Beyoncé has partnered with Levi’s in a new campaign titled “REIIMAGINE”, marking her latest creative venture with the iconic denim brand. Known for her inventive approach to art and culture, the Houston-born superstar will appear in a “series of chapters” aimed at reinventing some of Levi’s most memorable ads.

The first visual in the campaign, “Launderette”, is a modern twist on Levi’s classic 1985 commercial of the same name, which famously featured Marvin Gaye’s “I Heard It Through the Grapevine.” The original ad’s revival in this campaign honors its impact, which helped Gaye’s track re-enter the Billboard charts nearly two decades after its initial release.

This collaboration draws from Beyoncé’s history with the brand, recalling her “Levii’s Jeans” lyrics on Cowboy Carter, and showcases her continued influence across fashion and music.

“REIIMAGINE” highlights Bey’s visionary storytelling, seamlessly blending nostalgia with fresh, forward-thinking concepts. Fans can expect more inventive chapters as the campaign rolls out, celebrating Levi’s legacy while cementing Beyoncé’s place as a cultural icon.

Beyonce Shows Off Her Curves For Underwear-Clad Levi’s Jeans Campaign

Beyonce is following up a whiskey brand launch with even more brand collaborations to spread COWBOY CARTER across pop culture. This time around, it’s a Levi’s partnership in the form of a commercial that recreates one of the iconic denim company’s most well-known advertisements. Apparently, this is the first of various promo videos they will work together on. In this one, she takes inspiration from a 1985 ad in which a male model takes his jeans off and stone-washes them with rocks at a laundromat. Queen Bey swaps the rocks out for diamonds in this one and bares her underwear as onlookers’ jaws hit the floor.

However, even without all these extracurriculars, a lot of fans expressed disappointment recently over how Beyoncé didn’t get her due flowers for COWBOY CARTER. For example, the People’s Choice Country Awards did not give her any awards despite her 17 nominations, and many felt that the people missed the mark with this one. Regardless of whether you think the album became overrated or not, its success and impact could’ve merited at least one accolade. Alas, that certainly hasn’t slowed the Texas native down.

Back to this Levi’s jeans ad, though, Beyoncé’s “LEVII’S JEANS” with Post Malone soundtracked it to no one’s surprise. “My song ‘LEVII’S JEANS’ celebrates what I believe is the ultimate Americana uniform – something we all wear with pride,” she expressed via a press release. “I am honored to work with Levi’s® to create quintessential American iconography. Denim on denim has often been seen through a male lens, so this reimagining campaign, which celebrates the iconic female perspective, is important to me. I look forward to exploring innovative ways for our visions to align in empowering women and honoring their strength.”

Meanwhile, Levi’s stated that this Beyonce partnership will hopefully. “connect with our fans in new ways and supporting the growth of our women’s business as the definitive denim lifestyle brand.” She still faces some controversy and backlash here and there as a massive star, but there’s no denying that anything with her name on it has a big chance to captivate and resonate.

Beyoncé Strips Down To Her Underwear In A Recreation Of A Famous Commercial For Levi’s

One of the highlights on Beyoncé‘s Cowboy Carter album is her collaboration with Post Malone, “Levii’s Jeans,” in which she tells a lover that she’ll let them be in her Levi’s jeans, “so you can hug that ass all day long.” They say any press is good press, but this was great press for Levi’s, which has now enlisted Beyoncé for a new commercial that’s actually a re-creation of an old ad.

In “Launderette,” Beyoncé walks into a laundromat, takes off her jeans, and takes a seat in a white top and white underwear while waiting for the cycle to finish. It’s a nod to the famous “Launderette” ad from 1985, which was set to “I Heard It Through The Grapevine” by Marvin Gaye; the new one, as you might expect, is soundtracked by “Levii’s Jeans.”

AdWeek reports that the campaign was “brought to life by Levi’s agency of record TBWA/Chait/Day LA and Emmy Award-winning cinematographer Marcell Rév, who has already worked with Queen Bey as well as other artists including Miley Cyrus.” The Beyonce/Levi’s campaign will be targeted to major cities around the globe, including San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Paris, London, Berlin, and, of course, Houston.

Among the highlights on Beyoncé’s hit album Cowboy Carter is the Post Malone collaboration “Levii’s Jeans.” Not long after the track’s release, denim company Levi’s had a significant stock jump, so much so that Levi Strauss CEO Michelle Gass said the following: “I would just say that denim is having a moment and the Levi’s brand is having a powerful moment around the world. One of the things that really is significant about the Levi’s brand and we place a lot of emphasis and investment is making sure that Levi’s brand remains in the center of culture. And I don’t think there’s any better evidence or proof point than having someone like Beyoncé, who is a culture shaper, to actually name a song after us.”

Well, it appears Gass figured it wouldn’t be a bad idea to formally get into the Beyoncé business.

On Instagram today (September 23), Levi’s shared an illustration of Beyoncé riding a horse in silhouette. (They tagged Beyoncé in the post, so that’s how we know for sure it’s her.) The post is captioned, “INTRODUCING: A New Chapter.” Furthermore, the Levi’s Instagram now features a highlight titled “Levii’s.”

It’s not currently clear what’s going on here, as the aforementioned is so far all the publicly available information about the situation.
