Even though the Taylor Swift sightings at Kansas City Chiefs games have seemed to dwindle, she is still doing what she can to support. This past Sunday marked an important day in the NFL’s history, as they continue to expand the game to other countries. We have seen some great matchups take place in London, now we can expect more in Frankfurt, Germany.

The first one to take place happened to be the Chiefs and the “visiting” Miami Dolphins. It was a bit of a snoozer at the end of the first half. Travis Kelce and his team led 21-0. Then, Miami finally began to wake up and cut to seven heading into the fourth quarter. The Dolphins had a shot to tie with around a minute remaining but squandered the opportunity. Kelce was not his normal dominant self, hauling in just three catches for 14 yards. However, it was still good enough for him to be the leading receiver in franchise history, surpassing their former tight end, Tony Gonzalez.

Overall, Swift showed up to two games in as many weeks. This subsequently led to a whole lot of television coverage. Although some fans feel like it has been too much, the Swifties have been galvanized by all of this. In fact, Travis has gained a whole bunch of fans, which is probably very cool for him.

Many of those fans tuned in yesterday afternoon as the Kansas City Chiefs took on the Minnesota Vikings. The Chiefs won this game by a score of 27-20. Moreover, Kelce ended up scoring a touchdown in the game. Unfortunately, before that touchdown, he suffered a non-contact injury. Many were worried that this foot injury could have spelled the end of his day. Additionally, some were worried that it could have been much worse. After all, Kelce already missed the first game of the season due to an injury.

As soon as Kelce went down with an injury, Swifties took to Twitter where they admonished the NFL for their use of turf fields. Either way, by now, you have probably seen the clips of them leaving the arena together. These immediately went viral, especially with the dirty look that Kelce levied toward the camera. Now, however, new details are coming out in regard to their date. As it turns out, Taylor and Travis paid to have an entire restaurant cleared out. “I just got a call from a friend [in Missouri] and Taylor is going into a place, and she just paid for everybody in the restaurant so they would leave,” a TikToker claimed before deleting their video, per Page Six. “They were eating and the waitress came up to them and said, ‘Here’s the deal. Everything’s paid for, but you have to leave, like, right now.’ How freaking insane is this?”

For anyone at the restaurant, it must have been nice to have your meal paid for. Although, being rushed probably wasn’t the nicest feeling in the world. Taylor Swift Yelled ‘Let’s F**king Go!’ After Travis Kelce Caught A Touchdown Against The Bears

The Kansas City Chiefs spent Sunday afternoon dogwalking the Chicago Bears up and down the field, as they led 34-0 at halftime. However, the Chiefs enjoying a get-right game against the hapless Bears was a secondary story to many, as the rumored romance between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce reached a fever pitch when Swift showed up to the game in a luxury box alongside Kelce’s mom.

The superstar tight end was, rather surprisingly, not a huge part of the offensive explosion in the first half, but he eventually got in on the fun in the third quarter as the Bears somehow lost track of him in the back of the end zone to let the Chiefs go up 41-0 on them. Naturally, the FOX cameras cut quickly to Taylor Swift in the suite and captured her extremely fired up, chest bumping the guy next to her and then very clearly yelling “LET’S F**KING GO!” as she celebrated Kelce getting a touchdown catch.

The slow-mo of the chest bump is great stuff.

Afterwards, the folks in the production truck decided to continue the new tradition of broadcasts dropping Swift references for Kelce touchdowns by posting a “The Story Of Us” graphic after Kelce and Patrick Mahomes set a new Chiefs franchise record for touchdown combinations.

Aside from having to watch Justin Fields and the Chicago Bears attempt to play offense, it was a pretty great day for Taylor at the Chiefs game as she got to watch Kansas City’s offense in full force and see Travis do what he does best in the red zone.

The Thursday night season kickoff between the Detroit Lions and Kansas City Chiefs averaged 27.5 million viewers. It was the largest kickoff audience since 2015 and up 24% from the previous year.

