dame in Creed III. The latest film in the Rocky franchise emerged on Friday to critical and commercial praise. The film reached $100M at the box office in its opening weekend while many have applauded it as one of the best films in the Creed series. Needless to say, the all-star cast and Michael B. Jordan’s excellent directorial debut didn’t disappoint fans who waited years for the follow-up to Creed II.
Majors’s character, Golden Gloves champ Damian “Diamond Dame” Anderson, is a childhood friend of Adonis who ends up serving 20 years in prison for a gun charge (largely due to Donnie’s attack on a man named Leon and subsequently running away). After Dame comes home, he gets Adonis’ help to return to the boxing ring. Majors’ portrayal of Dame proved why he’s a generational talent but apparently, he wouldn’t have been able to get into that space without Nipsey Hussle.
Nipsey Hussle’s Influence On Jonathan Majors
Throughout the movie, Dame uses Nipsey Hussle’s music to enter the ring, largely songs off of Victory Lap. During an interview with Looper, Jonathan Majors explained that Nipsey’s music helped him tap into Dame’s mind. “I listened to a lot of Tupac, Nipsey Hussle,” he said. “All of Nipsey’s stuff was really helpful. They’re from the same area, Dame and him, so that’s cool.” Additionally, Majors said Nip helped him with dialect work. “The things he’s talking about are things that resonate with the world that Dame comes from, so that was very helpful,” he said.
Nipsey’s influence evidently seeped through Dame’s character and into the movie as a whole. He explained that Nip also made music that touched on a range of emotions. “There’s other songs that come from your subconscious that touch you in a way that can align you,” he said. “You write that song next to the top of the page or whatever, and there’s playlist upon playlist upon playlist,” he added, explaining that he would note what songs would work in specific scenes.
