LeBron James Reveals Why He Never Did The Dunk Contest

LeBron James has accomplished a lot throughout his career in the NBA. Overall, he is someone who really cannot be toppled. At the end of the day, he is one of the GOATs and should be top three on every single’s fan’s list. However, there are still a few things that LeBron was never able to accomplish. One of those things was winning an NBA Dunk Contest. Of course, he never won a dunk contest because he never actually participated in it. This has always come as a great disappoint to the fans.

As many of you should all know, LeBron is incredible at dunking the basketball. Consequently, one would assume that he could put on a show in this competition. However, he never did and it led to other superstars passing up the opportunity. While speaking to Brandon “Scoop B” Robinson of Bally Sports, LeBron James explained why he hasn’t ever been part of the dunk contest. Ultimately, it boils down to him never seeing it as that essential.

LeBron James Gives His Reasons

“I don’t think it was something I wanted to accomplish in my career; it’s not a goal of mine and it never was coming into the NBA to be a part of the Dunk Contest, you know?” LeBron James said. “Making the NBA All-Star Team was, being the league MVP, winning Defensive Player of the Year, winning NBA Championships…? THOSE were some goals of mine. The NBA Dunk Contest was NEVER a goal of mine so, it wasn’t something that I had too much passion for.” At the end of the day, LeBron’s answer makes sense, although some fans will still be disappointed by it.

At this point in his career, LeBron James can do as he pleases. Whether or not he would ever do the dunk contest in his final season, remains to be seen. Hopefully, we do get to see it. YesJulz Denies Sleeping With LeBron James, Being With Terrence J During Car Crash

YesJulz has recently cleared up some ongoing rumors on social media. Earlier today, she shut down claims that she was in the car with Terrence J during his 2018 car wreck. She also spoke on rumors that she has slept with NBA star LeBron James.

She discussed accusations that she was the mystery woman seen in the car with Terrence J during his alleged hit-and-run. “I’ve told my truth and the next time I see any media platform spreading a false narrative about me my lawyer is going to sue the f*ck out of you,” she wrote on Twitter, “Try me if you’d like, I’ve got the budget & motivation to fight back now.” YesJulz went on to call out Joe Budden, who she’s previously had beef with. “That goes for you too, Joe Buggin. I wasn’t the one in the car & I’m not letting that narrative continue without repercussions either.” She added, “Enough is enough.”

YesJulz Says Her And LeBron Were Just Friends

YesJulz also squashed rumors that she slept with LeBron James, claiming that the two of them were never romantically involved. “I have never in my entire life been alone with LeBron James,” she said, “Period.” She explains, “Clearly we were friends, I was working in Miami I was one of the most popular party goers and throwers in Miami.” The personality went on to describe working alongside James. She asks, “Do you think that somebody who’s married would Tweet and take pictures with and be around somebody that they’re […] doing something with?”

YesJulz later explains that that claims she slept with the pro baller don’t even make sense, because at the time, she was dating one of his friends. She revealed that her relationship with James’ friend ultimately didn’t work out, but they remain friends. The personality says she has the “utmost respect for Savannah [James],” and thinks that the married couple has a “beautiful family.” YesJulz is sick of “this stain” being put on her name.

Lil Wayne Personally Ranked The Basketball Greats Between Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, And Michael Jordan

Lil Wayne ranked some of the top basketball players of all-time during his appearance on Matt Barnes and Stephen Jackson’s All The Smoke podcast.

His choice was between LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, and Michael Jordan, to which he responded, “Bron, Mike and Kobe.”

From there, he went on to explain his decision behind the ranking.

“Bron, I don’t know Bron personally so my answer for Bron would be from afar,” Lil Wayne said, noting that he appreciated his stats. “My answer for Bron is on the court. Bron, you gotta remember, I know for a fact I loved Jordan for the way he always won. As a kid, you don’t know too much about the ins and outs of the game.

“I got old enough to know how hard it is to f*cking do it back-to-back-to-back,” he added, according to HipHopDX. “So that’s where he got his respect with me to and started getting his respect with me to where he’s the greatest.”

He continued to point out that he respected LeBron’s swap between three different teams over the championships.

