Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign Leave Fans Scratching Their Heads With “A Thousand Miles” Remix

As with many of their other VULTURES listening parties, Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign’s China concert over the weekend was quite eventful. Whether it was bringing all of Ye’s kids onstage or dissing Adidas once more, there was a lot to take in and some notable moments to witness. However, one of the oddest timestamps occurred when they debuted a new song that remixes Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles.” If you don’t recognize the track title, we guarantee you’ll recognize its opening piano lick. Ty sings its lyrics in the clip below over a string recreation of the original instrumentation, backed by frenetic ad-libs from Skinbone’s 2018 parody of the same track.

All in all, it doesn’t actually sound so bad as it looks on paper, especially with the regal flair Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign add to the melody. But it’s certainly an odd choice for a cover, although their as-of-yet unreleased “EVERYBODY” collab with its Backstreet Boys sample kind of set this precedent already. Also, it’s not like the quality standard is very high after VULTURES 2, if we’re being real. Nonetheless, it wasn’t the only new song they teased.

Kanye West & Ty Dolla Sign’s “A Thousand Miles” Rendition

Furthermore, many folks wonder what Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s next moves will be. While there’s still technically another VULTURES volume in the works, the release strategy for its previous installments leaves little hope for a well-groomed release, let alone a compelling one. Also, there are rumors that recent performances have inspired Ye for a new project, although the nature of it’s unclear. Whether it’s a solo album or another collaborative effort is a question for Father Time as of writing this article.

Meanwhile, even with all the family time and performance spectacles, there’s still a lot of controversy over Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign. The former definitely carries most of that weight, and we don’t know if this will ever really see another big shift. Ye often embodies a pendulum swing between many different perspectives, emotions, and compromises. If only the most erratic thing about their art was to make a Vanessa Carlton cover…

Kanye West Shows Off The Colossal Set List For His Show In South Korea

On Thursday, August 22, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign took a short trip to South Korea for one of their “Vultures Listening Experiences”. The latter announced it on his Instagram about a month prior to the release of VULTURES 2, the second it’s what’s sadly turning out to be an extremely mediocre trilogy. Even with that, West fans across the globe are going to make sure that they keep his and the record’s status afloat. As for now, this was the only chance to support them, as the Taiwan show scheduled for tomorrow was axed.

As per usual, Kanye West was causing a stir online, as he dedicated his Graduation hit “I Wonder” to Drake. Obviously, given their relationship is always in flux, and it currently being in an ugly state, fans were unsure on his motives. Some see it as a diss, as well, though. “This one’s for Drake, this one’s for Ian Connor,” Ye shouted to the crowd.

However, this wasn’t the only thing causing some sort of reaction. According to Uproxx, Kanye West posted to his recently reactivated Instagram account to share the behemoth of a set list that he put on. 54 songs were performed that night and it was basically a catalog wide affair. It featured some of his biggest hits of the past and present such as “Devil In A New Dress”, “Run This Town”, “Hurricane”, among others. Of course, there were tons of tracks from both VULTURES tapes as well. “GOD’S NOT FINISHED”, he captioned the post. With that, it sounds like he’s got more shows in the works, so stay tuned.

What are your thoughts on Kanye West nearly performing his entire catalog in South Korea? Is this the longest set list you have ever seen? How do you feel about him performing out that way? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Kanye West. Kanye West Officially Releases Long Lost “CAN U BE” With Travis Scott & Ty Dolla $ign

Even after four digital deluxe versions of VULTURES 2 were uploaded to YEEZY.com, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign had one more surprise up their sleeves. In general, ¥$ have been feeding fans past recordings from older albums so far during this trilogy. But the second installment is living up to that even more so. Last night, the controversial duo dropped three new songs in the forms of “BELIEVER”, “DRUNK”, with Peso Pluma and Kodak Black, and “GUN TO MY HEAD” with Kid Cudi. But Kanye West wanted to treat his most loyal supporters with the official release “CAN U BE”.

This track is perhaps the most sought after of the bunch, as it was recorded during The Life Of Pablo sessions. It used to be referred to as “Pressure”, which you can find on Soundcloud and YouTube. This updated rendition clocks in at around 2:30 minutes and now includes an additional verse from Ty Dolla $ign. The track famously incorporates a flip of Marvin Gaye and Diana Ross’s “Stop, Look, Listen (to Your Heart)”, perhaps just another reason why this track was highly requested.

Fans Buy Out “CAN U BE” Deluxe Version Of Kanye & Ty’s VULTURES 2

Genius, as usual, as some pretty interesting facts about “CAN U BE”. In their annotation, they share that this is a song that Kanye West was not a big fan of. Because of this, he stopped working on in it in 2017. However, his fans, as we have stated, have adored this record since it was first leaked. That brings us to our next interesting tidbit. The leaking community valued this track so highly that they tried to put it up for auction. Interestingly, it would take quite a bid of time before bidders got involved. Eventually, it would be sold for an alleged sticker price of $25,000 and the files would be released to the public in May of this year. Finally, “CAN U BE” is a fan given name, thanks to Ye’s repetitive chorus.

