Tristan Thompson Joins Lakers Amid Rumored Khloé Kardashian Reunion

Tristan Thompson has signed with the Los Angeles Lakers as the team prepares to compete in the playoffs. The agreement comes amid rumors that the former NBA champion has rekindled his relationship with Khloé Kardashian. The mother of his two children lives in Los Angeles.

“Khloé and Tristan live .2 miles away from each other in Hidden Hills,” a source exclusively told Us, earlier this month. “Tristan is thrilled about having his own place so close to Khloé so he can visit her and the kids as often as possible.”

The source added to Us: “He knows they’re always going to be in each other’s lives because of their children. But that doesn’t mean he hasn’t been trying. At this point, he feels like all he can do is be the best father to their kids that he can and show Khloé over time that he’s there for their family. He is so happy he was able to find a home right around the corner from them because they’re his priority. He just wants to be there for his kids.”

As Thompson joins the Lakers, the team is currently 43-39, leaving them ranked 7th in the Western Conference. As for why they added the veteran, Lakers coach Darvin Ham said before the team’s game on Sunday, “Just to shore up our backcourt and to shore up our frontline.” He added: “What he brings, his spirit, his positivity as well as the way he’s played, years and years of championship-level basketball. Championship pedigree. Great guy to be around, great teammate, I’ve heard nothing but great things about him. And having coached against him for a bunch of years, he and I have always had a great rapport throughout his career. I’m a big fan of him, I watched him back when he was playing at Texas. But just another great guy to add a serviceable player if we need to go in that direction.” The Lakers also added Shaquille Harrison.

Snoop Dogg Posts Brutal Meme After Lakers Loss

It’s no secret that Snoop Dogg loves the LA Lakers. A native of Long Beach, the Lakers have been in his blood since childhood. Snoop even went as far as to imagine a possible NBA career for himself in his 1999 hit Hoop Dreams. Despite a brief allegiance swap to the Warriors in 2007, Snoop lives and dies by the purple and gold. Snoop has been a regular fixture at Lakers home games since 2009 and even owned a Lakers-themed lowrider.

However, it has been a tough task being a Lakers fan in recent years. This season is a perfect example, with the Lakers failing to post a .500 record until their 74th game of the year. Add in the injuries to AD and LeBron, and there isn’t a whole lot for fans to cheer about. For Snoop, things came to a head after the Lakers fell 125-118 against the Clippers on Wednesday. It was a crucial matchup, as the Lakers looked to leapfrog the Clippers and move out of the Play-In tournament. The loss means that the Lakers’ fate, with two games remaining, is out of the team’s hands.

Snoop Doesn’t Hold Back On Roasting Lakers

In a scathing Instagram post, Snoop revealed that he hadn’t been to a Lakers game in “2 years” and lambasted the Lakers’ dismal 0-11 run against the Clippers in recent matchups. Snoop warned the Lakers to “get this fixed” before he “go bad on y’all on first take with Steven a”. The post has received over 81,000 likes but many Lakers fans ran to the team’s defense in the comments. However, the post was a truth bomb, surprising many about Snoop’s frustrations with his beloved team.

However, Snoop’s love for the Lakers isn’t completely gone. Furthermore, as a die-hard Lakers fan, Snoop couldn’t help but take a dig at their cross-town rivals. “Only thing can make this pain go away is a ring something the clippers know nothing about,” Snoop lamented in the post. With two games remaining in the regular season, the Lakers find themselves in the Western Conference Play-In Tournament. They sit one game behind both the LA Clippers and Golden State Warriors.

Kobe Bryant’s Adidas Crazy 1 “Lakers Away” Officially Unveiled

Kobe Bryant was someone who had a very iconic history in terms of the sneaker world. Although he ended up with Nike for the final stages of his career, you cannot forget his output with Adidas. Overall, his Adidas shoes were clowned a lot of the time for looking fairly bizarre. They had this space shoe quality to them that was not popular during the early 2000s. However, these days, sneakerheads look back fondly on those Adidas days. After all, Kobe is a legend and he changed the game in a lot of ways.

