LeBron James’ Family Trolls Him With Perfect Impressions: Watch

LeBron James’ family went all-in on the NBA star, showing off some impressive impressions of him during the shooting of a recent Beats commercial. Bronny’s was by far the most honed, getting down his father’s voice perfectly. Acting like he was at an interview, Bronny nailed his father’s slightly distant tone and ridiculous work-first mentality. Meanwhile, Bryce did a pretty great job of copying his father’s classic big stretch and loud yawn. However, it wasn’t just limited to his sons. His wife Savannah showed off her interpretation of LeBron’s on-court backpedaling. Meanwhile, Zhuri honed her take on her father’s on-court mannerisms.

The video comes as the James family starred in a commercial alongside Manchester City star Erling Haaland. The crux of the ad is the families of LeBron and Haaland leaving voicemails for the sports stars. Of particular note is what Savannah says in her message to her husband. “Tell them you’re not done until you play with your son. And then do that again,” Savannah said, implying almost another half-decade in the NBA for LeBron. That would be the case in order to play with Bronny (2024 Draft Class) and Bryce (2026 Draft Class).

LeBron Leads Comeback Victory

However, he may be 21 years into his NBA career but that doesn’t seem to be slowing LeBron down. LeBron blew past his 30-minute playing time guideline as he put on a masterclass to save the Lakers from a 0-2 start to the season. James played the entire fourth quarter against the Suns, when his minutes limit suggested he should only play about half the frame. In that time, LeBron scored 10 points, helping eliminate a 12-point Suns lead and pushing the Lakers to a 100-95 victory.

“He [head coach Darvin Ham] asked me if I could go the quarter, and I looked at the time and the score and what was going on in the game, and it was an easy answer for myself. I know how much work I’ve put in to be able to play quarters or whatever the case may be. And I understand that we definitely have a system put in place, but tonight called for me to go outside the box.”” LeBron said after the game. The veteran star, now two games into his 21st season, finished with 21 points, 8 rebounds, and 9 assists. Anthony Davis, who was roasted for his performance against Denver in the season opener, had a 30-point double-double against Phoenix.

Lil Wayne Shares Story About The First Time He Met LeBron James

Ahead of the start of the NBA season, Lil Wayne shared the story of the first time he met LeBron. “I had a show in Ohio. Slim, Birdman’s older brother, called me he was like, ‘I got a player out there in Ohio. He want to come to your show. He gon’ be the one. I’m telling you Wayne, he’s a young Michael Jordan. When I got downstairs, that man was still downstairs in a suburban. He had like three or four homies with him. What I remember was his arm was in a cast and they was protecting that and protecting that as in being seen. That’s what told me oh he must be somebody. I’ll never forget he had the time of his life. He remember that night, I remember that night. It was an unforgettable time.”

Furthermore, earlier this year, Wayne noted that he now considered him above Michael Jordan in the GOAT debate. “I don’t know Bron personally. My answer for Bron is on the court. I know for a fact I loved Jordan for the way he always won. I got old enough to know how hard it is to fucking do it back-to-back-to-back. So that’s where he got his respect with me to and started getting his respect with me to where he’s the greatest. It’s very hard to do, and that n-gga Bron did that shit with three different teams. That’s right there, that’s when regardless he ain’t got six, but he done it with three different teams. And not on one of those muthafuckin’ teams did he play role two. That right there is what tipped him over the Jordan scale for me.”

20-plus years later and LeBron is still going as hard as he ever did. Travis Hunter And Shedeur Sanders Freak Out As LeBron James Comes Over To Speak With Them

LeBron James left college stars Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter as he went out of his way to talk with them at the Lakers’ NBA opener. Hunter and Sanders were there alongside their head coach Deion Sanders in Denver for Nuggets-Lakers. After the game, LeBron sought out the two players and told them how much he loved their game. Hunter was seen screaming and holding onto his quarterback’s shirt after LeBron moved on. Meanwhile, Sanders asked if he could have LeBron’s jersey.

Sanders and Hunter are two of the biggest pieces in Coach Prime’s complex Colorado jigsaw. Sanders is 4th in yards (2420), 3rd in touchdowns (21), and 9th in completion percentage (72.3%). He has often been the line between victory and defeat as the Buffaloes continue to move further and further away from their 1-11 2022 campaign. Meanwhile, Hunter is the first true two-way star in years and despite only being a freshman, is already catching the eye of many NFL scouts.

