He has stated that new music will be on the way eventually, and we can only imagine what he has in store for us. After all, his last couple of albums have been nothing short of amazing.

If you know anything about Pusha T, you should know that he has worked a lot with Pharrell Williams. These days, Pharrell can be found as a lead designer with none other than Louis Vuitton. He has a few fashion shows under his belt, and yesterday, he delivered his Fall/Winter 2024 collection. Overall, it was a momentous occasion, and he was able to get Push to participate. For instance, he has done work with BAPE, Billionaire Boys Club, Adidas, and now, Louis Vuitton. In fact, he is currently the head designer over at Louis V and is taking up where Virgil Abloh left off. He has a few fashion shows under his belt already, and these endeavors have proven to be quite successful.

Yesterday, Pharrell got to host his Louis Vuitton fashion show for the Fall/Winter 2024 season. It was a pretty cool show that even featured the likes of Pusha T. Furthermore, a ton of big celebrities were there, including those from the hip-hop world. The new collection is Cowboy-themed and explores the America Old West. It is a really cool concept, and as you can imagine, it was accompanied by some Pharrell music. For instance, below, you can hear a song with none other than Miley Cyrus.

According to HipHopDX, this is actually a pretty old track. It was meant for the album Bangerz which is an infamous project from Cyrus. However, it seems like it is being repurposed. Perhaps an official release could be coming down the pipeline, sometime in the future. That said, Pharrell also got to show off his new song with Mumford and Sons. This is definitely a collab no one saw coming, but alas. Pharrell has always been eager to try new things, and that trend will continue for years to come.

LeBron James Stars In New Louis Vuitton Campaign

LeBron James is the face of a new Louis Vuitton campaign. The Lakers star appeared in a range of sharp Louis Vuitton outfits in a cityscape setting. “LeBron James lends himself to Pharrell Williams’ debut collection, embodying the audacious energy and trailblazing vision of the Maison’s next menswear chapter,” the fashion house said. Of course, these fits aren’t for everyone, especially considering that the total outfit cost is nearly $14,000.

However, modeling for Pharrell isn’t the only venture that LeBron has been up to. He has also suggested that he wants to start livestreaming his Madden games when he plays against other people. “Thinking of live streaming my @EAMaddenNFL games when I play. . Who should I stream with? Meaning which platform brand ,” LeBron tweeted. Of course, the Lakers star was bombarded with suggestions ranging from Twitch to Rumble to Kick to OnlyFans. Overall, people are very excited to see it happen.

LeBron Blasts NBA Officials For Over Shot Call

However, it’s not all been sharp suits for LeBron. Just before the new year, the veteran went in on NBA officials over a controversial shot call. Trailing 107-104 against Minnesota, LeBron hit what he thought was a game-tying three. However, the bucket was ruled as a two and the Lakers would go on to lose 108-106 after Anthony Edwards drew a game-sealing foul. “What the hell do we got replay for? What do we have replay for if even the replay gets it wrong? It’s just like, who is a part of the replay center? Like, do we got robots in there making Teslas? Like, what’s going on?” LeBron lamented, discussing the NBA’s replay system.

Furthermore, LeBron argued it was an obvious three. “I mean, it’s obvious it’s a 3. My foot was behind the line. You can see the space between the front of my foot and the 3-point line. You can clearly see the wood on the floor, the space in between the front of my foot and the 3-point line. Stevie Wonder can see that, champ,” LeBron continued. However, the floor chief disputed LeBron’s claims after the game. “The play was ruled a 2-point field goal on the floor during live play. After video review, there wasn’t clear and conclusive evidence to overturn it from a 2 to a 3, and that’s why it stood as a 2-point field goal,” Tony Brothers said.

The team got blown out at home to the Milwaukee Bucks, however, it was a fun night regardless.

During the game, French decided to take to social media and flex his outfit. In the video below, you can see that the rapper was showing off his sneakers. The pair in question was the Louis Vuitton x Nike Air Force 1 Low collaboration. Of course, this is a shoe that contains the iconic LV pattern all over an equally iconic shoe. However, as French reveals, he spent a lot of money to get them. More specifically, he spent a whopping $200K, which is truly absurd. For some, that is more than the value of their entire home.

Overall, anything that has to do with Louis Vuitton is going to cost a lot of money. At this point, that is just par for the course. However, $200K for some shoes is still a whole lot of money. That said, considering how rare these are and how valuable they are on the resale market, this kind of makes sense. Whether or not French has any buyer’s remorse, is unknown at this point. However, the fact remains that if you want these shoes, you may just have to take out a business loan.

Pharrell Reflects On What He’s Learned As Louis Vuitton Creative Director

Pharrell recently discussed some of the lessons he’s learned since taking over as creative director at Louis Vuitton. Speaking with GQ, the legendary producer explained the importance of having a great team around you as an artist.

“One of the greatest things that I’ve learned is about really concentrating on how to do something great, and how important it is to have the resources to bring it to life,” Pharrell told the outlet. “Being surrounded by the greatest of the greats, team wise, it just makes all the difference in the world. I mean, you can have good ideas all the time. There’s so many people with great ideas, but when you don’t have the right team around you and the unlimited resources and support, it’s just extremely difficult. I’ve learned that.” Pharrell added: “I don’t know how I got anything done before this. Now I’m used to working with an orchestra of brilliant talent.”

Pharrell also discussed how he felt after his debut fashion show in Paris in June. “I didn’t have any expectations,” he admitted to the outlet. “I just was so caught up in the process, as I am now. I’m just very… I’m not overwhelmed in a negative way, but I am consumed by the creative process and executing and getting things right. That’s so important to me.”