Recently, the three-stripes brand has been coming through with some Kobe Bryant retros. Over the past few months, we have seen old colorways of the Adidas Crazy 1 come back on the market. Ultimately, this has been great news for fans who want to experience that nostalgia. It also helps that many of these color schemes are Los Angeles Lakers-adjacent. One could just look at the “Lakers Home” color scheme to see what we mean. Subsequently, fans can now expect the Adidas Crazy 1 “Lakers Away” to make it to the market.

An Iconic Kobe Bryant Adidas Shoe

As you can see in the official images above and below, this shoe is meant to be a retro of the same sneaker Kobe Bryant wore during his 2002 NBA title run. This is a shoe that will give lots of Lakers fans memories, and Adidas did a great job here. Firstly, the shoe is mostly covered in black material. Secondly, we get pops of gold on the front, as well as the sides. Lastly, purple is also prominent here, especially on the back heel, the outsole, and then the material that runs up the tongue. Overall, Adidas knocked it out of the park with these, and we know fans will just eat these up.

If you are interested in copping this brand-new shoe, you will be able to do so as of May 1st for a price of $150 USD. If you love Kobe Bryant, these are going to be a must-cop. As always, you can let us know what you think of these kicks, down in the comments section below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for the latest news and updates from around the sneaker world.

LeBron James Avoided Foot Surgery To Return To Play With Lakers

LeBron said that he avoided foot surgery to play with the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday by talking to “the LeBron James of feet.” Moreover, he returned to the team’s home court after a month struggling with a foot tendon injury. While their team lost to the Chicago Bulls 118-108, it still marked a good day for James and his team, as he’s finally back. After the game, he made the cheeky comment when explaining that multiple doctors advised foot surgery. However, after talking to his GOAT equivalent (according to him), he found the right rehab plan to heal and get ready to ball without a more taxing medical procedure.

Furthermore, this prompted a lot of jokes in the comments about “the LeBron James of feet” being the second-best in his field. Of course, GOAT conversations regarding Michael Jordan and LeBron are quite common, especially after the latter breaking the all-time NBA scoring record. Wherever you stand on that debate, it’s still a pretty funny soundbite from the Ohio native. What’s more is that he’ll have two full days to further recover before the Lakers play the Bulls in Chicago gain on Wednesday (March 29).

LeBron James On How He Avoided Foot Surgery

Meanwhile, the 38-year-old and the rest of the California team fights for a spot in the Western Conference for the playoffs. Not only that, but they are now in ninth behind the Minnesota Timberwolves and New Orleans Pelicans. While it’s certainly better to have LeBron on the court rather than not, Sunday’s game proved that his presence is not a guarantee of victory. Of course, had he taken alternative measures, things could’ve looked much more grim for the team. Hopefully the “LeBron James of feet” set him straight for the rest of the Lakers’ championship run.

Still, James should be commended for fighting through something much more serious than what the organization suggested. As for their next moves, the Lakers will now embark on a five-game run away from their home court. As such, there’s a lot of pressure for them to win big, and it’s pressure that the legendary player seems determined to bank on. Regardless, stick around on HNHH for the latest on the NBA, the Los Angeles Lakers, and LeBron James.

Lil Wayne & Odell Beckham Jr. Chop It Up At The Lakers Game

Lil Wayne is someone who frequently attends basketball games. Additionally, the same can be said of Odell Beckham Jr. who spends a lot of time in Los Angeles. Consequently, you can typically see both of these men at Los Angeles Lakers games. While the Lakers may not be the best team right now, they are fascinating to watch. The team is 10th in the Western Conference, which means they are on the edge of the play-in. If LeBron James comes back in time, they could very well be on their way to a surprising playoff run. That said, it should be no surprise that people want front-row seats to their last 10 games.

Last night, the Lakers were taking on the Phoenix Suns, who are without Kevin Durant. Overall, the Lakers were able to take advantage of this as they won the game by a score of 122-111. This win put the Lakers that much closer to a playoff spot. Moreover, Lil Wayne and Odell were courtside for the occasion. In the video down below, you can see Wayne sitting next to his son Kameron, while OBJ was right next to them.

