J Prince Goes After Lil Woody & YSL Prosecutor In Scathing IG Post

J Prince called out Fulton County Deputy District Attorney Simone Hylton as well as Lil Woody while sharing a clip from the YSL RICO trial on Instagram on Monday night. In the video, Hylton asked Woody whether he recalled comparing Young Thug to J Prince. The witness claimed he didn’t know who that actually was and brought up his previous admission about lying to police about the rapper back in 2015. “I told you for the 10th time,” he stated, as caught by AllHipHop. “I’m gonna tell the police anything, and that’s what I did.”

“Nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to fake-ass people putting my name in their mouth,” Prince captioned his post. “But I still find it very interesting how some prosecutors will go above and beyond the call of duty to try and destroy a man’s life for being inspired by a successful Black entrepreneur like myself. Btw, Black-on-Black racism feels the worst.” He concluded with the hashtag, “#FreeYoungThug.”

As for Woody’s remarks about lying, he made the admission previously during another day on the stand. “The police kept locking me up for whatever they could,” he said. “Every time I counted the door, the police was on me, and they keep bringing up Thug’s name. So what I did was to get ’em out off me, I said, ‘Thug did this. Thug did that. Thug,’ because I knew they were—I knew he didn’t do it.”

Lil Woody Goes Viral For Asking Judge If He Can Show Up Late To Court

Lil Woody has been one of the largest elements to the YSL Rico trial so far. Overall, the case has had recusals, alleged tampering, and all sorts of twists and turns. At the center of it all is Young Thug, who is facing serious prison time if convicted. However, Woody has proven to be a bit of a wild card in all of this. He is the star witness who is supposed to provide the prosecution with testimony that could sink Thug’s chances of winning. That said, the witness has also been uncooperative, and that is to put it mildly.

Every single day, Lil Woody appears to go viral for his antics during the trial. There are days where he is simply cracking jokes, or others where he will speak for a little bit and then completely change the subject as to delay the process. Yesterday, Woody went viral yet again, this time for his question to the judge about Friday’s proceedings. Woody was told he had to come to the courthouse for 9 AM. However, he ended up asking the judge if he could come for 10 instead.

Clearly, 9 AM was simply a bit too early for Woody in this case. It was yet another example of how he may not be taking this all that seriously. As for the judge, she had a bit of a laugh at the question, although she did tell him that he was to report to the court at 9 AM, no ifs, ands, or buts. For now, it remains to be seen how Friday will go. All we do know is that a lot of people just want Thugger to be free, and they want that to happen sooner rather than later.

Lil Woody Almost Breaks Character Due To Shocking Question At Young Thug Trial

Lil Woody’s testimony during the Young Thug trial has been an absolute firestorm, and that’s not counting the six-month suspension that his lawyer received. However, there have also been some cracks through the system, and a recent court interaction has many fans thinking that he almost broke character and spilled some more tea about an incident that he forgot about and might still feel a type of way over. The court asked Woody about a situation that happened when a group of men jumped him, and while he initially said that he didn’t recall what he specifically told detectives, he eventually said that “They time gon’ come,” suggesting that something did happen and that he’s still hurt by it.

Of course, this is all incredibly understandable, and to say that this is Lil Woody “breaking character” misrepresents what he agreed to do for this trial. But there are many conflicting aspects to his state’s witness role, as he recently claimed to have lied to police about Young Thug’s alleged crimes in order to stay out of trouble and get the cops off his back.

In addition, prosecutors treated Lil Woody as a “hostile witness” after an explosive rant against the state for pressuring him during this Young Thug and YSL case. “Like I told you before y’all called me to trial, I have lied,” he initially expressed, with his subsequent disparaging comments against a detective being what made him “hostile” in the eyes of the prosecution. “I made things up, I told you this before y’all brought me in this courtroom, and I’m telling you now. You asked me about 2015. I had got my life together.

“Y’all are trying to put this on my conscience, y’all are trying to put people’s lives in my hands,” Lil Woody continued in the Young Thug trial. “I don’t want to lie on people, I don’t want to be here, y’all have pressured me. I’m tired of y’all ’cause y’all know y’all wrong, and y’all Black people doing this to us. Leave me alone, let me leave. Man, y’all pissing me off. Listen, I don’t recall nothing I said to no police, stop asking me these questions. I’m telling you I don’t recall. That’s what you want me to say?”

Lil Woody’s Lawyer Hit With 6-Month Suspension Amid YSL Case

The Supreme Court of Georgia has issued a six-month suspension for Lil Woody’s attorney, Jonathan R. Melnick, for conduct unrelated to the YSL RICO trial. He allegedly failed to notify a client of an important court proceeding in a child support case. The decision was announced in an opinion published on August 13th.

