It seems like the 2023 Met Gala is giving us not just exceptional looks, but also some piping hot tea. Moreover, Yung Miami and Diddy arrived together at the event and matched beautifully with their lavish black fits. On one hand, the City Girl rocked a ring of black fur around her shoulders, complimented by many pearl strings and a see-through black bottom dress. On the other, the Bad Boy mogul donned a black rose-accentuated cape and a striking black vest along with stylish shades. No matter their relationship status, they came with some regal looks to serve.

In fact, their rumored romance and relationship status became the center of La La Anthony’s conversation with them on the red carpet. Furthermore, she asked Diddy, “Do y’all officially go together real bad?” as Yung Miami stood by her side. As Sean Combs gave his answer, he stumbled on his words and playfully told her, “I don’t know what you’re asking.” Not only that, but at one point he asked for a cloth to wipe his face with, whether the heat was causing his sweat or the spicy questions.

This is like my best friend in the world, one of the most beautiful people God has blessed me to meet, and I’m blessed that she’s my date tonight.”

Of course, that interview was quite interesting considering that the “Don’t Play With It” MC previously confirmed that they had split. “We’re still friends!” she remarked to The Cut. “We’re still good friends! But we’re single. That’s not my man. We had our own situation, I’m not gonna put a title on it. We were f***ing with each other hard, we were together every day at one point. He supported me, I supported him. I’ll let the internet call it whatever they want to call it.” With that in mind, his flustered reaction makes much more sense. The 2023 Met Gala is absolutely packed with fantastic looks, luxurious ensembles, and a whole lot of stars. Despite all the commotion, it’s no surprise that Doja Cat and her stunning choice of style is one of the most talked-about fits of the evening. Moreover, the “Freaky Deeky” rapper showed up in cat makeup and a sparkly white dress complete with cat ears, fully embracing her name. Specifically, he rocked a nearly all-black fit with a leather jacket, slick pants, dress shoes, and an MLB hat to boot. Furthermore, he complimented the look with a white sweater and an orange-white Chanel fabric around his waist, which could be a bandana as much as it could be a handkerchief.

In fact, perhaps this environment of luxury and beauty is more fitting for the Compton legend than many might believe. After all, the 35-year-old recently wrapped up the highest-grossing rap tour of all time, beating out names like Kanye West, Jay-Z, Drake, and Travis Scott. Ice Spice’s Debut Met Gala Look Is Giving “Princess Diana”

The Met Gala has barely begun, but already, we’re seeing what may be some of the evening’s most impressive looks. Co-chair Michaela Coel absolutely stunned in a golden Schiaparelli gown. Elsewhere, La La Anthony undeniably gave major goddess in her white gown. A fresher face who we’re excited to see make their debut at the event today (May 1) is Ice Spice, who was specially selected as Anna Wintour’s guest for the evening.

The 23-year-old worked with designers at Balmain for her gown, which came with a train that looks almost as long as another of the rap diva. It’s a relatively simple white piece, with flirtatious, sheer panels of fabric running along either side of her body. The elegant yet statement-making piece feels fitting following the arrival of her “Princess Diana (Remix)” with Nicki Minaj. If anyone deserves the title of the people’s princess in 2023, it’s obviously Ice Spice – especially in this dress.

Rather than wearing her hair in the famous red curls we’ve come to love, the “Bikini Bottom” hitmaker opted for a sleek, straight look with side-swept bangs. Fans were quick to notice that she’s not carrying a purse in hand for once, as she frequently does in her photos. Instead, she’s got a bedazzled camera, perhaps for capturing memories from her first time inside the Met Gala on film to cherish (and hopefully share on Instagram).

After sauntering down the carpet and sitting pretty for plenty of photos, the rising star briefly spoke with La La Anthony. “I’m just so grateful,” she gushed of her experience so far. “I was really nervous, like, approaching the carpet. The 2023 Met Gala red carpet is underway, and as usual, the annual event’s guestlist boasts a who’s-who of the music world. Recording artists who’ve attended in the past include Billie Eilish, who joked last year that her favorite part of attending is “judging” everyone’s looks, Cardi B, who often steals the show, even when she isn’t even trying to, Phoebe Bridger, whose 2022 look dropped jaws, even if it wasn’t what fans thought, Nicki Minaj, and Lizzo, who played a one-of-a-kind, $55,000 flute on the red carpet.

This year’s theme is intended to honor the late Karl Lagerfeld, who died in 2019 at the age of 85. Lagerfeld was a vaunted — and controversial — figure in the fashion world, known for guiding the creative directions of fashion houses like Chanel and Fendi and for wearing the kind of collars that would make Joe Pesci’s character in Goodfellas jealous. With fans already looking forward to seeing how their favorite stars choose to interpret the theme and reflecting back on prior looks running the gamut of everything from camp to religious irreverence, excitement on social media is high.

Rihanna’s Met Gala Fitting Involved $25M In Cartier Jewels, Sources Say

The Met Gala has been taking place for decades now. Still, in recent years, a handful of regular attendees have become known as the best-dressed among the rest. Within the group, you’ll find names like Blake Lively (who’s confirmed to be staying home this year), as well as Zendaya. Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and of course, Rihanna are also on the list. The Bad Gal’s first time attending the New York event was way back in 2007. However, her looks from years like 2015 (designed by Guo Pei) and 2018 (from John Galliano) are far more memorable.