Lil Wayne x OBJ

Furthermore, the two were engaged in conversation the entire time. Although we cannot hear what they were saying, it is clear that the two have a great friendship. Wayne is someone who always seems to take an interest in those around him, which is nice to see. Perhaps OBJ was even talking about his free agency plans. As it stands, Odell is looking for a new NFL home, and the New York Jets as well as the Kansas City Chiefs seem to be the frontrunners to land his services.

Odell is coming off of quite a few injuries. For instance, he has had two ACL surgeries over the last few years. However, he still believes that he can be an effective wide receiver. If he were to play with Patrick Mahomes or Aaron Rodgers, he could very well have an incredible comeback season. Hopefully, we get to see that come to fruition. Stay tuned to HNHH for more news and updates from around the sports world.

Gervonta Davis Earns Praise From Denzel Washington

Gervonta Davis is easily one of the best boxers in the entire world right now. Overall, he is an undefeated world champion who continues to gain critical acclaim. In fact, he is set to take on Ryan Garcia next month. This is going to be the biggest fight of his entire career. Although Davis is undefeated, there is this narrative that he hasn’t fought anyone worthwhile. Consequently, he has received quite a bit of criticism. This fight against Garcia is meant to show the world that he can beat top-tier fighters, and he can do it convincingly.

This past week, Davis and Garcia even had their first press conference for the fight. Overall, it was very interesting to watch. These two have a lot of bad blood between each other, and it should make for an amazing fight. Additionally, Davis is going into the match as a huge favorite. This will certainly motivate Garcia who now has to deal with the underdog label. That said, Davis is making sure that he still engages in some leisure time ahead of the fight. For instance, he was in L.A. last night to watch the Lakers play the Knicks.

Gervonta Davis x Denzel Washington

In the end, it was the New York Knicks who came out victorious. However, for Davis, it was a big night when you consider who he got to meet courtside. In the video clip above, Davis could be seen chopping it up with none other than legendary actor Denzel Washington. Washington was attending the game with Spike Lee, instead of attending the Oscars. As you can see, Washington had nothing but praise for Davis. The actor told the boxer that he loves him, and you could tell that Tank was loving every second of it.

Davis is someone whose fights are absolutely box office. He is a massive draw, and this fight against Ryan Garcia will only increase his status in the boxing world. Whether or not he will be able to quiet down the doubters, remains to be seen. Let us know who you have winning the Garcia Vs. Davis fight, in the comments below. Additionally, stay tuned to HNHH for more news from the sports world.

The Best Players The Pat Riley Lakers Had

The Pat Riley Lakers were an iconic era of basketball. The legendary coach ushered in the “Showtime” era of the team and arguably made them the iconic franchise they are today.

Riley was one of the best coaches in NBA history. It also helps that his Lakers had some of the best players in the NBA at the time and in history.

His teams made the playoffs 21 of his 24 seasons of coaching. Without injuries to star players, he might have been in the postseason 24 of 24 seasons. Legendary comic Chris Rock once said of Riley:

“No man has led more [men] to the promised land than Coach Pat Riley. He may not get us to the mountaintop but he’ll get us to the playoffs. And that’s all we want.”

Chris Rock

Riley’s Lake Show was one of the most impressive dynasties in sports and it had a ton of iconic NBA players. Throughout his 10 years as head coach of the Lakers, Pat Riley coached a few of the best players in NBA history.

He also coached a few other Hall of Famers as well as a few stars from that era that weren’t quite worthy of eternal enshrinement. Here are a few of the best players from the Riley Lakers era.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

Prior to a different Laker (LeBron James) breaking the record, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was the leading scorer in NBA history. His presence on the Pat Riley Lakers began in 1982, but he predated Riley and was a member of the team in 1975. The future Hall of Famer was an All-Star in 19 out of 20 seasons. He is considered by some to be the best basketball player ever.

James may have broken his scoring title, but Abdul-Jabbar was about as unstoppable as any NBA player ever was. He’s probably the best player Riley ever coached.