Deion Sanders Approves Of SNL Impression

However, an appearance at NBA opening night isn’t the only reason that the Sanders family is in the news. Deion Sanders recently gave his verdict on a recent impression Kenan Thompson did of him on SNL. “I’m a fan of Kenan, let’s get that straight. I love what he’s brought to comedy. I had the pleasure and honor to host Saturday Night Live before and I’ll never forget those moments,” Sanders said of the skit at his press availability this week. Thompson brought Coach Prime to life in a Weekend Update segment that poked fun at Sanders’ larger-than-life personality. As for Sanders’ SNL hosting gig, that came in February 1995, a couple weeks after he won Super Bowl 30 with the Niners.

Sanders and the Buffs are back in action this weekend following their bye week. The 4-3 Buffs take on #23 5-2 UCLA, who have traded wins and losses for their last four games. The Bruins enter coming off a big 42-7 win over Stanford, a team that stunned Colorado two weeks ago. With five games and three ranked opponents left, every game is a must-win for Colorado if they want to stand a chance of playing in bowl season this year.

LeBron James Arrives At NBA Opener In $28K Pharrell-Designed Louis Vuitton Outfit

LeBron James was dripped out ahead of the start of his 21st season in the NBA. His pregame outfit was a $28,000 worth of Louis Vuitton, mostly from his good friend Pharrell’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection. According to TMZ, that included a “$5k damoflage tweed chic collarless jacket, $1,250 pants, and $1,220 LV checker derby kicks,” as well as an $11K Speedy Bandouliere 40 and a $9500 briefcase. Anyone wanting to replicate LeBron’s look can do so when the collection goes on presale in December.

He wasn’t the only one rocking a signature look, however. Nuggets star Michael Porter Jr. rolled up in a signed Peyton Manning Broncos jersey. Meanwhile, Peyton Watson was embodying Coach Prime in another show of Colorado love. Elsewhere, sharpshooter Aaron Gordon hit up Ball Arena in a burgundy vest and shorts combo. The NBA heavily marketed the game as a rematch of the Western Conference Finals and as a definitive statement on the power players in the conference this season.

LeBron Scores 21 To Open Season 21, Lakers Fall

However, it wasn’t the season opener the Lakers were hoping for. While LeBron led the team with 21 points, they were soundly beaten by the defending champion Nuggets 119-107. Of particular note was Anthony Davis putting up a goose egg in the second half. This was despite Davis hyping the matchup as a revenge game for the Western Conference Finals earlier this year. Davis had gotten off to a hot start, scoring 17 points in the first half.

Overall, the Lakers once again proved no match for the Western Conference preseason favorites. Nikola Jokić opened the season with a triple-double as three Nuggets starters put up at least 20 points. Beyond LeBron, no Laker put up more than 18 points, leading Denver to extend their win streak against the Lakers to six. The Suns are up next for the Lakers, with Phoenix coming off a win against the Warriors. How do you think the conference is going play out this season? Let us know in the comments.

Keke Palmer Tells LeBron James Of How She Learned Who He Was

Keke Palmer was the most recent guest on The Shop: Uninterrupted, hosted by LeBron James and Maverick Carter. The interview series always yields some very interesting conversations with celebrities from every corner of pop culture, as well as athletes of many different sports. This time was no different, as Keke proved to be an entertaining, compelling, and also hilarious addition to the group dynamic. Moreover, she recalled how she first learned who LeBron was, and he had a pretty surprised reaction to her years-old anecdote. It’s wild to think that people didn’t always praise the NBA legend, but stars have to start somewhere.

“When my little brother was a kid,” Keke Palmer began her story to LeBron James, which made him burst out with laughter as she went on. “I mean, I don’t even know why. This is the first time that I had heard about you. He was like maybe two, three, he was really little. We’d be playing games and stuff like that. You know you have a new name every time you play a game? He’d be like, ‘My name LeBron.’ I’m like, ‘The hell is LeBron?’ Every game we play, he like, ‘Call me LeBron.’ I’m like, ‘Who the hell is LeBron?’ That was my introduction to you. I’m like, ‘Oh, okay, that’s why he wants to be LeBron.’ It was so funny, man!”

