Lil Woody Pays Tribute To Rich Homie Quan Amid News Of His Passing

The hip-hop world is currently reeling from the sudden, shocking, and still alleged loss of Rich Homie Quan at 34 years old, which remains a mystery at press time. As such, we encourage our readers to take these news items with a grain of salt, as we still have little indication of this story’s veracity, the circumstances behind his alleged death, and more. Regardless, Lil Woody has responded to the rapper’s passing, posting an Instagram Story featuring a picture of RHQ with former frequent collaborator Young Thug. “RIP,” he wrote. “I hate this happen I pray that God protect thug and them from this country.”

Previously, Lil Woody and Rich Homie Quan actually had differing stories about an alleged shooting, something that briefly came up in the ongoing YSL RICO trial. But the former joins a lot of other rappers, media figures, celebrities, and loved ones that are paying tribute to RHQ right now. The Atlanta rapper became one of the city’s most beloved and prolific artists over the past decade-plus, forming part of many iconic hits and moments throughout the 2010s and beyond. His legacy will forever endure.

Lil Woody’s Tribute To Rich Homie Quan

Elsewhere, Lil Woody knows quite well that his social media account is more popular than ever. This was all bolstered by his role in the YSL RICO trial, which means that a lot of people aren’t a fan of this huge spike in engagement. Rich Homie Quan Calls Lil Woody A Liar When Asked About Infamous Barbershop Shooting

Rich Homie Quan and Young Thug used to be the best of friends back in the day. Overall, the two had some incredible collaborations, and fans were consistently tuning in to what they had to offer. Unfortunately, they eventually had a bit of a falling out. This subsequently left fans disappointed all while wondering what could have been. Meanwhile, Rich Homie Quan has been implicated in the YSL Rico trial, and at one point, was even on the witness list.

Yesterday, Rich Homie Quan was brought up in court. In fact, this led to a hilarious moment in which the prosecution asked Lil Woody a question about RHQ, which subsequently led to him repeating that question in Thug’s direction. Thugger couldn’t help but laugh and his lawyer Brian Steele also let out a hearty chuckle. Meanwhile, Akademiks posted an interview in which RHQ was asked about Woody’s alleged involvement in an Atlanta barbershop shooting that injured his father. The incident was even rapped about on the song “Daddy.”

Rich Homie Quan Speaks His Peace

As you can see in the clip above, Rich Homie Quan seemed pretty annoyed by the question. While he didn’t want to get into the nitty-gritty details, he claimed that Woody is a liar and is stretching the truth. Quan believes the YSL witness is exaggerating what went down and that the barbershop wasn’t even in operation when the shooting occurred. Today, the YSL Rico trial will continue. Lil Woody has been on the stand for weeks, and not much progress has been made, if any at all.

Let us know how you feel about these comments from RHQ, down below. Have you been keeping up to the date on the YSL Rico trial? Lil Woody Claims Prosecutors Almost Got On Their Knees To Get Him To Testify

Lil Woody says that prosecutors were ready to get on their knees in an effort to beg him to testify. He made the comments in jail calls that were played for the jury in court on Wednesday as Woody continues to testify in the ongoing YSL RICO case. When Young Thug’s attorney Brian Steel asked who specifically he was referring to, Woody remarked, “Ms. Love.” He appeared to be referencing Assistant Chief District Attorney Adriane Love. A clip of the moment is going viral on social media.

“I just wonder who is going to play Steel in the movie,” one fan on X (formerly Twitter) wrote in response. Another added: “Wait them grabbing him when he posta be in court ain’t that messing with his due process??” One more defended Woody: “This is fabulous, but I’m worried about Woody being targeted in a big way by Love at this point. You know she’s plotting.”

YSL RICO Trial: Lil Woody Tries To Get Young Thug’s Lawyer To Say The N-Word

Lil Woody seemingly tried to bait Young Thug’s lawyer, Brian Steel, into saying the n-word while testifying during the YSL RICO trial on Tuesday. While Steel was reading a quote to Woody, he asked him for clarification on what he meant by “N.” Steel began to spell the word in an attempt to explain but stopped short of laying the entire spelling.

In response to the clip going viral on social media, fans have been having plenty of laughs. “Steel’s too honorable to even spell it [laughing emojis] hesitated on that second g, didn’t even get to the a,” one user remarked. Others joked they wouldn’t have a problem with Steel if he had fallen for it. “I’m gonna go on a limb and say Thug has given Brian a pass AND he’s invited to all the cook outs til the end of time,” one fan wrote. Another agreed: “The Day he took his tie and jacket off and asked if he could do his 20 days in a cell with his client, is the day I would have given him a pass.”