Magic Johnson

Magic Johnson is widely considered the best point guard of all time. He was also a big part of Riley’s team. Johnson is a big reason Paul Westhead was fired and Pat Riley was promoted to head coach. He was an All-Star for all but two seasons of his incredible career and won the MVP award three times.

Magic revolutionized the game of basketball. He also very well could have been the most important player to the Riley Lakers. Given his role in getting Riley an opportunity as head coach, the entire trajectory of the NBA might be different if Johnson was never a part of the Riley Lakers era.

Bob McAdoo

Bob McAdoo, the North Carolina product, was a tremendous player during his NBA career. A Hall of Famer, McAdoo averaged 22.1 points and 9.4 rebounds over 17 seasons. From 1982-1985, McAdoo was a force to be reckoned with for the Pat Riley Lakers and helped turn them into the dynasty they were.

McAdoo doesn’t have the name recognition of Johnson or Kareem. He deserves to be considered alongside them, though. He was instrumental in the Lake Show dynasty.

Mitch Kupchak

While Mitch Kupchak may be better known today for being an NBA GM (formerly with the Lakers and now with the Charlotte Hornets), he was once a key member of the Showtime Lakers.

Kupchak averaged double digit scoring for his career and was a key role player off the bench. He didn’t impact the box score as much as some other players. Nevertheless, he was a consistent player for the Lakers from 1981 to 1986. Had he not been injured for the entire year in 1983, his numbers might even look a lot better.

James Worthy

Another Hall of Famer, James Worthy is considered one of the best college basketball players of all time. Fortunately for the Lakers, his game translated to the NBA pretty well. He turned into one of the best players during his era.

The forward spent his entire career with the Lakers, beginning in 1982. He was drafted in Pat Riley’s first full season as head coach and was an instant producer. The former UNC star averaged 13.4 points and 5.2 rebounds.

Worthy would go on to be a seven-time All-Star and win multiple championships with the Lakers. Without him, the dynasty might have never been.

Byron Scott

Byron Scott averaged a cool 14.1 points per game for his entire career. He joined Pat Riley’s Lakers in 1983 and stayed with the team past the head coach until 1993. Furthermore, during those seasons, he averaged over 16 points for the Lakers.

In 1984-1085, Scott led the entire league in three point percentage. He was a 37% shooter from deep for his entire career.

Vlade Divac

Vlade Divac is most known for being the trade piece sent to the Hornets in exchange for Kobe Bryant. That title is hard to shed, but Divac was a good player for the Lakers.

Divac only played one season under Riley, but he’s a Hall of Famer so he should be included in the best players to play for Pat Riley and the Lakers.

Divac was an incredible player, averaging 11.8 points, 8.2 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game. He didn’t do as much during his rookie season with the Lakers. However, he did average 1.4 blocks per game that year.

The Pat Riley Lakers are one of the most iconic eras of basketball for a team and the entire sport. Thanks to Riley’s leadership, some of these players ended up better than they would likely have been.

Still, Riley had the benefit of coaching what turned out to be quite a few Hall of Famers. That can really only help a coach look better. He’s a Hall of Fame coach. He’s one of the best executives this league has seen, too. Pat Riley was an unbelievable basketball mind and it showed in his coaching.

Shannon Sharpe Dissed By Grizzlies After Lakers Loss

Shannon Sharpe is one of the best sports talk personalities in the game right now. Overall, he is the reason why Undisputed is even watchable. Were it not for him, Skip would be painful on his own. However, this has not come without a bit of controversy. On top of some of his run-ins with Skip on the show, Shannon found himself at the center of an issue with none other than the Memphis Grizzlies. While sitting courtside at a game, he began chirping with Dillon Brooks. Subsequently, numerous players got involved and it made for an iconic courtside moment.

Since that time, Shannon Sharpe has apologized for his behavior. He made it crystal clear that what he did was not good and that he hopes to learn from what he did. Meanwhile, the Grizzlies went on a bit of a losing streak after the altercation. Overall, fans were excited about this as the public turned on Ja Morant and the Grizz. Although, on Tuesday night, the Grizzlies took down the Lakers who are in a fight for a playoff spot. After the game, their social media person made sure to hand Sharpe a swift L.