“Shout out lil’ bro, shout out bro,” LeBron James replied after his laughter died down a little bit. Elsewhere in their conversation, they spoke on a lot of other issues of fame, relationships, social media, and a whole lot more. Considering the drama cycle that Keke Palmer found herself in the middle of this year, every conversation around topics like these has a pretty interesting context. Her relationship with Darius Jackson, which is pretty up in the air right now, was the source of a lot of debate online about jealousy, motherhood, dress codes, and relationship agency.

Meanwhile, how did you first hear about the Cleveland Cavalier? Are you an old-school fan or is this article teaching you something new? However you may feel, let us know in the comments down below. Also, check back in with HNHH for the latest news and updates on Keke Palmer and LeBron James.

LeBron James Has Perfect Reaction To Learning He’s The Oldest Player In The NBA

LeBron James will turn 39 a few months into his 21st NBA season. Not only does that make him just the seventh player to reach his 21st season, it also makes him the oldest active player in the league. LeBron being LeBron, he had the perfect reaction when told the news this week. After being asked for his reaction to being the oldest player in the league at a Lakers practice, LeBron briefly screamed before sprinting down the court and smoothly dunking.

Furthermore, James isn’t treating this like his final year. He will most likely join Vince Carter as the only players to play 22 seasons thanks to his desire to play at least one season with his son Bronny. With Bronny eligible for the 2024 draft, LeBron will likely hit that historic milestone. However, the question will be if it happens with the Lakers or elsewhere in the NBA.

LeBron Training “Like A Rookie”

Additionally, you’d think that 20 seasons of basketball may take the edge off a person. Not LeBron though. “It’s staggering for a player who has 20 years under the hood already and is preparing for 21 like he’s a rookie. He’s been doing 6 a.m. workouts. Probably been in our building as much as any player this offseason. Been in the weight room as much as any player. Any team LeBron’s played for, it’s been pretty uniform that his work sets the tone. There has been nothing but an increase in seeing that here. To me, it’s let’s be about it, let’s not talk about it. He’s definitely been about it this offseason,” Lakers GM Rob Pelinka told reporters in September.

Despite this, the Lakers will be looking for ways to lighten LeBron’s load this season. He turns 39 in December and has missed 111 games over the past five seasons. However, load management has been a harder task thanks to new rules about resting star players that come into effect this season. Head coach Darvin Ham said that LeBron’s load management is a “big picture” issue and will be adjusted “month to month” based on “different sections of the calendar”.

LeBron James Speaks On His Relentless Mindset Ahead Of 21st NBA Season

LeBron James is entering his 21st season in the NBA, making him just the sixth player to reach that mark. Despite speculation that retirement was at least on the table this offseason, LeBron made it clear that he’s not going anywhere, at least for the time being. One of the living legend’s greatest strengths is his mental resilience. No matter what goes down on the court, LeBron is never one to give up. He spoke on this very subject in a new video shot during a workout session at the Lakers’ facility.

“Don’t mean nothing. Tired is only in the mind. You tell yourself you’re tired, you’re gonna be tired. I don’t get tired,” LeBron stated while working out with a large medicine ball. After battling injuries last season, it appears that he is more than ready to dominate across a full healthy season. Furthermore, his comments perfectly exemplify that mental edge that has kept LeBron as one of the league’s elite players for more than two decades.

LeBron, Lakers Eye Do-Over After Mixed 2022/23

The Lakers were not the biggest spenders in free agency. Their primary objective was to secure their existing core, signing Rui Hachimuri, Austin Reaves, and D’Angelo Russell to extensions. Their biggest signing was a three-year deal for Gabe Vincent. Meanwhile, they also added Taurean Prince, Cam Reddish, and Jaxson Hayes as depth pieces. The key to success, and possibly another title, will be avoiding injuries to key contributors. While the Lakers showed what they could do in the playoffs, early-season injuries to LeBron and Anthony Davis hurt those efforts immensely.

