The “New Lives” campaign features new print advertisements showcasing inspirational stories from diverse individuals who have benefited from Goodwill’s services. These stories are paired with real donations from Goodwill stores across the country that made such transformations possible. “We want our customers to understand that the Goodwill down the street from them is not just a convenient place to donate things they no longer use,” said Onney Crawley, chief marketing officer of Goodwill Industries International. “Rather, donations that are sold at Goodwill stores help fund life-changing career training and placement programs for people who have faced unthinkable hardships and just want a fair shot.”

Last year alone, Goodwill helped more than 1.7 million people through various services, including career navigation, digital and trade skills, reentry programs, adult education, and on-the-job training. Goodwill launched the “New Lives” campaign to a positive reception. Among donors who viewed the campaign, 77% expressed increased interest in donating their goods to Goodwill, while 69% showed more interest in shopping at Goodwill stores. Fat Joe, Shaq, Jordin Sparks Announced as Performers During Big 12 Conference Championship

Fat Joe Shares That He's 'One Million Percent' Taking The COVID-19 Vaccine

The Phillips 66 Big 12 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships will feature a number of entertainment and fan experience improvements, according to the Big 12. These upgrades are the most recent in a string of entertainment alliances and partnerships that the Big 12 has carried out as it continues to position itself at the nexus of sport and culture.

The Grammy-nominated hip-hop legend Fat Joe will play a special VIP-only set on Friday, March 10th, after the day’s games are over. In addition, on March 11 at 10:00 p.m., NBA icon and media personality Shaquille O’Neal will play a one-hour DJ set at Mosaic in the Power & Light District following the games on Saturday. Entry to Shaq’s performance is available here.

“As we continue to elevate the Big 12 brand, we are thrilled to introduce a series of enhancements that will make the fan experience at our basketball championships second to none,” said Commissioner Brett Yormark. “The Big 12 Conference is a basketball powerhouse – as we thread the fabric connecting sports and culture, the Conference will continue to offer an array of off-court entertainment features, as well. I’m grateful to each of our partners, and I look forward to watching our incredible student-athletes perform on Big 12 Basketball’s biggest stage in Kansas City.”

For this year’s Basketball Championships, the Big 12 Conference and A Bathing Ape (BAPE) will strengthen their relationship. The Conference and BAPE will work together to create a limited-edition Big 12 x BAPE t-shirt that has the logos of each institution encircling the BAPE emblem. Around Municipal Auditorium and T-Mobile Center, videoboards and signs will also display the renowned BAPE camouflage marks. Previously, the Big 12 and BAPE collaborated for the 2022 Football Championship, designing a BAPE-themed camouflage Big 12 logo and installing it on endzone pylons, officials’ uniforms, and each 25-yard line.

Jordin Sparks Suggests Chris Brown & Rihanna Beef Caused “No Air” Grammys Snub: Watch

It’s been 15 years since Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown came together to make magic on “No Air. To this day, though, the American Idol alum continues to defend her friend. In the past, she’s shut down those who continue to bring up the father of three’s prior allegations of abuse – even though they may have cost her a Grammy.

Earlier this month, the “One Step At A Time” hitmaker appeared on Cut’s “Truth or Drink” video series. During the interview, the host couldn’t help but go back in time to the 2009 award ceremony. At the time, Breezy was arrested due to an altercation with his then-girlfriend, Rihanna.

According to Sparks, she found out about the incident “like everybody else [did].” As she recalls, label publicists approached her on the red carpet, telling the singer, “You know nothing.”

At the time, she had no idea about what happened, just that “No Air” was up for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals at the Grammys. Under normal circumstances, the night would’ve been a dream come true. However, it obviously took a turn for the worse after Breezy’s arrest.

Sparks says she found out the truth during the ceremony. At first, she was confident that they “had a really good chance of winning.” Ultimately, though, it was Robert Plant and Alison Krauss’ work on “Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)” that took the trophy.

“I couldn’t believe it,” the 33-year-old told Cut. “A lot of stuff that happened after that was not me. I think a lot of the powers that had a hand in, like… [I] didn’t know the ins and outs of the industry,” she further explained.

Reliving what could’ve been with “No Air” is never easy. Luckily, the interview also found Sparks happily discussing her solo music and her relationship. “Have you ever done the nasty while listening to your own music?” the host asked her.

From off-camera, her husband, Dana Isaiah quickly answers for her, “Yes.” As his wife laughs, she jokes, “I don’t even get to take a shot, damn it!” Afterward, she says the track of choice for the bedroom is “Silhouette” from her Right Here Right Now album.