Shannon Sharpe Takes The L

In the tweet up above, you can see a picture of Shannon Sharpe from that fateful night in Los Angeles. In the picture, he is pointing toward the court. However, the image has been edited to depict an L at the end of Sharpe’s fingertips. It is all very clever and especially petty. Although Sharpe might not be a fan of these tactics, the Grizzlies fanbase will certainly be cracking a smile or two today.

For the Grizzlies, this win is especially bittersweet because now, the Lakers have a much harder road to the postseason. These two teams clearly do not like one another, and that has been made apparent. However, there is a very real possibility that they meet each other in the first round. If that happens, we will have narratives and hot takes for days. Let us know what you thought about last night’s game, in the comments section down below.

LeBron James Spotted Limping After Injuring Right Foot

LeBron James was seen limping as he left the American Airlines Center in Dallas following the Los Angeles Lakers’ win over the Mavericks. He appeared to injure his right foot during a layup attempt on Dwight Powell in the third quarter. After the contact, floor microphones for the broadcast picked up James remarking to the team’s bench that he “heard a pop.” James remained in the game until its conclusion. The Lakers won 111-108.

“It’s been better,” James said when asked about his foot afterward. “That’s for sure. But I definitely wasn’t going to go to the locker room and not finish the game out tonight. Just understood the importance of the game, and then with the momentum that we had, I felt like we could still win after being down. We’ll monitor it the next couple days, see how it feels and go from there.”

Lakers coach Darvin Ham said that James is “good” as of now but the team will be monitoring his foot. “He’s good,” he confirmed. “Our medical people are looking at him now. He’ll be reevaluated again in the morning. So once we get some type of official word tomorrow, we’ll go from there. But as of right now, he’s good.”

James finished with 26 points on 10-for-23 shooting, adding eight rebounds and three assists. He scored 11 of his points in the fourth quarter, after the injury occurred. For the victory, the Lakers overcame a 27-point deficit, the biggest comeback by any team this season. With the win, the team improves to 29-32 leaving them at 11th place in the Western Conference standings. They’re currently fighting for a spot in the playoff games as the season nears the final stretch. There’s reason for Lakers fans to be hopeful as their team has played notably better since acquiring D’Angelo Russell, who was absent for Sunday’s win in Dallas.

Lil Durk’s Lakers Game Look Has Twitter Clowning Him

Like most male rappers, Lil Durk obviously prides himself on having a unique wardrobe. Previously, he collaborated with Marc Jacobs on a campaign that found him modelling alongside Bella Hadid. He’s also been known to spend a fortune on designer jewelry and outfits. However, not all of them have earned a seal of approval from his fans.

Most recently, the father of six made waves with the outfit he donned while sitting courtside at the Lakers game earlier this week. While the basic elements of his look aren’t so bad, an over-the-top addition to the front of his sweater has the internet questioning how comfortable he was. For his night out on the town, Durk markedly paired black leather pants and boots with a grey mohair sweater.

Across his chest, the 7220 hitmaker surprisingly wore a broken skateboard. Both halves of it accordingly mark a V-shape in the middle of his shirt. He also layered several chains around his neck, and at times throughout the night, put on a balaclava over his face in the crowd. It remains unclear where Durk purchased the controversial sweater from, but social media hasn’t been shy about expressing their distaste for it.

@nojumper/Instagram

No Jumper later reposted photos of the lyricist to their Instagram feed writing, “Rich people will wear anything if it’s designer.” In the comments, many were quick to clown Durkio for his bold outfit. “POSER!!! He don’t even skate,” one person pointed out. Another added, “Wear anything their handlers tell them to wear.”

Meanwhile, on Elon Musk’s app, the conversation has been largely the same. “Bro got the Walmart skateboard on his mom’s sweatshirt,” one troll joked this afternoon. “People who let you walk out the crib in this and tell you that your fit looks fire ain’t really your friends,” another circulating tweet says.