The viral moment is just one of many Woody has had during his time on the stand. Earlier this month, he caused a stir by admitting his previous comments on Thug from 2015 were entirely made up. “The police kept locking me up for whatever they could,” he said. “Every time I counted the door, the police was on me, and they keep bringing up Thug’s name. So what I did was to get ’em out off me, I said, ‘Thug did this. Thug did that. Thug,’ because I knew they were—I knew he didn’t do it.”

J Prince Goes After Lil Woody & YSL Prosecutor In Scathing IG Post

J Prince called out Fulton County Deputy District Attorney Simone Hylton as well as Lil Woody while sharing a clip from the YSL RICO trial on Instagram on Monday night. In the video, Hylton asked Woody whether he recalled comparing Young Thug to J Prince. The witness claimed he didn’t know who that actually was and brought up his previous admission about lying to police about the rapper back in 2015. “I told you for the 10th time,” he stated, as caught by AllHipHop. “I’m gonna tell the police anything, and that’s what I did.”

“Nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to fake-ass people putting my name in their mouth,” Prince captioned his post. “But I still find it very interesting how some prosecutors will go above and beyond the call of duty to try and destroy a man’s life for being inspired by a successful Black entrepreneur like myself. Btw, Black-on-Black racism feels the worst.” He concluded with the hashtag, “#FreeYoungThug.”

Lil Woody Goes Viral For Asking Judge If He Can Show Up Late To Court

Lil Woody has been one of the largest elements to the YSL Rico trial so far. Overall, the case has had recusals, alleged tampering, and all sorts of twists and turns. At the center of it all is Young Thug, who is facing serious prison time if convicted. However, Woody has proven to be a bit of a wild card in all of this. He is the star witness who is supposed to provide the prosecution with testimony that could sink Thug’s chances of winning. That said, the witness has also been uncooperative, and that is to put it mildly.

Every single day, Lil Woody appears to go viral for his antics during the trial. There are days where he is simply cracking jokes, or others where he will speak for a little bit and then completely change the subject as to delay the process. Yesterday, Woody went viral yet again, this time for his question to the judge about Friday’s proceedings. Woody was told he had to come to the courthouse for 9 AM. However, he ended up asking the judge if he could come for 10 instead.

Lil Woody Continues To Make Waves

Clearly, 9 AM was simply a bit too early for Woody in this case. It was yet another example of how he may not be taking this all that seriously. As for the judge, she had a bit of a laugh at the question, although she did tell him that he was to report to the court at 9 AM, no ifs, ands, or buts. For now, it remains to be seen how Friday will go. All we do know is that a lot of people just want Thugger to be free, and they want that to happen sooner rather than later.

Let us know what you think about the trial so far, in the comments section down below. Do you believe that Lil Woody is just playing with the court at this point? What do you think will be the final conclusion to his testimony? Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the music world. Lil Woody Almost Breaks Character Due To Shocking Question At Young Thug Trial

Lil Woody’s testimony during the Young Thug trial has been an absolute firestorm, and that’s not counting the six-month suspension that his lawyer received. However, there have also been some cracks through the system, and a recent court interaction has many fans thinking that he almost broke character and spilled some more tea about an incident that he forgot about and might still feel a type of way over. The court asked Woody about a situation that happened when a group of men jumped him, and while he initially said that he didn’t recall what he specifically told detectives, he eventually said that “They time gon’ come,” suggesting that something did happen and that he’s still hurt by it.

Of course, this is all incredibly understandable, and to say that this is Lil Woody “breaking character” misrepresents what he agreed to do for this trial. But there are many conflicting aspects to his state’s witness role, as he recently claimed to have lied to police about Young Thug’s alleged crimes in order to stay out of trouble and get the cops off his back.

In addition, prosecutors treated Lil Woody as a “hostile witness” after an explosive rant against the state for pressuring him during this Young Thug and YSL case. “Like I told you before y’all called me to trial, I have lied,” he initially expressed, with his subsequent disparaging comments against a detective being what made him “hostile” in the eyes of the prosecution. “I made things up, I told you this before y’all brought me in this courtroom, and I’m telling you now. You asked me about 2015. I had got my life together.

“Y’all are trying to put this on my conscience, y’all are trying to put people’s lives in my hands,” Lil Woody continued in the Young Thug trial. “I don’t want to lie on people, I don’t want to be here, y’all have pressured me. I’m tired of y’all ’cause y’all know y’all wrong, and y’all Black people doing this to us. Leave me alone, let me leave. Man, y’all pissing me off. Listen, I don’t recall nothing I said to no police, stop asking me these questions. I’m telling you I don’t recall. That’s what you want me to say?”