“That’s right there, that’s when regardless he ain’t got six, but he done it with three different teams,” Wayne noted. “And not on one of those m*thaf*ckin’ teams did he play role two. That right there is what tipped him over the Jordan scale for me.”

Lionel Messi Move Causes LeBron James Meme To Trend

On June 7, Lionel Messi announced that he would be signing with the MLS’ Inter Miami. It came as a shock to many pundits, many of whom expected Messi to sign with Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia or Barcelona of Spain. “I have made the decision that I am going to Miami. I still don’t have it agreed upon 100 percent and a few things are needed, but, well, we decided to continue my path there,” Messi said. “After winning the World Cup and not being able to return to Barcelona, it was my turn to go to the league of the United States to live football in another way and to enjoy the day-to-day more. Obviously, with the same responsibility and desire to play well and do things well as always. But in a calmer way.”

Messi immediately becomes the biggest signing in the history of the MLS. Furthermore, Messi could make his debut as soon as next month, as his contract with PSG expires at the end of June. However, it’s unclear how much an impact of Messi will have. Inter Miami are currently in last place in the Eastern Conference. At the time of writing, Inter Miami has 15 points from 16 games. Furthermore, they are on a five-game losing streak.

As the news broke, non-soccer fans took to Twitter to look for an explanation for the wider implications and context. Many of the people asking were NBA fans, likely unaware of the stature of the MLS. This led to one phrase being repeated over and over – “Lebron James joining the Shanghai Sharks.”

The Chinese Basketball Association has developed some truly great talent such as Yao Ming. However, in comparison to the NBA, it’s a very fair comparison to the Messi-Inter Milan move. While both Messi and LeBron are getting on in years, they are both still elite athletes. However, the choice for Messi to head to the US truly indicates that his career is winding down. Although they may not have all of the stats, they can still engage in hilarious debates. Thankfully, Scottie Pippen gave them all sorts of cannon fodder this past week as he called LeBron the GOAT. Moreover, he tried to say that Michael Jordan was a “horrible” player, which is just truly ridiculous.

Scottie has not been happy with Michael as of late, and there is a simple explanation for that. His ex-wife Larsa is currently dating Michael Jordan’s son Marcus. This has been a wild development to watch play out, and as you can imagine Ma$e believes it is the reason for Scottie’s latest comments. “Scottie is wilding,” the legend explained. “You’re going way overboard, Scottie. You’re making it obvious that Mike’s son being with your wife is getting to you. It’s just mind-boggling to think that you are this messed up over Michael Jordan’s son.”

After a bit of banter between himself and Cam, Ma$e opted to make a joke about LeBron James and his sons. It was a wild thought to put out into the world. Kyrie Irving has asked his former running mate LeBron James to join the Dallas Mavericks. According to Bleacher Report, Irving wants James to join the Mavs, petitioning for a trade that would form a big three with the two and Luka Doncic.

The news follows an exit from the Western Conference Finals, which Irving took in multiple games of courtside. There was also the trade deadline disgruntlement of James after the Lakers didn’t land the star point guard.

Sources close to the Mavericks state the team was preparing an offer for James last year before the Lakers turned their season around. Adding to the hurdles, the new Collective Bargaining Agreement will carry the weight of a hard cap, making the three max slots hard to put together, which would require a major pay cut for James and Irving.

Heading into next season, James has $46.9 million on the books with a possible $50.6 million player option for the next season.

Kyrie Irving Reportedly Trying To Recruit LeBron James To Dallas

Kyrie Irving has certainly had a bit of a hard time with the Dallas Mavericks. Although he and Luka Doncic should have been a dynamic duo, they were anything but. They clashed on the court and ended up missing the playoffs. However, it seems like Kyrie is interested in staying in Dallas. He has a free agency decision to make at the end of the month, and some rumors point to him staying in Texas. Overall, this would be a very interesting development, that would require more acquisitions.

Of course, Kyrie Irving was being tied to LeBron James all season long. Fans just assumed that Kyrie would go to the Los Angeles Lakers. After all, they could use a point guard, and LeBron loves him. Now, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic, things could actually be going the other way. As he explains in the tweet below, Kyrie is trying to get LeBron to go to the Dallas Mavericks. Although, it doesn’t seem like we have an answer as to how LeBron reacted to that.