According to Deadline, the NFL primetime games ran it up. The Sunday Night Football matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants brought in 21.8 million viewers, while Monday Night Football brought in 22.64 million.

This week, the Minnesota Vikings will visit the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday night. The Sunday night matchup will have the Miami Dolphons bringing their high flying offense to Gillette Stadium for a matchup with the New England Patriots. On Monday night, there will be a doubleheader as the New Orleans Saints will travel to the Carolina Panthers and the Cleveland Browns will visit the home of the terrible towels and battle the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Travis Kelce Begs Chris Jones To End Contract Holdout

Travis Kelce has made an impassioned plea to his teammate Chris Jones as Jones continues his contract holdout less than a week before the Chiefs open the 2023 NFL season against the Lions. “Chris, can you please come back? You’re really scaring me, man. I don’t get it. You must know something that I don’t know because I just don’t get it. I really want to get another Super Bowl ring with you, brother. This is me bargaining you to just come back and play football for the Chiefs. Please, we need you. We need you bad, and I don’t know what the situation is,” Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce said on the podcast he hosts with his brother Jason. “He’s just the best defensive player in the league right now. He’s deserving of all the money in the world. Chris, I love you. Please come back now,” he added.

Jones has not been with the team since the start of training camp due to a contract holdout. Jones, who had 44 tackles and 15.5 sacks in his 2022 campaign, has one year left on his current deal. According to prior reports, Jones is seeking a four-year, $80 million deal that the Chiefs are not currently interested in giving him. Furthermore, the Chiefs traded for Neil Farrell of the Raiders to fill the defensive vacancy left by Jones. Farrell had 12 tackles in nine games as a rookie in 2022.

Chiefs Refuse To Budge On Jones Stance

Despite Kelce’s plea, it appears that the Chiefs are planning to wait out Jones. “Chris has chosen to go this route,” head coach Andy Reid. “Some other guys have chosen to get their deals done and come in and play. I’m not here to criticize one way or the other. We’ve had a lot of success with the guys that we have and we go with it. Other than that, I take the distractions and throw them out the door and let’s get on with what’s real.”

He continued. “Chris is a great player,” Reid said. “We’ve got other good players. They’ll have to step their game up to fill the role. … Everybody just has to play their best, and then you work through it. But to think that you’re gonna fill in for Chris, that’s not what you’re doing.”

The NFL Draft has brought in more fans with the league’s recent decision to relocate the event yearly. Now fans around the country can finally see the big event happen in their city. The NFL selected Kansas City to be the home of this year’s draft. Kansas City fans made sure to show the league they got the memo. As night one is filled to the brim with fans attending the draft. This will put another feather in the cap of fans from Kansas City.

The draft is moments from starting as the anxiety begins to set in for fans. However, the Panthers seem set on who they will be taking with the number one overall pick. The reports are that Bryce Young will soon call Carolina home when the draft begins. Young has long been the top QB prospect. However, the Panthers have not officially announced they will be taking Young with the pick. But those around the organization believe the pick is already set in stone.

Now the most significant decision of the night will go to the Houston Texans. While many believe the Texans should select a quarterback with the pick. However, the football phenom may have to retire his throwing arm. Kelce delivered the ceremonial first pitch for the Cleveland Guardians on Friday. The pitch was a less-than-ideal attempt at hitting the strike zone. Kelce will now join the likes of John Wall and 50 Cent on the list of worst first-pitch attempts.

The throw from Kelce made it to home plate. But it had to roll just to get there. Kelce isn’t going to live this one down for a few weeks. When his brother Jason gets to speak with him next, Travis will hope the video has been scrubbed from the internet. Of course, Kelce was a good sport about the event. However, it seems as if Hill couldn’t be happier with the move. Hill also discussed that he only sees himself playing for a few more years before calling it a career. Evidently, Hill wants to hang up his cleats after the 2025 season.