So, there is some speculation that fans released this and not Ye. It did make into onto streaming platforms briefly before being taken down and included on the YEEZY.com site for $5.00. The “CAN U BE” version of VULTURES 2 is now sold out. However, there are YouTube accounts reuploading it for those who didn’t get to purchase it. What are your thoughts on Kanye West releasing “CAN U BE” with Travis Scott and Ty Dolla $ign? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Kanye West Makes Tweaks To These “VULTURES 2” Tracks Amid Quality Complaints From Fans

“VULTURES 2 AVAILABLE ON ALL DSPS. UPDATED SONGS WILL BE PUBLISHED IN REAL TIME”. That is the message that still reads across Kanye West’s yeezy.com site amid the release of VULTURES 2. He shared that news the night of the album’s release, August 3, after fans were voicing their frustrations all day. Many have been dubbing this his worst project of his career thanks to poor mixing, vapid performances, and etc. This is something that the Georgia multi-hyphenate has done before, à la The Life Of Pablo. While there are quite a bit of people out there who feel these changes will help improve V2, others think there’s no saving it.

Regardless of what side you’re on in this ongoing discussion, Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign are living up to their promise. According to Kurrco, he shared the first of five tweaks to the 16-song tracklist. Whether or not we receive adjustments to each cut remains to be seen. For now, though, Ye and Ty have brought updates to “RIVER”, “530”, “SKY CITY,” “FIELD TRIP”, and “FRIED”. Kurrco provides extra insight for the first two, which are arguably the most coveted tracks, and the ones fans were disappointed in the most. For “RIVER”, the “OG drums” are back in the mix, so if you were able to hear the demo of that record, that may be a major tweak.

Kanye Fans, How Are We Feeling About These VULTURES 2 Changes?

Then, for “530”, Ty Dolla $ign, as well as Alvin from the titular chipmunk band, have vocals added. However, at the time of writing, these changes have not yet been deployed onto streaming yet. Whether or not Kanye actually releases each refined version like he said he would in “real time” or all at once when each track is done, remains to be seen. For now, continue to refresh your streaming platforms.

What are your thoughts on Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign making these adjustments to VULTURES 2? How much does this improve the overall listening experience? Is Ye officially on a decline after these last two projects, why or why not? What other things does he need to fix on the LP? We would like to hear what you have to say, so leave your thoughts in the comments. Additionally, always keep it locked in with HNHH for all of the latest news surrounding Kanye West, Ty Dolla $ign, and VULTURES 2. Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign Recruit Don Toliver, Playboi Carti, & Kodak Black For Unhinged “FIELD TRIP”

When you take a look back at the tracklist for VULTURES 1, the undoubted banger from it is “CARNIVAL”. For better or worse, it has an instantly recognizable instrumental and chorus. Additionally, the numbers the song continues to put up further proves that it stands above the rest. Pretty soon fans of Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign will come to the same conclusion about “FIELD TRIP”. Also like “CARNIVAL”, the track boasts a big-ticket cast of features. In this case it is Don Toliver and Kodak Black, a duo we never knew we needed, and Playboi Carti. He’s been heavily involved in both of these albums, as this is his third appearance.

He already helped Ye, Ty, and Rich The Kid reach number one status with “CARNIVAL” and he could replicate those results with “FIELD TRIP”. Also like its predecessor, this VULTURES 2 cut has a sticky chorus thanks to Don’s insanely high-pitched delivery and irresistible melody. Furthermore, the beat equally stands out just as much as “CARNIVAL”, perhaps even more so. It’s much more progressive, especially when Kodak’s verse pops in toward the end. As far as the lead stars performances go, they play more of a background role, as they split the second verse. However, Ty’s aggressive tone mixed with Ye’s hilarious puns about being extremely lavish are nice additions.

Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign Finally Deliver “VULTURES 2” With Stacked Features To Boot

Wow. The wait is now over. Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign, or ¥$, have put out VULTURES 2 and it’s available everywhere. Just like the inaugural VULTURES 1, the album is here on a Saturday morning after instead at midnight on a Friday. Even though there was a strong chance the tandem wouldn’t drop it yesterday, fans were still ticked off. However, everyone can now finally take a sigh of relief. Hype was built back up late yesterday after Kanye and Ty surprise-shared “SLIDE” with short feature from James Blake. Although, on the album the English singer is nowhere to be heard.

Thankfully, there are plenty of other guest stars all over the 16-song offering. The list of them starts out with a trio of Don Toliver, Playboi Carti, and Kodak Black on “FIELD TRIP”. Future scores two placements and Lil Wayne reunites with Kanye West for the first time in years on “LIFESTYLE”. Two of the rapper’s children, Chicago and North come to support their dad on “BOMB”. Then, you have other contributions from 070 Shake, CyHi, Young Thug, Charlie Wilson, and even more. Hopefully, what VULTURES 2 and 1 don’t share in common is unexpected takedowns off of streaming.