“Having carefully reviewed the record and the parties’ contentions, we determine that a suspension is appropriate given that Melnick’s misconduct was willful rather than negligent and harmed his client and the fact that he has received three prior disciplinary sanctions for similar conduct. See ABA Standards 4.42 (a) and 8.2, Bar Rule 4-103,” the court wrote. “We further determine that the mitigating factors do not outweigh the aggravating factors. Thus, based on the particular facts of this case and this Court’s prior precedent in similar cases, we conclude that a six-month suspension is the appropriate sanction for Melnick’s violations of Rules 1.3 and 1.4.”

The opinion concludes: “Accordingly, it is hereby ordered that Jonathan R. Melnick is suspended from the practice of law in Georgia for six months. Lil Woody just launched a scathing rant against the prosecution while taking the stand during Young Thug and YSL’s RICO trial. Moreover, he accused them of trying to exploit him as the state’s witness, pressuring him to give them what they want in the case, asking old questions about old statements without properly representing them, and not allowing him to make his peace with the matter. In addition, Woody also explained why he spoke on Thugger in the first place and claimed that he lied about everything he told police back in 2015 about the rapper’s alleged crimes in order to get them off his back and avoid trouble.

“I don’t recall nothing that happened years ago,” Lil Woody said during his court appearance in Young Thug’s trial. “I just know that every time the police were after me and trying to get me, they kept bringing his name up. Whatever y’all want me to say, I’ma say it. That’s why they kept coming after me because they felt like they could make a case after him. And y’all wrong because y’all know that I’m full of s**t. Furthermore, the prosecution continued to ask Lil Woody about the 2015 details of Young Thug’s alleged crimes. Despite his inability or refusal to recall these statements, his current stance contradicts his supposed years-ago assurances that he understood he was snitching and the allegedly verifiable facts that authorities were able to gain from their conversations. At press time, Woody’s time on the stand hasn’t finished in this first trial day back after weeks of recess.

Meanwhile, Lil Woody has a choice now: testify and fall back in line with his 2015 confessions, or go back to jail. From what these new updates indicate, it’s still very much up in the air, and the prosecution has a headache to deal with moving forward. Amid all this, there still hasn’t been much actual case development when it comes to identifying whether Young Thug or his co-defendants are guilty. He appeared as a special guest and, in a viral clip spreading around social media right now, had the ladies go through a bizarre “tryout” process. Moreover, Woody walked up to each of the girls and smelled them to see if they were worth his time, with him immediately dismissing the first girl that he sniffed.

Of course, this is a pretty funny and absurd antic on impact, but some folks found it particularly strange and boundary-violating. “They letting this gremlin disrespect them for clout and money smh,” one concerned user expressed on Twitter. It’s not the only wild online antic that YSL Woody got into as of late, though, even if this recent example isn’t his fault. A fan who stalked his IG Stories recently confronted him in person, and it’s clear that he’s dealing with a lot of celebrity right now that is as volatile as it is prolific.

This seemingly never-ending case appears to rarely progress as it is, so seeing one of Thugger’s affiliates is just another thing keeping the final decision further out of reach. Fans of the So Much Fun rapper have not been a fan of this guy since his decision to plead the Fifth Amendment to prevent testifying against Young Thug and from self-incrimination.

That happened in early June and because of that, he has a massive target on him. People online have been trolling and coming at him, especially after one of his affiliates was killed at the end of last month. 1090 Jake Theorizes On Why Young Thug Might Not Have Paid For YSL Woody’s Lawyer

1090 Jake has a lot to say about Young Thug and YSL’s ongoing RICO trial, especially as some internal conflict seems to affect the case. Moreover, during a recent interview with DJ Vlad on VladTV, he theorized on why he thinks Thugger isn’t paying for YSL Woody’s lawyer. Vlad brought up his alleged conversation with Gunna’s lawyer, who is currently representing Donald Trump, concerning the difficulties of pleading the Fifth as a result of possible federal indictments. Jake claimed that Woody acted in an ill-informed and perhaps manipulated way in court, since he fired his public defense lawyer during proceedings.

Furthermore, 1090 Jake suggested that Young Thug might not have the authorization to pay for counsel for crucial codefendants like Woody, as they could possibly testify against him in court. Vlad chimed in to counter with defendants being able to choose their payment sources, but Jake maintained that it might not work out in Thug’s to fund a legal team that might eventually move against him. Both individuals, despite their different perspectives on this specific matter, called this case a “circus” and think that appeals and mistrial rulings will come soon. For those unaware, Unfoonk pleaded guilty to certain charges last year, resulting in a 12-year sentence with ten of those being on probation. This caused much controversy around potential snitching accusations, so fans want answers as quick and as clearly as they can get them.

Meanwhile, it looks like Judge Glanville is here to stay. He did not approve of motions to recuse him from the trial, and it seems like he’s committed to continuing the legal process and seeing it through himself.