Pharrell joined the fashion house back in February, filling the position left vacant by the death of Virgil Abloh in 2021. He described the offer as a surprise while discussing the gig with GQ for a previous interview in August. Pharrell Previews Swae Lee & Rauw Alejandro Collab At Louis Vuitton Fashion Show

As Louis Vuitton’s creative director, you can expect Pharrell to take good care of the aux at its fashion shows. Moreover, he recently hosted one on Friday night (December 1) to show off his new collection for the brand, and was joined by some special guests. Most notably, Swae Lee– the superstar who formed Rae Sremmurd with his brother– and Rauw Alejandro– the Puerto Rican superstar making waves for his sci-fi-inspired take on reggaetón– had a great time at the show, sitting in the runway’s front row. Not only that, but Skateboard P actually previewed a collaboration between the two.

Furthermore, Pharrell played the unreleased team-up as the models strutted their stuff. Swae Lee and Rauw Alejandro mime-performed their own verses, and then stood up together to dance, sing along, laugh, and show off each other’s fits. It’s unclear whether the “At The Party” producer actually made this beat, which is a cohesive fusion of reggaetón, R&B, and dancehall stylings. We can safely assume he did, not just because of the circumstance of the premiere, but because it’s a pretty awesome groove, too.

Of course, Pharrell has a long and legendary history of collaborating with amazing artists to make timeless music. However, it’s something that he’s pretty humble about when comparing himself to his other producer friends, and we had a wholesome example of that with Timbaland recently. While they attended Swizz Beatz’s birthday dinner together, they debated over who has the better team-up tracks with Jay-Z. Rather than argue for themselves, they argued for each other’s catalog, which is a camaraderie that’s rare to see in today’s competitive environment.

Lil Durk Flexes Louis Vuitton Outfit Worth $40K

Lil Durk’s come a long way from underground drill credibility to hip-hop superstardom, and you can tell by how he carries himself as a figure. Moreover, he is pretty well-known for his style, or at least his affinity for luxury clothing, items, and an overall cash-heavy lifestyle. However, maybe some of the Chicago MC’s fans didn’t expect for him to be the type of person to blow $40K on an outfit. But it’s clear from a recent video that he’ll do anything to get the drip he wants, and definitely knows how to rock it with a lot of confidence. Furthermore, The Voice showed off a head-to-toe Louis Vuitton look that cost him 40 racks, and we can’t blame him for wanting to show it off.

For example, from a pure fashion standpoint, this looks pretty nice: it’s color-coordinated, subtle from afar, but very extravagant upon closer inspection. Lil Durk’s LV overalls and bucket hat are covered in jewels that shine as bright as his many heavy chains. With simple white sneakers and a white T-shirt to top it off, he actually came through with a pretty nice look… even if it’s a bit over-the-top for such an uncomplicated vision. LeBron James Arrives At NBA Opener In $28K Pharrell-Designed Louis Vuitton Outfit

LeBron James was dripped out ahead of the start of his 21st season in the NBA. His pregame outfit was a $28,000 worth of Louis Vuitton, mostly from his good friend Pharrell’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection. According to TMZ, that included a “$5k damoflage tweed chic collarless jacket, $1,250 pants, and $1,220 LV checker derby kicks,” as well as an $11K Speedy Bandouliere 40 and a $9500 briefcase. Anyone wanting to replicate LeBron’s look can do so when the collection goes on presale in December.

He wasn’t the only one rocking a signature look, however. Nuggets star Michael Porter Jr. rolled up in a signed Peyton Manning Broncos jersey. Meanwhile, Peyton Watson was embodying Coach Prime in another show of Colorado love. Elsewhere, sharpshooter Aaron Gordon hit up Ball Arena in a burgundy vest and shorts combo. The NBA heavily marketed the game as a rematch of the Western Conference Finals and as a definitive statement on the power players in the conference this season.

LeBron Scores 21 To Open Season 21, Lakers Fall

However, it wasn’t the season opener the Lakers were hoping for. While LeBron led the team with 21 points, they were soundly beaten by the defending champion Nuggets 119-107. Of particular note was Anthony Davis putting up a goose egg in the second half. This was despite Davis hyping the matchup as a revenge game for the Western Conference Finals earlier this year. Davis had gotten off to a hot start, scoring 17 points in the first half.

Overall, the Lakers once again proved no match for the Western Conference preseason favorites. Nikola Jokić opened the season with a triple-double as three Nuggets starters put up at least 20 points. Beyond LeBron, no Laker put up more than 18 points, leading Denver to extend their win streak against the Lakers to six. Pharrell Speaks On Being Shocked By Louis Vuitton Appointment

Pharrell is currently the lead designer over at Louis Vuitton, which is a huge accomplishment. Of course, he takes over from the likes of Virgil Abloh, who was an absolute legend. From Off-White to Louis Vuitton, Abloh made a massive impact on the fashion world. Overall, he remains a revered designer whose influence will never go away. That said, some were surprised that Pharrell got the job at Louis Vuitton. However, he has been making the most of it and has already come through with his very first collection.

Recently, Pharrell spoke about his role with Louis Vuitton and how he was just as surprised as everyone else about the appointment. He describes a conversation with LV CEO Pietro Beccari who was aggressive in offering him the role. Regardless, he was happy to accept. “It wasn’t an interview or anything,” Pharrell explained. “It was like, ‘Will you accept this position? Will you accept this appointment?’ I’m looking at the water and I’m just like, ‘What?’”

However, Pharrell did not that he was surprised Nigo wasn’t given a chance. “I’ve been championing him for a minute,” Williams revealed. “And whenever me and Alexandre [Arnault] talk about LV, we would always just talk about different people. I’ve always been in the background, just advising. I never thought that it would be me.”
