Nicki Minaj Apologizes To Photographer After Attacking Him During Show

During Nicki Minaj’s recent San Antonio tour stop of her highly successful Pink Friday 2 trek, she did a double take at one point when she thought she saw a “Peeping Tom” looking up at her with a camera from within the stage set-up. Always one to act decisively and staunchly, she kicked the camera. “Ow that’s me! No!” you can hear the cameraman say. “This is one of the craziest things we’ve ever captured. Yall plz look @ this,” the Trinidadian MC captioned her Twitter post showing the moment off. However, on Instagram, she then clarified that she actually kicked her photographer Grizz by accident, as she didn’t recognize him and thought he was just a random creep.

“Dear #GagCitySanAntonio, TEXAS,” Nicki Minaj captioned her recap post. “You are beautiful. In every way. If you only knew how bright you shine through. I’ll never forget this night. For the rest of my life. Wishing God’s divine blessings on each & every person who came out to support. They have the crown, the throne, & the whole castle. #GagCityLA, I will see you tmrw. Love you. [camera emoji]: @grizzleearts the fact that I thought Grizz (one of my fave ppl in all the land), was a peeping tom & began stomping him out. Grizz my apologies I love you. s/o to my other fave @itsjovannisoto & @lord_pny127 & the BARBZ.”

Nicki Minaj Thought Her Photographer Was A “Peeping Tom”

Still, it’s not like Nicki Minaj doesn’t clash with her team often, as she recently blasted an assistant online for a food order she messed up. But at least they got to the bottom of things and were able to clear the situation up, and the initial clip of the kick is a bit funnier with this content in mind.

Meanwhile, even though Nicki Minaj is always looking out for her people, she doesn’t have the same sympathy for her enemies’ colleagues. “Dear fired executives & A&R’s: Don’t be mad, UPS is hiring,” she tweeted at Atlantic Records employees (Cardi B’s record label) after news broke of massive layoffs at the company. “Also, feel free to submit your resumes for a job @ #HeavyOnIt [her imprint with Republic Records].” “They’ve been wanting empty arenas so bad. Obsessed with me while all your friends r getting fired is nasty work,” Nicki had expressed in a previous tweet.

TI Arrested By Mistake At Atlanta Airport: Report

TI just got a pretty rough reminder that his name is a pretty common one, as authorities reportedly arrested him by mistake at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson Airport on Sunday night (August 4), according to TMZ. Specifically, it seems like law enforcement responded to an active warrant from Baltimore, Maryland for a man named Clifford Harris, which is coincidentally the rapper’s real name. This other Harris is reportedly wanted for allegedly being involved in violence against a woman, stalking, and potential firearm possession. Authorities moved the Atlanta trap pioneer from the airport to Clayton County jail and the out-of-state warrant caused an automatic extradition hearing.

Steve Sadow, T.I.’s attorney, reportedly told TMZ that he spoke with Clayton County’s Sheriff’s Office over the phone and got his client out of prison less than two hours after the arrest, and a judge looked over and dismissed the extradition order. This complaint is from June 13, and as of writing this article, it seems like the other Clifford Harris is still a wanted man at large. However, this isn’t the only legal issue that he faced as of late. Tip and Tiny filed a motion to dismiss a lawsuit accusing them of sexual assault and battery.

As for other legal issues in Atlanta, T.I. recently gave his thoughts on how he thinks Young Thug and YSL’s RICO case will end. “He coming home,” he told The Breakfast Club during a recent interview, saying that he’s been in touch with Thugger and that they’re both feeling good about his chances. “I don’t think that the prosecution has successfully proven a case of him knowingly and willingly participating in an active street gang. I just don’t see it.”

“The witnesses they’ve called thus far [haven’t] proven what they said they would prove,” T.I. continued. “I just don’t think that the grounds of their case have been presented properly. Just ain’t seen it. Don’t worry. When he come home, we’ll get it right. Just get him here… He’ll be just fine.” Along with his comments on the Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef, he has a lot of takes to dish out on the rap game, so we’ll see if he says anything about this reported arrest mishap.

Saweetie Speaks Out After Twitter Mistakes Her For Ice Spice

Saweetie is an artist who has been in the news quite a bit as of late. Overall, her relationship with YG has certainly been a hot topic of conversation. This is especially true given the current feud between Quavo and Chris Brown. Recently, the two started dropping diss tracks on one another. Although the back and forth is now over, fans were certainly impressed by all of it. However, it came at the expense of Saweetie’s peace as Brown made the claim that he slept with her while she was still with Quavo.

In the midst of all of this, Saweetie has been looking to drop off a brand-new track called “NANI.” This is a song that had been teased a while back, and has since been given a release date of May 17th. With this new release date in mind, Twitter’s new AI trending tab decided to let fans know about the release. However, instead of saying that the song is by Saweetie, the algorithm messed up and said Ice Spice was dropping the song. This subsequently led to a humorous response from Saweetie, who didn’t seem too offended by the mix-up.

TMZ Posts Pic Of Positive K In Article About Kidd Kreole’s Manslaughter Conviction

Screen Shot 2022 04 07 at 1.05.04 PM

Was this an honest mistake or another case of “all Black people look alike”?

In an article on TMZ that was supposed to inform the public of the outcome of Kidd Creole’s murder case became an embarrassing moment for Positive K, whose picture was mistakenly used instead of The Furious Five member who was convicted of manslaughter in a New York City court this morning.

With the title reading, “THE KIDD CREOLE RAP LEGEND CONVICTED OF MANSLAUGHTER”, TMZ erroneously posted a picture of the “I Got A Man” rapper, who did not think the journalistic blunder should’ve even been able to be posted on a large platform like TMZ.

Many artists and industry insiders commented on Positive’s post, appalled at the ignorance of TMZ’s staff. Hip Hop legendary VJ Ralph McDaniels commented from his @videomusicbox page saying, “Can we have a volunteer to be the fact and photo checker for the outside medis..please?” Producer extraordinaire Pete Rock commented saying, “bro cmon man WTF fa real? i think this is a meme i know TMZ aint do that did they?? 🤦🏾‍♂️ @positive_k_ naw they playin bro lol.” Pete Rock left another comment, saying, “whats crazy is that black folk work up there with those mofos bro smh. They wack for this. Yeah i had to tell them FOH over hev bro @positive_k_

TMZ eventually fixed the blunder, but it is unclear as to whether or not the media giant has apologized to Positive K.