Furthermore, there is a wealth of speculation that this may be LeBron’s final year with the Lakers. His son, Bronny, is expected to see minimal disruption to his basketball life plan following his cardiac arrest last month. That means Bronny’s entrance into the 2024 NBA Draft remains on track for the time being. LeBron has made it clear that he wants to play at least one season with Bronny. However, as the chances of the Lakers landing Bronny are slim, LeBron will most likely change teams next season. Despite that, for now at least, it’s clear that LeBron is ready for Season 21.

Stephen A. Smith Says LeBron James’ Legacy Would Be Nothing Without Dwyane Wade

Another day, another hot take from Stephen A. Smith. Amid a week where Smith may have straight up broken the law, he took some time to drop a different basketball hot take. A lot has been made about LeBron’s absence from Dwyane Wade’s recent Hall of Fame enshrinement. Of course, the most likely reason for this is that James is continuing to care for his son Bronny. Bronny is recovering from a cardiac arrest last month. However, myriad theories surrounding disrespect and beef have also emerged.

It appears that Smith is one of those believers, as he tackled the issue head-on during a recent episode of The Stephen A. Smith Show. “LeBron James, one could easily argue, wouldn’t even know what it’s like to be a champion had it not been for Dwyane Wade,” Smith said. “Somebody needs to say it, so I’m going to say it.” Smith’s argument is based on the notion that LeBron didn’t win his first championship until he linked with Wade in Miami. Of course, LeBron has won two other titles. He earned one with the Cavs in 2016 and another with the Lakers in 2020. However, Smith later clarified that LeBron remains his #2 all-time NBA player behind MJ.

Does LeBron Owe It All To Wade?

Smith’s argument is muddled at best. He’s not saying Wade is a better player than James, although that’s definitely what it sounds like upon first hearing it. Instead, Smith is trying to make a very labored point about LeBron finally getting the support he needed to win a championship. Honestly, the most surprising thing about this take is how pedestrian it is. Like yeah, Wade helped LeBron get over the championship hump. Was that not the point of “The Decision”? Wasn’t all of this by design to get LeBron a championship-caliber supporting cast?

Again, what’s weird is that Smith is trying to apply this to LeBron’s non-attendance at the Hall of Fame ceremony. It feels like this would be a bigger deal if his family hadn’t suffered a major medical emergency less than a month prior. It’s completely understandable that LeBron might want to take things slow. But unless either party comes out to say otherwise, his non-attendance shouldn’t get taken as some weird snub against Wade? Maybe someone needs to check in on Stephen A., his takes are starting to get weird.

Lakers Reportedly Working With “The Last Dance” Producer

Netflix’s The Last Dance was one of the hottest things on TV in 2020. The ten-episode documentary went behind the scenes of the Chicago Bulls’ 1997-98 season. That title run would ultimately become the last of the Bulls’ 90s dynasty and the series perfectly balanced archival footage with contemporary interviews. Of course, part of the show’s appeal was that we the audience (and many of the players at the time) knew it was their “last dance”.

However, another documentary may be in the works from the same production team. According to Lakers announcer John Ireland, Andy Thompson, who produced The Last Dance, has been spending a lot of time with the team this season. It has been a historic season for the Lakers, with LeBron surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the NBA’s all-time leading scorer. Furthermore, the Lakers have been making a dominant run as a seven seed in the playoffs.

Is A LeBron-Centric “The Last Dance” In The Works?

“I hope I’m not talking out of school here. Andy Thompson, who is the guy who shot The Last Dance, Mychal Thompson’s younger brother, who has worked for the NBA for 30 years, has spent a ton of time with us this year,” Ireland told the Awful Announcing podcast. “So if LeBron ever wanted to go down this road, I think Andy is stockpiling that just so he has it and has the opportunity to tell the story.” It’s an interesting concept, but it only really works if this is LeBron’s last dance. LeBron has not expressed any clear intention to retire and has been very vocal about playing a few more years so he can share the court with Bronny.

“If we go on a magical run to the title, Andy, who was the driving force behind The Last Dance, most of the stuff you saw in those 10 episodes was shot by Andy Thompson. And Andy’s a smart guy, he’s already working on, potentially, a story about the end of LeBron’s run like he had one for the end of Jordan’s run,” Ireland added. However, while the season has been historic for multiple reasons, it really needs a Championship-winning ending. The Lakers currently lead the Warriors 3-2 in the Western Conference Semifinals.