Seeing as she skipped out on the 2022 Met Gala, many were unsure if we’d see Rihanna walk the red carpet – especially now that she’s expecting her second child with A$AP Rocky. Thankfully, she confirmed in a very bold way on Saturday (April 28) that we’ll be seeing her. She’ll likely be in Chanel at tonight’s function, which is paying tribute to the late Karl Lagerfeld. At the time, she stepped out for dinner in a vintage look from the French brand’s F/W 1994 collection. It came complete with monogrammed sunglasses and a larger-than-life black and white fuzzy hat.

“Not even Monday,” the 35-year-old wrote in the caption of her latest Instagram post, hinting that her next fashion moment could be even wilder. According to Page Six sources, it may be far more sparkly too. Rihanna is rumoured to have played around with $25 million worth of Cartier jewels during her 3 AM fitting. It remains unclear at this time if she’ll be wearing just the diamonds – which certainly wouldn’t be surprising knowing her sultry style choices – or if they’re simply to accessorize whatever else she’s put together from the archives. Regardless, we’re beyond eager to see how she, and her budding baby bump, look in the coming hours.

Rihanna will certainly be in good company. Both Ice Spice and Kim Kardashian have already made it clear that they’ll be stepping out in their best-dressed too. The latter was seen exploring the city with her eldest daughter, North West, causing some to speculate that the 9-year-old may make her debut along with the “Princess Diana” hitmaker. Lizzo All Smiles As She Attends Pre-Met Gala Dinner

Lizzo is in New York City, and she pulled up to Anna Wintour’s place last night for a pre-Met Gala dinner. The singer was snapped by paparazzi heading into the Vogue editor-in-chief’s home. In the photos, Lizzo is all smiles in a beautiful purple ensemble. She was flanked by assistants carrying umbrellas to shield her from the torrential downpour that was taking place at the time. It hasn’t been confirmed, but it’s expected that Lizzo will attend the Met Gala once again this year. She filled her fans in on how unglamorous fashion’s biggest night really is, at least to her … first complaining about the “long f***ing line” she had to wait in. She added there was no place to sit, either — saying “B***h? Can we get some chairs or some drinks or some hors d’oeuvres?”

Despite appearing happy and excited, Lizzo may have been mentally preparing herself for the wrath of Anna Wintour. Last May, the “Truth Hurts” singer took to Instagram Live to express her disappointment in the 2022 Met Gala. There, she criticized various aspects such as the alcohol options and photographers. Lizzo was allegedly supposed to perform a flute solo on the red carpet, but she only played part of it. According to her, it was because of paparazzi heckling. Lizzo’s frustrations continued when she finally made it inside, where a waiter informed her that only red or white wine was available, causing her to become even more agitated while searching for tequila.

Lizzo posted some pictures from last night on her Instagram, as well. In the photos, she lounges in a limousine with her beau. Making use of various poses, the singer took advantage of the sexy setting and styling. Purple is definitely Lizzo’s color. The pop star looked positively radiant in her long gown and sunglasses. She captioned the post with the words “icons don’t sleep.”

Fans flooded the comment section on Lizzo’s Instagram post with support and love. “You definitely slaying in this purple mama,” one user said. “Prince would be proud.” More chimed in to point out how good the color looked on her, as well. “That purple on you >>>>>” another said. Others simply thanked Lizzo for being who she was. “You are so beautiful and inspiring!” one fan said. “Thank you for helping with my daughter without even knowing it!” For now, it looks like Lizzo is all smiles about tonight’s Met Gala. Ice Spice Attending Met Gala As Anna Wintour’s Special Guest

Ice Spice is doing it up and doing it big. It was just announced via TMZ that the Bronx rapper will be attending tonight’s Met Gala. Not only that, she will be attending as a special guest of Anna Wintour herself. It is a huge honor for the rapper as many don’t ever get the honor of being a special guest of the person who controls the entire event. TMZ has also reported that the hitmaker will be wearing a custom-designed Balmain look.

Ice is everywhere these days. She is one of the latest viral sensations who is experiencing a huge amount of fame due to TikTok. Last year, she dropped her acclaimed EP, Like..?. Since then, Ice has been hailed as the new princess of rap. She has been praised by contemporaries and even given the co-sign by industry legends like Nicki Minaj. The duo recently released their collaboration, “Princess Diana.” The song was originally part of Ice’s EP, but Nicki hopped on the remix with a killer verse. This catapulted the song to the number 4 spot on the Billboard Hot 100.

Last night, Ice Spice posted a teaser video that hinted she would be attending the Met Gala. “Hi, It’s Ice Spice and I’m partnering with Vogue and eBay for a very special announcement coming to you on the first Monday in May,” Ice says in the video. “Join me for fashion’s biggest night out. You do not want to miss this. Stay tuned.” Fans were quick to point out just how big of a deal it was for someone as new to the scene as Ice to get invited.

“Ice Spice went from being dismissed as a meme and a ‘one hit wonder’ with Munch, but now she has 2 Top 10s and has 3 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 at once, & also being invited to the met gala with NO ALBUM OUT,” one fan tweeted. “As an og fan, proud is an understatement of how i feel right now.” Another said, “Ice Spice isn’t just invited to the met gala my girl is getting SPONSORED by VOGUE.
