Jordan, 32, and Pippen, 48, were spotted cruising on a yacht in Miami Tuesday afternoon. Several friends were on the boat as the couple locked lips with no discretion. TMZ was able to obtain images of the duo. They appear happy, at one point sitting apart from the group and interacting with them in another shot. In recent weeks, the pair has spiced things up, no longer hiding their relationship, despite the blogs posting them frequently.

Pippen has faced scrutiny over the romance with Jordan. The obvious 16-year age difference has come into question. Another point that has come up is Jordan’s famous father, Michael Jordan, once playing with her ex-husband Scottie during their time with the Chicago Bulls. Pippen has maintained that she didn’t know Michael Jordan very well when her ex was in the NBA with him. 

On Monday, Pippen shared an image on Instagram hugging Jordan as he plants a sweet kiss on her head. Their most recent evening out together took place on Saturday (March 18), as they grabbed dinner at Catch Steak in Los Angeles. The couple’s date night follows The Real Housewives of Miami‘s three-part reunion, which reflects back on the Bravo show’s fifth season. Pippen is currently facing considerable backlash online for some of the comments she made. During filming, the Chicago native told Nicole Martin – an anesthesiologist – that she doesn’t have a “real job.” As Buzzfeed notes, Pippen makes her money through OnlyFans, her jewelry line, and appearing on the popular reality series.

One point of contention about their relationship has been their age gap, with Pippen being 16 years older than Jordan. Larsa has downplayed the age difference when asked about it in interviews. Speaking with Tamron Hall, last month, Larsa remarked, “Age doesn’t determine your level of maturity.” When pressed on whether it’s weird dating the son of her ex-husband’s former teammate, Larsa explained, “I didn’t plan it like that. We were just together a lot with our friends. You gotta remember — being with an athlete, you get scrutinized a lot. People don’t think you should have a life once you get divorced. I feel like I should have love and be able to date who I want and live happy and go wherever I wanna go and not be judged every time I’m seen with someone. It’s hard.”

As for whether she and Scottie have discussed the relationship, she said that they’re focused on parenting. “The only conversations we have are based on our kids,” she said. “I don’t ask him who he’s dating, he doesn’t ask me who I’m dating. As long as my kids are happy … my kids love Marcus. We travel together, my kids really enjoy spending time with him. I feel like I’m in a great place and that’s the most important thing.”

The latest post is indicative that Jordan and Pippen’s relationship has progressed rapidly in recent months. They packed on PDA in public settings like Miami Beach, the streets of NYC, and even Rolling Loud in recent months. However, a few months ago, they insisted they were “just friends” and have been for the past few years.

“We’ve been friends for the last couple of years,” she told The New York Post in December. “I’m in a place right now where I’m finally open to dating,” Pippen added. She then explained that the rumors exaggerate the reality of her love life. “So, yeah, I’m just dating right now and focusing on my businesses, my family, and having fun.”

Regardless, many in the comments reacted with flames and hearts, but some came with less enthusiasm. “Am I the only one who finds this kind of of wrong ?? She is messy…no class girl,” one user wrote. Another added, “This is still absurd to me lol,” in line with another comment that read “Daddy’s money. All power to you girl.”

Furthermore, their relationship together prompted reactions from many figures in the NBA and beyond. Former player Jalen Rose spoke their relationship and what he considers off-limits.

“Certain relationships used to be off limits,” he expressed. “And I, on paper, want everybody to be happy and to live their best life. But, the best thing I can say for her is she should see him as more of a nephew than a mate.”

However, a lot of people jumped down their necks before they even confirmed something more serious between them. When Pippen spoke to the New York Post, she still danced around their romance.

Meanwhile, one of many who jumped into the Pippen-Jordan conversation is former NBA star Gilbert Arenas.

After returning to The Real Housewives of Miami, the 48-year-old took plenty of promo ops to discuss her relationship with Marcus.
